I'd be all for it.
Dunno what to go for as killer...
But like, imagine a Clicker killer with limited vision, but gains serious speed when they locate a survivor.
-
Chucky or Pennywise :D

Seriously if you know Spirit, her phasing tells and map tiles, it's completely possible to have long chases against skilled Spirits. The ones who say there are no counters to her, just haven't taken the time to understand her and how to throw her off.
Been a die hard Spirit main since her release, and being able to just think like a Spirit as survivor is tremendously helpful. Really for any killer, having experience or knowledge on their powers, tricks, and weaknesses will 100% help. Don't face a Spirit and dc on the first down either, you'll never learn how to play against her and you'll continue to assume she's way too OP.
It's so ignorant how many people give up against her. But it's also super refreshing when I face survivors who give me a really hard time.
Cause then I know it's not just me and it's totally possible to run a Spirit, sometimes even with Stridor.
Now on her hearing ability while phasing, I feel it can make it too easy to track especially with Stridor and I wouldn't mind it if they made it a little bit harder for her to hear in phase, making Stridor just bring her to old default. I base soo many phases on prediction as apposed to sounds, as its stupid fun to just phase around them and appear somewhere ahead of them and seems to be more effective as sounds are broken atm. Really the only time I might need sound is at loops, so I don't believe actually skilled Spirits will suffer too much and it will give survivors a bit more breathing room.
I'm sorry if you won't believe me, I already figure a change is imminent anyways.
Also I believe most of her first buffs were unnecessary.
I think the directional phasing sound should've stayed (An additional counter ig) and the vape sound on her side should stay loud to make to a bit harder to track.
I would also not hate the idea of bringing back the ability to hear her breathing while she's phasing.
To finish off here are the counters I can think of atm:
You can hear her footsteps while she's phasing, this has saved me more than a few times at pallets and windows.
Stay near defenses as much as possible, being out in the open makes you easy prey. Your best bet in this case is to run in random circles. Trees are good to run around too.
Keep your eye on her. She has a very visible animation reset and most of her long hair cosmetics will also jerk/reset the second she leaves the Husk. Use this to know when to start being unpredictable.
Make distance as much as possible. Do NOT head to the closest loop and stay there if she is far enough for you to make distance. Really with any killer, but Spirit especially you want to delay the looping with her as much as possible.
DON'T PLAY SO AGGRESSIVE. My worst Spirit games come from when the Survivors keep hiding from me and don't just sit on gens till I'm right on them.
You can trick a Spirit by running straight to a pallet or window and walking/running away from it right before you reach it making them think you're at it/using it possibly wasting their phase. Works best when not making injured grunts.

You have to agree when starting the game to characters and the game being changed.
You wont get a refund homie, stop wasting your time.
-
Id wait to test it, but after reading theyre mostly happy with him, i was surprised with such a big change.
-
Shadowborne is nice, but if you use it too much, not having will feel terrible. Id go with thrilling
-
Im sorry but its hard to validate your last 2 points as we already know theyre both going to keep coming nomatter what or who.
But with the first its true. The creators who did stuff on it and the community gave it a childish vibe.
But ignore everything but the game itself, its horror and filled with murderous and disturbing #########.
-
For both sides, to me its the points.
Its gonna stay like that till my goal of maxing everthing out is over. So, never.
-
I think we were spoiled with the previous killers power being pretty dynamic while deathslinger is almost straightforward and simple.
But i agree, chains of hate has to be my least favorite.
-
I will never use the perk by iteself, unless im the last alive. But you can use it smarter than just selfcare in the corner of the map while people are on the hook.
I love pairing it with medkits and or botany.
Its good to selfcare for a bit to save medkit use, especially when the killer has little momentum.
Definitely best to use the medkit when the killer is close.
Even if i dont bring a medkit, i absolutely bring botany and its a major help.
-
His removed slowdown when throwing bottles feels quite nice and i will be playing him more once the reload bug if fixed.
I cant dance anymore T.T
-
You can play how you want, but I personally look down on it just because it's giving in to what they want, and you're missing out on more points sitting there.
-
Survivor is Jane 100%. Used to be Nea.
For killer, I guess my absolute main is Spirit but I also often play Oni, Plague, Demo, and now PH.
-
Well if it's with specific builds, that's for any killer really.
-
Yes! I'll sometimes also be kind to people sending messages calling me a noob and etc, and it usually turns into a nice convo and a few times I've gotten people to play a few rounds with me.
-
And you're not reaching struggle phase on your first hook?
-
I'm actually getting a plethora of toxic killers as apposed to survivors, almost all moris and tunnels
-
This general idea isn't bad. I wouldn't go with lanterns but also don't know what to replace them with.
However, I feel this could become very unfun late game for survivors, especially if 2 survivors are left and most or all lanterns are broke.
It makes it a bit more rough to finish a gen while the other one is keeping them busy in this scenario.
Anything to compensate for that?
-
What can go wrong when you do 99 the gates:
-While chased by the killer, have to stop and tap the door to leave since no one opened it
What can go wrong when you don't 99 the gates:
-The killer has bloodwarden and traps the rest of the survivors inside for 60 seconds or even till the timer runs out
-Survivors run out early, fearing bloodwarden
-Due to the limited timer, your team had to give up on trying to rescue all teammates and someone dies on 1st or 2nd hook
-Due to the limited timer, while going for a rescue your team ended up not making it in time and all were sacrificed to the EGC
Yeah no, think about this, it's better to 99% the gates in most scenarios.
-
Please someone confirm if this is a thing.
I'd be so sad if they started capping these
-
Every bloodweb is 1 Offering no items for me.

There are multiple in a trial. Once one is taken, another one spawns elsewhere.
Is that how they work? I was under the assumption they spawned after a gen was completed.
If so then yeah, that's a bit unfair.
-
My only guess as to why is that there are 4 survivors and 1 killer, it's more likely a survivor will find and grab the crown before the killer.
-
I am LOVING the gameplay it's self, soo fun to sneak around and be immersive taking off enemies one by one, and it's just a better version of the first this time around.
There is controversy over the story, but if you are a die hard fan like me you shouldn't let story choices ruin your fun of the game.
-
I've noticed this happens if your bloodfury fills passively.
This is not supposed to happen, as you have to absorb at least one orb to activate it. Since a bug is making it fill, I guess that's breaking the conditions of actually filling the bar.
I can confirm hitting a healthy survivor will allow you to activate it when it's stuck.

It doesnt have to be since it's not even attached to the head however
I really want it to like take up a charm slot to equip, need this on more heads!
That could possibly make it work for Licensed characters too, because charms.

Yes a new slot or even taking up a current slot for charms idc. Anything but this.
With the eyes it was meh, not really missing out on much. But these are good enough to warrant going on top of other skins.
Yes^ This^
Use a charm slot for this! Something!
-
Also, as killer it seems you can get rid of it. Twice now I've attacked it trying to lead a survivor to it, and it just vanishes.
Also once when I just swung near it. This made me wonder if they teleport randomly and it was just coincidence?
-
It's essentially another glowy eye cosmetic.
Base head, with a small addition.

Agreed with all aside indoor maps one. I only like Lerys and The Game.
For mine, Plague is broken. Not in an OP way, but broken as in her power is unhealthy, it's controlled by survivors, and her power relies on the team as a whole to play it right, not 1 survivor like other killers. I find her completely unhealthy.
It's unhealthy because it makes them sick :D
No but seriously, that's true. Her power is really odd, it's useless sometimes but pretty op at others. It's a power far too reliant on the survivors.

I was under the assumption it was always there, and the spawning referred to it opening, because Multiple times as a killer i've found the hatch within the first minute of a game. it's hard to keep track of the other factors such as #of gens repaired when I made this assumption. Most likely I'm incorrect, which would make sense considering the video.
I've had a friend tell me this happened too, it could be a bug but it's really not supposed to show up that early.
If it did, keys would be stupid op. Start match>Find Hatch>Killer's Weave Snatched
-
Yeah I was a little sad too, I didn't care about the game as much to grind for the David and Huntress cosmetic, but I worked hard earning the BBQ items, and felt special when using em.
oh well, it's their decision ultimately and all it gets rid of is bragging rights tbh.

Survivor:
Item: Medkit with plenty of charges.
SpineChill, Fixated, SB, Botany
This is fantastic for avoiding a killer coming to a gen, Spine Chill goes off, you make sure they're really coming, hit the sprint button once and walk away from the gen keeping yourself out of view. You could do SB alone, but I've had so many close calls where if I was a hair later from going behind the bush I would've been spotted. Also times when I did only use Spring Burst but was seen just before I hid so I prefer the combo.
Killer: Spirit
Addons: Faster Activation with Better Post Lunge or Faster Phasing Speed.
Perks: Brutal Strength/Spirit Fury, Fire-Up, Enduring, Bamboozle/Whispers/STBFL/Remember Me.
Really, using mostly chase perks on Spirit makes me feel unstoppable, and it's been seriously successful for me.
Completely unnecessary for her to use chase perks, but you'll feel stupid fast if you do.
-
It's the fanbase that's ruined the game for a lot of people, but if you just look at what the game is and what's it's trying to be, it's definitely a good horror game with some freaky foes.
Would love to see Springtrap in dbds
-
For survivor, YES. I find them a bit spookier since you can't just watch the killer from across the map and feels safe. I'd prefer it if it was hard to see in every map, I remember the old old game having a weird blurring distant fog; I want it back.
For killer, YES. Essentially the same reason^ I seem to have the most success cutting people off in indoor maps.
-
Spirit is the most fun to play against.
Indoor maps are really fun as survivor.
Autodidact is extremely helpful and possibly even OP.
Noed is perfectly fine how it is, it's the survivors who refuse to cleanse that make it terrible.
-
Cleansing for the most part is bad till the end.
If you can't run an M1 killer with 1 health state, you definitely can't run from her Corrupt Purge xD
-
Overall it's for the best. A large majority of the messages I'd get were toxic, this game is the reason I set my messages to private.
However, you very well can still just look at their name and search it up.

They’ve said since the beginning of the complains that it doesn’t affect your hits at all, the problem is that people KNOW there’s a problem and can’t find anything to blame it on but this (Which is justified).
Just happened to me again. It was as if I tapped the attack, but I definitely was holding it down.
-
It's horror. Horror that is well known, and there's always mixed feelings on the licenses. Not impossible honestly.

Ok with the lunge thing, i thought that was just me f'n up. Its like hits just arent connecting like theyre supposed to
They've addressed it and they continue to deny this is a thing.
It 100% is. This auto aim or whatever decides if you got the hit, needs adjusting.
Way too many times have I held the button for a full lunge, and for whatever reason it cuts short and whiffs. Thanks, but I wasn't done lunging.
-
I've wanted WoO to increase vault speed, but this is better. Also like the Zanshin idea!
-
That's intended, the option wont show up until you're injured.
-
Considering they've made a Chapter from a game, I wouldn't say this is impossible. It was pretty popular for a moment, but certain youtubers and the influx of kids (for whatever godawful reason) getting into the game made the game get a bad rep.
It's a great horror game series, and I'd personally love to see Springtrap make it as a killer. No clue what the power could be, or who the survivor could be.
-
Most likely an issue with the new map.
-
This is much better placement for head-on, I'm assuming that's a reason why.
-
Will Mark Jefferson be the killer and photo people to death? xD
Lol jokes aside, I've wanted Chloe to be in the game but that's just an impossible dream.
-
Your expectations shouldn't be so high for a wild forest woman who accidentally kills children and is out to murder you. She's trying her best yo :'(
But fr, it's a gameplay aspect for the killer, I 100% doubt this would ever happen sorry.
-
It just feels like other indoor maps on first release, can't really get an overlook and overall just feels more confusing at the start. Saw a map layout and it became muuch more clear.
I will say sometimes getting up and down floors as killer feels worse than it should.
-
I noticed the number of PH I was facing dropped a lot faster than other new killers, I think people are struggling too much with his power.
I've played no other killer than Clown once to test the adjustment (which was very welcomed, but ######### is that slowdown after reload? Can't even dance properly anymore!) and I'll say you shouldn't use the ranged attack as much as it seems, just start your RoJ as they head to a window or pallet, most of the time they'll leave it and you can get a basic m1. If they do go to use them windows are easy if you're quick to use it, but if you were slow to activate it's best to aim slightly left or right.
Also, I've noticed the closer they are the faster it'll hit them. The hitbox travels down the path, the whole path doesn't instantly do damage so keep that in mind when increasing the range.
For pallets, I'm unsure if it's a bug but activating the power as soon as you get stunned will still hit the survivor dropping the pallet. If it's intentional, use that to your advantage. I'd say don't practice it if it's a bug. Other than that it's similar to huntress to guess if they're going to drop it so you can use the ranged while they're stuck in animation.
