It's just not practical enough for them to do it. Crossplay changes literally nothing about that so I don't get why that's a reason to bring it back up. It's a different version from the live one, including separate matchmaking/servers.
I'd rather them shove one out on pc since it's quick and they have more time for bug testing.
-
That's odd, things have been great speed wise for matchmaking. Almost instant survivor games, at most wait 1 minute for killer.
-
I didn't even realize he was Korean, yet to read lore before Myers
-
This is a good point to bring up, for me at least. Didn't even occur to me.
I'll often do similar things, let survivors wiggle while pretending to go to hook, missing and leaving, and I also go far away and let them reset if it was too fast before eventually finishing the job.
I do this for not only my points and enjoyment, but for the others too. I don't want people to hate the game because they were unfairly matched.
However, if I DO do this and the system reads it as they're outplaying me, it'll probably just match them up with someone better next time. So a big part of my reasoning is completely ruined, if this is the case.
Shoot.
-
At least with the new MMR system, if it's working properly, will make playing other killers a lot more bearable. Get sweaty survivors with your good killers, and less skilled survivors with killers you've barely played or are working out how to play.
I wonder if the number behind each killer goes down overtime, because you do get rusty with powers if you haven't played them in awhile. This is bound to happen with the amount of killers we have and are getting.
-
This is one of the linked cosmetics I don't get why are a full 3 set piece. Why can't the head be separate?
-
Yikes... Can't play him at base charge?
He's totally fine for people that didn't have to use his best addons all the time or facecamp with the chainsaw out.
-
I knew it! It's one of my favorite perks for whatever reason (not kidding) and now I see it's because it's made me win games. GGS!
-
I dunno if it just takes practice, but I do just fine with jukes/360s when the game itself doesn't deny it.
Sensitivity is 85% and is perfect for me.
-
You really did it to yourself. There is no "Ok I let you go so you have to do what I want you to".
If I want to let someone go I'll wait till they are absolutely last.
-
If you're getting Tantrum from holding the chainsaw then you definitely aren't playing him right. That mechanic literally should only come into play if the Bubba is face camping while holding the chainsaw. At no point do you want to hold it that long during a chase.
-
4 bottles is more than enough if you can place good bottles. You can't just keep throwing them at the survivor to try and close distance, they need to be used at loops. If you do want to throw a bottle ahead, it seems best to throw it up high and spread the area more. It'll also make it slightly more difficult for the survivor to dodge as they'll have to look up and see where the gas is falling.
-
So as others gave great counters to Deathslinger and Pyramid head I'll say a few to help against Spirit.
Be more scared against Spirit matches, such as don't stick on gens when you hear the heartbeat and avoid chases as much as possible.
Keep line of sight on her, you need to know when she's began phasing so you can start trying to outplay her.
Pay attention to her hair and animations when a Spirit is trying to trick you, there are noticeable signs when she's left her body if you pay close enough attention, any one who doesn't believe me needs to get on KYF and I'll 100% tell you everytime you phase. It happens pretty much right as she leaves her husk, so act fast.
Stick near pallets and windows as much as possible, and like I said watch for when she's phasing, then be unpredictable. Even if you're making noise, you can slow vault a pallet or window as soon as she's lost sight.
This is how I and the good survivors I've versed can keep a Spirit busy.
-
Oooh someone who for some reason wastes their own time by leaving right before the match ends!
I need to know sir,
Why don't you stay and just take your points??
If you don't want to play, why start a match??
Did you know this can also effect the other people trying to play the game depending on how early you dc?
Thanks for your time, I want to know how the minds work of the people who do this.
-
I'd say for solo definitely not, but swf can do some ridiculous stuff with it.
-
Feel like it's similar to the Moon offerings.
It's just easier to make linked ones, since no clipping issues will arise.
-
I find the hatchets very easy to dodge normally, it's just up to the Huntress to make perfectly timed throws to avoid it, aka skill.
I think she's very balanced, addons not so much.
-
I still think he should be able to shoot into a wall and sprint.
Edit: I actually want to elaborate quickly on a few things:
This would give him both mobility and breathing room for survivors during chase.
For the latter, his the Deathslinger hits a wall he can either reel to sprint forward or do the basic attack to break it out of the wall. This means missing and hitting and object will make the deathslinger slowed down from the extra recovery; giving survivors extra time occasionally.
-
Clown isint it for sure, his ability to quickly end chases is pretty good. He's by no means top tier but I'm consistently playing him since the mini buff and the games are going better than ever. Always liked him, but barely played him. He's not the worst, but probably the most boring killer.
It's hard to say, all killers feel somewhat solid right now. I'd have to say Wraith, but that's because he's pretty addon dependent. Trapper possibly if you count for the fact that survivors could just end up avoiding every trap; addon dependent as well because 1 trap at base is garbage.
-
I'd be so happy with a Fnaf chapter, hopefully it'd show others what horror the franchise can have.
-
At the moment, I'd say somewhat. Crossmap survivors I really struggle to see but closer ones aren't terrible.
-
I can barely see cross map survivors as killer, it feels like a nerf to BBQ
-
The only issue is his turning feels really off. Especially the flick.
-
Had this game for years.
For some reason, hillbilly was really unappealing to me so I've played him maybe 6 or 7 times legit (not farming) and even I can tell it's really off after trying it once today.
It was clearly touched, I doubt it was intentional though as said before.
-
To avoid stupid anger, it's a lot easier for me to look at points for winning.
This also makes me do more as survivor, and not tunnel or camp as killer. Need to get all them points!
-
Too many people responded with "survs too op already".
Well, I'd be all for adding something because if you think a lil bit, you can assume that obviously loops should be adjusted to fit the new stuff, not just add on top of what we have, giving survivors more strength. It could be just to make chases more interactive and fresh.
I don't have any ideas unfortunately but the lack of ideas posted made me saddd
-
There will be more chances for survivors against Billy, similar to Nurse now. I'm sure they'll work down the list with all the ones people whine about.
Why is this such a terrible thing?
-
Hybrid Panda will have to always be number 1 for me, as he got me into the game years ago.
But I also really enjoy to watch Otz, Monto, Ohm, Paulie Esther, and MzreYuen
-
It can be rough.
I've gone through 2mil bloodpoints on my clown and I just barely got the ONE PERK I wanted. (Got it's level 1)

It really is tbh, but you are choosing to let this killer know you have no intentions of helping them earn some points, while they would do the same.
So I would expect salt, or even a straight tunnel till death before they start farming with the rest.
I personally just chase the people who don't and let the others unhook em twice, then I'll leave them alone.
-
I'd love to test the non directional audio for phase.
I also just want to point out that survivors can hear her footsteps while phasing, and you can see visible jerks to her animations/hair the second she leaves the husk. So there is more than just the Whooshing
-
Some people do walk a bit too much when they use it.
When I bring it in, I'll walk to the first gen in case I'm caught first, and run to every other gen after.
-
Nurse is definitely the top killer still. Completely ignores defenses, while you can still defend yourself even if not much with Spirit.
A truly skilled Nurse shouldn't have been hit too hard with the changes, as all you need it the 2 blinks to get a hit; first blink to get close and second to land the strike. The cooldown just slightly delays the time between tries.
It's really gonna come down to practice, if you want to get better with her I suggest just playing the hell outta her. Being able to predict survivors is a big part of it, so just pay attention to how they're avoiding your blinks if you struggle and be ready for it.
-
There really should be more killers like this, so I'm happy to see it.
However, they really should buff stealth. I think it might get buffed when the new graphics are out, but if only by a little bit. Not sure how they could do this other than make more little hiding spots, better grass/bushes, and maybe something new to hide in like a barrel.

just because they can lobby dodge doesn't mean they will
The problem comes down to people will, and a lot will.
When we could see ranks it happened much more often, I really expect it to get bad if we can see swf since a lot of killers tend to leave even when survivors come in groups; which isint a true way to tell anymore.
-
- To Lobby Dodge
Yup
-
I find survivor easier than killer. Killer is where it's rough with me, especially on Spirit while phasing.

Any killer who uses basic attacks to down survivors, it's a very good perk. It regresses the base ten percent and then eight percent, so 18% and that's PRETTY good.
As far as on killers like Billy, Huntress, and sometimes LF, it doesn't proc nearly as often and you won't wanna run it.
I just want to clarify even though it's worded as it is, it does NOT regress 18%. This was tested I believe by Otz, and it only regresses the 8%.
-
There's that sweet spot for the most part when it comes to hiding, don't want to do it too early and waste time or too late and get caught out possibly giving a hit.
I agree people need to stop taking it to the extreme and urban evading away the second they hear the heartbeat.
HOWEVER
Just to throw in, this normally stupid gameplay style is verrrry good against Spirit. You want to avoid getting in chases with good spirits as much as possible, and you dunno if the second you hear the heartbeat she's started phasing. I swear out of all my games as Spirit, the ones where survivors are seriously immersive are my worst games.

Those add-ons seem so fun. I really want to try playing as Oni but I feel like he’s gonna be really hard to control on PS4. I might start spending some BP on him and take him for a test drive.
I love burning a Hawkins offering when I play as Legion. That map is incredibly annoying for them. 😂
He's my second main on Ps4 and the controls are no problem honestly! Turning up the sensitivity (mine is at 85%) can really help but other wise it's still easy to Dash and Flick.
-
I think a Spirit Doc Combo would be deadly. Have the doc shock and reveal them while she's phasing.
-
It looked like it was going to be amazing so that's really unfortunate, but things happen.
I hope to see it make a comeback in the future!
-
It's fast enough to stay in chase but not faster than normal movement speed.
Can we talk about how since the reload bug you can't dance anymore tho? Even after the fix, you can't rapid tap the reload anymore T.T
-
When I practiced nurse, I used the addon that shows the blink spot every other game. It would help me get a feel for blinks, then try a game without it.
I do not recommend learning her and keeping that on her everytime, as it might really hinder you when you don't have it.
-
Later dudes.
-
I was able to get it, but my issue with it is it will jerk pretty bad when she leaves the husk, making it even more obvious when she's phasing.
-
Agree with all you said.
Also would love to see Child's play, Fnaf, Last of Us, and Outlast.
-
Because it's not a terrible idea. PH just made killers from other games seem more possible, the Animatronics are the right shape for a killer and it's part of a horror franchise.
Baffles me how many ignore the actual horror JUST because of a fanbase.

It's target audience is / was younger kids. it's fanbase is terrible and cringy, no one wants any of that stuff in DbD except the kids who grew up watching Pewdipie and Markiplier playing it back when they were 12.
I highly doubt it's target audiance was supposed to be kids, the fanbase made the game bad but ignoring that it's still a great horror genre and I think would be a welcomed addition.
