I think he himself can be a pretty deadly killer. The few skilled Blights i've been blessed to face were terrifying.
However, I think he's much harder to play on console so I'd love to see some kind of adjustment for that.
-
Killer's vision is much brighter than a survivors, allowing survivors to have more of a dark horror experience without hurting killer's gameplay.

Myers: people will try to avoid stalk in loops and i have a different early game with a M1-Killer
Plague: could be working, but i think survivor will loop differently bc they think i will infect them
Plague's infect will only injure them, you have to down with an M1 when they don't cleanse.
Not to mention, it's much better to just start infecting and then injure them yourself with your basic attack. Better than trying to waste time fully infecting a single survivor who is dodging/looping.
-
Seriously the increase of maps lacking spots for balanced landing is annoying. Have at least one proper drop somewhere, so it's not a wasted perkslot when you do bring it.
Not to mention, Macmillan map with the Tree was changed so you can't even use that tree in this barren map. They missed a huge opportunity to do something cool with that tree.
-
Seriously, it seems this patch also broke every killer in some way.

im not the OP but ive got mild deuteranopia colorblindness, which is red/green and i gotta say, im loosing a lot more survs now lol
Ohh that type of thing didn't even occur to me.
Honestly I had hoped they were going to get rid of the tint, maybe they will now if more people speak up.
-
I'm with ya dude.
I am disappointed in the fact that the numbers were decreased and they no longer work with certain killer lunges, but I'm loving it otherwise. You can easily save them when you don't need them, and they can help you hit a survivor who woulda got that window and made it out, ya know?
-
Where are they?! Where is the person holding a gun to your head making you run this perk?!!
Nowhere?
Huh.
-
Couldn't agree more, I'm playing only The Twins killer wise and even working through the bugs I've been doing fantastic. They fit my playstyle perfectly as I tend to try and spread pressure as often as possible.
Also idc if someone takes victor, i can either recall him after a short while (perfect time to go do some gen/pallet kicking) or chase down that survivor and prove to them they're not as good in a chase as they seem to think they are lmao.
-
Not all killers play for YOUR enjoyment.
-
Yep feels like it, also has anyone noticed Spirit's post phase or demo's shred being shorter? I'm not crazy right?
-
I REALLY doubt they'll stray back from the Freddy they have now, it's just gonna get tweaks.
Maybe remove gen slowdown addons, add a slowdown when placing snares, or make dream pallets less brain dead.
-
Definite camping pros.
Biggest con to camping is losing pressure on the rest of the survivors, but that's barely a problem for the Twins.
-
Either just a small number boost, or add another effect. Maybe also have it reduce missed cooldowns/hit cooldowns or Stuns
-
What do you play on? If it's pc what settings do you use?
I'm playing on PS4 Pro and Switch, and I can see just fine in those.
-
Really my only tip for his pounces are be patient like with a Billy backrev, hold that charge till they move back infront of you. Quick reflexes are a factor in this tbh.
-
Don't quit if this happens, you aren't stuck as an M1 for the rest of the match.
I'm playing the hell out of the twins and working through the bugs (Holy ######### they shoulda delayed this tbh) and when he spawns in stuck, just swap back and wait till he expires. Sometimes a survivor will even kick it early for you, not realizing he's stuck.
I DONT recommend trying to pounce when he gets stuck, while it will sometimes gets you out, it can also cause you to get stuck in his falling/leaping animation and then you can't swap to Charlotte and let him expire.
-
Aw, just learning he doesn't slow at all. Been trying to stay mostly spoiler free (is hard) and I thought he did slow them down at least, so that when playing as Charlotte you've got something else going for you. Don't get me wrong, victor is awesome, but Charlotte should have something for when victor is not with her besides possible info.
Edit: Victor should be able to slow down survivors he's on, or down after some time.
-
It's talking about that vape sound, the whooshing you hear outta the terror radius.
However, I'd like to say something on this.
This bug used to be in the game, and I remember playing her a lot with it. This was also when she had directional phasing sounds.
I'm not hurting as much as some people might think she would with this. Idk if it's my playstyle as spirit, but I wouldn't be mad if this stayed.
Survivors need something with Spirit, (I don't agree, you can see her phase by animations/hair already) and this doesn't kill actually skilled Spirits.
Fakes can still work, but it also can give survivors more of a chance to win that fake. Just listen to that breathing.
If it helps at all, I play more on predictions than I do sounds. I often use phase in just small bursts during chase. Also with this bug, faking in a phase is fun, move away, come back. Trips up the ones who are obviously paying attention.
-
I tried making a discussion asking what they were going to do about it. but they merged it with a topic just reporting the issue.
I wanted acknowledgment, as well as a what going to happen because of it, I wasn't just reporting the issue.

Great.
Having fun so far playing this event, especially when it's running on a Power Point slide show :I

No, no you're really not. In fact nobody will stop taking about it.
I hope so. Maybe it'll make them change that.
-
Only Playable during the event.
Am I the only one upset about this?
Potential reasoning: Its op on some killers.
Why that reason would be ignorant: It's limited as hell.
-
Those distance numbers baffle me, as before they've made an effort to reduce the gap between perk tiers.
I feel like someone forgot... xD
-
The fps on this latest patch has been horrible.
Almost a PowerPoint presentation for consoles, can we expect a hotfix within the next day or two? If not, an extension of the event?
Please don't screw console players out of enjoying the event.
-
If they wanna stick with just skill checks, we should get different variations of skill checks.
I wanted reverse to be one, but maybe it should stay doctor exclusive.
Slower skill checks, faster skill checks, straight line skill checks, idk square skill checks.
Double skill checks (hit two times) , skill checks to press and hold.
Just some kind of variation, please.
-
I always hear about people having bad framerate on console, but I never have much issue and maybe it's because I use a ps4 Pro.
However, My game was running like a switch as survivor on the new Suffocation pit. I'm gonna go test killer on the new maps now, I hope its not as unplayable.
-
Yes.
PLEASE
-
Meh, I'll still take Surge/Pop/Overcharge for my gens. Random crap like that is not very fun to me.
Ppl praise totems way too much.
-
I still haven't turned it off and I prob never will. Just happy to play with more of the community, and get better play time. Just really wish consoles got the endgame chat!

I guess for the same reasons why killers stand on the hatch and wait for the last survivor just to close it in front of them. Like you said, BM. People will always find a way to be toxic, no matter if you were "nice" or not. It's not a survivor/killer thing, it's a human being thing.
Actually, I believe for killer it's more of a strategy. Some killers might be doing it to BM, but it's sometimes helpful to wait till you spot them before closing the hatch, as then you can immediately chase them without worry of them getting a door.
-
I'd have to say Hag, Doctor, and Trapper.
I'm just terribly unlucky against trap killers, and the Doctor is frustrating because there is minimal chance to hide, especially during a chase. So it's chase until down or until they decide to leave you.

it's a tie between spirit and freddy for me
freddy's matches go on forever and the dream world hurts my eyes (thankfully it's not so bad on the reworked maps)
spirit matches always go the same way making them bland, she stands still and now i have to make a 50/50 guess on what she is doing and hope she makes a mistake and even if she does a good spirit only uses their power in little spurts so that they can use it again 5 seconds later and then this prosesse repeats itself until she inevitably gets me.
For the Spirit, please try just watching her at a 50/50. Once you see her animations change unnaturally and sometimes the hair will noticeably stand up then start either walking, slow vault what she is trying to fake, or even wait an extra second after she begins phasing then fast vault. However, the last one is more risky depending on her speed/duration.

Survivor: Fixated and Botany Knowledge
Killer: Unrelenting, I'm All Ears, Spies from the Shadows.
Unrelenting is actually incredibly useful for punishing great loopers who save pallets when the killer misses.
-
If you can traverse well with his power, it's one of the best and quietest (Which is what makes tinkerer so good) powers for mobility. I think the attack is fine as is.
-
Personally, I'm yet to face a hacker. Play almost every day, and I'll play for hours on a time. It's possible a teammate was and I didn't notice, but even then I haven't seen anything such.
Also, I'm fairly certain you can't lagswitch anymore.
-
I do on occasion, because it actually has a very nice use against efficient loopers.
When the killer near misses right before a pallet, some big brained survivors will use that recovery time to make an extra loop. With Unrelenting, the cooldown is short enough that when they do preserve the pallet you'll get a hit right before they get back to it.
Edit: forgot to mention that when using this perk, miss like that on purpose if you know they'll get to the pallet otherwise to hopefully take advantage of this.
-
I would actually rather see him be able to slam into gens and instantly kick them.
Had this idea from a match where the survivor missed a check the second I hit a gen, and made me thing it could.
I would just rather this apposed to the pallets base kit since there's already other killers that can break pallets with their power, why not gens?
As you're running by, use the gen as a slam point.
-
2 Minutes past an hour, WERE IT BE REEEE
-
I think they are fine, but they should be pink, not brown honestly.
-
Would it really kill them to give like 5 or 10 Auric Cells in the empty spaces?
Maybe even Bloodpoints or Iri Shards?
SOMETHING to fill the gaps in the rifts that are obviously currently there to encourage people to spend the $10.
I buy it because I have a problem with buying stuff on dbd, but I can see how seriously disappointing this is for people who CAN'T buy it.

Yet as a comparison, there are killers whose powers can be used to close distance and be used at loops (spirit, hillbilly, etc). Many killers have strengths in multiple categories and clown is just a 1-trick pony at loops and he's not even best in class for the single thing he does.
It's a different way to play, doesn't matter if another killer can get similar or better results.
I can't throw my phase or chainsaw to the two loops next to the one im in to prep for them to run.
-
It's barely been different for me, it's still the same sweaty high rank teams you'd face on console.
They jukes were a bit different, but they're always so easy to deal with once you just predict them.
If you're really doing that bad every game, it might just be you.
Or, you're making this all up to try and use crossplay to persuade the devs into survivor nerfs.

@Zozzy said:
You guys act like EAC actually does something lol.
Do a quick google search and you can see just how many people are cheating in this game.
You are defending a company that makes YOU record every game, sit in the lobby while you upload it, get the steam id of the cheater and fill out a form to report someone. They have their own servers, they should have a record and review system like everyone else does by now.
I'm confused, what do I google? "How many dbd players cheat"??
That's really not something you can google....
But still, there are probably a lot number wise, but the chances of getting one shouldn't be that high. I'm still yet to face a cheater on crossplay.
-
I guess they've all just wanted easier games?
There really is no fun in it (unless easy no point games are fun to you) and it kills points for both sides. Both tunneling and moris will eat away potential points.
-
There really should be more map variants like this, there are plenty of realms that should get more. I'm also a little baffled you think you gameplay is bad, I've always felt it had some of the most "balanced" loops due to how many can be won with mindgames and smart plays instead of crap and god loops.
These also keep the realms from going stale, and gives more opportunities at variety with set tile spawns.

It might have been terrible luck but regardless, opting out of crossplay gave me much better games. I have no incentive to go back into the horrible experience of crossplay and rainbow ranks every match.
Really keep it what you like best! Just trying to point out it might not be from that alone, but the dirtbags you did happen to come across.
As long as you keep playing period my friend :D

Just curious, how do you know which platform theyre playing on?
For killer it's left up to a guess, but it is kinda obvious when a survivor is using a keyboard as apposed to controller. Noticed right away.
For survivor, it's my pc friend who is letting me know who is and isint pc.
-
It stopped bothering me because of when I'd play against pc players and totally prove what they've been saying wrong.
The pc player I've been playing with told me the killer has complimented me as a "console player" several times already. As killer, the survivors clearly on keyboard have barely anything over the controller survivors, the jukes are just as easy to hit once you know they'll use em.
I don't understand the "console players are way worse" Me and my ps4 friends are doing just as fine, and I've seen so many crap pc survivors/killers, I'm starting to think it's the other way around. Obviously neither is true, framerate and the controller can hurt accuracy in gameplay, but I don't think that means a damn thing as there are plenty of pc players without topnotch machines already running at console or even worse framerate. The arguments make minimal sense imo. Maybe it's because I'm on a ps4 pro, but I don't see a single advantage (minus Huntress, DSL, Nurse, and maybe demo/plague) that pc players have. The game still works the same.
-
This just sounds like terrible luck, my games have been pretty great.
