Apparently, it is "literally" not challenging.
Personally, I think this one is going to be hard as well without a 3/4 man SWF on comms.
I mean yeah, it's not challenging. It's super luck based. If you get good teammates I don't even know how you would get it unless they 99% them and let you complete them.

Well time to use a full gen rush build with dark sense sorry killers
Even with a build like that, you almost need bad teammates to get this one. It already took me like 15 matches to get the one with 3 gens.
-
The dark sense challenge also made it in. It took me like 10 - 15 matches to get the one with 3 gens, I will need some insane luck to complete this one.
-
75% : 25%
Rank 1 : Rank 7
It is currently like this but I am starting to play killer a lot more since I am not enjoying solo survivor at all at the moment. It's just full of bad survivors.
@Peanits said:
I went ahead and actually checked my stats.
46.31% : 53.69%
TIL I need to play more survivor.
Wouldn't it be great if everyone could do that in game?

@Rin_is_my_waifu said:
No. It's an exploit for salty survivors who can't handle a loss.
I'm really looking forward to DC penalties for console. You PC players are so lucky
The punishment literally starts at 60 seconds though lmao. I can still see people abusing this, unless they implement the husk system they mentioned months ago.
-
If the last survivor played well (and wasn't toxic) I will probably give them the hatch.
-
I wouldn't call that "abusing ds" but you didn't do anything unfair.

or how about a person who plays 50/50? "Git Gud" because it's an ultra rare. im sorry that you got insta downed by a killer that has to throw a hatchet into you, predicting where your running with no cross hair... would you rather a basement bubba?
Not sure why you are responding to a 2 months old comment but whatever
That logic doesn't make any sense. Being "rare" is no excuse for being that powerful. I'm pretty sure you can win almost all the time with that addon + infantry belt if you are a good huntress.
-
Yes, nerf both keys and moris
-
Iron will already doesn't work on downed survivors as far as I know.

I was active in that subreddit a while ago, it seemed pretty killer biased to me then, don't know if anything changed.

Kind of unrelated but how long is the disconnection penalty?

I feel like a good buff would be a change to the hitboxes of objects scattered around the maps. I can't tell you how many times an axe should've landed when it insead hit an invisible object, typically being the hitbox of a car.
The only issue I could see that would rise from this is accidentally changing how the hitboxes react with players running into them (i.e. how much space you have to run around an object). Objects should have different hitboxes when it comes to ranged powers though, so this shouldn't be a problem.
Regardless, I know one of the most frustrating things I face as huntress is not being able to hit survivors if they are behind an object, even if that object doesn't provide enough cover and I should easily hit them. It just makes me wonder what the whole point of her character is if I can't hit people from a distance.
Her hitboxes are just very messy overall. Sometimes the hatchets hit when they aren't even close to you, sometimes they go right through you, sometimes they hit the weird hitboxes of objects. They can also hit survivors working on gens (survivors hitboxes act like they are standing up when working on gens for some reason).
-
I don't use it personally because hex perks are very luck based and they can get cleansed immediately if you get a bad totem spawn. Devour hope can definitely work well with certain killers/builds though, I just don't want to rely on luck for the most part.
-
For me it's dead hard but sprint burst can be just as good if you can use the exhaustion to your advantage.

It's a consequence of a different change, so yes and no. No, we didn't set out to specifically remove it, but yes we know it's gone.
Then the question is are you guys planning on bringing it back?
-
@Peanits said:
No, it's not. You can hit them immediately after.
Was the removal of the old unhook tech intentional?
-
There are many claudette players famously referred as blendettes. They use urban evasion and crouch around the map, usually being useless
-
If you are really, really having trouble with it, you can use mad grit (it's one of legion's teachables), agitation (trapper's teachable) or iron grasp but I don't think it's necessary.
Usually survivors will try to bait hits to make you miss. Only try to hit if you are really close to them. since you can't lunge while carrying, your hit distance is pretty short.
-
You need to have some luck to get that one. I managed to get it on one try against nurse on solo survivor. My team played like potatoes and they all died pretty quickly. I was lucky enough to find the hatch.

100% when oni came out he cried that he had no counterplay now hes crying that they nerfed him to the ground I dont get this person
He said the ptb version was broken because of the 180 degree flick and he was fine with the release version.

There's actually a recent discussion about it, that's why the OP made this thread!
I'm a main survivor and to be honest, this game is starting to become a single player mode were easy mode is almost always active!
Yeah I just saw that. Seriously though, you can find people complaining about every single killer in the game. That doesn't mean they are going to get nerfed
-
Literally no one is saying anything about hag. I don't know where you guys get these ideas.
-
I don't have any problems with it. It is super easy to avoid as killer if you have ears. If you keep falling for it over and over it is your fault.
-
You can 99% it and start running, walk for a split second and activate the sprint burst. It's not an exploit.
You guys really want to make all perks useless don't you?
-
The killer can catch up after the second vault on the courtyard as far as I know.
-
I can already imagine insidious leatherface in basement, defending the totem. No thank you
-
If they don't have 4 toolboxes or keys then I'm OK with going against swf
-
Currently yes but I would like it to be removed at some point, after certain items are adjusted.
-
This game would die if swf didn't exist.
-
My desire to play solo survivor is basically non existent at this point. I just want some decent teammates at the TOP rank in the game, is that too much to ask? Ranks are actually meaningless these days.
-
I have to say, these victimizing posts are starting the get funny at this point.
No, the devs don't favour any side. They don't hate killers or survivors. They are aware of all the problems but it's not simple to fix these things. Drop the "they don't care about us" mentality already.
-
@ApeOfMazor said:
Good. They need to remove survivor immunity too when unhooked. Somebody needs to take the damage. Survivors get enough free escapes as it is they don't need invulnerability as well.
Nope. This game does not need any more buffs to camping.
-
What, do you not enjoy playing with new players at the top rank in the game? Seems pretty enjoyable and fair to me
-
It's really weird. Killers weren't able to hit hooked survivor in a previous patch so this tech was nerfed, then they brought it back saying it wasn't intentional, now the tech is gone entirely

Spirit is still strong. Nurse isn't on most maps.
Why doesn't anyone play spirit anymore? She is probably the best killer in the game right now, I have only seen her twice since her nerf.
-
I am starting to see more nurses lately. I have only seen 2 spirits since her nerf though.

I can't even be happy or feel stress relief after getting 4k or 3k because of the amount of ######### this game throws at me, auto aim, loops you can't mind game, god loops, gen times etc etc
I had to play a red mori game just to make myself feel better
They are killers for god sakes, not a test dummy for survivors
Why shouldn't it be stressful? You are one person going against 4 people. Of course it will be stressful.
Don't expect relaxing games just because they are "killers".

Uh huh. Lets see, ruin usually goes down in seconds due to broken survivor spawns. You run the loop until you catch up, then a pallet goes down and they run to the next loop, then the next one, then the next one, then the god loop. After that, you finally down them, and all of that work can be destroyed by an overpowered flashlight, but even if you get the hook off, it's one of 12 required and you're probably staring at 2 gens left. Then you're expected to leave the area and not camp, because that's "toxic" killer behavior.
Rinse and repeat for your second hook, but now the gates are powered, so you hook someone and try to guard them, but borrowed time allows them to escape, and even if you do manage to down them again, they probably have decisive as well.
You didn't even safety pip, and the survivors trash talk you for camping. When you point out how weak killer is, it's "welcome to killer":
Honestly at this point, I'm convinced that BHVR is the entity and they thrive on the suffering of their customers.
Did you ever think that maybe you played bad? It's so easy to put to blame on the game.
Flashlights are not overpowered, they aren't hard to avoid. In fact, going against a team with 4 flashlights usually works in your favour if you know how to avoid them. They constantly chase you to get a flashlight save instead of doing gens and that usually costs them the game.

I miss the old main menu music personally... (The piano score).
But I believe it does this so you can cycle through the unique music that's linked between each Killer... except a few that don't have unique music like Trapper, Wraith, etc... Killers like Myers (at the start), Spirit, Clown, etc, have unique music that plays in the Killer menu because that's the music that their trailers came with... and it also came with their debut into the LIVE game in the main menu...
The same was for Legion when he was release, Plague, and GhostFace... the main menu reflected their unique themes until the next DLC dropped... than it was changed.
I wish they gave us an option to choose between them tbh. I really like the stranger things and the 2017 halloween music . I would probably use them most of the time.

"it doesn't mean much" - thank you.
Therefore, they are not facts. Facts mean everything.
It's a FACT that they compiled some very general and inconclusive statistics. It is not a fact that they hold any credibility due to the missing variables.
Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. The numbers are true but you can't draw any conclusions from it. It's a fact that some killers have 70% kill rates but that doesn't mean anything.
We are basically saying the same things so let's not continue this any longer lmao.
-
@The_Second_Coming said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/918098#Comment_918098
They are inconclusive because of all the different scenarios and things they don't take into account. The choices both sides make every match, whether or not they are meming, whether or not DC's occur, or people suicide on hook, whether a mori or key was used etc.
That's what I'm saying as well but at the end, those are the end results. The numbers are correct, even though it doesn't mean much.
-
@The_Second_Coming said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/918057#Comment_918057
Your entire rhetoric is thrown out the window when the people who compiled the stats said to, in a few words, not take them seriously. Thus, making them completely inconclusive to real world stats.
How are they inconclusive to real world stats? That would mean the stats were calculated wrong. No matter how many bad survivors there are or how many people kill themselves on hook etc. some killers have high kill rates.
Yes, there is much more to it than that but those are the stats. If they say 70% kill rates, then that's the truth. Like I said, that doesn't really mean much and can't be used for balancing purposes since there are a lot more things that needs to be taken into consideration, but those are the numbers.
-
@The_Second_Coming said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/918030#Comment_918030
Even the devs said to take that with a grain of salt because there's so much more to it than just "killers are winning at red ranks". So, no, it's hardly "facts".
It's theoretical analysis at best.
I mean, the stats don't lie. The reality is that some killers have around 70% kill rates. They just can't be used for balancing purposes. That's the part where we take it with a grain of salt in my opinion.
-
Killers win more than survivors, even in red ranks. Those are the facts, no one should deny it. BUT that doesn't really mean killers are overpowered. It's because the average survivor is really bad. Even in rank 1, most survivors are complete potatoes.
If the ranking system actually made sense and only good survivors were placed in red ranks then these stats would mean a lot more.
-
The flick was never intended to be that strong. They said this multiple times already. It was even listed in the Known Problems section on the patch notes.
-
4 toolboxes are much, much worse
-
It depends on a lot of things. Which killer are you playing? are you playing solo or in a swf group or are you going against a swf group?
Killer is generally more stressful though.
