Badham School is the strongest loop in the game, change my mind

You've got the loop that goes around the school into the courtyard that is basically guaranteed 3 free vaults. The cars around the school are a strong unmindgameable loop that feed into the school. There is a chance for a pallet to spawn in either a room that has to be broken, or in the hallway that leads out to the courtyard, strengthening the window loop even more.

The basement has a window that always spawns and always has 1 extremely safe pallet that the killer has to break. On top of this, there is also the chance for a loop to spawn outside, right next to the school opposite the parking lot, and almost every loop or pallet in Badham leads to the school.

Add on Dead Hard, Lithe, Sprint Burst, or even Balanced Landing and you could loop the killer here for at least 2 or 3 minutes, and because there are a couple of pallets that you HAVE to break, Bloodlust can't effectively build up either.

You can't break chase either, because any survivor with a brain stem will most likely try to run to the school first.

The game has sent me to Badham at least 6 times today, can you tell?

  • No wonder I why always got so many BS offerings from survivors

  • The whole map is basically one big loop it's brutal lol.

  • The killer can catch up after the second vault on the courtyard as far as I know.

  • The cars are mindgameable. The School is very strong, though I'd argue the Crotus Prenn and Grim Pantry main buildings are much worse.

  • Obviously you haven't seen the shack window into a window that leads to a strong loop on sanctum of wrath. theoretical infinite.

    I disagree.

    1. The window outside the school only gives you 2 safe vaults at most, and that second vault will likely get you hit.

    2. The car pallets outside the preschool don't actually spawn that often and aren't really that strong.

    3. Most the loops don't lead to the preschool as once the pallets outside the preschool are destroyed getting to the preschool in the first is challenging.

Though the two pallets that spawn in the preschool are quite the annoyance.

    It’s ridiculous isn’t it..

There’s a killer lair there (Freddy’s), and nothing about it is to the killers advantage AT ALL.

The only saving grace is that it has one of the more difficult basements to leave before the killer returns, if it happens to spawn there, AND IF the killer is fortunate enough to hook anyone there.

Adding onto this, if you go down in the basement of the school and the basement doesn't spawn there, it is extremely difficult to get the survivor out and onto a hook.

  • You know what's the worst thing about that loop? Is that in case you commit to the chase there is a tight corridor and a doorway on which you can be bodyblocked by other survivors when you are about to reach the one you were chasing and from there one of them can loop you around the school three times all over again.

Best advice you hear from survivor mains; let the survivor go. Yeah, a free escape. These loops are safe zones with little counterplay with some killer, unless you become paranoid and start running bamboozle on every build.

Breaking chase doesn't really work on a loop as consistently good as Badham, because when you find someone else, guess where they're going to run to first? Then you're back at square one.

  • There are far worse structures than the school IMO. Someone mentioned the Asylum which is still absurdly brokenly strong, and then there is basically any variant of Fractured Cowshed / Thompson House.

Haddonfield when I am someone like clown, makes me sad

  • Badham is a pretty balanced map imo. The cars around the school are mindgameable btw. The only problematic pallets are the three unmindgameable pallets in the preschool and in the small house with the basement.

It's a little survivor favored, there are just far worse maps. It's not that bad though, Haddonfield is worse imo..

  • I love Trapper on that map. So many traps.

  • Badham is my favorite map both as killer and survivor. I wish they' design all the maps in a similar way

I agree. Asylum is the worst loop in the game now. At least 4 safe pallets and 2 safe windows. Balanced Landing heaven (even though it's not that good now). Lots of places to hide. The loops here are so strong they can beat a Spirit in a chase by just dropping the pallet.

  • That map is horrible for every killer except Trapper And Hag (maybe doctor too)

Trick statement, all maps are bad for doctor. He is the doctor. xD

Well, since Haddonfield is a small map,he can get people crazy easier with his big terror radius uwu

  • The downstairs area to the preschool has 3 different ways to get down there, meaning often times if a survivor runs down there...you can follow their sounds from up top and hit em from a different direction than they were expecting.

  • Wait, I'm pretty sure the car loops at the outside of the school are all perfectly mindgameable. Also, I don't think you can really run around the window loop 3 times, it's not that strong in my experience. The two pallets in the school can be very strong though, that's for sure. But I feel like there are much stronger buildings in the game.

  • Both disturbed ward mains buildings and grim pantry are on the phone.

I disagree, you can get 1 - 2 loops on the picket fence if the Killer is far enough, and the loop is practically an infinite if you throw the pallet down like someone else mentioned.

I ironically just did this to a Legion, and after the window blocked I broke the only hook he had nearby just as the last gen poped. Poor fella felt so defeated he opened the gate and carried me out. :(

  • I'd still put *insert everything in Haddonfield including the fences* ahead of *insert anything in any Badham map here*.

  • I'd take Badham over Coldwind, autohaven, and Haddonfield any day of the week. Main building is strong until the pallets are gone.

  • Grim Pantry and Disturbed Ward are calling on the other line. If I never get Pantry again I’ll be a happy day.

I even believe that structures like Ironworks and Groaning Storehouse are worse.

The school is terrible and I avoid the school as much as I can but it’s not the worst by FAR.

Asylum is balanced now. Only BL was the problem, the Map is now killer-sided.

    @Topic:

The School is not that crazy. Sure, 4 Pallet Spots where 3 of them are pretty decent (the one in the Hallway is not that good), but you can catch up around the School.

And overall, every Pallet outside of a Building is highly unsafe and playable. If a Survivor decides to stay at one of those Pallets, they will get hit.

(If the Killer thinks it is smart to break every Pallet... Yeah, thats his fault)

Asylum is far from killer sided. It still has a bunch of very safe pallets in the main building. It's also a rather large map, meaning M1 killers struggle to apply pressure, and very open, meaning stealth killers struggle too. Coming back to this thread after cleansing my pallet with a few Autohavens, Badham definitely isn't the absolute worst, Crotus Prenn takes that, but it is still up there as one of the worst.

Guys, BL was the problem. Just accept it, I mean, why would the Devs nerf BL and not change such strong structures? Clear case in my opinion.

  • Nah, I dont, no worries.

But since people mentioned that BL was the problem with this structure(s), I like to bring it up in every thread.

Dude you can still loop a killer for an eternity at the ward. You don't need Balanced to do it.

Balanced Landing was a problem, but even without it the Asylum is really strong. Several strong pallets that in some cases have to be broken on top of a few strong windows.
