I do. I imagine a guy arriving, looking to all the grind he will need to get all perks from all chars and then uninstalling the game and googling "steam refund"

Freddy is loopable. Treat him like you would clown and it's fine.
Spirit yes Strider may be the counter to Iron Will but generally good spirits don't run Strider. I admit I also find Spirit annoying but she can beaten as long as you have a good team.
Iridescent head Huntress is definitely tough. A great huntress will definitely beat you but not all huntresses are great. Against huntress you shouldn't get hit with the hatchet once if your playing loops correctly, now she has two less hatchets.
My point overall is don't judge the game off "I'm playing solo, perkless against OP killers". Imagine if a killer playing perkless, add-onless came on here complaining about the swf teams that are "OP" and saying they are giving up. Don't think anyone would give them any sympathy.
Clown has finite bottles, Freddy don't. Freddy will not stop to recharge his blood tank. It changes everything in my opinion.
Solo queue. Not planning to SWF until crossplay is a thing.
I am not always well positioned, neither loop perfectly, so yeah, sometimes I get hits. I'm still trying to improve :3
Don't worry, I wasn't looking for empathy. All I wanted to say was: "It's saturday night and you killer guys are playing in a way that makes the game not fun for both survivors and yourselves" (((At least I don't like playing this way when I play killer...))) But who cares about everybody's fun, am I right? Just get the ez 4k and smile <3

Who said all swfs were sweaty. Me and my swf will always have a meme night (usually with drinks) where we play silly builds. Last weekend I got moried 4 times on the Saturday night and I just laughed it off. We had 3 Pigs in a row with Crate Of Gears and 2 with Jigsaw Sketch.
In terms of the "OP" killers they are all counterable. Freddy is a good killer but if you have a good team who knows how to loop he is pretty easy (especially with fake pallets).
Strider Spirit? Bring Iron Will.
Iridescent Head Huntress? It's annoying but she is still counterable.
Moris? They usually dc before they get their first hook. Don't go down, don't get moried.
Swf is just reliable teammates. Even meming is ok since you know each person can hold their own in a chase.
No good killer play pallet Freddy and I don't think he is loopable with snares.
Stridor is the counter to Iron Will, not the other way.
Iridescent head counterable? Isn't you logic freestyle going too far?

Eh, Freddy players aren't that sweaty. I usually play the bad killers because they are the most fun, (besides Oni, he is powerful).
So you think Freddy is weak? Interesting pov, but I think a killer that can't be seen from far when you are awake, destroys every loop effortlessly making you drop pallets earlier and than teleports to the other side of the map to pop the gen while staling the game with slowing down addons also effortlessly is pretty sweaty... He has mobility, either breaks chases faster or get pallets out of the game, slows gens progress by doing nothing with addons, what is his weakness again?

I'd suggest don't play perkless and play in swf if it bothered you that much. Theres only so much solo que a person can stand.
I don't want ez gen rushes with swf. I decided to play perkless because I wanted to improve as survivor. I wasn't complaining about dying, I was complaining about OP killers playing the most sweaty way making matches completely unfair. It's not necessary to use all mories and ultra rare addons on a saturday night. Everybody wants to have fun, not just the killer (if he really thinks playing this way is fun).
-
Survivor perks are also disgusting. They just don't have too much to work with since they have hundreds of perks already created...
-
they are trying to balance the game through challenges since it looks like they can't balance it by any other mean

So I tend to enjoy playing DBD with a friend or two due to when I solo queue I usually get bad teammates who won't do gens as I'm being chased, won't come get me off the hook, camp hatch, etc. But my friends and I aren't toxic, no flashlight saves, head on saves, we rarely get pallet saves (usually we're not working together in the same spot) and of course we don't bm or talk ######### in endgame chats.
I will say we're decently skilled but we only escape 10% of the time at most. We play like a normal survivor would expect we give each other occasional bits of info like "Hey I'm being chased" or "I know where the hex totem is", etc. And even though we play normally we usually get called toxic/ one of us gets face camped from the beginning of the game.
I'm just kind of curious as to what people's opinions are on non-toxic, relaxed SWF teams.
1. flashlight saves aren't toxic, neither head on saves
2. if you guys escape 10% of the time in a 3 man swf, you guys are probably not as skilled as you think you are and your teammates aren't that better than normal solo queue teammates I get lol

Perkless... that probably effects your matches a little.
yeah, probably the fact of playing perkless make me face only sweaty balls killers on saturday nights but not on the rest of the week. well noticed.

@YaiPa said:
yes, basically the only animation the game accept when you hit someone trapped is the downed animation. After the animation has ended the survivor is given back control, so he gets up and starts running.
This makes a bad perk even worse LOL

Imagine getting MoM to finally trigger and it gets wasted in that situation though 😂
This is exactly what happened. I didn't know he had MoM until this moment LOL. So disappointing, probably the first game he managed to activate this useless perk.
-
Yeah, it was a pretty odd situation: one guy was the obsession, than other stunned me becoming the obsession at the same time the third was blinding me also becoming the obsession lol

Depends on your rank...in red ranks this doesn't apply.
hm... I'm not really sure in what rank did it happen to me, but you may be right.
-
do you know you can get the adpet even with a 3k? :3
-
thana + sloppy. what do you expect? corner selfcaring? post here the other 371 matches you 4ked because of blendettes
-
By order of prestiging: Jake, Yui, Dwight, Meg (yesterday btw :3)
The next is going to be little clau <3
-
WHY SOME DBD PLAYERS are human
So, I'm curious :D
-
2+ gens or losing the killer
-
i couldn't disagree more. well done.
-
Matchmaking worked as intended. It tries to match you against people 6 levels from yours.
P.s. BRHU3HU3HU3
-
also, I got it on first try running iron will, urban evasion, fixated and sprint burst.
(about hag again) my girlfrined got this challenge playing against hag :'D
-
i'm here to laugh at you "hag too fast"
-
My last 4 grab attempts succeed and I got really surprised, I even wondered if they might have fixed this. I used to fail 75% of the grabs. Awesome!
-
"Monto (god-like)" LOL
-
It's different.
-
I'm on level 35, but I've already completed level 1 and 2 (except for legion challenges) and didn't redeem some of the challenges (saving BPs for next chapter.
-
It's not. I got it on first try. I used Discordance, Surveillance, I'm All Ears, Nurse's Calling and the addon that shows victims' auras after hitting with hatchet. You may use Bitter Murmur too if you don't have one of the Perks I used. I didn't try to win the match, only tried getting the long shots. It worked for me...

Hey if you ever need to find it then click on my name and it will lead you to the discussion. I was late last week because I forgot about it lol
You did well definitely mate. I'm happy I'm not the only person who thinks like this lol
I didn't use to do that because I had never thought about it, I started doing after seeing somebody else's post. Probably yours, thanks for the inspiration XD

Well, that's why i don't play solo. All the time i'm playing duo with my gf so i know i have someone to rely on the whole time.
I suggest you to find a buddy or someone to queue up with, solo is a pain in the arse.
When crossplatform arrives I'll be playing with my wife (ps4) but for now I'm fine playing solo queue. Most swf that invited me to play ended up being a bunch of toxic 15 years old that i rather not deal with...

I always create a discussion like this within half an hour of the challenges being released.
This is what I found to be the most optimal.

Maybe. Sounds like they died regardless of the Bill situation or not.
I don't think so. If they have healed me I would go for Bill and the killer would be busy tunelling Bill or trying to kill me instead of killing them. This could be easily a 1k game at best for the killer. Their potatoness made it an easy camping 3k.

@Mikeasaurus said:
I'm having the same thoughts but on killer side. I seem to get constant Red ranks that are literally dive bombing hooks, only to be downed, then to have another repeat the process. Even when they're all safe, they proceed to Self-Care 5 feet away from a hook. I mean, Red ranks playing like complete potatoes. I mean, I was playing Deathslinger, but he's not THAT scary to cause survivor brains to melt in fear, right?
This may happen because of the benevolent/save survivor challenges. People have been ruining everybody's game to complete challenges fast instead of playing the game
-
@Xzan said:
Smart choice to leave instead of feeding the killer a potential 4k. I see nothing wrong here.
That's not the point. This 3k could be a 0k if they had healed me and let me save the Bill.
-
4.6 gens average with 80% of the matches having selfcare? Impressive tbh
-
I made this challenge by finding the killer before he could find me and than I started following him, literally running in its back without being noticed. Red ranks btw LOL

The master challenge on the left with the red line.
You don't need to redeem that one
Edit: nevermind, I'm blind :p
Don't worry, as you can see by the black circle I've made the same mistake LOL

I try to do them all both survivor and killer
I mean doing all challenges without claiming all of them to save the BPs for next chapter.

@Respectfulnancymain said:
That's 2 wasted perk slots for deliverance its really not that powerful
in a 4 man swf it is more powerful than deliverance, since all 4 will be able to kobe. no prior unhook needed.
-
@NursesBootie said:
DS, BT, Unbreakable and DH/SB works against any killer. That's the problem.
dont tunnel, dont camp, dont slug, keep hunting. all of this perks have counters. amazing, right?
-
SWF isn't necessarily the problem. the problem is: survivors are the power role. if you get 4 solos that play well you will suffer. if you get a 4 man swf full of potatoes, you will destroy them like a bunch of blendettes. survivors will most of the time decide if the game is going to be easy, not the killer's skill by itself.

I see many people saying a minimum distance would balance this addon, but people keep forgeting… all maps are full of colissions betwen you and the survivor
true, this is why in some maps you can go better, in others not that well
-
I just had two games using iri heads, both trying only long shots. First I played really well, got a lot of snipes and 3k. Second on disturbed ward. No snipes, 0k, played really poorly. I think this addon could be balanced if it had a minimun distance, like deathslinger's iri coin

As a Feng Min main I actually prefer this. The blood kind of killed it for me, but it's mostly likely just a bug.
Also what do you mean charge? I thought it was a free event item for those that got it.
people who weren't playing by that time may buy it on the store
-
considering BHVR's apptitude for screwing every line of code people would end up with all perks at once on the very first patch launch. I bet you!

Even after hitting people with hatches they were still able to use exhaustion perks while they should be exhausted due to the addon
did it happen with more than one survivor in multiple matches? (otherwise it could be hackers)
