  • And also you shared your profile on the link. Just to know

And also does this only work on PC accounts because I am from ps4 and I can't find my profile

If it is once again console players should cry

  • I didn't know that this thing existed . Bhvr really needs to put this into the game itself

  • Yeah very mixed #########

Don't know what to tell about this thing. Bhvr really has this feature in the game for a 50 50 chance of hitting survivors

Don't know the logic behind it

  • My god spirit. Every teenager would be really happy about all of these cosmetics as someone said. Damn dude 😂😂

  • Guys not matter what bhvr does we only get auto miss

And auto aim is on all platform. You posted billions of comments about this damn

I am from ps4 and it happens a lot

I see pc players getting caught also

    Nintendo x box

    EVERYTHING. It's on every platform

And bhvr doesn't really care. Sometimes you are getting hits that should not hir and sometimes it can destroy your match

But when I am survivor killers never get caught by this damn auto aim. Only when I play killer. Fook

  • Yeah it's on every platform. Bhvr just want us to break our gaming setup

  • @ThatOneDemoPlayer said:

I wouldn't say nobody cares about the Perk reworks, they are meaningful.

Yes, aim dressing sucks and shouldn't exist

I mean some changes are necessary and some other completely dogshit but bhvr needs to prioritize some things and everyone knows it. And first of all this damn auto aim

  • @AarcvanDemen said:

You might as well revert the buff to Thana to its original state because this is just pathetic. Because Plague and Legion get to have use out of this perk doesn't mean that other killers have to suffer from it. What the hell is the point of using this unique perk on Nurse when it's originally designed for her? No reason whatsoever.

Please, rethink your balance choices, this is complete asinine.

    Totally complete

It was 5.5 per survivor but now is 2

    Just make it 3 dude

    Wth

  • Oh I see ok thxx

  • Yeah we can't compare spirit with pinhead. At least with spirit we can fully see it but for pinhead even his eyes can't see it damn

Like no one is even playing pinhead anymore. Everyone get him because of his perks but if they are people outside there (except from youtubers that buy every thing on the stire) just don't spend your money on ######### that is not very good or like that you don't see it when this is the only thing that you can see

Looks like the first round of post-patch balance tweaks are already announced! Going through them

Thanatophobia will be receiving a rework in the 6.1.2 Update: Each injured, dying, or hooked Survivor will now provide a 1/1.5/2% action speed penalty. If all four Survivors are either injured, dying, or hooked, Thanatophobia grants an additional 12% penalty to Survivors’ action speeds.

This change will make Thanatophobia nearly as potent as before if all Survivors are injured but will require more effort on the Killer’s part to get full value.

Interesting change. So basically it’s going back to a 20% max instead of 22%, and on top on that if only 1 to 3 survivors are injured it is much less effective. This will definitely make the perk less popular, how much it hurts Legion Thana or Plague Thana combos remains to be seen since that will depend on how often they have literally all four survivors injured during a match. (It’s a good chunk of a match typically but not 100% of the time.)

Taking 2 protection hits will now activate Mettle of Man, granting the Endurance status effect. While the Endurance effect is active, your aura will be revealed to the Killer when they are further than 12/14/16m away. Like other Endurance effects, performing a Conspicuous Action will cause it to deactivate prematurely, and it will not protect you from entering the dying state if you already have Deep Wounds.

With this change, Mettle of Man will now work exactly like other Endurance perks, forcing the Survivor to make a choice between saving their Mettle of Man and working on generators. Since this will make it a little weaker, we have reduced the number of protection hits required to compensate. The aura reading effect is also active immediately rather than after you heal allowing the Killer to anticipate Mettle of Man and plan accordingly. We believe these changes will make the perk both easier to use and more interesting to play around.

I’m not as up on Mettle of Man’s working as other perks but this definitely sounds like a nerf. Sorry Ash mains. 😞

However, this change caused an unexpected combination to appear. Since this new version allowed the Survivors to continue working on the generator, Merciless Storm would continue spawning an excessive amount of skill checks (nearly 40!) after the generator regresses.

To remedy this, we are restoring Pain Resonance’s generator interruption, though the Killer will still not receive a notification. This will cause Merciless Storm to no longer combo with Pain Resonance.

That said, this would bring back the combo of Pain Resonance and Dead Man’s Switch. Therefore, we’ll be reducing the duration of Dead Man’s Switch to 20/25/30 seconds in order to make the perk combo less oppressive than it previously was.

So good news for Pain Resonance overall, bad news for Dead Man’s Switch. It might be ok though, Dead Man’s Switch at 30 seconds still gives slowdown. 🤷‍♂️

In 6.1.2, this issue is now resolved, and The Clown will be available to play once again.

    Nuff said, yay!

Tome 12: Discordance includes all-new orange glyph challenges. We’ve seen some reports of motion sickness caused by the swirling VFX after interacting with these glyphs. Alongside the 6.1.2 Update, we will be temporarily swapping out these glyph challenges for a different one while we retool the visuals. If you’ve already completed this challenge, don’t worry; the challenge will remain completed! The orange glyph is expected to return with improved effects in the following update.

I didn’t experience the motion sickness issue personally but I get it. Glad they’re adjusting it.

Matchmaking Incentives reward you with additional Bloodpoints for playing whichever role is in demand at the time. When the Mid-Chapter launched, these incentives were not working as intended, granting 100% bonus Bloodpoints to Survivors at all times, including when there were more Survivors playing than Killers. This had an adverse effect on matchmaking: While Killer queue times were fairly quick, Survivor queue times skyrocketed. The system needed to be disabled after several hours.

We have investigated this issue and found the cause, but unfortunately it won’t make the deadline for the 6.1.2 Update. Matchmaking Incentives will be re-enabled on the 6.2.0 Public Test Build, then on the live version of the game if everything goes smoothly.

I’m a bit surprised the fix wasn’t simple enough to make it into the 6.1.2 patch, just goes to show you can never tell how complicated a bug is to resolve. Ah well, at least they figured it out. 🤷‍♂️

God thana now is more trash than this game even . Make it 3% dude come on

Those kinda sales aren’t usually announced beforehand and I think it’s unlikely that we get one those month (usually this happens around the anniversary or Halloween I think..)

but i guess it’s always possible?

usually it’s cheaper to buy the chapter instead of the characters for auric cells btw, especially if you want all characters from a chapter (of course that would be different with sales)

Yeah I have mixed up the killers and survivors and I purchase the killer from one chapter but not the survivor or the opposite and it's cheaper to pay 5 euros instead of 8 for a character that I already have

Thx for telling for when this happens though

  • @PapaQuintus said:

-Survivors disconnecting / suiciding on hook because they don't want to adapt (Hopefully BHVR are harsher on disconnecting, even if it's unintentional. Other games have a 30 minute penalty, while DBD only has 5 minutes). Even though i do not agree with every change in this update either, but there are no reasons to DC and make the game miserable for everyone else.

-Camping / Tunelling is a problem, that needs to be adressed (My idea for camping is to make the hook timer pause, while the killer is within a certain proximity of the hooked survivor and they are NOT in a chase within that proximity. This means that the killer has NO REASON to be within a radius of that survivor, if the killer is not engaged in a chase. Regarding tunelling, make it so that the unhooked survivor is invincible for a period of time, so that they can neither be hit, or take bodyblock hits.)

-Decisive Strike nerf is too harsh. 3 Seconds is NOTHING, especially against a blight, nurse or spirit. Disabling it during endgame was a huge nerf in itself, and there is no need for a decrease in the stun time.

-BHVR wanted to shake up the meta, but now the survivor meta is anti-tunelling builds.. what happened to shaking up the meta?

-Solo queue is in the worst position it has ever been in. Not only because of survivors disconnecting 50% of the time every game within 20-30 seconds, but also because of the camping and tunneling.

I would like to hear the community's thoughts on this, and if they have any other opinions / ideas regarding the patch.

I've seen this a lot " if the killer is not in a chase" for fixing the camping thing but wag about if a survivor is hiding there or he is doing th trick with the window that he ends chase and he can vault it over and over gain.

  • Thx

I also spectate this touruber a lot because he is showcasing every new thing but this one when I searched it on yt it didn't show it but now that I searches it gave a hundred videos with this that are like since the ptb was running

  • Yeah

It can can also be because of gens but this patch changed the whole way dbd is played. And by the next patch behaviours think that we will probably forget these changes and focus on the new killer map survivor etc BUT NO

In all the games there is some ######### that is overpowered. The devs wanted to make the difference ? But again even with these perks if a survivor is good and he loops you forever then you can't do anything or brand new parts are used or sabo or flashlights

I don't know anymore with this game and how it is going to be

  • @Laluzi said:

Look... I consider myself pretty even-keel. I avoid sensationalism and claims of DBD's imminent death, or the assurances that players are quitting a role in droves. Even now, I don't think DBD is in danger so much as it's... in a messed-up spot that needs to be addressed. And I've held that killers have needed buffs for a while; I was very excited for this patch. But after a week and a half of it... I'm done playing DBD for now.

Killer queues are way too long to bother with. The only way I can deal with it is to start reading something or watching a video in another window, and by the time I find a match, I'm already invested in what I'm doing in the other tab. Playing killer does feel good right now, yeah. I don't feel as beholden to slowdowns as I used to be, and breaking pallets mid-chase feels much less punishing, though the bloodpoint gain absolutely sucks compared to what it used to be. STBFL, Eruption, and Thana probably need to be toned down, and Ruin was overnerfed, but overall I'm happy with that experience... when I actually get to play it.

Survivor, though? Hoo #########' boy. My survivor games are a mess. Half my games, someone quits at the start. Just... full stop. Doesn't matter who I'm facing (though thana Legion/Plague all but guarantees it) or what map I'm on; flip a coin, and if it lands tails, the first guy down quits. So automatically I'm losing 50% of my games. The other 50%, I'm still losing, because stacked slowdowns are everywhere, camping and tunneling are rampant and completely unmitigated by the basekit measures or the fact that it's less necessary than it ever was, and the low escape rates are causing my teammates to play less altruistically.

I think this might be the most evident issue (or at least second to the "everyone is effing ragequitting" in first.) Far too many survivors stop contributing and go straight to planning for hatch as soon as anyone dies, and being the guy in chase when endgame starts is a death sentence because most survivors are taking their rare E instead of risking it for a lategame save. As soon as the gates are powered, they're out of there. I've even been left behind when I've been hooked right next to the door and the killer was occupied! And MMR doesn't care if you make it to the very end or if you die at 5 gens, so there's nowhere to go but down. I'm also seeing an increase of survivors playing like idiots and playing in ways that maximize their points but ensure that everyone dies - chasing killers to hooks and immediately hook trading, repeatedly dumping the killer onto teammates on gens, spamming boons even when it's Plague/Legion, doing bones even with Pentimento. Whether that's a result of my MMR tanking due to increased deaths or just the defeatism setting in across the survivor population, it's been a nightmare.

I escaped 3 out of about 20 games when I last played a few days ago, and 2 of those games were with farming killers. It's that bad. It was god-awful when the patch first dropped, started to get better for a few days, and then tanked hard again and shows no signs of improving. I have never felt this angry at everyone I'm playing with and this frustrated with the game, and it's just not worth it anymore.

I feel like SWF is genuinely the only way to play survivor right now. Coordination aside (and its benefit in dealing with some of the new killer meta perks), it's the only way to get teammates who don't throw the game. So as someone who plays solo... I've had enough of the frustration. It's time to play something else for now. Wake me up when they announce solo information buffs or do some more rebalancing.

First of all in my country (greece) in morning I get survivor queues in 20 seconds and killer in like 8 minutes but at night survivor queues are impossible and killer is less than 1 minute so don't know why you always vant get killer but whatever patch this game gets this think always works for me

  • @FridayNightPizza said:

A quick artist tip cause I've been playing her a bit, what I like to do is shortly after the match starts send crows to the three furthest generators, can usually force one or two survivors off and it's good information. She's one of my new favourite killers since I started playing her so don't be discouraged, she's a lot of fun!

Yeah I did that today . She is very fun for me but not for the survivors :)

  • Oni is a strong killer if you know how to snowball and with the properate perks can be very easy

And because I see a lot of people struggling to get their power you can use spowdown so that gens don't pop at the start of the trial that much

But one personal problem I have with oni is that his time in blood fury is very short . And I am not talking about walking in the map with the power activated because everyone when has his power on will go into demon dash and run around the map and because that's consumes a lot of his power I think this should consume less or extend the duration for his base kit (not the add ons)

I played oni in the past and I think that his power was activated for a much longer time but now it's very short. I don't know 🤷‍♀ . I might have used some add ons

And also if you have survivors that hold w or throw down every pallet at the start if the match and you can't get your power then it's just gg because oni must get his power as fast as possible because his map pressure is 0

  • But what if the killer has sth to do in that 20 meters range (kicking gens, totems etc,) or a survivor is nearby and he is chasing him

    This is not that good

Plus that in 5 seconds the killer can't go away 20 meters (I think) but maybe yes

Remember when BHVR said that BBQ was only used for the bloodpoints? Yeah turns out that's not exactly the case. Which would be obvious if they even played their own game. It's obvious when someone has bbq because they always come straight at you even if you are just off a gen coming in for an unhook. I bet the pick rate of bbq barely even moved after the "nerf". So since we are supposed to change the meta and all can bbq get a real nerf now that people are realizing which should have been obvious? BBQ is an insanely strong perk for anyone with movement and even killers without movement.

I didn't even read what you wrote . Just from the title I understand. What bhvr needs to do is to bring back the bps bonus. Because for WGLF they added something new so that's why they removed the bonus but for bbq they just removed without seth new or buffed

  • @ShinobuSK said:

    I only get Auto miss

What would you all think of a more... permanent (or at least longer lasting) PTB where they upload smaller changes like small perk reworks (or small batches of changes, but not as big as the ones we normally see) to see how the community handles it? A LITERAL PTB, so to speak.

This would probably require the whole "needing to install another client again" to be fixed, but it would allow for longer testing of ideas without directly messing with the 3 months schedule plus they wouldn't have to worry about console update fees being a problem if they could just update a single PTB instead. We could test more overall perk reworks and give more feedback.

And I'm not sure about this, but if the PTBs are English only until they go live, then maybe that would save time on needing to translate updates when they go live because they could test changes on the PTB and snipe bad updates before they go live.

I think that if we want consoles to try this out also . They should out these small changes to beta

  • I think that you understand what I mean and I an definitely sure that annoys you that you can't see the exact level PLUS that you can't see the levels in the character name below the rank . I forgot to mention that. Bring that back also :)

This I like (without P3 Icon).

The whole OG weekly event is not good imo.

Thx . I knew this "event" wasn't that good but ok. I think that I should make a new discussion on feedback about the portrait because the level on the circle isn't that accurate

  • S03_charSelect_portrait.png

I sais that i would put an image so...

of course this is edited but this is exactly how i thought it but the images should be more accurate. also the circle around the prestige level should be removed since i have putted the number which is way more understandable because now you must go on your character to see the exact level.

even if no one cares i just putted it to give an example and maybe an idea for bhvr if they want to put it in the live game . but i think that this image wihtout the prestige icon would be better ...

  • It seems that it wasn't good 😂 I definitely understand it but at least I wanted an opinion or at least a comment. It's ok...

  • @Sluzzy said:

BHVR actually did it. A perk in a horror game that is supposed to be used to dodge a hit was actually nerfed into uselessness. A perk that required immense skill in situations that required precise timing against many things that could cause it not to work (ie. server lag, killer connections). It is not fun to use now.

90 seconds to repair gens is not something survivors need or want to do. It is not fun to sit 90 seconds. Constantly nerfing survivors because of bad killers is causing the survivor role to be very unattractive and I opened the game today to play one game and clicked quit. 100% bonus points to lose against an overpowered killer is not enough incentive to play as survivor.

3 second stun against a Nurse, Huntress, or Blight is basically nothing. Any person disagreeing including BHVR needs to play survivor against one of these killers only one time to know. Decisive Strike and all of its silly deactivation conditions might be fun for killers but you feel very cheated as survivor and it is not fun. A 1-time use perk shouldn't be that weak. There is hardly any tools for survivors to use their skill and improve upon. Escaping is impossible against a killer that knows what to do.

Excellent killers do not have any issues winning an overwhelming majority of their matches. Balancing around very bad killers is not good for DBD.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/4UQCXODID25J/image.png

Yeah when I play survivor I always get the most sweaty of the sweatiest killers that wants that 4k nomatter what but when I play killer I am getting trokeed to hell. Anyway I totally agree with what you said .good old dbd was way more scary and better .literally everything changed with this update. At least we have some new tiles on the Macmillan maps

  • Bhvr must be joking. I also posted this monyhs ago and it happens in every game for literally 5-8 months .ok.....

  • My god. I am feeling so weird now

All the videos I've seen with these killers and everytime I played with them it hasn't happened. Only on ptb I saw it 😅

(Almost 700k hours killer main here) So i decided to switch from killer main to survivor main for a week and dbd has been much fun lately. My heart isn't pounding through my chest from the stress of playing killer, 4 people aren't taunting me, i'm not irritated of the second chances survivors get, it's been a much chill experience. Hell even losing as survivor is fun, cuz atleast i don't get 4 people rubbing it in my face "hey you lose, we win". Now the problem is, i don't wanna go back to playing killer at all, why stress my ass off playing killer in this survivor sided game when i can actually have fun as survivor? Gaming is supposed to be fun anyways. So to the killers mains who switched to being survivor mains, did you guys go back to playing killer? Or stuck to survivor?

What do you mean bro. Survivor is also stressful. My heart is going out whenever I get chased because I have so many options in a chase and I can't decide ways to do. But at the end everything is ok. So yes survivor is more stressful than killer. And as killer you always have to see this message "gg ez, noob, loser etc" Both ps4 and pc. But pc more

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2914629#Comment_2914629

I can't edit the writing, but it's meant to be an action speed buff.

You're not usually going to initiate a chase and get on an objective within 10 seconds of seeing the killer - so the perk is situational if you want to start a chase and finish a 98% gen, but is primarily useful for getting a 18% faster vault once the chase starts.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. So long as the killer is under its affects. Which means you instantly know if they have NOED and would see them during the end game.

    Sure!

You're on a generator and you hear heartbeat. Instead of hearing it omnidirectionally, it tells you that the killer is on your left.

As it draws closer, you begin to understand that the killer - while you cannot see them - is probably coming around the wall, simply because the direction of the audio is very close and you can determine where they are coming from.

If you lose the killer in chase, though, you hear their terror radius omnidirectionally until you're out of the loop for a few breaths.

If the killer is 32-24 meters away, you only know the vague direction they are approaching from (Left, Right, Behind, etc.) but when they are very close (within 16m) you basically have audio wallhacks. If you have a good headset, you can tell exactly which way the killer is moving on the other side of a wall - but the second chase starts, you're going to have to wait until you're stealthy again to find use out of it again.

Ok. That's very useful I think for killers that play a lot of mindagmes or other stuff like this before they start a chase.

    Thx for explaining

  • At the 1st one you write this perk can't be activated in a chase. But you also when it's active and you are in a chase the bonusses are doubled. You mean for the remain of the time that is left? + I think that with no cooldown this perk can be kinda of overpowered. (I think)

At the 2nd one you mean until the haste is gone?

The 5th one is meh. And can you give an example of it?
