To scold is to remonstrate with or rebuke (someone) angrily. I rebuked your original statement, but did so civilly. There was nothing angry or egregious about it. Please, don't accuse me of things I haven't done. Thanks, bud.
It really do be kind of hard to convey emotions from behind the ScrEEns. (Pun intended) I just read everyone's comments with a seven-year-old voice. The point is, you can't convey emotions through the internet, unless you use really specific vocabulary. But starting out a paragraph stating "you can't" really isn't gonna help your specific vocabulary, telling my mind to read yours in the "FEMALE PARENTAL FIGURE AND/OR GUARDIAN" voice.

My dud (Dead Ooo tuber), this may go against the no arguing rule of the thread, but, don't you realize that tunneling off hook and camping restrict gameplay for that survivor? Plus, you're at looking the other people not being camped, not the others who will take advantage of that? You can get Decisively Strucken at, you're stunned for 5 seconds, so what. Instaheals were nerfed for a reason, but perks and items cannot be abused like a PLAYSTYLE. Getting cucked by a perk will never ever stop you from getting kills unless you're in the rare situation where you tunneled at hatch or the exit gates, which at that point, you were BOUND to lose.
Nevermind ab the no arguing part, that was a recent thread I viewed

I don't recall saying I was offended; but okay. Put words in my mouth, lol
I don't recall putting words in your mouth, as I directly quoted you. But that's avoiding the topic, it seems you were confused. I took offense at the fact you scolded me for my opinion.

You can't say that a person getting on someones nerves/bothering them is toxic. That's too wide of a spectrum to go by. Way too many are offended and bothered on different levels by different, and often inconsequential things. Offence is taken, not given.
I'm sorry for expressing my opinion on a forum in which someone asked of it. But you know what you say "offense is taken not given."
Also, double post.

How is tunneling, camping, and mori even considered toxic?
If survivors use med-kits with "Styptic Agent" or "Syringe", or purple/pink key, do they consider as toxic too then? What about swf? There's a reason why there's no in-game chat, you know.
Tunneling and camping are tactics killers just chose to do it that game. If killer camps then run gens and get out. Campers usually get 1-2 kills anyways. And they don't improve on looping and searching survs and late game tactics. Because of those whiners, devs made you guys DS and borrowed time. Why not use it instead of whining more?
Tunneling is actually crucial as playing killers. In order to kill all survs, you have to effectively hook survivors, not just a random dude each time. Killers don't have to play "for" survivors. They have their own goals, which is to kill survs. If survivors call it "toxic" because killers are trying to kill you, well then, might as well just go play Minecraft or something. This game isn't for you.
There are so many fresh new survivors, which is good. But they start playing it recommended by their friends (which ends up SWF). And those old players teach them the wrong way, such as camping is bad because "I can't save my friends", instead of saying, "it's whatever that killer decides to do." And they pass on the BM to another new players, and so on. This is just a bad cycle of new players.
Blame survivors who won't run gens, and searching chests when they have to save survivors, and get so scared and do nothing, instead of blaming killers who are doing what they are supposed to be doing.
I'm so sad about how low mindset na server survivor users have.
Learn to improve your own skill sets (hitting great skill checks, looping, pallet stuns, flashlight saving, etc), rather than typing BM to killers.

A person who's wish is to upset another. They get on the other's nerves, and really bother said person.

I like the concept, a killer who can apply pressure can really devastate a good team, but it is limited by the Hex part of the ruin

A lot of "the killer side" was complaining how ruin would always pop instantly. So the same people are complaining that a perk which allowed them to have three perks the entire match got nerfed? This neo-ruin has a lot of potential with al ot of builds.
-
In every conversation including either keys or moris, people manage to add the opposing item to the conversation. What does it matter anyway? Both have work to it (even if it is little) and what does it matter if that is what you experienced one game.
-
I don't remember asking ruin to be nerfed, does anybody else remember asking for a Nerf?

Cue the rave music bois

Best perk out there. You are potatoes if you didn't pick no mither. With a forever injured state anti-slug budget iron will with hardly anyone who doesn't counter it, no mither is top of the line perk.
-
I've seen this firsthand. Especially with tampered timer and jiggyboi draws
-
I doubt anyone will leave because of a meta perk. It's still pretty good anyway (besides the HEX part of the ruin.)

Can't be bothered to buy a dlc when I could just get the three perks from the shrine.

You use Deliverance, I am in front of the hook.
You Dead Hard from there, I anticipate it and hit you anyways.
DS still at the ready? Wait out the timer.
Hatch is nearby? Close it.
Adrenaline? Bait out the Dead Hard again and down you anyways.
Conclusion? This would all just be a waste of time for everyone involved.
Bait out the dead hard after adrenaline? Not to be that guy tho...

Our community needs a big boom. Something that'll bring in casuals and competitives, horror and non-horror. We need to expand our fanbase, instead of "fixing" old things like ruin. It's just a mindless cycle.

I think it actually takes away from the enjoyment most of the time, like Ill think we just had a really good game and rather I killed them or not ill send someone who did really good a "ggwp" but half the time theyre already sending me a message telling me to go ######### myself and how im trash. Win or lose it doesn't matter the reaction is normally the same
But when they deserve it....yeah that salt is pretty sweet lol
Hmm... Salt... Sweet? I cannot make connection. Salt is salty.

What if every time a totem is cleansed, it moves to a full totem in the area? Then cleanse those newly hex totems until you reach the last totem. (This is a disguised nerf for noed.)
-
Ima just be that one guy that says "IF KEY GO MORI GO. SIPATICO(which isn't simple in Es Pan Yole btw.)"
In all seriousness, people who have an argument about saying hatch is a sucky addition, I feel it's for that one solo surv Viv vor dat ran the killer around for ten mins while three blendettes sat the corner warping out of existence.
But what about SWF? You may axe. Your friends could be potatoes with sticks and motors attached walking around in that repetitive *whhaa whhay whwoa* every time they take a step.
What if you just did bad? Then you don't deserve it. In that situation, you sucked and got a free escape after watching your teammates do work. Maybe something like a person in specific does x amount of gens or has x amount of match points.

With the upcoming Ruin changes it's completely overdue that Decisive Strike will no longer be this annoying crutch that it is right now. I know it's supposed to be an "anti tunneling perk" and I dont mind if I get hit by hit because I immediately chased the unhooked person... but what I do mind hard is if I get hit by it because a survivor did some cocky stuff right in front of my face like repairing a generator a minute after he got unhooked already.
The changes this perk needs to turn it into a true anti tunnel perk are simple:
- activation timer from 60 seconds to UNLIMITED
- DS gets disabled immediately if the unhooked survivor 1) got fully healed, 2) touches a generator, 3) sabotages a hook, 4) cleanses a totem or 5) heals another survivor
This perk is not an anti tunneling perk atm. It's basically a "you are a god for 1 minute now. enjoy." perk
Only number 1, it doesn't have to deactivate under all of those circumstances, it would just take you away from doing any actions at all, if you want to get a use out of DS.
-
@AvisDeene said:
It is a bad perk because it basically requires you to have another perk to make it useful. Perks should be useful on their own, not require perquisite perks.
You're right. Take for instance self care no mither. Best build in the game, and they are inseparable. By themselves, they aren't very strong. I hope they fix those among other things.

Its not just Killers who are upset though.
Those of us who main Survivor but aren't completely biased know this change is being made for nonsense reasons.
You like the changes and, honestly, you should ask if you should be happy about that.
I use to HATE the doctor, but I learned and now he's cake. He's only strong against new players. Making him weaker against them but not making him stronger overall is a very bad move and even a new player should be able to see that.
I agree but honestly the changes seem fairly reasonable except for the hex part and absolutely no real reasoning behind it. But I can personally play games without Bex Buin cuz piggy wiggy slow gen down just a little bit.

These past few days I've noticed some people making idea posts and concepts for fnaf and I wanna know why? I feel as if DBD isn't a type of game that needs fnaf especially not a killer like springtrap because what's his weapon going to be? If there's any need for a concept use FNAF4 that's a "nightmare" hehe get it? Btw JoJo Siwa for killer!
My dude, his weapon do be a springlock crank doe.

The Jerry cans could put the gen down to negative 10 seconds?
You never really mentioned if more than one Jerry can could fuel a gen or ate or.
Also the action REPAIR a gen or ate or. Not fuel it with the magical has that comes out of your fingers. What gave you the concept of Jerry cans? (Although that's just ripping on what you choose as a secondary objective.)
Lastly, there are seven total gen or ate ors, so there should be seven cans instead of five.

" It is not hard to hit great skillchecks in DBD. "
tell that to most of my red rank random teammates that cant hit great skillchecks even if that would save their lives xd and i can only imagine what is with ruin on ranks below 15 (yes killers on those ranks are using ruin)
"They're taking one of few things the killer has to slowdown the game which was Ruin."
there is plenty of slowdown perks right now xd and you should pick 1 that suits the most to your playstyle not 1 that is most op of them
"Are you serious? what about adrenaline? that requires no effort from the survivors and that's getting nerf. What about keys as well? they require no effort as well and still give the survivors powerful effects. "
finishing game (5 gens) = no effort, i dont see you typing noed needs no effort (but noed and adrenaline has counterplay and you can make so they wont be used in game)
and imo keys and moris are in their plans but i dont know what takes them so long with that
I'm not in red ranks but can confirm, randoms cannot hit skillchecks.

I mean piggy wiggy has the power to have the snewt bewpd, but doesn't love George the Demogorgon?
In all seriousness, I like pig better because while lacking in map pressure, it PUNISHES survivors for doing the objective, and, including teachables, punishes for being altruistic, too.
Make ur choice really do be good on George.
-
Just because there wasn't something about survivior's getting nerfed in the patch notes doesn't mean they have a bias. Our overlord and saviors at BHVR care about both roles because they both play an important part in how the game functions.
Reading the post made me feel you had a sense of entitlement.

it may take over a year for freddy to be reworked, months for legion to be "fixed," and matchmaking may never work properly, but you can be certain new cosmetics are always on time
Stuff like this take time and money, and possibly discussion with the owner of said franchises. It takes lots of time to code, too. You can't expect content that you like or even fix the game. It's not easy being a game dev.

There was a ruin change?

The thing about this game is that you have many different levels of players and certain things seem OP, depending on your skill level. New players will hate Ruin, NOED, and BBQ, but experienced players don't have issue with it. Where a normal game is balanced at the top level of play, BHVR seems to balance around the average. This can be an issue when you get top level players, because they exploit the things that are supposed to be there to help the lesser players.
My main issues come in with a lack of reasonable counter play. DS with the doors open has no counter play. Head on has no counter play. 90* flashlights have no counter play. These things by themselves aren't strong and are great for solo, but when they get in the hands of a strong SWF team, it's insanely overpowered.
Overall, the game isn't in a terrible state balance wise. A tweak here or there and it could be solved.
I kinda disagree with the DS, but it may be because I suck at skillchecks, but Unnerving Presence really does me in (with DS, of course.)

Pig and Goatface.
Not that they necessarily prevent anything, but they help me to cope with tbaggers, cuz I will tbag back.

@Dehitay said:
Are you telling me that after survivors fail at their primary objective and then the last survivor fails at the 2nd chance to escape, that their 3rd chance to escape is only 16%? Damn, that's incredibly unfair. Obviously, the logic that 50% chance escape on primary objective, 25% chance on 2nd, and 12.5% chance on 3rd would be the most direct path will have to be ignored for the sake of this conversation cause there's no room for logic here.
How dare survivors have such a small chance to escape and deny killers a 4K after the killer has played the game far better than the survivors and clearly doesn't deserve to be rewarded for it?! I think we need to install a 4th chance for survivors to get out in order to make this fair.
I know this is sarcasm but I don't know which side you are being sarcastic toward. This is the first time I've ever been confused by sarcasm.
-
I saw more comments about NOED rather than the actual point of the discussion, discussing what gets buffed and or nerfed.
It kinda proved my point doe.
