I would say Rancor but a few seconds before gen is finished? Because of bug reasons?
Rancor doesnt read your aura, its more of a notification.
So the most likely answer is that its a bug
-
Apparently removing hook grabs and the upcoming self unhook anti camp mechanic wasnt enough?
At least try harder next time.
-
The easiest and most fitting rework would be to make it do its intended use.
Make Sabotage harder, aka, nerf sabotage speed.
-
Blight and Spirit pretty much.
Blight's are just powerful while Spirit's makes her auto-mode.
-
I for once, im glad i dont have to consistently remind myself that this perk exists, it feels SO GOOD to be able to lunge without worry again
-
This perk is awful to go against, specially with Resilience, it shoudlnt exist

Buffing killers like trapper and Myers is like taking a shortcut over an earned skill ceiling of certain killers like nurse, blight, Billy, Wesker, Huntress, Oni, Spirit etc that can actually do somthing against good swfs with their power..
Not saying Myers is particularly demanding, but Trapper does require quite a bit of planning due to how he plays, sure, he is easy to play, but Trapper does require good knowledge of the maps, and learning how to use his traps in the most effective way possible to get value out of them.
Regardless, if a killer is weak, it should get buffed.
-
He could also use a graphical update, hes one of the oldest killers after all, being the very first licensed one, his age shows.
-
Color me surprised, who would have a though that a perk that gives a permanent speed boost for just being injured would be an issue...
Seriously, they gotta tweak this perk, and Hope is a close second, yeah its endgame, doesnt matter, its a permanent WAY stronger speedboost, just for finishing the gens, not even opening the gates.

no idea if its adding to the total progress but its counting every personal progress in the end match screen
Probably a bug since the challenge isnt actually completed.
-
I feel im going crazy, everyone talking about this Balance Changes Vote or whatever on the survey that I DID, but never saw such vote or question.
Anyway, for nerf, Blight.
Buff, probably Trickster, his movement speed is hardly justified unlike other ranged killers.
Rework, Hag, shes awful to go against, and her pickrate makes it obvious not many even like to play her.

Yea controller is a struggle on blight… I wish you console players could experience M&K on blight.
I mean, flinging the mouse to the other side of the room is better than dealing with the auto aim on console, or doing any flick motion.
Trust me, i played on both platforms and it was SO MUCH better once i moved on to PC.
-
What Vote? what did i miss?
Also, his Hug Tech shouldnt be a thing, other than that, yeah his addons.
-
Outsmarting him essentially, ive play him plenty (hes my main, fight me bruh), so ive seen what people do to deal with him, and thats, outsmart him.
Predict where he will set up a guard, if they make a particularly long patrol, thats A LOT of distance you can gain if they mess up, keeping track of which guard he has can also be useful, specially when its Carnifex.
And yeah, thats what i do myself when facing him, remember he cant see you during patrol, hes like Spirit, but without the scratchmarks, only the sound and bloodpools.
And contrary to popular belief, he sucks at camping, his guards are just for scare, since touching the hooked person makes them disappear.
-
Same here, ive used an invitation mid chase multiple times and got nothing.

Survivor base speed – 4.0
Killer base speed (mostly) - 4.6
Survivor with MFT - 4.12
0.12 is 1/5 or 20% from 0.6
or 33% with 4.4 killer
definately not broken
Did you add hitbox size difference into that equation mate?
Yeah, though so.
Holding W wont do much, looping tightly on the other hand... this perk is stupid, even more if you pair it with things like Resilience, making loops even stronger.
-
It actually takes like 2 secs for the pallet to break by using the Invitation, its not instant.

check your spam
Checked it, nothing there, i got nothing, and many havent either.
-
I think the perk is fine for what it is honestly.
-
They could save us a lot of trouble with reports and many MANY other issues if they made a replay feature.
-
You can still get it (unless its actually bugged), you just gotta have the perk equipped, and heal yourself with whatever the hell else, like a medkit or Self Heal.
-
Even a weaker version would be welcomed, cause yes, hes almost crippled without it.
-
Can confirm as well, didnt got anything.

And survivors can do something op with Power Struggle builds. I already saw some people are doing it tho. You can put dream pallet and you can make killer lose a lot time on you.
Plus Hubris works only when you stun killer, yes? So pre-dropping will help when you know they have this build.
I don't know why both sides complaining that much. BHVR is trying make events more fun with new mechanics. And plus event is just for limited time. A lot bp, some chaotic new mechanics. I am enjoying so far.
You might as well not even drop the pallet, cause predropping does absolutely nothing, since the pallets breaks instantly on its own.
Its either a stun or nothing.
I dont think anyone is really complaining about Hubris though, if anything its about the exposed bloodlust i heard about, which is pretty cheesy

I mean i can't even do the random perk challenges (it won't give me random perks at all).
Try unequipping all your perks before hand.
-
Like mentioned, the guards can see through the little holes/cracks of walls, shack in particular is usually filled with these.
-
Its pretty much impossible if the Bubba knows what hes doing, or the team has the correct tools (flash save for example)
Right off the bad, anyone that attempts the unhook goes down, thats just unavoidable, so yeah, Bubba is so far the only killer that can really secure a sacrifice by camping, most others can screw up or is possible to save with coordination, him? nope.
-
Yeah i also noticed this, give the man his hair back.
-
I heard that removing your perks beforehand might make it work
-
Same thing happens with the killer variant, its impossible to complete the challenge
-
Hoarder was changed so it no longer works on killer items, like Lament Configuration or First Aid Sprays.
The same goes for Franklin's
-
Around 1.5 mil i think, i was gonna go for 2 mil but i got lazy.
-
Yeah.... Solo Q is still a mess, you can be more self efficient with the buff of the Survivor Icons they added a while ago.
But overall, cant fix incompetent teammates.
If you really want teammates that know what theyre doing, SWF is your only choice.
-
If you wanna take away all of that then we also gotta seriously look at Gen Rushing, God windows and pallets, Toolboxes, gen perks, etc.

I do not have an answer to that, I'm afraid, hopefully it's something that can be done in the future.
RIP
-
Worth mentioning that The Game is arguably Knight's best map, even without a gen regression build, he can dominate there.
-
@Rizzo said:
I'm going to reiterate this, since it seems like people are misunderstanding the situation: Wesker won't be re-enabled for the START of the event, because there is not enough time for the fixes.
This, however, does not mean he won't be enabled during the event, as Mandy explained here:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3459517#Comment_3459517
Just a question, but why isnt it possible to at least have access to the character's bloodweb and customization?, not me specifically, but im pretty sure most Wesker mains would at least like to be able to get some Cakes for him.
-
They shouldnt have bothered when its a complete joke with how it "works"
-
SM has no real chase power beyond that, besides making herself undetectable inside her drones or addon buffs.
And for starters, youre dealing with 4 survivors, even one taking a bit longer to catch can greatly hinder your chances of winning the match, if not outright lose you the match.
And the most important fact, hitboxes, Survivors have a smaller hitbox than the killer, which makes them able to run around loop tighter than the killer, which means that a haste buff is quite significant for them.
Besides, MFT can be paired with other perks, most notably, Resilience which makes vaults fasters, making the chases way stronger for them, then we can also add other Haste effects, such has Hope or Blood Pact, and the survivors is essentially impossible to catch.
Made for This is just a horribly designed perk that punishes M1 killers greatly, and 110% even more, specially Trickster.
-
Several old challenges could use a rework or nerf tbh, Tome 1 in particular has some really stupid ones.
Like repairing 4 gens in a single match, or getting 4 basement kills.
-
Like Mandy said, some months ago, Nurse was nerfed so her Blink Attacks now count as Special Attacks, which means that any perk that requires Basic Attacks like all of the Exposed ones or Sloppy will no longer work with her power.

I agree for a 'favourite' option. Every Nemesis addon is total waste beyond Marvin's Blood, in all honesty. Some have niche uses but ultimately none really improve my experience consistently beyond that one addon. I do not see why I shouldn't be able to get more of that just to make Nemesis not be an addonless wet rag with no variety.
I would say this should stop at green rarity. We don't need more purple and red spammers.
Could make it so the Bonus is less effective the higher the rarity rather than outright negate it for Purple and Red.
-
Surprisingly i havent ran into a lot of salty streamer, maybe one or two at best, one was KINDA warranted since i took advantage of an afk (i had a killer daily to deal with ok?), cant really remember the other.
It was months ago.
-
I agree, being able to just buy the addons you want would be a blessing, they could also add the ability to "Favorite" an addon or two and increase their chances of appearing in the Bloodweb.
Could make it so you have to P3 that character or something to unlock that function, idk.

Hope definitely doesn't gets shutdown by non-m1s, but yeah that perk is not a problem.
It's like a killer perks that activates on last two survivor remaining, at that point it doesn't really matter how strong killers are, they basically won.
Well that perk will start to become a problem if they add stuff like MFT.
It was already questionable that they made it last forever considering how significant the speed boost is

I've always thought indoor maps just don't really work in DbD. Half the killer roster struggles to use their power in an indoor setting. And a lot chasing a good player involves cutting them off and not following in straight lines. It takes M1 killers a year to catch up to me on Midwich. You can't really do that the way indoor maps are laid out. Indoor maps trade gameplay for aesthetics and only favor a very small portion of the killer roster. I don't like them, and I always audibly groan when I get one.
Yeah, Lery’s in particular screws up most killers, Wesker, Huntress, Trickster, Oni, Billy, Bubba, Singu, the list goes on.
-
@CorvusCorax86 said:
This was a good idea. Playing against Trickster was a pain. And killers, in general, can spot you from a distance as obstacles are not tall, at all.
If only the size was slightly modified to give an advantage to the killers... this update was a necessity.
Killers had it worse with being spotted, and it hardly mattered for survivors due to the abundance of pallets in the map, now those loops are ven stronger since survivors can mindgame for free, they need to tweak the walls again, and the map in general

@indieeden7 said:
Now I know Borgo has a lot of pallets but I don't really think anybody likes playing on that map, apart from normal jungle gyms, the vast majority of filler tiles feel awful to play, with many filler tiles often spawning without any pallet or window at all. And unless you're running WoO, you don't know that until you actually go over to the tile in question.
One complaint that many people had was the stealth killers really suffered on this map, due to it being so open, with very few LoS blockers, which is why the change happened I'd assume. But obviously this came with the downside that killers like Huntress or Trickster are now less viable on Borgo.
Which is also why this complaint doesn't really have much weight behind it, the devs were obviously in a position where they had to choose between keeping the map good for ranged killers, or making the map better for stealth killers, no matter what they pick, one group of killers is going to be put at a disadvantage.
I also really don't understand this is being construed as a survivor-sided change, more LoS blockers is generally a worse thing for survivor seeing as a key part of play is positioning yourself well and making as much distance from the killer as early in chase as possible, LoS blockers make both of these much more difficult to accomplish.
Its survivor sided due to its size, its one of the larger maps in the game, also having tons of pallets, and due to the clutter, killers like Billy, Bubba, Wesker, etc suffer greatly on it.
Making the walls taller might help stealth killers, but it hurt just about any other killer in the process, specially since they did nothing to compensate the change, like making the map smaller, or at least make some gabs in the walls.

Now I'm confused, for some reason I didn't get the shirt for Claudette. I've logged in every day (in the morning and evening). How did I not get it? 🤔
Same question, i got the Slinger Set, but im missing Claud's shirt piece
-
Wasnt there a bug that allowed to stack hits from hooked survivors when the rework happened? maybe thats back?
I played Legion and faced them recently but didnt noticed anything different, so i cant tell.
