    I'm going to reiterate this, since it seems like people are misunderstanding the situation: Wesker won't be re-enabled for the START of the event, because there is not enough time for the fixes.

    This, however, does not mean he won't be enabled during the event, as Mandy explained here:

    Just a question, but why isnt it possible to at least have access to the character's bloodweb and customization?, not me specifically, but im pretty sure most Wesker mains would at least like to be able to get some Cakes for him.

    I do not have an answer to that, I'm afraid, hopefully it's something that can be done in the future.

    Just send every proud Wesker-owner 150 cakes/flans, or maybe 50 flans per day that he missed of the event, and 80% of the grumpy and disgruntled playerbase will be more lenient and accepting.

    Something like this might even make people buy Wesker for the free cakes !
