Or just use Borrowed Time instead of wasting 2 perk slots.
Borrowed time doesn't work outside of terror radius and it doesn't give you time to heal.

What is booping snoots?
Pointing at the killer's face, specifically the Pig.

Have a friend use borrowed time, so you can boop the snoot again
I didn't list this originally since I didn't consider SWF, but yes this would be very helpful!

There's also Sole Survivor laddie. Both perks deny aura reading. Adding in aura reading denial is as pointless as running Small game in hopes of running into a killer that has traps, or running Calm Spirit to neuter Doctor.
In my honesty, this perk should just be scrapped.
I'm fully aware that there are more aura reading denial perks (and I mentioned that). It wouldn't just be for deerstalker. It would also protect you from BBQ, which is a very common perk on killers. The idea of the perk is to stay hidden, so aura protection would fit well with it. Again, sole survivor also has limited usefulness. The killer is probably not gonna slug you if everyone else is dead.

Got found by an iri head huntress (who was rank 2, while I was a green rank solo) in the first ten seconds of the game, got unhooked in her hum radius. Tried to hide but she broke off from the unhooker to find me and mori me.
God I hate huntress. I said before that I hate going against trapper or hag more but I take that back. No killer can make me as miserable as huntress. Almost every game I get huntress I get tunneled. Almost quit the game because the first ten games I had were huntresses and they always seemed to know exactly where I was at all times.
-
@brokedownpalace said:
It's good for you but not really good for the purpose of the perk, which is to distract for the unhooked survivor.
Clever combo, though.
I'm not so good at chases and I prefer healing the survivors I unhook (even if I have to chase them down to the ends of the earth), so this combo would better suit that playstyle.

Here is the perk description;
You look over your friends even in dire situations.
Survivors within 8 meters of you are aware that you have this perk. Once out of range, this persists for 15 seconds.
You may take a Survivors negative status effect if there is less than 20 seconds of the status effect. You additionally recover from it 20%/25%/30% faster. Negative status effects cannot stack. Points for altruism are increased by 50%.
Only one Survivor can use Vigil during a trial.
Only one Survivor can use Vigil during a trial.
Please don't do this to Solos.

Must be hard to get bloodpoints on that version.

I mean yeah if I have mirror that's the best. I honestly don't spend too much BP on killers though so my Myers arsenal is very limited.
Ah, you must be low rank as killer then. That would explain how you could stay in Tier 1 the whole game and not get destroyed.
I'm a hardcore Myers main, so I have Myers at P3-50. I have about 50+ of each yellow addon, about 30+ of each green add-on, and I have about 15 scratched mirrors. Yet I have no lery's or gideon offerings left. I hope they implement a more reliable way of getting offerings of the map you want, especially since there are so many of them now.
-
@Mochan said:
As Myers? My favorite way to play Myers is with Monitor and Abuse and stay in Tier 1 all game.
I just like sneaking around and screwing with survivors.
Scratched mirror is by far my favorite build. Sadly though, the bloodweb is very stingy with its lery's and gideon offerings. I've played other "stealth" killers and none of them are nearly as enjoyable.
-
@Mochan said:
Every killer says they don't use BBQ for Aura Reading (even Billies, lol) but BBQ helps you in a lot more ways than you think, even if you downplay it.
It's frankly disgusting how dishonest killers are about this.
And yet when anyone suggests nerfing the Aura Reading on BBQ none of the killers are open to that idea.
So you have either never run WGLF as survivor or you actually like it in its current state.

Distortion. Nuff said.
Distortion has limited uses. It doesn't need to be the only perk that prevents your aura from being read (and it isn't. it's not even the first one).
-
Alright so the extra tenacity might be a bit much. Maybe replace it with an effect that makes it so the killer can't see your aura?

Killers shouldn't be camping anyways + You dont need to figure out who has it, you just know that they have it.
BT is so good because it doesn't only work on camping killers. You could be chasing a survivor and he can run straight to the hooked person and farm them.
-
I think the description says you move at 50% speed, not 150%.
-
The exhaustion should probably be set to the standard amount of time since the speed burst is the same as most other exhaustion perks.
Also, I don't think the "can't be grabbed" part should apply to survivors who aren't using the perk, or the killer's gonna have a hard time figuring out who actually has the perk.
I'd also like to note that this really encourages unsafe unhooks. Run this with BT and you can farm people with little to no risk.

Save The Best For Last.
This perk has come in handy so many time's, not to mention the utter satisfaction of having 8 token's in a chase, and the pure bliss of getting 4 kills with 8 tokens.
It's also highly satisfying having 4+ token's and the survivor on the gate switch thinks they can open it and escape because of the cooldown. (This has happened alot.)
Can't wait to run it with the new Dying light change's and seeing how it turn's out.
I actually rarely used this perk until I got it on demogorgon. One of the best moments I had with it was when a survivor tried to spin me around near a window, only to get hit and then hit again through the window. Also funny when someone tries to finish a generator and I just grab them off after the first hit. It's kinda like enduring where it allows you to do really silly stuff (with enduring, for instance, if a survivor panics and drops the pallet on the wrong side but still stuns you, you'll be able to grab them off the pallet). I want to try making a build with perks like that someday.

But the best map for Survivors is without a doubt Haddonfield.
Tell that to my Ghostface
*Takes a swig*
I remember playing the PTB for ghostface and every time I got haddonfield there was a survivor standing on the front balcony looking for me.
I'm surprised OP ranked haddonfield so low. He must not use balanced landing.
-
It's supposed to be in the killer's favor. If you were a killer, I'm sure you'd be annoyed if the last survivor slipped away every game. The hatch is meant to give the last survivor a chance to escape. If you are often the last survivor remaining, here are some tips:
- Remember usual spots for the hatch to spawn. For instance, on badham it often spawns in the boiler room.
- Stand by the exit gate and let the killer find the hatch first. Unless the killer immediately goes to your gate, you'll probably be able to open it in time.
- Use a map that can track the hatch.
- Use perks to help you escape in these situations. In the upcoming patch, Left Behind reveals the aura of the hatch within 32 meters. Wake Up helps you open the gate faster if the killer find the hatch first. Sole Survivor will keep your aura from being seen when you're the last one alive. Spine Chill can help when you need to open the gate just a little bit faster before the killer catches you, and is also a good perk overall.
-
Depends on whether I feel like playing killer or survivor that day. If survivor, then Nancy because I love fixated. And Sbeve's perks are lame.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
What would the unhooking survivor do? Yeet the injured survivor at the killer to stun them?
Please say yes.
We need a perk that allows the killer to yeet a survivor he's carrying at another survivor to damage them.
-
Don't level them equally. Get Leatherface and Hag to level 35 as soon as possible so you can have BBQ and Ruin. I'd go for BBQ first since that means more bloodpoints and therefore more levels. Then, try to get those perks on all of your killers and you'll have a much better time getting bloodpoints.
For demogorgon specifically, I'd recommend getting Save the Best for Last from Myers. Demogorgon doesn't lose stacks if he hits the obsession with Shred, so it's pretty good on him.
Surveillance from Pig would be good too. Not necessarily for Demogorgon and more for Surge, as Surveillance will work on any gens regressed by Surge. I use this to know if a survivor's on a gen without placing my portal next to one and instead putting it nearby and out of view so I can sneak up on them.
Pop Goes the Weasel from Clown is also a good perk that can go with or even replace Ruin, though you do need to remember to use it when you can.
Of course, these other perks only matter if you want to main demogorgon. So get BBQ and Ruin first, then save up BP, and get demogorgon to at least level 10. If he seems like someone you want to main, prioritize getting teachables that will be good for him. That can apply to any killer, really.
-
I'd like this a lot. Almost every game I wonder how many points I have in a certain category.
-
I'm more than satisfied with the feedback I got from this one. I get more notifications from this than I do with ideas I'm more proud of, so I'd like to ask that you don't reply to this thread any further. Can I close it or something? Not sure how that works.
-
Alright, I see your points. Truth be told, I personally think BL shouldn't have the passive. But I figured I'd throw this idea out there since BL probably won't be nerfed anytime soon and I wanted Lithe to be able to compete with it.
-
@Trwth said:
I once wrote that Lithe passively increases your vaulting speed by 15%. The only perk that affects vaulting speed though is Resilience, so it’s difficult to measure how much 15% will do.
I think spine chill also affects it.
-
So is slows time for 1.5 seconds if I'm reading that correctly? Doesn't seem very useful. In some situations it could guarantee a hit with no counterplay, so it's annoying to survivors as well as being weak, like old legion.
I'm not sure how well the game would handle reversing time and I don't see to much use in that, either, other than guaranteeing a hit.
Stopping time is pretty much the same deal, as fun as it would be, survivors would be pretty annoyed when I hit them with that za warudo and there's nothing they can do about it except sit there as they become a donut.
Here are my thoughts on some of these perks.
Second killer perk promotes tunneling and can be used with a mori (or a tombstone piece) to great effect.
The third perk won't activate often since survivors will usually try to get out of the basement quickly after unhooking someone, and it won't do much by blocking them for just 4 seconds.
The first survivor perk allows for at least two exhaustion perks per chase, might be too op, especially on certain maps.
I don't like the third survivor perk. Stealing someone's endurance is pretty much designed for sandbagging.

I wish I could just have the eye patch without the hat and stuff. Right now it doesn't match my smoking jacket as well as the new year cosmetic, and I'm not a huge fan of the bulky pilot outfit.

For the the difference is drastic. Ace and I think Tapp are just really quiet especially during vaults compared to everyone else.
It's led me to p3ing Ace eventhough his cosmetics are not to my liking. He needs something wacky like Dwight's pizza boy or something.
Is Willy Wonka Ace not good enough for you?

Really? I play him because of his smugness lol
-
Were they all hovering around the hook? If so, I would have camped them too. Otherwise, I wouldn't have camped because since they're in SWF the guy should have told them he was being camped and they should have rushed gens. I'm also surprised none of them tried to use BT. The OoO should have had DS too, otherwise I have no clue what these guys were thinking.

Really cool ideas! They both sound like fun characters to play as, that wouldn't need too much balancing to make it into the actual game. Just a few number changes and they seem like they'd be fun and not too amazing or under powered. Maybe even without the number changes, they could still be pretty good.
Happy to hear you like them! I'll add the add-ons and possibly more lore later on.

Neat idea, but maybe the increase in stun should be reduced to 10/20/30 or 10/15/20? Making the stun 50% longer seems really good, especially when used by a good survivor who knows exactly when to drop a pallet, even against a killer who doesn't just walk into pallets.
Yeah, I can reduce the stun time. I didn't want to make it so small that it does basically nothing to enduring, but on second thought enduring should definitely be able to counter this perk.
-
Could definitely be stronger. Right now she seems like a worse version of the Trapper (who is already pretty bad as a killer).

They are strange of course, but not in a SWF team. Is like flashlight saves. In a random match yeah, they are but in a SWF team it's pretty common.
They're not hard to avoid, though. If you look around before picking someone up, you'll probably find anyone who's trying to get a save. Also, we shouldn't try to balance around SWF. They'll be annoying no matter what.

Lol. I don't really have a main as a survivor, but as killer I use Pig and Spirit, I use Myers sometimes and I like him but his playstyle is a bit boring . Pig is not that strong but I like his playstile. And about being an exhaustion perk. Yes, it should be. And the chase requirement is for making it a bit hard to abuse. You know how toxic some SWF's can be. Imagine that you're going to pick up a survivor and BANG. Pallet to the face, with a bigger stun.
I believe enduring was changed to not count pallet saves as stuns, so the same could be done to this perk. Besides, pallet saves are very rare anyway and they're easy to avoid.

Medium vaults got buffed months ago and ever since they became kinda annoying sometimes.. buffing them even more will make them even more annoying and I don’t need to be annoyed so no thank you.
It's not really buffing medium vaults as a whole, since you have to use Lithe to get the benefit, meaning you won't be able to use dead hard or balanced landing effectively.

I don't know if you watch Otzdarva at all, but thanks to him I now know that if you use Play With Your Food and down the obsession with your chainsaw, it qualifies as a chase end. This means you get the stack you lost for sawing them down back as if you'd let them go in a chase. Combine that with that ghostface perk, Furtive Chase, and you're now the fastest Obession Hunting Saw boi in the west.
They fixed this. Downing the Obsession now makes you lose a stack without gaining another one.

Wraith the weakest killer in the game? At least Wraith has a very niche chase tool and a power that allows for some map transportation and stealth. His power has some use. Bubbas power has literally no use against survivors who have more than 5 brain cells. He's literally just an M1 killer. There's no way Bubba is better than Wraith.
I personally think PWYF makes Bubba better than Wraith.

Wait. This perks seems exactly the same as one perk that I made. But I added "you don't leave scratch marks for 3 seconds".
Also, the perk worked in this way. "After 25/20/15 secs being chased the perk activates. After using it, the perk becomes disabled for 40/30/20 seconds".
We must also think alike, fellow Ace main.
I don't think it needs a chase time requirement and giving it a basic cooldown means it could be used with other exhaustion perks (and I do think it should be an exhaustion perk because of the speed boost). I don't think it should disable scratch marks, since it would be very hard for the killer to track you down.
I'm guessing this is a popular idea because pallet stunning is one of the few actions that doesn't have already have a perk tied to it.

Can I see those calculations? The math for MS is weird sometimes and 6.8 doesn't sound quite right.
According to the wiki, the windstorm addons add 20% and 16% speed. Assuming this is additive, 5.04*1.36 = about 6.8. Though taking another look at the wiki, it says wraith's cloaked speed is 5.06 at base, which would make the windstorm speed almost 6.9.
-
Only Myers is immune. And that's because doesn't chill spines, he soothes the soul. You take one look at him and go "Oh, that's Myers. He's the best boi. I'm safe around him."
-
He would actually be the worst killer in the game if he was at 110% speed.
-
@Coriander said:
These seem like really strong changes. He already has move speed bonus when cloaked, making it impossible to escape if he knows where you are. If you couldn't see even the shimmer approach, you would never get away, and he still has a post-cloak lunge that helps him a great deal. Without even the bell ringing to signal his appearance next to you, he would get free hits all day. This killer would be outrageously powerful, and most players likely wouldn't be able to survive. Speaking for myself, I know I wouldn't. It would be interesting to see R1 players trying this out and seeing how they do.
impossible to escape if he knows where you are
You do know this is Wraith we're talking about, right? As in, the worst killer in the game?
His windstorm addons currently make his speed MUCH faster than 5.4 (about 6.8 from my calculations), and you don't see him getting that many kills as it is.
Even with Coxcombed Clapper and Ghost addons, he's not even close to OP. You'd still see him walking up if you're paying attention, and you'll most definitely see him uncloaking without the help of the bell.
