Part of me hopes VHS destroys them to make the learn.
I don't think it will "destroy" dbd, but I do think that it might encourage BHVR to up their game (I really hope so).
-
They have definitely become more common. They come in waves though, and BHVR continues to pretend they don't exist.

What i do know is that if a survivor dcs in a locker with the box, the box is permanently stuck in the locker and cannot be picked up by anyone making chain hunts unstoppable.
Thanks bhvr

It’s just sickening how BHVR has been so quiet about this and continue to make their customers miserable.
Ik, they are deliberately ignoring it which is the most frustrating part.

Still not a single word from BHVR on this issue, typical.

but seriously that sucks

even though the video is a joke(which was actually pretty good) I disagree with some of these changes. First off Topknot was nerfed already I don’t think he knew that. Making Slinger 115 would not fix his issues he needs more than just more speed, people said the same about Hag and yet she became the best. He mistaked Flip Flop for Buckle up, Flip flop makes recovery progress wiggle progress not range he made a mistake there(I don’t know if that was part of the joke)? Some things I don’t agree with
The whole thing is still better than what BHVR could every hope to come up with.

No, unless you want to max out everyone or like the bloody cosmetics.

5% seems way too small for the amount of hate I get daily

There is literally no reason to not have an FOV slider. You could say it gives the killer a competitive advantage, and it is somewhat true. But only because it sets the FOV to what it should be normally (depending on what FOV you prefer), so of course a killer player would do better with it.
Restricting changes to the FOV for killer on perks is just a bad move overall.
It was the exact same issue with bloodhound. Bloodhound was run very often by people who are colorblind (before colorblind options were finally added) so they can actually play the game comfortably. And people who run shadowborn do it for the same reason, so they can play the game comfortably.
Give us an FOV slider. It is a very simple QoL change.
-
No. The turn rate addons only affect the actual turn rate during a rush or lethal rush. They do not work during the lunge of a lethal rush.
-
Once the hacking issue is finally dealt with, then yes.
This game should be free to play with how much money can be spent on it. Allow people to download the base game (start with all the normal killers), and if they want to buy more killers then they can. OR they could grind for shards. The game has way too much monetization (and very weird monetization) for it not to be a F2P game.

BHVR is giving me "There is no war in Ba Sing Se" vibes

I don't play scummy either, but I still get quite a lot.

Let me guess, you placed traps and that was considered toxic.

Well Wraith being at least B-tier didn't last too long before BHVR nerfed him because he was "a wee bit too OP"

I'm sorry that you're disatisfied with decisions that you do not agree with. However, just to reassure you on one point - our calendar is planned months in advance, as was the Bloodhunt.
I appreciate the comment, but that still doesn't explain why it took so long to address the DDoSing situation. Why did it take so long?

Is this a bug, glitch, or hack?

This killer deserves a nerf as he is imbalanced as a nurse.

SurgeJoltRemove the cooldown, or remove the basic attack requirement. Have the range be the tierable number of 28m/30m/32m.
Remove both, there is no reason for either to exist.

This. Just one single Game Health chapter would accomplish literally nothing. It’s such a short sighted solution..
put more time and resources into QA instead, don’t push out a new chapter every 3 months, at least don’t make it such a hard schedule/dead line of quality isn’t good for a release. Put more into actual game health, balance etc. and a little softer on new characters and perks. Fix the current characters and perks instead.
That actually does make more sense

Vomiting new content every 3 months while the base game is still a broken mess makes me believe they really don't care about the balance. As McCote said on a very recent interview, just "embrace the chaos".
Could you post a link to that interview?

I feel like allowing survivors to be downed due to hemorrhage would be too strong. And reducing the slug timer to 2 minutes is a lot which also would make for some pretty nasty slug builds.
Also plague and legion.
And COH.
-
It would still suck and would be very unoriginal. Blight, demo, oni, billy, bubba, and nemesis already do that.
-
Even better idea, remove the overheating mechanic entirely and give him addons that are actually good.
-
Correct, he is definitely S tier :)
-
I really don't think he needs much of any buffs.
The problem is map design. The fact that there is a good chance that just about any survivor can play safe on any tile makes it near impossible to get an early hit, which is what Oni needs. His power is actually the best one for coming back in a match.
-
@Mat_Sella said:
Doesn't Bubba go into a tantrum if he holds his power too long by the hook?
Just make Main Event go into cooldown if he stays too long by the hook, so that way all other Tricksters can just keep it whenever for whatever situations that dont involve camping.
He does but no one does that lol.
Making main event go into cooldown if a trickster is standing close to a hook is unnecessary. Besides, I highly doubt trickster players would get main event just to camp someone to death.
-
@Trickstaaaaa said:
Yeah holding it could promote even more camping. Which something less experienced trickster users tend to do. I used to think that holding his main event would be perfect, but then I realized it would promote camping in a bad way. So I agree with what others have said, if does not get used it would reset to maybe 75% of it's power.
What about literally every other killer who starts with their power and can also use it to camp?
Leatherface, Oni, hag, and so on. Trickster is already good at camping and having that small restriction would just be annoying and unnecessary.

Information if I am a strong killer, and gen regression if I am a weaker one.

I'd be ok with it, if we disable all killer abilities within a small radius of a hooked survivor.

Same way I felt before: bored.
I started to get bored of Freddy ever since I realized how boring his chases were.
You put a snare at a loop, force the survivors to go through it. You either get a hit or they leave.
The only thing I liked and thought was cool was the dream projection.
I think it would be great if he just had his sleepiness meter reworked and a different chasing ability.

I agree with using aftercare with kindred rather than just on its own. I have said this in the past that for solo queue kindred and aftercare work well together.
You get some bonds established using aftercare and when you are hooked you lose them, but kindred gives you one last burst of info. Very nice.
The problem will be to encourage survivors to use aftercare though, and I'm pretty sure kindred works well enough on its own for people to run just that.
The only issue I have with using aftercare on its own is the playstyle you should have when using it. If you want to keep all your aftercare connections, you have to not get hooked. This hurts the team as a whole since your team would die faster if you don't, but if you do then you lose the powerful aura reading. However as I wrote this I think there part where you lose your bonds it is actually not that bad.
Think about it, since you get one aura on a teammate for any altruistic action completed this means that if hooked you are still guaranteed one aura read. Even one aura read can help a lot, it might even help you find more teammates. Another thing, if you happen to be healed by two teammates you can get two auras done at one time.
-
Sounds funny and wholesome, but I feel like that wouldn't really fit in with the game. I feel like it should stay somewhat serious.
Besides, bhvr would never add this.
