It's literally free BP... and you're checking for other hexes at the same time.
You seem to have missed the point where you are wasting time when doing it. And 1000 points for a dull totem ain't all that much.
-
lol of course it can, the only problem with stealth is when you end up playing with those survivors who think if they are caught they instantly die.

Nothing about NOED is cheap... you do totems or you don't do totems. It feels cheap because people feel they should be rewarded for doing the bare minimum, which is repairing generators. Then they belive they should be able to leave without any problem.
And what if one solo player goes off and tries to cleanse all totems when the killer doesn't even have it? They will just waste time, in solo queue there is no time for cleansing totems since you have to assume you are always playing with noobs. So yeah, a perk that can screw over people just because they have no means of communication can feel pretty cheap at times.

Hillbilly - The Banjo (iridescent, replaces the brick)
Your chainsaw is replaced by a banjo. After fully charging the banjo, you do not gain any increase in movement speed but instead start furiously playing a hardcore solo. The longer it is played, the further the sound travels throughout the entire map.

It's not impossible for 4 survivors to finish 5 totems though
Depends. If it is solo, at most it can feel pretty cheap. If it works against a SWF, it is the SWF's fault for not cleansing all the totems.
-
So people can't max out the new killers and survivors immediately when they come out (prestige them 3 times and level them up to 50 with loads of perks as well).
I forgot why this was added in.

If there's one thing this game doesn't lack, that is content.
The thing it lacks is "Quality" content lol

Well tell me how they don't. What amazing and humongous and extremely meaningful content does DBD have? One of the biggest ones is multiple modes which these other games all sort of have and DBD doesn't. One of the biggest things is immediately crossed off.
What amazing and humongous and extremely meaningful content does DBD have?
Literally every single licensed chapter or content in this game. How do you even compete with a game like this that has all of those famous licenses and of this size? DBD is the only real successful game of its genre, so of course the content is meaningful. The game would have died a long time ago if there wasn't something special about it.
Also every other asymmetrical horror game like DBD is dead, and VHS is still small. So I am pretty sure DBD is at the top of its genre.

And let’s not forget they just buffed Blood favor and 3rd seal to work on both attacks so the fact Surge wasn’t buffed is astounding
I completely forgot they buffed third seal

I have 2.5k hours so I'm not either ;(

If you are bad at the game then yes, swf is necessary.
-
Unfortunately I think this wouldn't really help. It would actually make slugging more annoying if a killer like nurse plays with the normal slug build.
-
You can go wait in a corner every time you hook a survivor.
There is no other way; it is best to just focus on your fun rather than anyone else's.

If Dead Hard were on the block for a nerf, which I'm on record as saying may not be the best course of action, I'd want to target the part of Dead Hard that actually poses a problem. In my opinion, Dead Hard timed to dodge a hit in chase is reasonable- it requires decent timing, it can be baited, and it sometimes really doesn't do all that much for the survivor unless they're in a relatively strong tile.
Dead Hard for distance, though, is trivially easy and almost always works out perfectly. What I'd propose is to give a brief window after using Dead Hard where you can no longer vault windows or drop/vault pallets, to encourage using it for dodging instead of distance and to require some measure of decent timing and judgement before you can use it to just get to another tile.

This is the end of DH. No one will use it. What's the point to dodge a hit and then go down after 1 second.
Gonna have to agree with daily. Making dead hard not allow a survivor to do anything would make it pretty useless. I would prefer if dead hard was earned rather than just given to survivors for being injured.
-
I have yet to play against even one spirit player.
But playing her? She feels almost exactly the same, with the exception for safer loops. And as for her addons they are meh. A few are questionable like the one that blocks vault locations (does it block dropped pallets?).
MD ring is still broken btw

I'd need Trapper's traps to have a big glowing arrow pointing wherever they are.
Maybe then my anxiety with Trapper can receed.
Honestly I've found that I often last longer just looping normally. It is impossible to not be trapped when playing against him. Still very anxious about playing against him though.
-
If you are solo it is best that you take up the responsibility for harassing the hags traps.
Always be disarming her traps. You can do this when she is being distracted. Meaning when she is carrying someone, or just hit somebody else.

@tenoresax said:
It's about the same, there's alot of hits out in the open that would be very easy to hit for a pc player with the frames and dpi to immediately flick whichever way the survivor wants to try to spin them, but it's alot harder on console where you can't turn hard enough to catch them fast enough.
Certain loops with sharp enough turns are basically impossible on console whereas a pc player might be able to flick hard enough for it.
So yeah, apart from just sensitivity issues, there's not a whole lot separating pc and console blight
So the only thing separating console blight from pc blight is the sensitivity?
-
RNG dependent and not rewarding enough for the sheer amount of effort needed to use them.
-
Had a guy get mad at me for placing traps as trapper.
This is the world we all live in now.
-
When a gen is about to pop and I rush to slam into an object as Blight but miss it by a grain of sand
-
True, kinda sucks that spirit got hers first especially considering her chases don't last that long. It is great, but I would have prefered if plague had gotten hers first.

Honestly I think one strong killer is more than enough for this game. We don’t need Nurse AND Blight, so yeah I see no issues with removing tech.
Yeah, because in an asymmetrical game having the killer actually be a threat is illegal right?
-
I think they should stay, all of the techs when put together are what makes blight an actual threat. Take them all away and he is just another killer that can be easily beaten by good survivors. He would no longer have control in most of his chases. He is still definitely beatable as well, you can totally win against him even in solo queue.
I think what needs to happen is for BHVR to make him more accessible to console. I think that this is possible.
I actually think that these kinds of things are what makes killers unique and have a high skill cap. All killers should have something unique they can do in chases like Blights' techs.
-
I mean what is the point when someone can DC once they get into the game?
-
Cosmetics, the realm beyond, and a new mmr system.
So nothing really important.
-
It took them several times even to do that.
-
I am pretty sure they have, but very few times. Usually they make bad changes and just leave them in the game for years.
-
No, it would break the game. And the devs can't even balance killers properly.
-
I am going to assume you have about less than 100 hours on the game.

Let's do some Math together. Halloween 7$, Bubba 5$, A nightmare on elm street 7$, Saw 7$, Ghost face 5$, Ash 5$, Stranger things 12$ (for now anyways) Silent Hill 7$, Resident Evil 12$, Pinhead 5$, And Bill is free.
12+12=24, 24+7=31, 31+5=36, 36+7=43, 43+7=50 50+5=55, 55+5=60, 60+7=67, 67+5=72. So it all equals put to around 142$ for everything.
Excluding skins. And some skins are only purchasable for no reason at all other than greed? Why are some meh looking skins costing up to 10 USD while some other skins of the same rarity can be unlocked for shards?
-
years later and trapper, the poster boy of the game, is still weak even after his buffs. Same for other killers.

So you are condoning that this is fair?
Well when considering that the others had the opportunity to do gens, yes. Yes this is most certainly fair.
-
omg really!!?? i have to camp and tunnel every game just to get one or two kills, how do you do it?!? and for survivor i have to bring self care and urban evasion to escape. you must be a god amongts the best players in this game
-
I haven't done that in a while, but it feels good. They usually like to spam their flashlights in frustration after an attempt.

I still can't get over the fact they blatantly ignored the cheater question in their recent Q&A when it was one of the most upvoted questions.
Same, that was pretty upsetting.

Oni and Blight.
Oni being the better one because his chapter came out with lots of other good stuff like the BL nerf.
-
Man's really just created an account just to bait smh
-
Are you sure a doctor didn't shock you as you got to the hatch while also making you hit tier 3? The doctor's shock can also make you not jump in hatch.
-
You can say that about every hex perk. But no, it isn't a useless perk.
-
Cmon man, it is just a cosmetic.

I'd still really like the same hook counter on killers that the survivors have
A killer that intends to tunnel and whatnot is going to do that regardless. While it doesn't happen a whole lot, when there are multiple BPS in play, I do my very very very best to go for 12 hooks in order (ideally I won't even not put anyone on their death hook) but as we're getting to Hooks 6, 7, and 8, it gets harder and harder to track who I took out and who I haven't (especially if there are people playing the same characters).
True

The Nurse needs a rework. She is OP and her addons are OP. I am also fine with all killers, except Nurse. I always cringe when people say she needs A LOT of skill. Blight is a killer that requires a lot of skill in my opinion. Some people only play nurse and only play to win. They don't care about fun, that's not why they play DBD. I almost never have fun while playing against her. Most of my teammates kill themselves on hook or just DC and i don't blame them for doing that.
Nurse takes more skill than blight.

1) Imo wraith is fine how he is right now, it wouldn't hurt to give him a bit more lunge, but not as much as the old one.
2) Agreed.
3) Why make prestige a set? Sets are already unpopular to begin with. Would someone need to prestige 3 times just to be able to have anything prestiged then? What if I like the prestiged head with another outfit?
4) Totally agree. It's way too loud and distracting.
5) With the amount of perks we have right now it's only fair to have a search function.
6) I don't understand this one. Wouldn't aura give you more info than current notification bubbles?
7) A lot of niche perks need to be buffed to be somewhat useable. MoM is already difficult to activate sometimes, you have to go out of your way to make it work, no need for it to have a downside.
8) and 9) I have no opinion on since I dont play Phead or Clown much at all.
3) I mean to where you click on "prestige outfit" when selecting cosmetics to equip all of it. You can still mix and match it.
6) It wouldn't. It would just keep notification bubbles from overlapping with auras. Just a slight annoyance.
-
So you can click on your prestige cosmetic and immediately clothe your character in it? You can still mix and match it with others if that is what your concern was about.
-
No, they don't unfortunately.
-
I wouldn't. I would try my best to fix the real underlying problems.
-
It sounds cool, but I don't think this chase music fits DBD at all if I'm being honest.
-
They all need buffs

Have a real hillbilly watching furiously play a banjo as you start using your chainsaw, the plucking of the strings will give you the power you need to rush down everyone.
