If dead hard received a nerf, what would you want that to look like?
Title. Just wanted to see what ideas you guys have for what a proper balanced dead hard nerf would look like, while still trying to make sure it would be viable. Throw your ideas below.

If Dead Hard were on the block for a nerf, which I'm on record as saying may not be the best course of action, I'd want to target the part of Dead Hard that actually poses a problem. In my opinion, Dead Hard timed to dodge a hit in chase is reasonable- it requires decent timing, it can be baited, and it sometimes really doesn't do all that much for the survivor unless they're in a relatively strong tile.
Dead Hard for distance, though, is trivially easy and almost always works out perfectly. What I'd propose is to give a brief window after using Dead Hard where you can no longer vault windows or drop/vault pallets, to encourage using it for dodging instead of distance and to require some measure of decent timing and judgement before you can use it to just get to another tile.
Like the guy said above I would make it so after using dead hard, you can’t drop pallets and vault windows/pallets for 2 seconds. To get rid of using dead hard for distance and then encouraging it for dodging
This is the end of DH. No one will use it. What's the point to dodge a hit and then go down after 1 second.
You can’t interact with pallets or windows for 3 seconds after pressing the button.
Dead Hard is admittedily really strong, but making it a dodge perk only would probably make it useless, at least against good killers. I would see no actual reason to use it over other exhaustion perks.
Not useless, but far more situational- that's why I don't think the cooldown should be that long. Ideally, you'd still be able to use it for distance, but only if you time it properly, not as a simple "press E to win the chase" situation.
To remove the invul frames or to reduce the lunge distance. Lunge distance reduction would probably kill it though so atleast removing invul frames would be nice just to save couple of seconds when people use it to dodge the hit but seeing how they just added hit validation to it i doubt it will happen. #bringbackexhaustedonfloor
I’d just add a perquisite to its use, something that the player needs to have prepared in order to have the perk ready to be used.
I don’t know what it should be, but it’s better than the, hur dur, I’m caught with my pants around my ankles, lemme push a button to pull them up. With all the complaints of killer having to “earn” their perks/abilities, same should apply to survivors.
You can keep the invincibility frames, but the extra distance you lunge forward has to go.
If you ran for president, I would vote for you.
Gonna have to agree with daily. Making dead hard not allow a survivor to do anything would make it pretty useless. I would prefer if dead hard was earned rather than just given to survivors for being injured.
The removal of i-frames.
Make it so instead of a Dash, the survivor has a dodging down animation. Increase the Iframes to compensate.
Remove the iframes
Make it apply a debuff that slows exhaustion recovery
"Not do anything" is a bit harsh, it'd just make them unable to vault/drop, and for a pretty brief time too. You could still use it for distance, you'd just have to time it properly.
More distance, no iframes.
Exhaustion in general makes survivors 25% louder. (Additively, to overcome iron will.)
For me its simple i have 3 idea for the perk
1- make it so when i use dead hard i cant interact with anything for 1 sec
2- make it so instead of having a dash i have an invincibility frame like the perk have already
3- make it so the dash give you more distance like double it but the survivor can still get hit
I think those change are fair and personally i would still use the perk
An idea would be to have the effect more accurately reflect the name.
For example, when an injured survivor uses "Dead Hard," they immediately fall to the ground and disconnect.
See? Now it's like regular death, where you leave the game, but it's harder on you with additional penalties, such as disconnect penalties.

But nah, I think it's more or less fine.
NO MORE WORKING ON KILLER POWERS.
The fact that it counters Trappers F wording traps is SO DUMB, it's not fair at all that the best Survivor perk counters the one power a C tier Killer has!
I hate it so much :(
Dead Hard
Activate-able Perk.
You can take a beating.
When you enter the Injured state Dead Hard activates, tap into your adrenaline bank and dash forward quickly to avoid damage.
Dead Hard causes the Exhausted Status Effect for several seconds.
Dead Hard cannot be used when Exhausted.
So bassicly it's the same but once used you need to leave the injured state and re-enter it if you want to use it again. either by going down or healing to healthy. It will stop the perk to be used as a way to avoid healing and using it as a regenerating life state. It's also something the killer can track. It won't fix all the problems of this perk but it will make it much more manegable without taking away from it's power
Removing the dash and leaving only the i-frames.
The worst thing for me is when it is used for reaching a window or pallet for extending a chase.
Of course a new animation should replace the dash.
This:
"After the Dash, you cannot interact with Pallets or Windows for 5 seconds."
