Emote idea

So when you are within at least 2 meters range of another survivor, you send them an emote request to handshake/hug them.

If the other survivor presses the action button and accepts, both of them play 2-3 seconds long of an handshake/hugging animation.

What purpose does this serve? It has no gameplay benefit other than showing your gratitude towards someone who happened to take a hit for you or unhooked you, or maybe flashlight saved you?

Is this abusable? No, because when you send another survivor an emote request, they have to accept it to play it out. And this should have a cooldown so it cannot be spammed.

Any thoughts?

  • Sounds funny and wholesome, but I feel like that wouldn't really fit in with the game. I feel like it should stay somewhat serious.

Besides, bhvr would never add this.

  • They are too busy adding perks no one wants to the game. Great Idea's though more than 2 emotes? Wow F13 the game has like 20+ emotes and that game is considered dead. I dunno what this game would be considered then...?

  • This community is too toxic for such a thing to ever transpire.
