There shouldn't be more perks to act as counters towards boons. COH in general just needs to be nerfed or changed.
-
Deathslinger is just a joke now, so chases aren't challenging or fun with him (although they never really were in the first place).
Spirit has counterplay now and both sides are more equally matched in a chase. So chases are a lot more fun than before. Not super fun or anything, but better.
-
mid-low b tier
Has solid tracking abilites, has decent chase potential, but lacks lethality. Even when using perks to mitigate this weakness he still suffers from map design and dead hard.
-
Honestly @GoodBoyKaru, @Pulsar, @TheGannMan, and @MadLordJack are them most iconic for me.
But I also remember @Buttercake
-
Yes, it does way too much for one perk and is very unfun.

Some blight players figured out a way to use a third party software in a way to 'lag' their games which for some reason messes up Blight's perspective and allows them to get hits they aren't really supposed to
I don't know the full rundown or intricacies of it but I do know it's Blight players using third party software to gain an unintended advantage. I think that's the most important part about it
That is interesting, had no clue of this being a thing.

Oh no, a killer that can actually do their job.
-
It really wasn't as it made loads of people lose their last shred of faith in the devs.
-
No, no one else should get voice lines. I feel like the only other killer who should get voice lines is Freddy. And even then they should be very minimal.

Rule 34 implies if you Google Dead By Daylight Bikini you’ll find it. (Although why you’d want to run around in a bikini on Ormond I don’t know.)
Oh I'm pretty sure you'll find a lot more than just survivors in bikinis...

She is fun to play.
Some times more than others.

I played against sluzzy once.

NOED and dead hard

This is a known issue, gotta wait until it's patched.

Yeah I see what you mean, btw do you use lethal pursuer or not? Because if you do, with a little map knowledge you can quickly figure out who is in a dead zone. In the Eyrie I can get hits pretty consistently in the dead zones at the corners.
I don't have lethal :(
-
Honestly I have to agree, but not because of COH. While COH sucks especially for Oni he can still get his power through regular hits. The problem is him actually getting the initial hit.
Thanks to the latest maps new design it is even easier for survivors to play ultra safe and never allow Oni to get his power early on. And thanks to boon shadow step it is even harder to chase survivors in a map like RPD when you have no trail to follow and several safe pallets on a huge map.
If getting his power early on wasn't such a hassle, COH wouldn't matter all that much since his snowballing potential is good.
-
I genuinely believe that Oni, Blight, Huntress, and Hag will all remain the same. At most their addons will be tweaked.
-
I'll just wait for other people to make a summary of it. There was no point in asking questions since the devs will probably just ignore the most popular ones and give us "well sorta kinda not really lets move on" answers.
The QnA streams usually suck is what I am saying.
-
Rework his chasing power and sleeping meter while keeping the dream projection ability.
-
the best counter to basement bubba is not getting downed
-
well yeah he has nothing going for him
-
In a game intended for mature audiences? Yeah.
-
You clearly don't understand him, this is the only way he can express how he feels.
-
Honestly I haven't learned any in a while. I know all sorts of little things about the game. But I am pretty sure the last thing I learned was that if you are touching a wall as blight during a rush (rushing parallel to it) then you can sort of flick towards it to force a slam. Not really too interesting but something I have noticed.
-
Honestly yes. DBD is in a pretty bad state right now. And like I have said since the beginning its due to BHVR's complete lack of even a shred of competence.
-
lol no it still sucks

The ones that have absolutely no idea what they are doing

I think this is the fourth time I've said it in the past few days, but personally Swamp is much worse than both of those maps.

That sounds awesome, but these ideas would probably never make it into the game for a number of reasons.
1. Breaking the game in several ways. The game is already pretty poorly optimized, especially since a new chapter came out recently. Adding lots of content would only make it worse, even more so for console players.
2. Balance issues. It could also bring in a whole slew of things that would probably mess with balance. Some elements could negate certain killer powers or favor one map to survivors even further.
3. The most disappointing reason. BHVR is not competent enough to add these ideas in. BHVR's decision making overall has been very poor for a while now, so they need to dig themselves out of the hole they put their selves in before being to do anything else.
Again, I personally would love to see things like this in game. However we probably won't.

Pft, hell of an argument

Kinda sorta not necessarily

Oh yeah dont forget that the "Great wall of china" can literally be hit through if the survivor is close enough to it. Killer mains whine so much about maps and then refuse to point out the actual broken ######### in it that helps them
All a survivor has to do to avoid that is hug the wall, not the fence. So explain to me how this is a problem. Not a killer main btw.
-
If I happen to walk past it while carrying the last survivor to a hook
Cuz I usually feel nice
If their team was bad or disconnected
-
@NAERUUU said:
Nah nah stop complain.
Killer have offering for separate survivor at the start of the trial.
So stop crying dudes, I hate the killer main complaining about « survivor op »
Explain to me how this is a good thing.

I fully agree. Just don't create another killer who strong at looping so it encourages holding W.
I'd love a mobility killer with stealth tbh.
We used to, Wraith.
-
Yeah I am already VERY concerned. I just don't understand why BHVR feels like they need licensed chapters. They seriously do not, and it is kind of infuriating.
Also, they ruined the surprise already... AGAIN. I expect the excitement for this chapter to blow over very quickly unless BHVR does it justice.
-
@jesterkind said:
Why not?
Also they did like three in a row once, they do 'em back to back sometimes.
Because BHVR likes to focus on aesthetic rather than gameplay. The feeling of newness will go away very fast and we will be stuck with either a badly designed map, or a wonky killer such as pinhead. Or both.
-
We have gone over this already. There was absolutely no real reason for his nerf.
The devs even said it themselves. They said that he is punished quite a bit for misusing his chainsaw, but then proceeded to give him the overheat mechanic anyway.
And then there is wraiths nerf, who was nerfed for a stupid reason. It took him years to be pushed up to the B tier, only to be sent back down.
I hate the devs' decisions. BHVR needs people who work on the game to actually KNOW how their game works. It is so disappointing.
-
Went in this post all excited only to see I didn't make the cut :(
-
So I am not the only one who remembers buttercake
-
Something tells me that person will never see this post.
Just a sneaking suspicion.

Hm.
spine chill is helpful for :
pass / do 6% faster : totems, sabo, gens , pallets, windows, exit gate, heal, gens.
and counter the undetectable status effect so counter pig,Myers, ghostface, wraith, the nerfed spirit, freddys dreams terror radius.
tell me it’s situational
6% is nothing when it really comes down to it btw.
And it only works if the killer is constantly looking at you, in which case you would probably be running away. It is situational and unnecessary if you are already good.

No, spine chill IS a meta perk for beginners and good / god player …
just see ayrun, noob3 etc
It would still be better to use a different perk. Just because good players use it doesn't mean it is a meta perk. They just use it because they like it and even though it can help, the situations it helps with are situational. It helps, but not by all that much and very few times.
-
I think you should be happy that it is in its current state
-
The last thing DBD needs right now is another licensed chapter.

GhostFace good ? I don’t think so ,,,
I mean … ghostface.
spine chill is a meta perk and totally counter him.
Spine chill is a good perk for beginners, not a meta perk.

Its because of the loop money system. It prioritizes placing stronger loops in more common places while one of the cheapest loops, the 'z' wall, fills in the surrounding dead zone edges.
It is notoriously known to be an infinite for killers that do not mind game.
Which is exactly why it needs to be nerfed

If there was one really good thing about freddy, it was the sense of atmosphere you would get when being pulled into the dream world.
