Please don't be yet another anti-loop killer...
So yeah, uh, Ringu is the next chapter.
https://youtu.be/BcUJfHMuHrcIf it's another anti-loop no mobility killer I'm going to cry. Please just give us something different and fun. Give us another Blight idk.

Yeah I am already VERY concerned. I just don't understand why BHVR feels like they need licensed chapters. They seriously do not, and it is kind of infuriating.
Also, they ruined the surprise already... AGAIN. I expect the excitement for this chapter to blow over very quickly unless BHVR does it justice.
What powers does she have in the movies? I think she isn't a running type like the Blight, she seems like another teleporting killer.
I fully agree. Just don't create another killer who strong at looping so it encourages holding W.
I'd love a mobility killer with stealth tbh.
They better not try to pull a Billy with Spirit by making the licensed clone the more relevant killer.
She teleports places, calls people and tells them they have 7 days before they're dead, makes them hallucinate #########, before then
Yeah
I'm hoping it'll be a case of micromanaging different survivors from achieving secondary objectives, and if they don't achieve these objectives survivors cannot progress the game until they do (think active RBTs but they're actually threatening), something like a Death Timer that constantly ticks down unless you purify yourself with Rosemary
I've never seen the film or read the book.
Also it says its releasing in march..
Does this mean we get health chapters?
Well if you know about the Ring I doubt it'll be antiloop. I bet your ass she'll have a teleport through wells though.
Mid chapter will happen in mid-Jan, +1.5 months to get to March
I knew about Nemesis and thought about all the cool things with him and yet he was reduced to anti loop no mobility
Yea nvm i forgot we still get a midchapter.
To my defense, its really late over here already and i was about to go to sleep.
00:21 by any chance?
Well.. I am at least expecting some kind of teleportation similar to Demo portals..
i don’t think we have anything from the movies to actually predict the DbD translated power..
01:22. :P
#BalancebeforeMoney
Damn, hour out
#TwinkEquipBamboozleOnLegion
Yea i really should go sleep now, have to go to work in 4 hours again. ;(
Eey time zone buddy.
Also think about all those ancient freddy users who complained about having to wait 7 seconds before being able to hit a survivor. She will have to wait 7 days
Everyone sharing a timezone and I'm too far behind 😔
Yeah well they massively screwed him up for no good reason. He would've been more unique and fun if they actually stuck with what he is. But that's Nemesis. Someone they clearly never have 2 dookies about. They then went on to release Hellraiser which I get some may find boring but in accuracy he was probably as good as you can get. Obviously in strength he could use some changes but just theming of the power is perfectly fine. But The Ring... If they gave her anti-loop... Well I may go off a bit. Sort of like Nemesjs because I jut hate inaccuracy. I would do it for Freddy to but at bare minimum when Freddy launched he was both unique, interesting, AND accurate.
Please don't be a another ranged killer.
Samara is an awesome looking character for DbD. I’m mainly wondering how they’ll differentiate her from Spirit and Nurse mechanically. Samara’s whole deal in the movies is more like a curse than directly attacking people. Watch her video and die 7 days later. Makes me wonder if they’ll have a curse type mechanism where she can mark a survivor somehow and after a set amount of time something bad happens?
Either way I’m way more interested in this IP than I was Resident Evil or Silent Hill, so good stuff! 🙂
I'd take a ranged killer if they instead lobbed things which they could teleport too
We used to, Wraith.
hmmmmmmm
#TwinkWantsToTryNewBuilds
Sadly, she most likely will be. That's just what the meta has become. Anti-loop and holding W.
#ThenDoItItDoesntMatterIfYouLose
Sobbing
The best thing is that they somehow managed to get the rights of the original Japanese story, instead of that garbage American adaptation. I'm hyped.
All I can think of with that well is Mario jumping out of it...
Now I see it... Thanks a lot 😐️😂
#I'mFineWithLosingAsLongAsItIsFair
wdym ranged killers with no mobility or map pressure are super fun and unique additions to the game, we all know killers like nemesis, pyramid head and deathslinger are community favorites
:(
He's still there but just slightly worse.
Hopefully this new killer turns out be a better Wraith lol
Well, it's the original one, did anyone watch it? I Wonder what powers she'll have. Maybe something involving pits idk. A mix between Spirit and Demo
No please not another blight.
Pyramid Head was fine imo. He was a good addition in terms of balance (not fun), strong but not overbearing. Definitely not biased here
Everyone else we've had after him has just been duller and duller.
I'm guessing a debuff/mobility killer, upon further thought.
I'd rather another Blight than yet another Slinger/Pyramid clone.
It doesn't help that I just started playing Super Mario 64 again today... what a coincidence! 😛
Imagine if she was pure mobility and just chased like a 115 killer. Like super hypermobile better than Hag/Nurse/Spirit/Blight with mobility.
Same actually. Although I don’t mind deathslinger.
Her long black well water drenched hair, in survivors mouths. Could rival Plague for emetic queen.
I mean, she'd better teleport.
and debuffs make perfect sense.
hopefully a built in minigame, like breaking slinger's chain or getting an RBT off.
I'm against another blight. Idk How to loop one on console to this date. It feels like every single Blight I'm against rushes always in a perfect way
I hope every new Killer will be similar to Pinhead. Weak in 1v1 but has build in slow down.
Instead of built in solo-stomping I'd rather we have someone who is hyper hyper mobile for an absolutely fantastic 1v4 and then a piss poor 1v1
What worries me more is the fact that they announce the new chapter almost 3 months before its release.
Because the super mobile killers that already exist have bad 1v1...?
