It is good, but it definitely needs changes.

Yes. "Because she ignores everything the survivors can do !" is false. Perks being held back because of nurse is false. Never once have the devs even hinted at that. That is you(and others) projecting your thoughts that have never been confirmed. To justify why you think nurse should be nerfed.
You even just directly said what some of her counter play is. Breaking LOS and forcing 50/50s/reading what she's going to do. It stalls her longer. That's the whole point. To survive as long as possible. I'm sorry. But you're not supposed to be able to run killers for 5 gens like you seem to be thinking
She can ignore everything survivors can do. Her power literally goes through walls and closes distance, especially with the range addons. And am I wrong for perks being held back because of nurse? Why shouldn't a perk such as lethal pursuer last up to 30 seconds if nurse holding it back isn't the case?
Breaking LOS does not work nearly as good against a good nurse player than the average one. And if she is using range, or recharge addons then your efforts are even less effective.
I am not saying any survivor should be able to run a killer for 5 gens at all. I just hate playing against nurse players who are good because it feels like playing against something that I can do very little about. And if they use addons it makes me feel like my efforts are almost meaningless. In a good nurse game there is no fun, it is just you running around corners hoping the nurse messes up.

Yeaaaaaa. None of that is true. But go on.
None of what is true? The fact that she breaks the game with her power?
-
Because she is a killer that ignores everything survivors have to stall a killer. It is not fun to play against her since she can kill you incredibly fast, and with addons she becomes even stronger. Most nurse players use those addons to make chases last less than 20 secs.
She also holds the game back some too. Some perks cannot be too strong because if they were, then it would indirectly buff nurse. For example look at lethal pursuer. Why can't the perk last up to 20 seconds, or 30? Because of nurse. It would be too strong on her, and maybe artist as well.
There is no adapting to a good nurse player. Yeah breaking LOS can sometimes stall her a bit, but ultimately it's for nothing.
Against a good nurse survivors ARE upset that they literally can't do anything, who wouldn't be? Against a killer like her there is no fun, you just die. And I don't think that there NEEDS to be a killer who exists just because it can stand up to death squads you get every 100 killer games.

They could add a 6 month block or something like that. Something that resets every now and again.
I think that is just a band-aid fix to a mediocre problem. The problem here is people blocking killers they don't want to play against which in the end really is not a huge issue, and during that time it could still be impactful in a bad way.

I agree. I suggested that they at least fix the Block function. Essentially, both Block and Report are worthless... all it does is block the individual from messaging you on that specific name. A more efficient use of Block would be if the function prevented you from being matched with that person again.
People would use that to only play with weaker killers, or end up messing with the matchmaking.

I certainly agree the Prestige Glimmer looks very cheap.
I dont think bHVR is unaware that many veterans are certainly disappointed by this Prestige Legacy Reward by this point.
I care more personally about the changes, but I certainly find it a bit embarrassing on bHVR's part.
I think they should sweeten the deal a bit more. Come on BHVR get the goodie bag out.
The glimmer on our character portraits has to be one of the laziest and most unrewarding rewards we have ever gotten
-
I kinda wish we at least had an option to play with other ppl using it, or to at least toggle it

Like I have been saying the RNG aspect to totems in general needs to be reworked. No matter what you do to any hex totem to make it slightly more consistent it will never completely solve the problem of you sometimes never getting use out of it.
People tend to argue that it is just high-risk high-reward, but I disagree with that. It is just stupid and RNG in all forms (Except maybe the chests for survivors) has no place in this game.
However I don't think totems should be reworked to always work no matter what, there should be something that the survivors could do to counter them. But this would be a very tricky thing to balance around. Totems right now are just hit or miss, and that really does not feel good.
-
idk man maybe its just beginners luck ;)
-
He is definitely one of the weaker killers in the game. He needs another partial rework since he has like 2 good addons and a weak power.
-
Absolutely, but I would be willing to bet that there are more young adults acting like children than actual children playing this game lol.
-
Guaranteed loss as most killers if the survivors are even decently good. Why the hell have the number of safe pallets not been reducred already? Just take away most of the safer pallets and give survivors some windows on this map already.
-
*laughs in myers

Blight, Oni, and Legion
-
Old freddy should come back in a way. His dream world should be buffed, but made to where his skill relies in keeping survivors asleep. He should also keep the dream projection ability. Current freddy is just miserable and has like 2 good addons.
-
I can already see how this would be a problem. Against killers with ranged abilities it would still be a third health state. All a survivor would have to do is just brute force their way through a chase with them. They could use DH right as they vault a window or drop a pallet and the killer couldn't really do anything.
As for if killers get close to m1 them it would just be a very annoying guessing game. Unless I am mistaken this would be pure guessing of when to use DH.
Also, it would still do the same thing. A killer would get close to a survivor about to use a window or pallet, and they could swing and hit the survivor as they use DH right before they get to the pallet.
Also also, stealth killers would have a much tougher time getting survivors who are injured. Stealth killers rely on already injured survivors and if dead hard was a thing then survivors would stay injured and whenever a killer surprises them they could just press m1 to deny them of a quick down.

Killers should be able to relight hexes, just as survivors relight boons.
Change my mind.
Imagine playing solo survivor potatoes for teammates and killers with infinite ruin+undyings. Games where the killer could relight hexes would literally be survivors throwing the game just to keep cleansing them.

Wouldn't it be instantly revealed as a hex when someone starts slowly booning one?
No, because the way I think it should work is your hex should be chosen and lit when it comes into use.

Would you want Corrupt Intervention disabled for a week?
I could stand having any killer perk disabled as long as dead hard is gone for a week.

Are we just gonna pretend the og birb killer doesn't exist? I know bhvr has already forgotten about her, but she's cool, she's strong, she can control and detect from afar. and downright unfair on most loops lol. Dredge is still very good, but it could really do without the bumass auto lock/aim teleport. its giving me ptsd to when nurse used to have it.
She may be unique and strong but her counterplay is very boring. I am shocked that the one killer related to crows has zero interaction with the crows on the map.
-
Idk honestly it should be one of the most important things when a new chapter comes out next to the actual killer itself
If maps were made smaller (preferably to the size or close to coal tower) it would be healthier and more fun overall. Smaller maps means that non mobile killers no longer have to travel a marathon each time they want to check up on a gen. It also means more survivor/killer interaction, meaning more fun since there are more chases.

"So you guys know Ormond?"
"Yeah?"
"What if we remade it with sand."
"Oh that sounds kinda coo-"
"Old Ormond."
"...what?"
"Old Ormond. And we buff main building."
"No, I don't think that's a good id-"
"Old old Ormond."
"Oh no."
Playing on the erie of crows triggers my ptsd from old ormond... the horror...

There is not a single other killer who can literally run out of power.
...Oni runs out of his power afteruse,
...Plague runs out of her power afteruse.
...Trickster runs out of his power afteruse, (can still reload but still)
...Huntress runs out of her power afteruse (Same thing with trickster)
...Piggy can run out of RBT,
I think he meant that he is the only one who can run out of his power source besides pig and maybe plague.
Everyone else can reload or get back their power after working towards it. But once myers stalks the survivors enough he literally cannot get back his power from that survivor for the rest of the match.
-
For sure, unless they gut his addons.
-
Havent played against a silnger in months
-
Or just give us the option to disable it
-
Because they use more than one set of birds to shoot at you the second time.
Usually, an artist player who sees a survivor with bbq or something from far away she will use on bird attack to shoot at you. If she hits you, she then has a very good idea of where you can go to, so the artist player would then line up the next three birds to go in all predicted directions.
She can still see you for like a second and a half after you start to repel (you can quickly jump in and out of lockers to instantly get rid of them btw). She also has an addon that extends this duration.

While playing Spirit, game screen starts showing Spirit's butt.
I dont see a problem with this one tbh

you mean the one where survivors dont make breathing noises when injured and using iron will?

It’s getting nerfed because many killers don’t know how to deal with dead hard. I wish more people would evaluate their own plays and realize it’s their own mistakes that lost them a match, not dead hard.
Also dead hard is necessary because of many killers, killer add ons and flawed map design.
About 90% of the flawed map design in maps benefits the survivors.
-
Hag for sure, especially when using STBFL on her.

Boons

Why do you main the lesion

DH is definitely broken
NOED? After thinking about it some more I don't think it is broken, but rather just poor game design.

Complete lack of any agency probably doesn't make for particularly thrilling gameplay. Why bother dodging or doing anything to avoid infection if she can just down you then fully infect you that way.
I guess that makes sense.

I also think Plague should be able to collect her Corrupted Fountains remotely. Would make her a lot more time efficient and little scarier to people refusing to cleanse.
I think that would be OP. Her corrupt purge is incredibly powerful and if she were able to just remotely activate it survivors would be screwed no matter what.
-
The old survivor animations. The new ones still look dumb and I don't know why they are still in the game. Survivors now just look like meercats. The survivors before actually looked scared.

This is a tricky one, but I am still a little iffy on this. I think it should stay because of how much more interactive it can make chases feel. However there are times where it does feel a wee bit cheeky, but then again it can be outplayed. It doesn't completely break the game, but it is a massive part of blight gameplay once you get good with it.
I think that what makes it more on unfair side is when you start to use the speed addons with it. Because not only are you technically using a bug that is already cheeky, but now you have addons making it way harder or even impossible to outplay it. I think that this is the issue with the hug tech. But then again.... eh?
I think it should stay, and that bhvr should focus on more important things because as it stands it does not break the game. Since it is not entirely unfair and can be dealt with. However if it does get nerfed I think that BHVR should at least fix his movement a bit more and collision to make him feel smoother to play.

There hasn't been a announcement of anything confirmed tho. One community managers opinion doesn't speak for the devs.
True, but I feel like it is going to happen anyway. The hug tech has always been sketchy to many people.
-
Hopefully BHVR doesn't butcher them after they are put in the game again.
-
Imagine wasting your talent making bots with the sole purpose of ruining the game for other people.
-
I think m3 or your scroll wheel would be the best. It would still allow full control of WASD while going to use dead hard. Just makes it a little more comfortable, but it is not needed of course.
-
I think the current oni music is far better than the old one. It is much more intense.
