you beat dead by daylight

More killer nerfs than buffs bhvr plz prove me wrong
-
Nope he is balanced. He is also fun and chases with him are intense.
-
not even a little

*headbangs in disagreement

It would only be more powerful

The Trickster for entertainment

Oni for sure. He literally sees all other bloodlines as inferior, and to him you are literally nothing more than human garbage. His power is literally his "desire to crush all other bloodlines shaped into a literal force". He is intimidating, a monster, and he'll make jelly from your eyes.

I'm loving the fact you used an injured Bill as a measure of sound xD
Noise above 70 deciBills over a prolonged period of time may start to damage your hearing. Loud noise above 120 deciBills can cause immediate harm to your ears. - Google

Because FOV settings would kill stealth completely
no it would not

I just want the option to disable it

"lmao imagine cheating in a party game reported how about you get a life instead of hacking in dbd?"
He startled a crow

Yes they are just strong pre-dropped pallets.
-
Even better idea, give us an FOV slider. There is zero reason for not having it.

Why the distance part and not the I-frame part. Every killer in the world thinks the Iframes are the bullshit part. I also don't expect the change that soon. They announced a bloodpoint change a year+ ago.
BHVR is stagnant.
No, the distance part is what the problem is.

Survivors cannot see that line
If the Artist hits a survivor through the wall with the birds, they will only circle, no matter how close they are. Unless you are already being circled by birds, then it will hurt you
@sizzlingmario4 said:
Survivors do not see the flight path when a crow is stationary. That’s only visible to the Artist.
Survivors are only directly damaged by the first crow if they are hit within 8 meters and it does not pass through anything. If it goes through a wall then the survivor will just be swarmed regardless of how close they are. A swarmed survivor takes damage if hit by a 2nd crow regardless of distance or whether it passes through anything.
cool thx

I honestly can't tell if cheaters are using auto dead hard swings or not. Is this a thing?
-
The fact that you still get use from it though even in less favorable situations like dodging a stealth killer shows it is still useful. Without it in that specific situation that would be a down for the killer, but it is delayed. Instadowns are also very situational and are often overrated. It does way too much for pretty much no cost.
-
Of course there is. Now, absolute and complete balance? Probably not. But faaaar better balance than right now? Absolutely.

Real talk though. I don't think DH would be such a problem if maps weren't as bad they are. Map and tile layout have been ruining the game since day 1.
True but it it would take bhvr an incredibly long time to properly balance every map though. It would be better to just nerf it sometime soon.

I would hardly call what gf and the legion got a rework. But I think the pig and myers are up next on updates, especially myers.

@GannTM said:
Why do they have to use her? Just leave her alone hackers!
Probably because her power is the easiest to work with. With a huntress bot you would have to create some script to automatically calculate hatchet throws and flicks. There is also a lot survivors could do to juke you as well. There would be too many variables to make a consistent cheating bot. With spirit her power is basically just her but going faster meaning you wouldn't really have to account for too much on her power, she would just play very close to normal, or without a power..
Edit: Thought we were talking about the cheating bots.

The audio sometimes messes up for me as survivor too. Rarely, but has happened, when I get hooked the audio just keeps cutting off. Solves itself when I get unhooked.
Same, for survivor it is different. However it doesn't have too much of an impact on survivor gameplay. Sometimes I still make groaning noises for a second after being healed.

On top of that I am pretty sure that survivors still don't make breathing noises when injured while having iron will active.
nope and there's a perfectly logical reason for that: the breathing noises don't normally play when people are injured, and iron will effectively just turns the volume down on the noises that do play. the only way for them to make it so iron will does play breathing noises is to essentially tell the game "if the player is using iron will, play breathing noises instead of injured noises". which might be all fine and dandy on paper, but the problem is that iron will 1 & 2 exist, so the question becomes...how exactly do you account for that without giving it some kind of numerically adjustable secondary effect.
though really the first question is "does BHVR even think iron will needs adjustments" and the answer is...probably not.
Huh wow its almost like having perk tiers in the game only make things unnecessarily complicated, who would have thought?

Yes

I think Solidarity and Resurgence should be immune against new Haemorrhage effect. If they won't, both perks will be worse (they are already not great).
If this perks counter new Haemorrhage, maybe we can see more this perks.
Even if they are immune to it they would still suck

Cheating bots in DBD? Please don't tell me this is a thing now.

"Interfere with the ability of others to enjoy playing a BHVR Service or take actions that interfere with or materially increase the cost to provide a BHVR Service for the enjoyment of all its users."
According to this statement then people should be able to report each other for just about anything that is deemed unfun by the other side.
You could report a player for using flashlights, or using dead hard if you take this too literally.

I'd have thought COH was a huge pain to the Oni.
It really is, i play him the least out of all those killers.
-
Blight, demo, spirit, and oni lately. I would play other killers if COH wasn't such a pain in the gluteus maximus.
-
The gameplay and strategy that goes into it.
-
I once met a guy as survivor who gave me a pretty beefy medkit as a reward for saving him during EGC when everyone else left him. The tbags he did just before we escaped we're very heartwarming. It was like my grandma dropped me off some pie and told me that I was such a good boy.

Dont play hit and run. Easy counter.
Right lemme just chase this one survivor using dead hard as an m1 killer for half the game for one hook at 2 gens
-
@AsherFrost said:
Without perks, what are some good strategies for facing stealth killers?
Simply awareness and if possible good positioning. Plant yourself on a gen in a way where you can still kinda see what is going on around you. Healing is also especially hurtful towards them since stealthy killers rely on surprise hits on already injured survivors.
What perks are good for the artist?
-
Yes it's very bad for the game and should be reworked.
-
I do think that dead hard does carry a lot of survivors, but then again there are a lot of survivors who are good and use dead hard. Just because a survivor uses dh doesn't mean that they are bad.
-
I actually played against Sluzzy once on haddonfield. She was AFK but when I downed her she disconnected iirc.

Both speed add-ons make it pretty impossible to react to flicks so I don't think they should stack.
C33 is fun but it's kinda nutty.
Yeah I think having speed addons stack is a bit too much. Still a bit unsure though.
As for C33 I think it is fine. It IS an ultra rare, and the real problems are with the AC and speed addons.

Neither are exploits. Survivors have smaller hitboxes than killers and learning how to hug a loop as tight as possible without getting stuck is a skill. Blight hug tech is intentional.
Have the devs confirmed that the hug tech is intentional though?
