dont hold w. in 99% of my playtime against ghoul I only went down cuz I held w. Ghoul has no chase power besides fast vaults. If he does fast vault, dont be out of position. If your in position and loop around to vault again he wont catch you

then you must have faced some really really bad ghoul players. I have like 4 ish hours on ghoul (including waiting in lobby) and I can tell you right now, I have beaten survivors in situations where I would have been demolished if I played any other killer that wasn't nurse, blight, or wesker.

Ghoul straight up does not have any counterplay. holding W doesn't work. Looping doesn't work. Moving to another tile doesn't work. Stuns do not work. Even ######### god pallets won't always work as his vault AND recovery are faster than wesker's.

Please stop pretending like the guy is balanced at all

  • @Ohyakno said:

They won't add it because they cannot moderate it.

The ######### do you mean? Yes they can. Every single online multiplayer past the year 2010 can moderate voice comms.

People like you are the reason why this game is constantly falling in quality.

  • @Kuris said:

Stay out of sight, use walls and obstacles to make fakes and double backs. Learn the patterns of them quickly.

I don't think you played 2v8 much at all. If you didn't know, if any killer kicks a gen in a vicinity, or entering chase with them, can see their aura.

The nurse is the only thorn sticking out in this amazing gamemode. Every other killer seems fair and fun to play. With the GARBAGE ping, it's atrocious to see the nurse get a hit when she swung 10 feet behind you after seeing you through a wall for the 47th time that game.

  • @fussy said:

And if 3 gens pops and killer only has 1-2 hooks, all exhaustion / gen related / second chance perks will disable as well, yeah? If you love idea to punish for completing your objective, it should works both ways.

Hey did you know that DS and OTR, two mid perks (Unlike Pain res and Pop's META perks) get disabled when the gens are done?

Killers always love playing the victims when their boring and oppressive meta is subjected to potential changes. Even adrenaline, a totally fair and balanced perk is going to get nerfed because killers just couldn't get gud.

  • I love seeing all the boosted survivors cheer for hugteching being removed because they don't know how to counter it. Is hugtech strong? Yes. Does it require a TON of skill, gamesense, and practice to get good with. YES. As someone who plays Killer/Survivor 40/60, I can tell you that blight is probably one of the hardest killers to master right next to huntress. If you are getting beat by a blight, its not because blight is "op". Its because they practiced for tens, hundreds, or even thousands of hours.

If you are somehow getting into lobbies where the blights can hug tech well enough to down you and make you whine, go on the forums, and complain, then you probably are in a high MMR lobby and shouldn't be there.

  • Just run Terminus if its such a huge problem to deal with adrenaline. Or if you really don't want to deal with it, run Terminus on Pyramid Head and just cage them as it won't proc through cage.

Adrenaline rewards the survivors for doing their jobs. Making it a 'heal over time' would legit kill the perk. Even after all the nerfs to healing, DH, DS, MoM, Boons, etc, Killers still somehow believe that they are entitled to a kill just because they downed someone. That would actually be the same as saying that just because the exit gates are powered, survivors should be entitled to a free escape without opening gates. Is getting hit with 2 adrenalines mid chase and then another one when someone gets unhooked a bit tilting? Yeah. Does it need to be nerfed? Hell no. If you want to talk about perks that reward survivors for doing their objective, lets talk about perks that actively reward killers for failing their objective or out right doing nothing.

Lmao dude if noed is still an issue for you then just do bones. Holyshit noed is so easy to counter especially now with the changes to it (which I think are great btw)

Just do bones could easily be replaced with "just bait out dh" but you whiny killer mains would throw a fit when someone said that. NOED again, is still a crutch. Doing bones in a meta filled with boons and a longer gen timer is one of if not THE worst thing to do. But hey, I understand. You needed this update because you would do horribly in every one of your games if it didn't release.

You went into soloq games with no perks, still won, and don't think the game's survivor sided? Those mental gymnastics!

Throw in Dead Hard (75% use rate!) as a crutch to absolve any mistakes and double every chase, and there was absolutely no doubt that the game was survivor sided.

Hey did you know that maybe, just maybe you weren't actually going against good killers and that your MMR was so low you got paired with little timmy in ohio who hopped onto his brother's xbox? I played blight extensivly last patch (at least 300-400hours) and can easily say that without a doubt, the game was super ######### fair. DH could be baited and the only times in which it was broken was when the survivors used it for distance. But lets not forget YOUR crutch perk, NOED which even after this patch, is still not nerfed nearly as much as DH. But hey, thats what killer mains do. They cry and complain about DH, DS and any other perks then have the audacity to defend NOED.

  • @Seraphor said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3073531#Comment_3073531

Do you know what 'Dead Hard for distance' means?

You either use it or you don't, there's no faking involved, if you fake it... the killer has no idea and nothing changes...

"I rarley ever see survivors complain but killers do nothing BUT complain."

Literally been nothing but survivors complaining about this patch for the past few weeks. They're all threatening to quit the game.

Its like you're trying to be utterly incorrect about everything.

Of course survivors are complaining. The game has given bad killers training wheels like the reduced swing times, reduced pallet break speeds, and reduced distance gained for survivor after getting hit. Lets not also forget the MANY gen regression buffs which make doing gens in any map that isn't the game or badham literally impossible if you go against a Pop, DMS, Surge user

This update has made all the bad killers good and it shows. Anyone who says this game is fair is either lying to themselves to suck up to behavior or they are the bad killers that this update catered to. But its not that big of a deal as these changes are going to be reverted soon and you bad killers will have to actually have skill to win again.

Complain at every single thing dude be a killer straight for 1-3 months then come back to me you cant talk if you dont have experience k yall out number us so experience it before you talk

Lol experience? I have played killer for over 200 hours by now and can get to at least iri 4 quite easily. You clearly are just some salty ass killer main who doesn't know what the ######### they are talking about and gatekeep everything to make yourself seem more important and precious.

Killer isn't any harder than solo survivor and in most cases, its actually easier to play killer than solo surv as you only have yourself to blame for your mistakes. Also "yAlL oUT nUmBEr Us" is also such a stupid point that I might as well just stop talking as you clearly have no clue how games work. Killers are out numbered sure, but do they have to worry about getting chased off gens? Do they have to learn how to flashlight save from weird angles? Do they have to rely on other people being smart to win? Do they have to run perks if playing alone JUST so that they don't die on first hook? Killers have the freedom to go anywhere on the map and not worry about having to deal with people abusing hitboxes, landing hits that are clearly not in range or idiot teammates that waste the one valuable resource to our advantage (pallets)

Go play solo survivor and then come and tell me how "easy" it is to play surv. I would LOOOOVE to see your answer.

Still the easiest action in the game history ๐Ÿ™‚

Still doesn't negate the fact that in most situations, survivors (especially solo) often get paired with idiots that they are forced to carry. Just because you killer mains THINK survivor is easy doesn't mean its actually easy.

Lol thats your response? "LoL GEn RUsHing Is ReAl" Fine, just to make you happy, Ill say gen rushing is "real". It doesn't hide the fact that it still is overused and regardless of me being a survivor main, I still gave you tips on how not to complain about every single little thing in the game. JS bud

What are you on about? Blight is not map dependent. You need to learn maps with Blight but I haven't lost a game on Lery's in weeks and I've played it quite a few times with Blight.

What I do with Blight is that when I struggle with a map, I'll burn the offering for the map over and over as both Blight and as survivor. I learn the map inside and out. RPD, Lery's, Haddonfield, it does not matter for Blight once you've learned to navigate a map.

Imma have to disagree with you there coach. You not losing on a map isn't just the map, but the people you play against. Blight is strong, but in any map where his power is hard to navigate in, he is not really fun to play. Ask any blight player if they get nearly as many kills in Lerys or RPD as they do for Azarovs or the McMillian Farm. Small spaces, doorways at every corner and broken hitboxes make his kit a ######### to play in. Also in small maps, his power isn't as strong as he has to follow the set path.

Play as blight against a full SWF who chose RPD and tell me how fun it actually was. After playing blight for a while, I know his biggest weakness is just running through random doorways and not out in the open.

Also one of the best blight players in the world also states his power is super difficult to use in Lerys, RPD, or Badham as the hitbox for the bushes in Badham and the small maze like spaces are annoying to play in when in RPD or Lerys. Sure you can get wins, but something being Map dependent doesn't mean instant loss. Azarovs is a small, open map. Just like Dead Dawg saloon, you stand no chance there against a blight. Lerys on the other hand requires you to run BBQ, Tinkerer or any other aura/info perk to be able to reach the other side in time.

  • Sounds like someone lost to a SWF and just blames it on survivors. No bud. It isn't every game you get bullied. Either you let yourself get bullied by falling into every one of their obvious ploys or you just went against a squad that was better than you. Not survs fault at all. Its yours. Annoyed about gen-rushing (which btw isn't real, its just a coping mechanism used by bad killers to explain why they can't patrol gens), Run Ruin, Pop, Corrupt, Tinkerer, Thanat, DMS, Jolt, Erruption, Pain Res or any other gen regression perk. Complain about getting outran by survivors, run anti looping killers (artist, nurse, blight,) Complain about surivors healing all the time, run sloppy, or any exposed perk like devour, or even NOED (if you are that bad at the game) Complain about flashlight players always on your ass? Run Starstruck, agitation, mad grit, iron grasp, infectious, or BBQ.

You sit there and do nothing but complain about getting bullied when you should instead try to actually learn what perks to run or what killers to play. The game isn't survivor sided nor is it killer sided. In most cases, its skill sided (besides the 1% of SWFS that are gods and will demolish you regardless)

  • @Avilgus said:

Because survivors hold 1 button 60% of the time ?

And survivors have no way to fight back. Survivors are also dependent on their teammates and the stupidity of them will screw YOU over. Killers only real threat right now are boons. Unb, DS, and DH can easily be baited or avoided entirely. Dont act like you guys have it that bad that you NEED those BP.

  • @konchok said:

Then why do I average 55K with Blight, literally the easiest mode of all.

Tbh, Blight is super map dependent. Azarovs? You are gonna get an easy 3k. Lerys, Not so much. Badham or RPD, best strat is to just DC. Broken bush hitboxes, objects that are greased up in butter and gen spots that make patrolling with a fast moving killer a nightmare.

Oh so according to you, I can dig out those 2016 threads about tunneling nurses with 7 blinks but since it is still relevant it counts?

1, its not relevant so no, you shouldn't.

2, You clearly are just mad because you know I am 100% right.

3, If it was about something relevant, that is still an issue, I would have no issue if someone bringing it up. You dont deal with problems by just saying "wELL itS sOoO OlD, mIghT AsWeLL nEVer BRinG iT uP".

I am assuming you are a salty ass killer main who gets triggered about any post about survivors. And whats funny is that killer mains are often the ones to complain about DH, DS, and Unb like there aren't a million ways to counter them. If you are gonna talk about bringing up old topics that are still relevant, you should really look back at how many things you complain about that aren't relevant anymore

  • @bm33 said:

Just adding - alot of the community has been asking for the Claudette mask to be removed for years now. A large portion of the community also asked for the wiggle system to be changed due to ruining keyboards/controllers as well as for accessibility. So those two examples are things BHVR listened to the community on.

Imma have to disagree with you here coach. Ask anyone in the community if they wanted the masks removed and it would probably be 2% of the player base. The average player knows that that isn't black face or whatever stupid reasons they gave and also acknowledge that 1, this is a game about a crazy killer going around killing people while they have to do gens and 2, there are other things like cheaters, broken addons, broken perks, broken maps, and other ######### that need to be addressed.

  • If the post is 2 days old and still relevant, it can still be discussed. If the post is a week old, but is still relevant, it can still be discussed. If the post is 4 months old, but is still relevant, it can still be discussed. if the post is a year old, but is still relevant, it can still be discussed. People will seriously come out here acting like "lol its OLD" as if that has anything to do with what is still not fixed. Survivors still aren't gaining enough BP to level up the 104 perks in the game.

Do people who comment this just have a short attention span or do they genuinely think that responding like that is a valid enough claim to disprove what I said?

  • @TMNoThumbs said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/294325/i-dont-get-why-survivors-not-much-bloodpoints

Hmm, its fairly common for video games to give less rewards when you play on easy mode.

I forgot that playing against a rank 1 nurse and dying within the first 2 minutes of the game is easy mode.

Killer isn't any harder than survivor and in fact, solo survivor is actually harder than killer as killers can fight back while you can't against stupid teammates.

Survivors do not get enough BP. Thats a fact. Anyone saying "lol survivor is easy mode" has either never played survivor or has only played in rank 20 lobbies.

  • Bro really got left in the basement by his teammates and blamed it on the killer smh. Out of all the "killers should be nerfed" posts, I think this takes the cake for the most unnecessary nerf ever.

  • @SilentShepherd said:

So you're a Killer. You go up against another SWF with flashlights.

They wait until you go into an animation in which you lose control of your character - such as breaking a pallet, or picking a downed player up...... and it is this precise moment, when you cannot control your character, they aim the flashlight at you and blind you. This is a broken game mechanic in my opinion.

    -------------------

If I cannot control my character while I wait for the animation to end, then I should not be blindable or stunnable until I regain control of my character.

    -------------------

This is one small "buff" you can give to Killers, that in my opinion, should already be part of the core game. It makes no sense to force a player into an animation that they lose control of their character, and they cannot look away from the flashlight, but yet they are still blindable by said flashlight. The game should make the Killer immune to flashlight UNTIL the animation is over and the player regains control of their character.

So they have a fighting chance at looking away. This ONE change alone would fix a lot of the flashlight abuse going on, where SWF survivors are hanging around their downed teammate, waiting for you to go into the animation of picking him up, and then you get to just sit there and watch them run up to you and flashlight you.

Or even worse, looping the Killer around a pallet... and when the Killer finally goes to break the pallet... you go into the animation to break it, and they flashlight you and waste more of your time and escape.

Oh booooo hooooo. Killer main mad because he made poor choices on when to pick someone up and when to slug. This is legit why survivor mains don't listen to you. You make dumb posts like these and expect to get respect smh

  • @Yords said:

if anything it should still be nerfed, like if another survivor is hooked then anyone with DS should lose it.

Yeah no. Horrible idea. DS is not op. You just tunnel alot and get hit with it all the time.

  • @Power_Guy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2710770#Comment_2710770

That is almost never relevant, a good survivor worth their weight in cheese is not gonna let that happen lol

Lol well when you got broken hitboxes, you never can tell if the killer has trex arms or stretch armstrong arms. Besides, it still doesn't erase the fact that Haddonfield is too overhated and is easily one of the most broken maps for both killers and survivors. Not just a survivor map

  • @Yords said:

Sure, I mean every house is pain and can sometimes spawn infinites, but sure. Oh yeah, and the great walls of china and all the safe pallets, and the massive size of the map...

But yeah, I guess it is just overrated and I just need to play killer better.

Oh yeah dont forget that the "Great wall of china" can literally be hit through if the survivor is close enough to it. Killer mains whine so much about maps and then refuse to point out the actual broken ######### in it that helps them

  • @Dilif69 said:

yes nurse is fair and balanced bcs she is soo hard to play and takes a lot of skill to be good with her

Yeah but the issue is that once someone learns how to use the Nurse decently, you would need a full 4 man SWF with all coordinated perks to win against them. Once they get really good with nurse, you have no chance whatsoever. Nurse counters literally everything the survivors have against a killer. Vaults, Pallets, Walls, Speed perks, all completely worthless when going against a nurse. If she had only one blink when going through walls, but 2 when in LOS, that would make going against a nurse at least a little fun instead of "Great we are going to lose"

  • @justbecause said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2160883#Comment_2160883

They do know where you go but it gives u time to get to safe loops unless ur potato u can work that out just fine most killers won't go after u after eating ds because of lack of gen pressure so they will go to nearest progressing gen ofc unless killer is potato too and as killer ds don't bother u very much unless endgame

Have you ever even played as survivor with DS? Killers will tunnel you even MORE if you DS them because they know you don't have it again. It seriously should work twice. A one time shot is a gamble that is stupid risky

  • Tbh, a good nurse player has no true counterplay. Survivors have only 2 things to counter killers. Pallets and vaults. Nurse counters both. But the thing is, her skill celing is so high that it is rare to encounter a good nurse, but when you do, the game becomes so unfun.

  • I hope this is a troll. Are you seriously saying exhaustion perks are broken? Unless you are an absolute dogshit killer, none of them will do them any good as most killers eventually catch up with the survivor and a lot of them have ranged attacks. Fix perks like DH before you go ahead and whine about a nerf.
