I was surprised by how much I like it, actually. Thought it'd feel like vertically stacked survivor portraits but it is much better.
-
I'm very thankful that it's lower. It's nice to hear stuff in chase.
-
I thought it'd be really good on Clown.

Which is proof my girl needs some buffs in the Summer Midchapter, yes, and yet that was not the topic of discussion
Comparing killers to one another is off topic when discussing a killer. Makes sense.

He'll glow when within M1 distance or a chase, but that's about it from what I read.
Still better stealth than sadako

Meanwhile, Spirit:
- Uchiwa: Instantly recharges Yamaoka's Haunting when being stunned by a pallet. (This can happen outside her power, unlike Julie's Mixtape.)
- Kintsugi Teacup: Instantly recharges Yamaoka's Haunting when destroying a pallet or breakable wall.
Meanwhile, Ghost Face:
- Olsen's Wallet: Instantly recharges Night Shroud when destroying a pallet or breakable wall.
- Ghost Face Caught on Tape: Instantly recharges Night Shroud when hitting a Marked Survivor.
I'm pretty sure all of these are "damned if you do, damned if you don't", either.
None of those use their powers to make destroying pallets faster, so I don't get your point.

If I cannot move for 4 minutes, and just have to lie there, that is being held hostage. I dont care what the game terminology is or what the "devs" label it as. a person -who does not want to be held there- is kept in a position where they have zero control aside from dc'ing.. which can get reported.
could be on to the next game by the time. if this is "ok" to do.. then we need to just be able to end the bleed timer and die because its not fun.. it just feels really really bad.
Sure you have control. You can DC if you wish or you can alt tab and watch a video or whatever. I've only ever had this happen three or four times in all the time I've played this game. I've done it myself once to all four survivors.
All you're doing is whining about a bad game you had, being combative and not offering any solutions. How productive do you think that behavior and attitude is? What do you expect to get out of it? It's juvenile.

Um ok if you say so. Oblivious and Blindness are underrated and you probably aren't using it right. The strat is to rush gens after mending. You have addons to show the aura of people mending/having mended, which are VERY common.
I have dozens of iri addons and don't even play legion. iri addons are way more common at p3 than people think. Its all RNG. You don't even need Fuming Mixtape, but I get this combo of addons nearly every time i play against a Legion. Its really REALLY boring and I just laugh when someone DCs, since its almost guaranteed to happen.
...... Fearmonger doesn't give oblivious. It causes blindness for five seconds. It's nothing. Also the double iri addons you're talking about don't show the auras of survivors post self-mend. That's stab wounds study.
You're obviously woefully misinformed, so why even weigh in about a supposed powerful combo? Unless you think legion can run 4+ addons at a time? You have dozens of iri addons *because* you don't play legion. You can't use what you don't play.
-
It'd feel pretty bad and weird to just not be able to use your chainsaw because you're close to a hooked survivor.
-
@ihateboons said:
Just run what 90% of the Legions i've faced since his reowork do. Legion Pin and Fuming Mixtape with Thana, SH:PR, DMS, and Fearmonger. Be cute and play a Lerys/Mid/Game offering so people DC faster than using Net Zero with high packet loss(thats a dialup joke)
Fearmonger does absolutely nothing on it's own and I dunno how anybody runs an iri add-on every single game.
-
Can't do it cuz it combos too well with the one that gives you frenzy back when you get stunned. Puts survs in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation and makes pallets pointless for them. Bhvr did what they did with this addon with intent.
-
I'd put hag at the bottom of A tier and Legion above Doctor. Otherwise good list!
-
So you leave a trail of lil farts behind you that survivors can see and just kinda hope they bumble into them? Ok then.
-
Hopefully in the gutter. People are completely unaware of how efficient this will make solo survivors and be a boon to swf players.

I still don't really agree that Dredge is like an Onryo 2.0. They both have a teleport ability that helps them traverse the map, but other than that, Dredge is pretty different compared to Onryo. Even their teleport abilities are fairly different.
But I do agree that she really needs some buffs. However, I would rather have them buff her map pressure and passive slowdown more, and not give her some form of anti-loop.
Dunno how your don't see the comparison. Dredge has the best part of onryo's power except it's far less restrictive and can be used freely. Her stealth may as well not be there considering that she has a lullaby for whatever God awful reason.
-
God no
-
It's very fiddly. I have no idea why they changed it from the easy solution they had for a minute.
-
Obviously if the killer if near a hooked survivor they should explode into a shower of gore and the survivors should be greeted with a short cutscenes of them giggling and playing around in the killers guts. It's only fair.
-
The difference between shattered hope and scourge hooks is that there aren't four killers roaming around killing boons.
-
I don't really care about any of that stuff. The only survivor perk that bothers me is dead hard.
-
I really actually like the green glyphs. They're sideways teaching me about totem spawns I never knew existed.

That happens because the algorithm decides the killer based on the majority of perks being used among the survivors. So whatever build you are using, it will always get a killer with a countermeasure to your loadout. I hate this algorithm because like you said it becomes repetitive and boring, and somewhat unfair, because of the devs' bogus attempt at making the game balanced.
There are so many perks now, with many having an Achilles heel that they make sure you are pitted against it more often than not. It's to make sure that you the survivor or killer never have too great of an advantage over the other players s we all supposedly have a good time. Right!
Haha, this is the craziest thing I've ever read on these forums. Dead by daylight conspiracy theories for the purpose of making YOUR gameplay experience hostile.

It's certainly not "basically confirmed". Saying that sort of thing is going to cause mass confusion if you don't support it with evidence and the devs have confirmed nothing other than some nebulous baseline tweaks and 40 perks are getting reworked along with the ten meta perks.
It's happening. I'll gladly bet you on it. When Patrick mugs for the camera and refuses to confirm it, it's confirmed.
15:20. Come on. Everybody knows what he's saying.

Basekit BT is basically confirmed. The real question is what are killers getting, if anything.

So you just happened to pick her up and instantly know how to use her power 100% effectively, sure.
I 4ked five games in a row. It's boring and simple. I've watched streamers play her many times, I get the gist. Even folks who obviously know how to play vs her and leave the loop.... Still get hit. It's the only time playing this game I felt oppressive aside from when I played nurse for a minute.
You think she's a complex and difficult to pick up killer? That's cute you put yourself up like that. You put down the birds. You hit the mans. You put down the birds. They leave. You hit the mans. Baiting out jukes from survs is the only learning curve there and it works once, per survivor. Then guess what? She got another bird, for free. Comparing her with any subpar killer is laughable. Hell, she's easier than plague and I have a 20 winstreak with her.

Birds aren't AoEs and Artist doesn't have 4-7 of them in stock before having to reload. They also don't slow you down by 15/19%.
Oh no, anything but being somewhat slowed. That's surely a huge hindrance, which is why clown is a top tier killer.
.... Right?
It's literally easier to hit crows than bottles. They do not respect line of sight or map geometry. You just poot them where you want them to go. It's braindead.

Artist main here. you are only exhausted while swarmed, clowns exhaustion addon was thirty seconds for simply getting in the area of clowns bottle, something way easier to do
Not comparable.
Yeah? That's still the vital time a surv needs to dead hard. For artist they either repel crows or take hit while repelling crows. You have a lot of influence over when this happens.
You're an artist main? I picked her up this weekend and found her laughably easy. Try playing some D-tier killers. Clown could use any help he can get.
-
@Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:
When Clown's exhaustion addons were introduced, you could still recover exhaustion while running.
You can't anymore, which is why it was changed.
Artist has one. How do you feel about that?
-
It's funny because Artist, a killer with lethal anti loop instead of a slight inconvenience, has an exhaustion addon.
-
Nemesis is actually really good. He doesn't need any changes. You get tentacle hits at places you otherwise wouldn't; the speed boost balances this out.
-
I bought her this weekend and played about three games with her. She feels..... Rather oppressive. Typically I play B-tier and lower killers and she's just in another league.
-
I like it. It's thematic and unique counterplay.

I'm assuming they're gonna kill off Dead Hard, and good riddance to that. Remember before validation? They added validation right after Boons. Crazy.
What I'd like to see is some kind of basekit corrupt, even if it's 30 seconds, some kind of basekit Lethal, at least knowing the location of survivors but nothing else. Then survs can have basekit BT, but only 5 seconds, with the perk increasing it to 10 seconds instead of 12. Also DS duration nerfed. Then we could nerf other slowdown perks and not have such low build variety at high level.
They're certainly going to do something to dead hard. Considering how they treated Circle my hopes are as low as they could possibly be. I think corrupt is highly overrated and having a pissy version of it base doesn't exactly get me excited.
-
@MrMori said:
No, but Pain Res could be toned down to 10%.
Can't wait to outplay a survivor three times, go through the effort to haul them to a scourge hook for that sweet sweet 10% reward. Mmmmm. Worthwhile.
-
I'll play a fun, inefficient build to ease myself into the role for a game or two. Having no expectation to win really makes the subsequent games easier to stomach.

I wish people would stop saying Sadako and Dredge Rae the same killer, the only thing they have in common is the broad statement that they both teleport. To put it in context, for months people were likewise saying Sadako is a “weaker Wraith”. So what, does that mean Dredge is a “stronger Wraith”?
None of those three killers are the same beyond some broad similarity in their kit. Dredge obviously isn’t Wraith, Sadako isn’t either of them. If you try and play any of them like you another then you’re probably going to run into problems.
They both teleport to objects around the map. Except dredge's objects and teleport are far less restrictive. The comparison is an obvious one.
The wraith/sadako comparison was always dumb. It ignores the more important part of wraith's kit: his increased speed and the attendant lunge.
-
Not enough killer players to go around, so the matchmaking for the survs ends up very lax and you end up with this.
The messed up part is that if you had killed a couple cuz they messed up, your MMR would have shot up drastically cuz of the difference in your rating. So it would have been easier to get matches like this in the future.
-
Well, yes. Gens are indefensible for most of the cast without them.
-
I only play Kate on surv. I like her outfits.
Killer? I switch between clown, legion and doctor according to mood. Sometimes I toss a plague in there but high tier killers are boring sometimes.

5 cakes, casual non-camping/tunneling killer and the game was over in 4 minutes with 1-2 hooks.
"GG" /s (fyi they didn't say anything in after-game chat)
This is a travesty. People are weird.
-
I use it because it nudges survivors toward healing with it's disadvantageous. The little debuff icon and the gen speed indicator are powerful psychological tools that tell them they should heal.
I wouldn't qualify it as a very good perk, though.
-
The aesthetics are very good and unique compared to other maps.
-
@OnryosTapeRentals said:
No.
The perk is already overkill and completely destroys 3 already weak perks.
The problem with boons is specifically CoH.
You think the one perk you're probably never gonna see is going to kill the less-used boons? How?

When you say lag do you mean lag or is your frame rate dropping?
