When I hear a chainsaw I prepare myself for one of two things:
A super fun match against a Billy
Or
A crap match against a Bubba
There's just nothing fun about Bubba. If you don't reach a pallet or window you get insta downed. Of course, the real reason Bubba is not fun to play against is the fact that they almost always camp and tunnel off hooks. I mean I get it, when your power lets you OHKO multiple people why wouldn't you but it's really poor design if you ask me.
Nevermind basement Bubbas that's a whole different realm of bs. Idk like, other killers basement saves feel possible but against Bubba it can and usually will result in everyone dying. A trade if you're very lucky.
With Billy the lethality of his chainsaw is limited to only ever hitting ONE survivor so you never get these problems with him. Also the way his chainsaw sprint / attack works makes him fun to loop. I love the adrenaline rush when he comes flying at me it scares me so much but I still feel like I can juke and do stuff lol
Leatherface I feel none of that it's more like I just want to be in the next game. Him and Freddy make me consider leaving asap they're just overtuned and boring to play against.
Anyways, having said all that I wouldn't mind if they looked at Bubba. He is an incredibly strong killer even without camping / tunneling / slugging. Easily A to S tier because of his insane lethality potential. Like you said he can potentially OHKO 4 survivors with one use of his power that's just silly lol
But I don't see how they can ever change him without reworking him in a fair way and even then idk how. Tbh I'd rather just never play against him than ask for him to be nerfed.
I can't stand this character lol
Bubba isn't S tier. I always lose to Mikeys don't like them but that doesn't make him S tier A tier. You're putting Bubba on the level of Nurse, Spirit, Hag, Pyramidhead, Oni Freddy. Because you don't like him. Which is ridiculous.

I'm a red rank on console and I know for saying that I'm instantly going to get shade.
But Bubba is super op. I say this because he can kill all survivors with one swing of your ability. I know there is a clip going around of a bubba spawning with the survivors in shack and killing them all. Second he needs a longer stun if he doesn't hit his chainsaw then he can just m1 you. Finally he has some of the best perks in the games.
I just am trying to air awareness to the dev's or at the very least could people tell me how to counter him. Pls dont say run around a tree or some tires or a locker.
No Bubba isn't OP he is a killer who can get hard countered by some short loops where survivors can loop close not to mention maps with lots of windows are also a pain for a Bubba. And he can't zoom around the map like Billy so I'm sorry some killers can be debated like that. But no Bubba is perfectly balanced. And best perks sorry also a big no.

They've changed the power enough they will get changed.
-
The devs do fix things. On the basis of years instead of months which is pretty bad.

There are no infinites on Haddonfield. Didn't you get the memo? You're like the OP, apparently unaware that BL was nerfed a long time ago.

You mean make it bright and add breakable walls. What maps have been made darker? Autohaven and especially MacMillan are significantly brighter than they used to be. As are all the maps. Haddonfield already got a tile rework that makes the dirt look like white cement and it's been made significantly brighter than how it used to be 3 years ago.

Pretty sure making more houses enterable would make the map harder for killers.
I wouldn't say that there was an Otzdarva video were he had Slinger and he couldn't at all get to the survivor because she kept looping a house he couldn't cut through. He had to keep trying to go all the way around it.
-
I think it's current effect is fine. The only change I would like is a way to gain tokens back.
-
Can't live without Detectives amazing on indoor maps. And really like Bitter Murmur.
-
Not sure since Wraith's change isn't as huge as Clown, Doctor's, or Billy's, but hey a pleasant surprise of Wraith getting a theme would be nice.
-
Heck I believe he needs a rework to give him something else beyond his one hit ambush then that's it.
-
Go with Billy. I have tons of fun with him. It's fun being able to go point A-B like no one's business. And you can one shot survivors and put Dead Hard down. Saving huge time and a nasty curve is as pleasing as a dead on huntress hatchet. And Billy is like Huntress in the sense you're gonna be aggressive.
-
They've given Wraith buffs truly invisible speed boost after uncloak good buffs. But he's still one of the weakest killers. It's still hard for a Wraith in red ranks even with Windstorm. He needs something to go with his unreliable hit and run strategy. A huge rework Freddy Doctor level. After that intial hit you're forced to leave because you'll just be an M1 killer. In chase. And hope you'll find them injured Wraiths like Sloppy for this. Except med kits overpower sloppy. Botany overpowers sloppy. Get everyone injured it can be destroyed by Desperate. They can 99 heals and it backfires for Wraith especially with Resilience being common.

No clue. I mean Glenvale takes place in a western town and it may not be the most balanced map but it isn't a hot load of garbage like Haddonfield is; so we know they could make haddonfield decent if they wanted to.
That map, unlike every other map, needs to be almost entirely re-done from the ground up- so as long as that is what they actually do, I am fine with letting easier maps to do are done first.
Agreed worse part being all the houses you can't enter. They're a massive annoyance
-
Guess they're saving it for last. They made Ormond better. They're getting to Crotus Prenn next. So I'm not bothered they're not doing Haddonfield the Mid-Chapter. The map needs to redone from the ground up biggest issue being half the houses are just blocks in the way. So I can take extra time on Haddonfield.

This is Not Happening.
It really needs a serious buff to its current function, or a total overhaul.
There’s nothing compelling about this perk in its current iteration.
Rework

Right now I'm using Enduring, Infectious Fright, BBQ & Chili, and Pop
Okay good build just gotta keep practicing.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I'll keep playing Billy until I get pretty good, his gameplay is super fun
What build are you running?
-
Make most perks good and it'll be less tedious knowing you're at the moment getting garbage like Buckle Up and Beast of Prey over Decisive Strike or BBQ and Chili is what makes the grind tedious.
-
To at least get good it won't take you too long but to master will take some good time.
-
Well let's play the PTB hope the devs see how it's nerfed too much. And pray to Jesus they make a more reasonable change. Then watch people still complain.
-
Though I don't main Clown I also think he isn't the worst killer.

Yes, all the associated maps get updated.
Crotus Prenn Asylum is the location; the variants are: Disturbed Ward and Father Cambell's Chapel.
Same with the MacMillian update; they only showed a few pics but the entire MacMillian estate location was updated.
Just got spooked figured they can at least show pictures from both maps.
-
Haddonfield they're probably taking time for balancing. Coldwind with all that annoying corn is probably taking graphical time. But glad they're getting to Crotus Prenn and heck they might turn the game into a likeable indoor map.
-
Professor what if they run it with Botany Knowledge or Desperate Measures?
-
If you have Nurse's you don't really need deathbound.
-
Nah it's good. If Ruin+Undying+Tinkerer gets changed it should be Undying instead of Tinkerer changed.
-
@ALostPuppy said:
Ok this one guy played one match and ruin and undying lasted 1:30 (which is more than enough time for ruin to be effective btw), we can all pack it up now, ruin and undying is fine!
No it wasn't effective it was also a four man escape. This is me trying to show Ruin+Undying isn't as busted as people make it out to be .
-
I've liked them overall. But I can't see bleep on Autohaven.

It could also open up avenues for more offerings, that could either increase or decrease the amount of noise hazards on maps.
Do you think some hazardous environment areas where you are injured would be cool like on Autohaven you could get caught in the car crusher. Or if there were pigs on Coldwind they'd bite you
-
Yeah that would be cool. Make the maps more lifelike
-
It's the player not the killer
-
Can't predict but because nostalgia I'd like The Thing to be a chapter
-
As a Legion main. Do you run Blood Echo? I've heard it is good on Legion and Plague.
-
Imagine complaining about Ruin-Undying. This comment was made by a Detectives Hunch gamer.

@Dwight_Fairfield said:
Personally no, I main Mikey, and he's one of the more well liked killers in my experience. But as a Hag main do you get a lot of dc's? @WishIcouldmain
No a few but no match enders
-
Blight was one of the killers the devs got balanced and right.
-
I just took up mainig Hag. And having really fun. Hag is unique because she might be the only killer were you can chill with gens going off. And know it just takes one hook to end it. When I hook someone I'll place one trap. Just one. And wait for someone to run and not crouch. Which is what survivors don't like you need to be patient with a hag. And yes a no trap Hag/ bad Hag is a nuisance since you know after looping her for five gens she'll have Noed and place all her traps around the hook.

I wouldn't recommend Corrupt Intervention on hag because it hinders your ability to set up your web of traps before survivors start running towards you.
Depends on the Hag
-
Here's what I recommend. Sloppy to give yourself time to set up traps while they're busy healing. MnA to help patrol your web of traps. And startle people to running. Make Your Choice so you can teleport back to a trap and down the unhooker Michi possibly the best Hag always runs it. And Corrupt to push survivors to your traps since waiting is boring. And also could allow you to choose a good three gen spot. So try Sloppy Butcher, Monitor and Abuse, Make your Choice, and Corrupt Intervention.
-
Dying Light and Blood Echo are good. But Blood Echo if not Plague or legion. Will need Sloppy with it.
-
Yeah Mobile does have many features. Embarrassing the other platforms
-
Well the Blight is the character the devs really got right.
-
Eventually they will. But the problem is that the devs don't fix things at a fast pace which is the real game problem. They do fix things they just take too long.
-
Clown buff or rework.
-
A simple idea I heard is keep the current effects. But add a 5/10/15 wiggle increased. Which I think is good, played right could help with tunnelers.
-
Calm Spirit on a MnA and Infectious Oni.
-
Freddy version 3.0 a blend of the Old Underwhelming Freddy and New Powerful Freddy. Now the abilities that come with new Freddy will stay but be tweaked. However falling asleep passively and with a hit is gone. And the old mechanic of you putting them asleep returns.
-
I don't know I kinda like the grind.
-
Blight will get tweaked very slightly. However Clown's rework is likely to get the spotlight.
-
I chose Trapper because he's the original and his add-ons can be implemented into his base.
-
A,B,C,D,E,F tiers I'd put them in D maybe C tier.
