Asexual representation I don't see the problem.
Would be best to create a fresh new character who's LGBTQ for the best possible lore in my opinion

I don’t think it’s conflicting lore at all, there’s nothing to believe Jake is straight or not in his lore. I don’t like the mindset that we assume straight unless told otherwise.
In my opinion if they wanted to create the best possible character who's LGBTQ it'd be better to do it from the ground up

TIL Loners don't have sexualities?
I could see them doing this with Jake, but I did expect them to make a new character for whatever they're planning. You wouldn't think it would take them a year to make a collaborative Tome for an existing character.
Just the way I view him as the survivor I play the most he just wants to be left alone.

Yes, which could tie in perfectly to a lore related to how queer people are isolated by society, similar to how Jane’s lore deals heavily with the racist stereotyping she deals with in her career.
Well I think genuine loner as he wants to be left alone. Though I see what you mean. If the devs wanted to add an LGBTQ+ character it'd be easier and safer to avoid conflicting lore to create a new one.
-
I don't see it with Jake to me he seems more of a loner if anything.

Yes, I am very pleased.
I'd like to see the perks though.
NOT happy about the new report system. Seems like you get auto-banned if you receive enough reports.
35.Anything else in the announcements that you believe are important?

Counterforce
Counterforce is an excellent perk, and I think it's a pretty fair one. It's basically the new Anti-NoED perk. Forget small game. You do have to find the first totem on your own, but after that, you can go around and bust them all. It's also totally fair, since it also only shows you the furthest totem. Well desgined perk all around.
Resurgance
I actually had a similar idea for the perk a while back. I think it'll be a pretty solid perk that can only be used twice per game. Good for anti-tunneling. It's a little better than second wind. Fairly limited in number of usage, but helps you out at your most vulnerable.
Blast Mine
Not sure how to feel about this perk. Kicking gens is going to be a pain, more so than it already is. I do appreciate the uniqueness of the perk. I"m not sure it's something I'd ever use. Ruin makes it completely useless, as does killers who just don't kick gens. Could be pretty useful in a 3-gen situation. Can't be paired with Repressed Alliance, I'm assuming?
Bite the Bullet
Eh, not a great perk. Might be useful for newbie players who regularly miss skill checks. I think it should have some kind of secondary effect.
Flashbang
Not sure exactly how it works on the survivor's end. But it's kind of like Pharmacy, but for Flashlights. Or well.. Firecrackers I guess. Could prove fairly useful against campers. Blind them, and then go for the unhook when they can't see.
Rookie Spirit
A good solo queue perk. You can sort of get an idea of what gens your team were working on with this. Low level requirements. Decent perk.
Lethal Pursuer
I had almost this EXACT idea last August. This perk will be very useful, I think. Yeah, it only lasts 7 seconds. (Insert: So Longer than Ruin, joke). But it lets you know where you should go, where you should try leading survivors to interrupt the most number of survivors. Also if you have a hex totem, you'll know if survivors are near it or not, and whether you need to head straight for it. Basically gives you a stronger start, not unlike Corrupt Intervention. (Though Corrupt makes the map smaller, but survivors can still spawn on generators).
Hysteria
Could be pretty interesting, though I think it needs to lose the basic attack requirement. Legion deserves a good perk, dammit!
Eruption
It's surge, but with a more targeted base. I'm not sure how long gens stay highlighted for, or how exactly it works? Does stopping regression turn the gen non-yellow? Doesn't seem like it does, I think? Which makes this perk interesting. Though I think the cooldown should be a little shorter maybe.
Lethal Pursuer I'd like to see it can really help weak early game killers who need to move like Myers or Plague. But be good on killers with a good early game like Hillbilly or Ghostface.

Yeah that understandable but I dont know why I want to suddenly play legion its just something so I am trying to be a better killer to make games fun for me and the survivors.
I don't main Legion but perks that can punish a survivor for staying injured is good on them like Thanataphobia, Blood Echo, or perks that boost his chase.
-
He's definitely on the weaker side of killers. You got two choices a build that gets them for not healing. And one that does.

The aura reading I can get on board with, but those others aren't exactly counters for Tinkerer, all those examples you gave is just the killer coming up to the gen with or without stealth.
They other two trigger when large progress is made on a generator when Tinkerer will proc soon.
-
@Gladonos said:

Flashbang has nothing to do with Tinkerer. The other 2 perks are 100% useless.
They have something to do with generators getting close to completion or regression they're not Great counters but I feel like the devs did it since Tinkerer became popular and the devs don't wan to need it.
-
@VikingWilson said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2216346#Comment_2216346
Which of the new perks counter Tinkerer?
Mine trap killer rushes over from Tinkerer to kick it with Pop they're blinded you get away.
Flashbang you're on the generator for 50 percent of it when the killer comes when it's 70 percent you throw it blind them get away.
Rookie Spirit you see any regressing generator you get to it before it's brought down low enough to trigger Tinkerer again.
The devs heard enough Tinkerer complaints and made perks to counter it. Like how they made Trickster to counter holding W.

Spine Chill, Premonition, and your eyes?
The devs didn't make my eyes, so that can't be the third.
From the new chapter. What do you think I meant?

He's the 2nd lowest picked Killer for a reason.
it isn't because he's bad, it's because he's boring. He doesn't do anything unique.
34.Temporarily off topic it's Nemesis, Leon S Kennedy, an Jill Valentine for Resident Evil and it seems Racoon City are you happy with the choices?

Give Charlotte her own ability so that nerfing Victor's slugging/camping abilities doesn't make them garbage.
Maybe give her a speed boost when Victor is attached.
33.Demo before the buffs was called underwhelming. But with buffs everyone say he's high up now with buffed base and add-ons. But why do you think he needs a change?
-
@Pulsar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2214339#Comment_2214339
I honestly have no idea.
He needs his whole power scrapped and turned into something more skillful and enjoyable.
32.Twins are also described as too good at slugging and camping but they have to or they suck. What's your proposed change for Twins?
-
Wraith was one of the few killers who was a threat to survivors choosing not to heal and that's has been alleviated more. And the map is often a make of break for how threating he can be.
-
I don't believe either should be changed. Nurse I personally think is simply stuck where she is. And we can't nerf Startstruck for having good synergy. Then we should nerf Stridor because it's so good on Spirit.
-
@Pulsar said:

Legion, Twins and my controversial pick, Demogorgon.
31.Legion is often described as boring just a mending simulator. As well weak with a power that is countered by basic survivor rules. What is your proposed changes?
-
It's gonna be a big lookback since the game has changed so much and will continue to grow more. But personally I'd like a new game mechanic been a while since we've had one.

You don't believe in Hag or Blight?
-
@Pulsar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2211872#Comment_2211872
I wouldn't even entertain them.
If they can't see that Spirit is an issue, then it's unlikely anything I could say would change their minds.
30. What other killers do you believe need a huge change?
-
@Pulsar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2210973#Comment_2210973
I do not believe she needs major changes.
She just needs a tell when she's phasing. My suggestion has always been to add passive phasing, so she flickers in and out of reality while phasing. That would give the Survivors more info (and destroy the stand-still mindgame) without butchering her power.
29.What would you tell the people who say Spirit does have fair counterplay?
-
Ruin is probably the most situational perk ever. It's either spawned right next to the survivor or in the middle of no where. And there are many killer perks that need a build to work like Nemesis, Blood Echo, Oppression, or Lullaby.
-
I'm not big on RE so I guess Nemesis he's the most iconic and has the most power options.
-
@Mdawgu said:
I thought the life of a nurse main was slugging at 5 gens.
If there wasn't a nerf I mean bugs.
-
It was expected since Resident Evil's got such a large cast of characters. And Nemesis is perfect for the game in RE 3 we see how despite being powerful he gets looped around the entire building breaking through walls and even getting sliced by a rock like it was Decisive Strike. He's a perfect fit for DBD

Well, I don't play Hag at all, so I literally have no idea. But I've seen some Hags get 4Ks on that map, so I think you are right.
The narrow pathways and areas of traffic being predictable make it a Hag heaven.
-

Well, Haddonfield is hard for pretty much everyone. Except Nurse, of course. You can manage it with Freddy, on my experience, but it is complicated.
Map's amazing on Hag from my experience.
-
That could've been more of Haddonfield if anything for the struggles. A Haddonfield is one of the few maps in my opinion that can be harder for Spirit.

Tinkerer plays a very big part in the trio tho. It doesn't regress but it alerts you to which gen should be popped. Put that on someone like blight or nurse or even spirit and its disgusting. Even too good on m1 killers imo
Personally never use all three it doesn't register in my mind to run Pop + Ruin. Would rather do Undying + Ruin or Pop + Thrilling. But I wouldn't say it's to threating on most M1s. For Trapper and Hag Tinkerer isn't that good because they can't move across the map to whatever gen. And since they're patrolling an are they don't need Tinkerer.. And on many others it won't do much since say the Stalky Bois, Huntress or Slinger can't get across the map easily. But yes it can be nutty on mobilities like Blight or Billy
-
Have you seen more Wraiths?
-
@Pulsar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2209844#Comment_2209844
Absolutely.
It's a boring experience for everyone
Let's move on to killers
28.Many killers are critiqued as boring but they have counterplay. A killer called boring but also unfair is Spirit. Unlike many she has been relatively unchanged despite the fact that the whole community seem to hate her. Many calls are to nerf her even by the top content creators. With critique of no counterplay since the survivor has no clue what she's doing. And often the people who defend her give little actual description of what they call counterplay. Do you believe Spirit needs major changes and what could be don to do this?
-
A great Hag who can place traps in unexpected spots, has great perks that even make Hag better, can teleport immediately, good add-ons like placing speed or range, as well she has no map dependence. She is in S tier yes she has counterplay but it's hard counterplay.

Almost every pallet is safe and the houses are ultra safe.
I suspect they can't change it too much because of the license, but Idk for sure
27. Do you believe Hawkins qualifies for a rework?
-
26. You did mention when playing survivor it's your favorite map how do you believe the devs made this map a balanced nightmare? And how has it been able to stay this way for so long?
-
@Pulsar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2208100#Comment_2208100
I'd like them too, but I'd honestly rather have a new map at this point
25. Of the remaining reworked maps which do you believe should be done first?
-
@Pulsar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2204432#Comment_2204432
I believe so.
Badham and Shelter Woods are both pretty awful, depending on RNG
24. Do you believe for the anniversary the devs should add a new map but still add a reworked one?
-
I hope so.
-
I can agree with that for example Deathslinger is understandably frustrating in the 1 vs 1. But he's lackluster everywhere else. The only killer in need of major nerfs is Spirit.
-
Oh no I have no idea what she's doing it must be because I'm bad at the game.

Tbh with his speed when cloaked maps aren't a problem really.
For his lunge it is.
-
Depends on the map.
-
When I'm one of the few killers who's fine on Haddonfield.
-
Hag because I don't want to deal with gens and I like a good plan in motion.
-
Spirit and the Stalky Bois.
-
Depends on the map on how devastating it'll be to face Wraith. One time Shelter Woods we were all dead at 4 gens. Then played against Wraith ran him for four gens then he gave up. But boring doesn't equal OP of course. Since the devs don't balance around how enjoyable it is to face a killer.
-
If you're going for those gens put on Thrilling Tremors.
-
The old graphics are more nostalgia then quality.
