Wraith and Nurse. Basically Wraith, but you can move through stuff while cloaked and during a post-decloak lunge .
-
It's an okay perk. 3 tokens are definetly few (and being able to regain them would be nice) but if used for the information they give rather than the direct effect, it's a very valuable perk.
-
Imagine being stunned for 12 seconds by a swf group throwing pebbles at you.
-
I agree, they went a bit overboard with the nerfs and some have no sense after they made FF non-lethal.
-
Until now my experience is pretty good. On the premise I don't have a good connection, so much that I can't play killer at home (I usually do at my gf's house), as survivors I see a little improvement, with ping definetly lower than before. As killer it hurts that many interactions/powers are delayed (and I experienced a bit of rubberbanding in one match as the Doctor), but it allows me to play at home so it's ok for me, and with a bit of practice I was able to compensate the lag for the most part.
In general though wierd stuff happens that didn't before.
-
The first option would be a cool (different) perk
-
If the last survivor jumps into a locker try doing a little moonwalk dance for him. A couple times it worked for me, it convinced the survivor to get out and get killed.
-
Personally, as I see others, I'd like a way to earn tokens in some way. Just increasing the number is a dull solution imo.

Why exactly do the devs want to implement dedicated servers again?
Because the community asks for them since 3 years.
-
It would definetly help in maps with big open areas where you can't use cover to hide better, like Blood Lodge.
-
The problem with sabo is that in it's current form it's not worth it, but if buffed it's a shitfest (as all veteran can confirm).
At this point I think it would be safer to rework it and allowing it to have some effects like increased chances to kobe, slower Entity progression etc. That would open to more interesting addons for toolboxes also.
-
The Trapper in good hands is terrifying and makes you scared of every step you make.
-
I agree, I find blendettes hilarious because they hide in the worst possible places thinking they are invisible.
-
Since when sexuality is important in this game? It's not mentioned anywhere, and honestly it doesn't need space. It's totally irrelevant and it would be out of place to mention it only for the sake of representation.
For what we know all characters could be LGBT, and if you want David King to be gay you can just think him that way, noone is stopping you.

Feng is pretty fun to whack. She sounds like a squeak toy
When she get hooked she always make me think of a boiling kettle.

Yes. I also love how it's difficult to memorize the layout since there are 5 variations, so each time there must be some exploration to get familiar with them.
-
Maybe because it was funny in the beginning, but after the nth time she grabbed a survivor from a gen out of the blue or she stood still at a pallet doing nothing and got a free hit people get tired of those uninteractive mechanics.
-
I honestly don't get why it's so important to have a skin to be "special", it won't magically make you special. The important thing is that it is cool, the fact that more people can have it doesn't make it any less.
-
Nah, let Myers be unique.
-
I think 5$ is a fair price for a cosmetic, 10$ is still reasonable but a bit too much to buy more than one per character. If they costed less I would have bought more.
-
-
It seems against good Nurses the average IQ of my teammates drops drastically, and if just one gets slugged I already know the match is done.

Pig used to have a 28 meter TR. Dunno why it was changed.
The devs response to this is usually "consistence". Which is also the reason the answer to OP's question is no.
-
Actually I don't see people complain about looping since quite a while, and rightfully so since it got nerfed a lot. The main complaint nowadays is about "gen rush".
-
Hag. Love her but people play her like ######### and teammates who don't know how to hold the crouch button don't help.
-
I think Legion should get buffed in their mobility. They currently feel very sluggish, both when running and when vaulting, and since mobility is their trademark I would emphasize it more, especially since their power is non-lethal.
Another thing I would change is to reduce the drawbacks of their power. Again, it's a non-lethal power, unusable to down survivors. There's no reason they should deplete their power gauge when missing an attack or landing a basic attack. Just having them going through the normal cooldown for missed attacks would be enough.
-
Honestly not cleansing doesn't achieve much. In all the matches were survivors were adamant on staying broken they all ended dead. All they achieved was to get me bored since I ended up not using my power anymore.
This idea that a powered up Plague is an unbeatable force of nature is totally wrong imo. A Plague with Corrupt Purge can easily be countered with stealth since she has to go out of her way to reach a fountain (unlike Myers who can tier up right behind you).
All in all, there are times where you should not cleanse, and times when you should.
-
I agree that the last lunar event was the best one gameplay wise.
-
It's a meme-tier perk, it's mostly good at making you giggle, but the situations where it is really useful are very limited.

Hah, I see!
But in the stage 2 system where killers had to kill, was there a marked difference in killer ranking quality?
Also, the way Killers had to Kill to rank while Survivors kept the BP system, it just shows you that the game is really not designed for survivors to survive.
Survivors are really meant to do stuff in game, and die. And if you happened to survive, well then that's just icing on the cake. Doesn't it?
In a certain way yes. With the BP-related rank you could have total potatoes at rank 1, with the Victory Cube rank 1 killers where the most tryhards and prone to dirty tactics to get kills. Being a rank 1 survivor (which was extremely easy) was overall a bad experience, so many deranked on purpose to stay in the green rank.
-
The lack of blood on the neck makes matching the bloody head with other cosmetics better imo
-
I almost never use Ruin. The difference between with and without is that with you play with 3 perks most of the time, but if you try to protect the totem you won't get anything done.
Not really worth it imo.
-
Personally I'm not a fan of moris in general, since their conditions are really situational (cypress) or too easy to accomplish. They don't add much to the game except frustration for the survivors
Devour Hope is a lot better from many point of views: needs input/strategy from the killer to work, is powerful enough to make survivors ######### themselves but at the same time is counterable in more than one way.

I suggest you to check this thread, there's a way to remove it

We find the file engine.ini, located here - C: \ Users \ YOUR ACCOUNT NAME \ AppData \ Local \ DeadByDaylight \ Saved \ Config \ WindowsNoEditor "
Open file and paste these lines there and save:
[/Script/Engine.RendererOverrideSettings]
r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=0
Done, no more soap.
But yeah, it's a terrible addition. I play on low with low resolution because my PC is old, and it was like I needed a pair of glasses just in the lobby, I didn't even tried to play in that condition.
-
What do you want devs to do against people that dedicated so much time to get very good at the game? To break into their homes and break their fingers?
If they are so good, you should get better or move on and enjoy the game as a casual (which is in general a good thing imo).

@Jimsalabim said:
you can fix it by adding those line to engine.ini
[/Script/Engine.RendererOverrideSettings]
r.DefaultFeature.Bloom=False
r.DefaultFeature.AmbientOcclusion=False
r.DefaultFeature.AmbientOcclusionStaticFraction=False
r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=False
r.DefaultFeature.LensFlare=False
r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=0
Thanks a lot

About the shred breaking pallet I won't comment since I haven't played against it, but judging from the numbers it doesn't seem that bad since the Hillbilly can do the same since the beginning of the game.
As for the matchmaking, what is better, your newbie friends facing a high rank killer with you there to help them (and help them get better), or a lone newbie killer facing many high rank survivors?
-
It's just a side effect of the change. I think it's intentional since oblivious affect anything TR related, OoO included.
-
Honestly I regret buying the Plague. The meta of do-the-gens-and-don't-give-a-######### developed to face her makes her very boring to me since I end up using my power 4 times in a match and then I can forget about it.
Also the halloween skin for the Doctor (with event currency). I like more the victorian one and only use that. I should have bought the Dwight's skin instead.
-
Myers is probably the funniest. It can be a bit frustrating when someone feeds him, but in general you never know what to expect of him.
The least fun imo is the Hag, since she gives two choices: crouch or get camped/tunneled. She is great on paper and in the hands of some, but how most play her is... eww.
(Dis)honorable mention: the Hillbilly and the Spirit. The killers are great but it seems most of who play them don't know what fun is (for example if you are clearly memeing, most killers play along even for just one sec. Those two instead don't give a f)

Personally I think buffing back his vaulting speed would help a lot. His power is not usable anymore to down, there's no reason for him being a slug (so easily abused) when vaulting.
-
I'd love it. It probably wouldn't change much from a gameplay perspective, but that soundtack is amazing for the atmosphere and to give a sense of imminent danger.

Upon missing an Ambush Attack, the Pig will be stunned and unable to crouch for 4 seconds.
How can I delete someone else's post?

but I realized that if you don't rely on the insta down too much and just play as stealthy as you can be, you will do pretty good
Make Your Choise is very good for that reason, it works very well with his stealth and allows to waste less time stalking survivors.

That lighting was actually changed due to popular demand. Many people liked the new lighting more than the old, so we kept it. It's not exactly impossible to bring it back, but it wouldn't be something we'd consider doing unless there was boatloads of support. Some are going to like one more than the other, and there's not really a clear favourite.
Wouldn't it be possible to add customization options for the lobby in the store, with also some of the old event themes?
-
I would like to know as well. It's been a while since we had news about it, but probably they've been buisy with dedicated servers.

As a Rank 1 Survivor, I think it has come to the point accepting you’re not going to survive most games.
In my 50 recorded games last season, I only escaped 22. This was all at R1 and solo.
24 of the games resulted in a 4K.
Chasing has been nerfed extremely hard over DBD’s lifespan. You can Stealth, but everyone runs tracking perks.
Unfortunate, but that’s the way it is now for a solo player.
I think this is the main problem with the game currently. Killers are stronger than ever, and just like the healing nerf pushed survivors to avoid the problem and developing the no-heal meta, this led survivors to avoid contact with the killer and rush the gens/exit asap. Problem is killer-survivor interaction is the core of the game.
The Plague is the epitome of this: even if everyone is broken but can heal quickly with fountains, they don't give a ######### and try to rush gens. They don't want to "waste" time healing, they don't want to face a stronger killer (with Corrupt Purge), they don't want to engage chases. They don't want to play, they only want to finish it as quickly as possible.
Personally I think it's a problem for killers as much as survivors, since it leads to short games with minimal interaction, which usually end in "most escape" or "most die", with little inbetween.
All in all it could be that it was being said that they wanted to buff solo survivors and then make killers stronger, but till now they didn't much for the former.

Being harder doesn't grow the player base, which is one of the reasons games such as ow, league of legends hell even Fortnite I think have group xp bonuses - so that you bring your friends into the game to play. Plus it encourages people to play more often.
Playing in a group offers already many advantages, while solo survivors get the short straw. That would be just a huge "######### you" to them and could potentially push them away. And don't forget that solo survivors are a lot (on average they are 2 each match, iirc), so they aren't negligible.
