Bond and Iron Will are a godsend for a solo survivor.
-
I seriously doubt that the issues that the devs described only appeared as they were about to launch it. They must have known a little bit before that.
They probably thought/hoped they would be able to fix the patch in the time.
-
It's a poor's man Agitation.
-
It can be pretty dang good.
Not saying it can't, but the perk is extremely map reliant. Use it in any corn map or some big one and you'll rarely (if ever) see it proc.
-
Bing Bong, if you pick someone else you're wrong.
-
Definetly no, you can do good chases even without.
-
Glad I'm not the only one.
Now, about the other voices I hear...
-
Is everything ok?
-
I think sabo in its current form is unhealthy because just little number changes can make it totally worthless or borderline OP with a very hard to reach middleground, so it would be better to scrap the idea of destroying hooks and rework it to make it do something else, like slowing Entity progression, increasing chances to kobe etc.
-
Personally my only problem with Spirit is that as survivor you don't know when she is actually using her power, leading to the stand-still-and-win strategy many use at pallets which is the epitome of what you describe.
When Spirits don't do that, I actually enjoy her though since you need to use your brain to trick her (but I always play with Iron Will, so I might be biased).
edit - Just faced a Spirit without Iron Will. It sucks balls.
-
Sooooo.....I'm gonna make it unfun for Spirits.
The killer most likely doesn't give a damn, you're just making it unfun for your teammates.
-
Never happened to me.
-
I hope sounds won't get screwed up as it happened with every engine update.
-
But actually no.
-
I don't remember exactly my first match (it was 3 years ago) but I remember beartraps. A lot of beartraps, all under the hooks.
-
Punished? The match gets handed to you on a silver platter whenever someone ragequits especially at the beginning. You might loose some sacrifice points, but unless you stomp the remaining survivors you should be able to compensate easily.
-
As much as I like him, I have to say the Clown. Other killers have usually more than one strenght (yes, even Legion and Bubba), the Clown is only strong in chases and that's it.
-
I don't know how feasible it would be, but it would be a very cool addition, especially if it allowed to spectate a match from all points of view.
-
Aside from the others' suggestions, I'd add to always look carefully around as soon as you spawn to know precisely where you are in the map and the possible directions from which the killer can come. This is important because it allows you to move using the proper cover to avoid LoS from those directions (and so the killer).
-
Survivors currently have a chat box before and after the match. How many times they used the first to coordinate, tell their perks and define strategies? And how many times they use the second to insult someone or complain or in general to be toxic?
Now apply this to voice chat. Now you should understand.
-
The perk's main strenght is the surprise effect, remove it and it will be way less useful.
As a survivor you can just always pretend the killer has NOED unless proved otherwise, especially when he isn't doing very well.
-
Yes she does. From my experience I think the range of the sound is no more than 2 meters though.
-
The aura reading part of keys is definetly underpowered, an personally I don't like when someone uses the hatch and leaves teammates behind to die to the EGC. This seems like a good sidegrade to me.
-
From The Void She Kills. I did it in a time when there were no perks to reduce the heartbeat aside from Insidious which had a longer timer than now. If I remember right I managed to get it in a match were survivors wanted to farm and by chance I had a 3 blinks build, so they basically allowed me to get it.

Even immersed Claudettes have to touch a gen at some point.
With some game sense you can guess when she is coming to your gen (except at the start of the match when you don't know who's the killer)
-
If it would be possible, I bet you would regret it because of how strong killers would become being able to hear stuff which usually is covered by the music.
-
The point of the Hag is that she can chase and hit survivors without moving, which is not true for the other killers you mentioned. Sure, she needs some perk to buy time at the beginning (like Corrupt Intervention), but the reduced movement speed is there to balance her potentially very strong power.
-
I think it removes a huge chunk of skill needed to play Spirit, but I don't find it particularly strong, maybe because it can't do much against stealth and in chases it doesn't add much.

Well excuse me but are you a 20 ranked? Because I am in red ranks and survivors don't "Freak Out", the see me, ok, they just go away, staying out of sight. A red ranked survivor will understand quickly that if it takes me a lot of time to tier up to EW3, there is something strange. Plus, while I play as survivor and I go against a Myers who walks abnormally slowly (because yes, when you are high ranked, you notice these kind of things) and takes an eternity to stalk people, you know he runs Judith's tombstone, so then, what you actually do to "survive" is to hide in a locker instead of letting him mori you.
The point is: baby ranked survivors are affraid of it because they don't know how to counter it, and run like headless chicken to run from michael instead of taking time to stay out of sight, so they don't want a buff on it because they "think" it is already OP
High ranked survivors: Notice quickly a Judith's tombstone is runned and know how to counter it extremely easily. Plus, gives opportunities of hardcore looping and gen rushing.
Well excuse me but are you a 20 ranked?
Not gonna bother to answer...
-
If he didn't get stunned it means you dropped the pallet too early.
-
I like the idea of earning my mori, and I usually do it only for dailies. If I really can't do it with DH, I'll use an Ivory though.

Hooded... likes to kill black characters... mmmh 🤔

These toxic stereotypes are definetly annoying. I stopped playing bald Dwight and Nea because I see killers tend to be more aggressive towards those skins, while with my main Jake I rarely see this.
And yeah, toxicity calls toxicity. A simple concept yet many struggle to grasp it.
-
Personally the only thing I would change is the reload, it's definetly too long considering he only got 4 bottles at base. It would be nice if the reload time depended on how many bottles you have.

By pressure, I mean defending the gens. Myers is not doing that if he is holding PWYF stacks for Tombstone (which would be noticable because Myers moving like molasses would indicate Tombstone, and Myers deliberately losing chases to the Obsession would indicate Play With Your Food), so Survivors are able to maximize gen efficiency knowing that Myers isn't doing anything to stop them.
You forget how survivors freak out if they spot Myers stalking them, especially if he is taking a lot of time tiering up, which can be used to scare them off gens. My point is that it's doable with some strategy, and JT being the strongest addon in the game it's supposed to be hard to use it.
-
Iridescent Heads + Infantry Belt is, imo, unrivaled. Huge enhancement of an already strong power with minimal downside.
-
That makes it almost useless because all of the match, Michael is very slow so he can't reach easily survivor, making him easy to loop all the game.
The fact is that when using that addon you're not supposed to reach and chase survivors, but only to stalk for most of the time. That's Michael's thing in the movies and the addon reflects that.
Also with Play With Your Food (which you should have when using Judith's Tombstone), that addon can easily destroy a whole team. Buffing it would be insane.
-
I think BBQ is perfectly fine. As a survivor I get found by BBQ only when I want to, there are so many counters to that perk alone it's almost insane. The last addition of making the survivor's health bar flashy when he gets picked up helped a lot (on the other hand, it made the combo BBQ+Make Your Choice+Knock Out way less effective, so I'm a bit sad about that)
-
I'm having the same experience, most of the times I get paired with people 8-10 ranks below mine.
-
I know console users have been begging for exclusives since day one on console
But why? What good do you get from having something other people can't obtain?
-
Especially if used along with Detective's Hunch.
-
His sound design is definitely amazing.

Who cares about griefing intent? As survivor either you play casual, accept its easy to die in this game and let the killer kills you OR you tryhard on and think this is competitive and try to outrun him. It really doesn’t matter what the killer “wants” to do since his purpose is killing people.
Griefing is literally among the bannable offenses. Just saying...
-
If you are left alone, you might as well suicide since trying to open a gate is useless most of the times.
-
If they put in the Rift and the event, people would probably complain they can't keep up with both, especially since events change how the game is played.
-
I agree, seeing survivor's names serves no gameplay purpose. The only times it's helpful is when there's an swf team with similar/thematic names, but those are rare since it induces killers to dodge.
@PGJSF said:
So you are arguing that a KILLER shouldn’t be able to decide who to KILL? #########
If that implies a clear griefing intent, yes.
-
Nurse for me. It always looks like she shouldn't have hit me, and still...
-
The thing I hate the most about it is that I never get slugged when I play with Unbreakable X(
-
a large percent of her skill cap was removed
How making the use of a power requiring more tactical thought instead of mindless spam reduces the skillcap? To me it would increase it.
-
Of course, people who love the doctor are going to whine about this topic and to you people I say hush. You killers have your broken perks, so no more of your whining. To those who say I am whining, whatever man. This is simple and to the point for this topic. If you disagree, then you disagree. If you agree, then feel free to add to this or discuss.
How to open a constructive discussion 101
-
I think it would be a cool addition. Considering how devs work, it would be tied to a perk though.
