  • I am just saying this I played four killer matches today with all different killers. I manually used my bloodpoints that were all about 150-200k per match. Of those four killers three got three cakes with those bloodpoints and one got only one. So have to admit I don't see a much of a problem if you can get three after one match and even if use one next match you are still going to be gaining about 1-3 cakes more every match.

  • I personally don't mind the current one and you can still play him like the old one by using the add-on. Did that sometime ago and it was still fun.

  • Halloween chapter saw trailer of him coming to the game and bought it soon after. This was like week or two after his release.

  • I have to admit I have nothing against the frequence I am getting cakes in the bloodwebs. Most likely going to be downvoted a lot but I just wanted to state my opinion of it.

You lose out of proof of purchase with the in-game store, nor do you get
a bonus cosmetic or charm like with other dlc's, you can't familiy share among other things.
Just see all the issues with people losing out of their coins and stuff atm.

Or people would want to support the game but don't want to use money in the ingame store.

  • Its quite survivor sided on features when killer gets clown bottles with good slowdown and ability to poison stuff that seems mostly pointless.

Had more fun in the earlier anniversaries as it was more interactive even for the killer side. Like even bloodmoon event was more interesting for me.

  • There is no point to poison anything as there is no real value for the killer to even see when he does. I only did it sometimes when I had full four stag of poison but even then I don't think it much mattered. The most efficient way to use it is in the chase as you can't even really do anything else with it anyway that matters much.

I have to admit the masquerade abilities were way more interesting to play with. In this version its just chase survivors and get them poisoned to get the hit eventually when they can't run anymore if you did not get it before.

Maybe the only thing worth poisoning is the main table I don't really see why waste them on the carts.

Only if you can hit them with the blast mine before repressed Alliance otherwise blast mine isn't going to be doing a lot

I have had matches where it has worked as the killer will try to kick it eventually. So if they can't kick it rightaway they will try after they finish chasing the survivor they might been chasing.

  • Its reported few times in the bug reports. Original reports status is "Community Verified Issue" so its on the radar.

Not quite sure about that. Don't forget that original chapters ALSO dont have to be bought with cash. Licensed chapters are guaranteed cash while alot of ppl use shards to buy the original characters. 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

Still I would imagine most people will buy them with money because they want to support the game. Later people might unlock them with shards but in the end I would imagine the sales are what makes them more money as license will always cut profit because of their cut.

I’m sure Jason will get some adjustments once the sales numbers are within the target range. Right now, Jason outclasses a lot of similar killers, like Wraith, Huntress, etc. After a month or so, once enough revenue has accumulated, they will address it. That’s just the usual process.

My Dredge would love some extra lockers on certain maps too. Too bad he is not a licensed killer with heavy marketing behind him.

He will get changed in the mid-season patch as thats when they do buffs or nerfs. After release patches are mainly for bug fixing. Still in reality Behavior would want original chapters to sell better than the licensed as on originals they don't need to share the money with anyone.

  • Hag is the one that needs a rework the most.

  • I think next one I would want to see is Gozer from Ghostbusters.

Or Man-Thing from Marvel Comics would have cool mori and would fit the game well as he is from the classical monsters side of Marvel.

  • This is a bug some reason there is quite many odd things going on with Trickster's Illusion. It can be even game breaking for Jason as he can get stuck on the stall in the market because of those wrongly spawned pallet scrabs. Its been reported and its currently Under Investigation so most likely fixed in the next patch hopefully.

You have the wrong idea, so your post has nothing to do with the question.

It has nothing to do with emblems. For example once getting downed reduces your emblem to gold, but it doesnt change your escape bps. Its even possible to get max bp while not escaping. Both (emblems and BP) profit, generally speaking, from playing well and having enough time, so they seem to depend on each other, but thats not the case.

Yeah sorry I was mistaken. Thanks for pointing it out respectful way. Still I was correct on the fact that you still need to gain them in all groups as you only can get only 10k in one so some reason was focusing on that and mixed up stuff.

that happens regardless of a feature like this, it's so far and few between

We'll probably get emotes and what not with the new dbd version too, it only makes sense. No reason to deny the community fun because of bad actors, slugging is far worse for that anyways as is bodyblocking.

could do a kind of visual and sound feedback of the other survivor colliding with the pallet but not actually stunned, it'd just be hillarious to see a visual recoil when it's unintentional.

Yeah but currently it will not cause any more hinderance to the other survivor than them getting moved by the pallet. Its going to get people annoyed more if they literally have to pick themselves up from the ground because another survivor does something like that. Currently its less punishing to the receiving end and in the end that is better than making a mechanic that will only hurt the one who gets inflicted by it by not their choice.

You dont need all emblems to be iridescent to get 40k.
    As an example:
Cleansing 5 totems, hitting a great wiggle skillcheck at least 6 times when you get carried (which is 3 seconds of wiggling, gets you 900 points per carry, which is 2700 points total) gets you 10k bloodpoints in Survival.
You get iridescent if you escape without ever being downed(otherwise its gold or lower).

As for the rest of your comment, you should read up on the scoring table that's on the wiki, because respectfully, you're not informed enough about the topic and/or your info is severely outdated.

You still can get only 10k on each so you can't get more from one. So you in the end have to do well on all. Still yeah I overthought it and mixed up things but still you do need to get balance to get good points on all.

  • This would be just used to grief people already sandbag others by dropping pallets there is a topic just this week on the general side where someone got pallet dropped on their face by another survivor while they were being tunneled and the other survivor was not even running from the killer.

  • In my random builds sometimes. You either get nice value out of it if people try to be too alturistic or you get nothing from it if they just don't try to take any protection hits.

  • I have been spending time in Betahub and they are quite active there and it works way better than the forums ever did. Still they have limited ammount of people doing them so expecting everything to be done as fast as can be is little bit unrealistic. Still it can depend also on what they are working on. Some bugs most likely are faster to fix because they are already working on something related to it. Some others might take time because they aren't and are not always that simple to fix as people might think. Still even if a bug gets fixed does not mean there can't be similar or a variation of the bug still present in the game. Thats why it needs to be reported again with new logs to show that its still a problem.

one of my fav builds atm is Flow State, Counterforce, Boon: CoH and Boon: Shadowstep coz of the uptake in hex builds with jason.

Flow State is the one I often pick as the any perk option that can happen in my builds. Love that perk it just fits in with most perks.

Usually my escape rate is around 40 percent, but the last 30 days I've been doing a lot better, maybe because I kind of thrive against ranged killers since i play them mostly.l

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/C1KBUE9J4JVW/image.png

I do also play with friends in some sessions though, so it's a mix of both. Seems their balance is working as intended overall, my high escape rate probs comes from all the newer jasons since he just came out. Not to mention I've been really selfish recently and left if I felt I couldn't save solo.

p.s. I love vigil don't hate me, it's a great perk for helping randoms with debuffs <3 I've used it in most of my builds since it came out, even before the live balance changes, that will never change.

My Last 30 Day escape rate is 45.59% and thats with even trying some saves I should had not tried. All are solo queue matches and I play random builds too so I am not stacking the deck for my benefit. So have to admit everytime someone complains of soloq being impossible or similar I just roll my eyes.

I like the spikes in general. Granted, I almost never see them fully block a Gen, but I like the visuals and the sounds. But they appear after 4 Kicks or so? Which is really irritating for me, because I always think "Wait, I should not be that close to the limit" and in reality, I am not close to it.

Another advantage of the proposal would be that a Killer can see before they kick the Gen how many Kicks are left. Would help with decision making to kick it right now or maybe risk it to wait a bit longer when there is a PGTW to use on that Gen.

I would say being halfway point is quite close and makes sense they start appearing because you are going now closer to the limit than the start point.

  • Or you could leave for any petty reason if there would not be DC penalty and you most likely would. The DC penalty is not for the people who "play the game" its for the people "who decide that they don't want to play the game" in the middle of the match.

DC penalty was one of the best things they ever added to the game and because of that matches have been way better.

  • You are not getting kicked out your connection to the server is failing that has nothing that behavior can fix its your providers problem. If you get penalties you lost connection to the server.

  • Huntress = CoconutRTS

There is no question about that one.

  • I don't like people who try to ruin others matches. I would do that too and have done it before. Still not the tunneling part I don't play like that. Like if the other survivor is intentionally trying to sell another out or sandbag them I will rather then kill the one doing it.

  • Well that is odd question as to get 40k you need get all emblems to Iridescent.

Evader is not effected by any of the perks as its just counting the time you are chased. Still as you get +50 points for every pallet stun you could run Any Means Necessary so you can get more oportunities to stun the killer

Benevolent is the unhooking, healing and save survivor from killer grasp actions so any perk that makes those faster/easier. Still you can also use Saboteur as you can get points of sabotaging hook if the survivor wiggles off the killer 10 meters of it.

Unbroken you just need to not get downed. So any perk that can help you prevent that most likely

Lightbringer is in the end the only category where you can effect with perks as you can get points of cleansing totems, fixing generators, if someone else cleanses totem while you are chased and getting chased by the killer when others are fixing gens. So any perk that can help you to achieve those.

So to looking that Lightbringer seems to be the only one that you can effect that much and Benevolent in some degree too.

  • Premonition

Its one if not the best information perk for survivor. It counters any undetectable or killer power that prevents detection as it currently even activates when Xeno is in its tunnels, Springtrap going through doors etc. It can't be countered and it always works. It will help you avoid killer quite easily as for example you are fixing a gen it activates just start moving away from the gen walking you usually have time to get quite decent distance and then just wait until the killer gets bored, somehow finds you or leaves. Works surprisingly well too trust me. You can synergy it with Fixated or Urban to move even faster.

the hell is happening in Australia that they got 12 minute killer queues

It would have been between 5.20-7.20 am for them so most likely only that most of the playerbase are sleeping and not playing the game.

    Nurse

It's boring being walked down by a nurse. I want the strongest killer in the game to use her power. I suggested a charge recovery buff to compensate.

You could also give her a dynamic walking speed: If she blinked recently she has her current walk speed, but after time spent not blinking she slows down.

    Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance

Despite that, it's one of the best killer perks and has the highest pickrate. My issue is the strongest killers can tunnel someone out and then have an easy 3v1 that's enabled by perks like Pain Res. The game would be more interesting if perks like Pain Res forced you to decide between a tunnel out or your Pain Res tokens.

No surv team would take an early death to deny Pain Res - if it was beneficial (like 1 gen left) then the killer should lose anyway, because why did it take you that long to get a kill when you have Pain Res available?

They could buff the numbers but I don't think it'll be needed. Also at least 10 survivor perks should be nerfed imo, so I think this would be fair.

You do know that survivor running speed is 4.0m/s? Nurse's as said is 3.85m/s so she is slower than you so if you get caught by her moving normally either you played really badly or she is using one of the add-ons that make her faster with limitations like she can't blink while being faster. So in those cases she is using her power that is modified by the add-ons.

Pain Resonance power is not in the regeression but in the fact how it combines with other perks. Nerfing it will not be the right choice as it will still not effect those perks that it combos with that are in reality stronger than it.

I mean, I even wrote that I dont think it is needed to abandon in the sacrifice animation. And I also dont abandon in the Mori animation to give the Killer a middlefinger, I only do it because I think that Moris are pretty cringe (especially the new ones). I dont mind being sacrificed as the last Survivor, but I just dont like Moris.

But your suggestion really changes nothing for the Killer player. I can only repeat, they want to see the Mori, and they get to see the Mori. No reason to force the Survivor to see it.

You seem to miss the point that its the way to free limitation of the abandoning that is the problem not the seeing the mori.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4091979#Comment_4091979

The only reason why you want to have it is to rub in the victory. I dont really understand it - the Killer is the one who wants to see the Mori and the Killer gets to see the Mori, regardless if they mori a Bot or the actual player.

    @Topic:

I would not mind it. Having seen the sacrifice animation a gajillion times, I can understand why people want to skip it. That being said, since Abandoning affects the MMR, I dont think it should be available basically every time you are about to die.

And personally I also dont think it is a high priority issue.

Sorry but I can make the same argument in the other direction as I already did. You want to have it because you want to do what I said or have the privilige to leave the match free. My suggestion does not change anything else than let the killer mori the character if they don't they can then abandon. Them being able to do that on the first second they go down is silly and in reality annoying to part of the playerbase.

I don't care to rub anybody anyway I just want do the mori without hearing the abandoning sound everytime unless the survivor is nice and does not abandon. I have no reason to do anything else but why its ok that killer can't have their mori in peace but its ok that survivor can leave on the first second they get down as the last survivor?

Still if you would know anything about me on this forum you would know I am not pro-killer I am person who looks both sides of the coin and in my opinion in this its not fair to the killer players at all.

  • Yeah the so called "final fu" to the killer player. I already see this as a problem with the current abandoning system. I am still in that camp that it needs about 5-10 second grace period before abandoning option comes available.

  • I have been saying his power should not show people doing objectives. Would at least make him have to go listen if someone is doing them not just see them and pop out.

  • There has been tons of things in trailers that did not appear in the game. Have you seen Jason's shack in the game?

  • We have no proof that those are going to even be cosmetics.

  • Some times the complainer has a point. They are not always saying it because they are mad just frustrated that they might be left on the hook to die from first hook of the first hook of the whole match or survivor with no hook stages runs to the hook but decides to not save because killer comes when they could have done it easily even if it would have resulted into a trade. That leading to the other survivor dying on hook. In both of those cases I feel like the person in question has the right to be a little bit upset and would say its little bit hard to have fun with the game when that happens would you not agree?

Its another matter if they are complaing about normal gameplay or perks.

  • Not to mention you should report a bug to a bug reports as how can devs fix an issue that they don't know about. Still a picture of what the issue or video would be nice so we could see if there is even an issue.

It's around half of consolers still rocking the prior gen machines. Too many players to lose.

They are not losing anyone those still will run with 60fps. They are asking for an option that those that can run 120fps would be able to. Like are you thinking all PC players are running the game on 120fps.

  • Anyone other who cares to know the answer. It counts as a loss for the survivor. Only time abandon on survivor side is not a loss is if you are the last survivor who is not a bot already in the match and thats considered draw.

  • I could even bet that there will be some changes in the newest patch already so that is my guess.

  • Any license can be reacquired but when the other game as exlusive rights its not possible until those relapse.

One part of his kit I don't know if its a bug or not. You still scream while still in a locker. So atm if its a bug or a feature not even lockers can counter him.

Its a bug and it would not matter if you don't scream as the locker will not block the killer instinct that he also gets so he would know you are in there.

  • @Icaurs said:

Jason is such a weird killer and the "Counterplay" that people are suggesting is so strange.

So the general counterplay is "Crouch" or actively throw yourself at him to get chases, which has never been a thing in DBD. Even with other killers, including killers who are Anti stealth in their design, still allow for some degree of stealth. Terror radius or lockers can be used to avoid the killer or at least move preemptively but Jason offers no indication and now way to tell if he's right behind you or half way across the map and "the grass moving," is not a reliable way to tell.

Ok, so you crouch to avoid the killer ok, fair enough, but this is what is starting to happen.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/QV5V0VTUUBQ1/image.png

The survivors are loading in, just stealthing waiting for him to find someone. Yes, the survivors know they have to do a gen to win, but they also know if they start a gen he is going to teleport on top of them and the 1st survivor found often the least likely to escape.

Even if survivors don't do this, this power drags matches out to a crawl. I thought we all agreed that Skull Merchant was miserable to go against because she dragged matches out for 20 minutes? Why is this suddenly fine for Jason? Because he is strong?

We all agree what the problem is, the omnipresent ability.

I stated in another thread that I feel like he should not be able to see the red stain thing of survivor if the survivor is doing objectives. Like if they are cleansing totem, repairing gen, opening chest etc. That way at least the killer has to come to check and listen if the survivor is there an not just see the stain a go pop out. This would give survivors that little security to fix the gens and it would also not hurt to give him longer power charging in the start of the trial.

How its currently is just grinding the matches to halt anytime he is in power.

  • What keeps you coming back?

The gameplay loop brings me back. There is no other game like this and I like how it plays. That is most likely the only reason I ever stop playing this if they start messing with it too much.

What slice of gameplay gives you the biggest rush?

When things just go together. When you get that one match where all your decision are the right ones on either side. Like you chose the right choice that counters the killers or survivors tactic.

What is the most satisfying thing in the game to you?

Getting some really good long range hits or power hits. Getting value out of really odd perk combinations. Random moments that make you go "What just happened?". I do also like to bug hunt.

  • Sorry but wiggling off is meant to be only possible if the killer over extends trying to go to hook too far or he is slowndown by other survivors. Its never meant to be your primary way to get off the killers grasp. Your statement of 75% is ridiculous and stupid as if that would be the reality nobody would be hooked and all killers would slug as there would not be any point to try to hook anyone when 3/4 tries they would not succeed. I can do the benefit of the doubt and you mean that 25% of the time you should get off and even then thats also totally unrealistic as that would mean every fourth hook attempt would fail. If you try to claim it was more common back in the day you are even mistaken of that as it was not and I know I have played this game from 2016.

You might think you are stating a point that others would really agree on but with your changes nobody would play killer or if they would they would be just slugging all survivors. So would you enjoy laying on the ground the whole match than play it like its now?
