He equipped the perk, and play the whole game with only three perks. If there is a totem alive at the end, then NOED should take it over. The Killer deserves for his perks to work.

A change is definitely needed here.

No, there is no change needed. When I run a shaman build with more than one hex perk, it is up to me to get pressure so I can keep the survivors running. Hex perks are a gamble, you accept it when you use it. He could have lost ruin in the first 30 seconds, and still had all 4 totems destroyed and played the game with only 2 perks. That is the gamble with hex perks.

  • This is working as intended. If you run more than one totem, this is how it should work. You got the benefit of ruin the whole time, but for the EGC it is useless. You had NOED, but if you finished before the gens were done, NOED is useless. Either way, totems are powerful, but risky.

No change needed here. Working as it should.

  • If you depip in a 2k, you did not get enough chase or hooks more than likely. That is usually a result of hard camping or tunneling. I've had plenty of matches where all 4 get away and I don't depip. Why? Lots of chases, 7 to 8 hooks, several kicks, nearly every pallet broken, multiple survivors dropped, but not hooked. It's called pressuring the map and knowing when to drop a chase in order to clear a gen.

No doubt that survivors are very powerful in SWF at red ranks, but good killers average 2k vs them. Sorry, but if I can avg 2k a match with Trapper, then it is not impossible.

  • Meyer's breathing has always been his bane. I've never been surprised by scratched mirror Meyers because you hear the breathing, you then hear the clunky footsteps and can tell direction. You take off and enjoy a long chase with his slow butt.

  • I main Trapper and will admit he has issues, but is far from useless. You can't play him like you do other killers. You have to be willing to give up ground while setting up a portion of the map as your hellish playground.

Being creative with traps help as well. Sure, trap some of the usual spots just to keep the survivors honest, but toss in some surprise double traps, or a trap in an open area, then herd them towards it .

Most of my matches are snowball matches. Little pressure at first with the loss of 2 to 3 gens. Then it is like a wall comes up and they can't do anything but run.

Allowing Trapper to carry more traps as base kit, and to step over his traps might go a long way to help his viability.

  • @TragicSolitude said:

Yup. I'll hit a couple survivors at the beginning of the match as 'proof of life,' then I go stand at a door and wait for them to finish gens and leave. I've already lost interest in playing the game.

I'm starting to think that I'm going to quit playing altogether once I earn all the serum vials on the Rift. If they bother to do a fun event in the future, I'll come back, but if every future event is like this Halloween one...

I am just so happy I didn't buy the premium battlepass. I'd be really pissed at myself if I had.

I sat in my killer lobby just staring at all the unhappy killer faces staring back at me. Did that for 15 minutes and logged off. Just lost all interest.

It's not like the previous times, when I took a week or so off. Back then it was a forced break where I looked forward to my eventual return. Now, I just don't care to go through the motions or the grind. The Tomes have changed the feel of the game for me. It feels more like a gimmicky mobile game now.

  • @Chaotic_Riddle said:

Probably because the Devs are worried that entitled Survivor mains would whine and complain if Killers like Ghostface and Myers could just stare at them without getting a warning.

Same can be said of killers. That is why statements like this are absolutely useless and foolish. There are entitled children on both sides, so perhaps try offering something helpful. Even if it is not well received.

Such as, the perks work vs undetectable because they were designed to surpass stealth without breaking it or revealing the killer's exact position.

  • @OmegaXII said:

With dedicated server, i almost missed every blink attack, even i blink on top of them

Sometimes if survivor is in front of me, a quick blink doesn't close the distance, causing me to missed, fatigue, and waste a lot of time

So yeah, i don't have any fun playing new nurse because of cooldown. It's literally staring your power bar the whole game

I find the biggest issue to be the servers as well. Gave her a spin earlier and it was super clunky due to the servers. It's why I've hardly played since their release.

  • @Entity_Burger said:

Remember: If a Killer is not buried 6 feet under the bottom tier; they are OP.

This is the mantra Survivor mains say every day before logging into the forums to yell for undeserved nerfs.

Most survivors play killer as well. The survivor vs killer whining is a bit rediculous. Those who are one side or the other are way too biased to even try to discuss issues of balance with.

  • Gen pressure, not hook guarding, is key. Pick a side of the map and protect those gens. Take time to kick the gens. Don't get lured on long chases that get longer at infinite loops. When you hook someone, move to the most likely gen the others are on and kick it. If you are in a chase and you see someone working a gen, wait until line of sight on them is broken and swing back by to get a quick hit and move them off the gen.

Your timing and judgment will improve over time. 4 man SWF that are skilled are not the common group, but can be annoying. Franklin's and NOED are useful tools to deal with those 4 man groups that derank just to torture new killers. Don't let them get to you and don't complain after game. Use it as a training opportunity. Learn what they do and try to adapt.

Oh, and drop the whole "gen rush" thing. It is born of a victim mentality that becomes a crutch. Survivors have nothing but gens as an objective. Good killers can pressure gens and counter gen speeds, but it is harder to do so when you learn on the gen rush crutch.

  • @TheRockstarKnight said:

It doesn't work (I just played a game with a Shroud of Separation and spawned with all 3 other Survivors visible).

Survivors spawn all together or in pairs most of the time, with Shroud of Separation not having a noticeable effect on this.

Even if it did work, having Survivors spawn *separated* encourages them to work on different generators, which means no matter what Survivor you chase, 3 others are doing gens. For a Killer this is only a bad thing; but it's especially bad on slower Killers or trap Killers like Hag or Trapper that need setup time.

As for Survivors starting *together*, it has various pros and cons but it's mostly beneficial for Killers since they can snowball quickly if they get even 2 Survivors down together.

Those one to two minute Nurse games you hear about usually happen because the Survivors all spawned near each other.

This, exactly. As a Trapper main, I don't want them starting separated. I need to trap my battlefield. I can often lose 1-2 gens before I can truly start to pressure the field. If they are all separate, I'll lose 3-4 gens before I can start to pressure with any level of effectiveness. It takes time to set 3-4 traps in key spots in order to cause a cascading effect of ongoing pressure.

Nope, not a good idea at all.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/96046/why-i-believe-pipping-shouldnt-be-considered-a-win

Good sir, it's simple, you can get a 6 in an exam (C-) and pass it, but you could've gotten a 10 (A+). Who do you think is a good doctor, the one who passed his surgery exam with C- or the one who got an A+? Who would you pick to have surgery with?

Now, lets pass those examples to DBD, who is actually a better killer? The one who got a 2k+ without piping or the one who got a 2k+ and piped or the one who got a 2k+ and double piped?

It's as simple as that. Yes, getting a 4k and no pip implies you did your job, but that was a lame C- right there, give yourself a challenge by not camping or tunneling to get that A+ man.

Horrible analogy, considering it is more likely the person making a C will go on to become an active surgeon while the one with the A will likely become a theoretical researcher or instructor. Both are a win in your analogy.

As for wincon, I find it funny when people lose their mind over what other think is a win in a game that is at best a casual party game with a less clear "wincon" than even Mario Party. Some people only play for fun with a few friends, therefore their idea of a win is different than someone who tries to crunch the numbers and compare themselves to the competition.

Relax and do you. Stop worrying about what others consider a win, and please stop looking at a game as a measure of your skill and value. (The use of "your" is intended to be a general term for any/all, not one particular person. )

"We aren't meta,so people dont use us"Thanks guys.

On the rare occasion where I play survivor, I am not going to use a one-time use perk. Adrenaline, DS, Unbreakable are all one-time use perks. I prefer efficiency over meta. No Mither is a joke because the killer knows you are running it and that defeats the purpose. Tenacity is useless vs Chili and Deerstalker.

I've been on the ugly end of 4 slug matches enough to know how ungodly boring they are. Survivors need a concede option so they can get to a match that might have some points to it. Had a match where I started next to Nurse, got downed, she downed the survivor who came for me, then the third. The 4th went immersed until we all bled out. Boring as all get out. No thanks, let them concede and move on.

I hate slugging survivors because I know how boring it is. I'm someone that actually thinks a video game should be fun for all involved, as much as possible anyways. But, I'm also old school and don't see this game, or my performance in it, as any form of extension of my life. It's just a fun toy.

Survivors not playing the game differently when a killer is used does not mean the killer is broken.

Why are we going to nerf the hardest killer in the game that is rarely even used to her max potential when SWF can still cuck and destroy any killer they want. If 5% of the survivor community is too small to balance around then so is the incredibly small pool of Nurses that can play her well. She still has counterplay, it's up to the survivor to use it.

PTB Nurse has counterplay and then extra on top. Good luck ever beating even a mild SWF now.

I beat SWF with Trapper and I don't even claim to be that good. I destroy SWFs with Spirit. If you can't beat them with a killer who can blink through pallets, walls and floors, you should look more to yourself than the killer.

There are very few groups of survivors that are among the elite who can destroy any killer, so spare me the comparison of those groups to the regular red rank swf.

  • Everyone on here should know by now that I main killer. I agree with the Nurse nerfs. One of the reasons I don't like to play her is she is easy mode. Very few survivors can counter her and most of those are rank 1.

As for her addons, I think they are collectively better as you can now make varying builds concerning her recovery speed. Her map pressure is still better than most killers and she is still hard to loop.

Enough crying already. Nurse needed this.

Some players need to grow up.

I understand that when you as a killer win against a group of survivors they are probably gonna be mad about it. I recieved my fair share of "noob killer" and stuff after the game in the chat, but now people literally looked up my other social media and went to comment horrible insults and dislike everything. This is just not okay.

This is why I have everything on lockdown. I don't care about people crying that my stuff is set to private. I know what idiots are capable of.

  • I'm getting more and more disenfranchised with DbD's cash grabs. The Ash DLC had an obvious issue with MoM that everyone identified, but BHVR played dumb and made sure to get all the cash they could before leveling the inevitable nerf we all knew would come.

Now Battlepass with all the bells and whistles that will appeal to the casual crowd, but only benefit the top 5% of players fully. If you're casual and pay for it, that's your own choice, but I'll pass. I'll likely be passing on DbD a lot going forward as it is becoming more and more dumbed down.

Guys, i dont think you understand what he actually means.

He is talking about traps with bugy visibility, so surivor can not see them at all due to glitch/bug.

If this is bannable or not.. i can not tell, but in many games, abusing bugs is in fact a bannable reason.

Maybe a Dev or Mod knows more about this?

    Still not bannable.

  • No, that is rediculous. I main Trapper and the whole idea is to put the traps where they don't expect and then herd them towards them.

Keep doing it. Expand your trapping skill by paying attention to how survivors move in and out of chases. Don't try to trap the whole field. Pick an area with 4 to 5 gens and turn it into a trapped nightmare.

Omegablink, Locker DS, the old Frank's Mixtape + Stab Wounds Study... there have been a lot of unbalanced things. Two of those examples have been taken out of the game, and I'm all for it. But think about all of the "fun" things survivors can use:

    All exhaustion perks.

    Keys.

Instaheals (which are being fixed, like omegablink).

Second chance perks (Second wind, Deliverance, Unbreakable, DS, BT, Adrenaline).

These are all ways survivors can make fun situations for themselves, but the killer has to use certain killers just to stand a chance at higher ranks. Then they have to use ruin to make sure they are able to stand a chance.

If that shotgun was added like your example, I'd be all against it because it's not balanced. Moris are because for every 1 game with a mori, you'll probably get 10 games where you escape. It's not common and it leaves no room for error on the survivor part, which is what survivors hate, because it takes more skill in that case.

I'd be agaisnt it as well, but I'm also against swinging this game in either direction.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/751298#Comment_751298

Hi! Insta heals needed to get dialed down! A dev said it earlier in this topic and honestly, as people are so fond of saying "If you need EM to be in a power role you are a bad killer..." Well if you need an instant heal you are a bad survivor! Turn about is fair play!

Be that as it is, if you are really unhappy, maybe you should take a break to relax from it abit?

I did not disagree about insta heals being nerfed. I disagree with nerfing them while leaving ebony mori in place. It creates too large of a gap.

  • @Rivyn said:

Mori's aren't comparable to insta heals, though. Keys would be in the same ball park. If the mori get fixed, I hope keys would as well.

Insta downs are. Should we look at nerfing those, since insta heals were meant to give a counter? This current nerf has things out of whack imo. I was used to having a 4 man instant heal squad. Hardly impacted me at all. Hard to heal your way out of a bear trap. I think they have a legit complaint. I'm against this nerf.

  • @Raven014 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/751298#Comment_751298

Sure it's not hard to do that, but that's an action by the killer, not a result of the offering. I'm sure you'd complain a lot more if a killer had to perform the animation when they approached a survivor on the ground after first hook. The killer wouldn't have a choice, the survivor wouldn't have fun, and there would be a lot more resentment about it.

It's all a choice by the killer in the end.

By your account of things, there is no unbalanced ability or addon. It is all up to whether you use it. So survivors could have a shotgun offering to kill the killer and it only counts if they choose to use it. LOL. No, that is not how it works. Try again

  • @Raven014 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/746007#Comment_746007

Ebony moris on their own are not unbalanced. It's the killer's choice how to use them, and is the one offering that gives them the power role, since survivors can't afford to make mistakes for once.

No, they are horribly unbalanced. It is not very hard to tunnel each person down and EM. You don't have to be any good at all as killer to kill everyone pretty quickly. That is not balanced.

I think most of the killers I've talked to agree that EM is horribly imbalanced and overall bad for the game.

    EDIT

I forgot to comment on "the power role". If you need EM to claim the power role, you are a bad killer. I can count on one hand how many matches I've had in the past year where I was not the power role. I don't play a top tier killer either. I play Trapper mostly. Do I get matches vs good SWF where they all escape? Yes, it is rare, but happens. But, during those matches, I have 5 to 6 hooks, and keep them on the run. I don't have those often, most of the time I easily 3 to 4k.

  • @Witas said:

To be honest, Im pretty dissapointed by this. I understand being "fair" towards players who did not buy the battle pass, but I think that the dedicated players deserve SOMETHING more than casuals. I may be entitled or whatever, but that's what makes the Battle Passes so tempting and satisfying in other games, the feeling of getting something other people won't have. Atleast for me ... What do you think ?

Sorry, but this must be a joke. You are implying that hardcore, serious players will pay while casuals won't. I guarantee it has nothing to do with casual vs hardcore. It has more to do with a person's resources and their spending habits. A kid playing on MoM and dad's dime might not get the resources needed, or someone working minimum wage might not. But someone with plenty of resources might throw money at whatever they want.

In the end, it has nothing to do with casual and hardcore. It is whether you can afford it and whether you feel it is worth the money.

  • Both should be done together, for balance. There is no indication that they are doing anything with EM. Therefore, my point stands.

Just to be clear, I don't care about IH nerf, but don't call it an action to bring balance when you have EM, which is even more imbalanced, still in game. Yes, IH sucks, but does not end the game for the killer. EM does.

Did it really though? I've tried it in the past. All you need to do is put on Empathy and stay close. Bonus points if you're on voice chat and they can tell you when they're about to go down. You can spend that time working on nearby totems or generators, even.

Typical hypocrisy from DbD. I don't argue that IHs were not powerful, but to claim those to be unbalanced and to leave EMs in the game is quite hypocritical. Sorry, but neither take much of any skill to use, and both create near game-breaking issues. Nerf one, you need to nerf the other.

  • @Chewy102 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/742543#Comment_742543

You can replace a perk. There are dozens of perks to pick from and the effect of just 1 being nerfed isn't going to do anything to Survivor base gameplay.

Nerfing an entire Killer though is another thing.

There are just 17 Killers in total and only 2-3 of them are high rank viable. Nerfing Nurse effects the entire Killer roster and makes it so even less are viable or worth playing as you face more skilled players.

MoM was replaceable, Nurse isn't. Not till there are more viable Killers at least.

Again, I'll reiterate my points here:

    1. Overreacting before testing is a lose/lose. People overreacted to the MoM changes, and almost all changes. Try it, learn the new play style, then judge it.

    2. Though some killers are more viable than others, I've seen good killers use "not viable" killers at red ranks to great success. Some require you adapt to specific strategies and many players don't want to. For instance, Trapper play at red ranks requires patience and out of the box trap placement. You can't try to pressure the whole map, you pick your fight and trap in ways not always expected. Not everyone is willing to give away half the map and keep pressure on just 4 to 5 gens.

    3. Nurse was really the easy way out for many killers. Omega Blink Nurse needed to be reigbed in. The current changes seem reasonable, but we will only tell by giving it an honest try.

This community tends to cry hard at every change, killer and survivor.

Yeah so far i have yet to see a Trapper in r1 that actually is threat, also you say you beat 4man SWF with Trapper. Yeah no Problem dude, i also lost Matches vs wraith because we clowned around and not every 4man SWF is the same.

Nobody says you can not win as x that was never the Point made. The original Argument however was that god nurses are too strong that is why we Need nerfs. How many god nurses do exist?

I don't think it was about "God" nurses. It was about Omega Blink, which was not hard to find, 3+ blinks, and how nurse was easy mode due to breaking all the rules. The only real changes to her are ones that were seriously needed. If you get 3 blinks, you can no longer blink outside los and omega was ditched.

Seriously, looking at her addons, you can make some really nice combos. I like the amount of stun reduction addons as that was always my aggravation with Nurse. As someone who can't see scratch Mark's, to have a character who takes her eye off the survivor if you miss or don't swing is really frustrating. I might actually try her again with these changes.

I am aware that not all killers are considered viable, but I'm also aware that people who are good, or tricky with killers can be viable. I hold my own just fine at red ranks with Trapper and Hag. I have seen numerous streamers do the same. I therefore reject that they are not viable. They are just harder to use in viable ways. You have to think outside the box.

    Yes.

I totally see survivors saying legion Needs to be fixed, so does Clown, Leatherface and Doc. Oh wait they don't care. They don't want to learn how to Play, survivors nowadays are just bad.

There is not a single english Video on how to juke a Nurse. Not because you can not but because this community is About who cries the most, gotta feel good that there are just most survivors.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/742543#Comment_742543

How About you call marth and say you are Ready to destroy him and his Squad with Trapper and other m1s?

Oh please, how many people play at his squad's level? A very small percentage are at that level. That is like calling for major Huntress nerfs based on Zubat's level of play. No.

    Try again.

  • I've been a killer main for around 1500 hours of my 2k hours. Since the DS change, I've been hit with it a total of three times. Why? I don't tunnel. If You are one of two left and I down you shortly after the hook, I slug you and go for the last. By the time I get back to you, 60 seconds is gone. No DS concerns. I have enjoyed living a DS-free life to be honest.

If you have a problem with DS, you should try not tunneling so much. Period.

  • Yep, and destroying MoM will end the survivor ranks. Serious over reaction. Nurse changes are mostly reasonable. Nurse was easy mode before and a crutch for killers with no imagination. I always here how she is the only way to compete with the 4 man SWF, yet I've done it with Trapper at red ranks. Win some, lose some. I've seen very good Huntresses and Freddy's own those groups. Granted, Pig and Doc likely won't fair well.

Enough crying already. Wait and see first.

Yep, same here. I saw the key and knew I needed to tunnel but he came across hatch. It came from a chest apparently.

I find it funny when I play survivor and use a broken key with ability to track other survivors. Many killers work so hard to kill me only to let 3 to 4 escape.

I see a key, I might use Franklin's or I move to a gen protector build. It never helps to get tunnel vision.

  • I enjoy the challenge of SWF. Most solo matches are face rolls. I can 4k those by rolling my face back and forth on the keyboard. SWF matches vs 4 man is rare and even half of those consist 2 or so members who can't hide or loop well.

Too much whining on these forums. 4k is not a right, get out there and get better. Challenge those 4 man hit squads and make them earn it too.

when you are incapable of doing gens when a killer doesn't leave the hook you have not a soul to blame but yourself

if you hit a killer with 2 DS and still lose? that's just inexcusably poor play from you and your team.

I found most campers use NOED. You do gens and go and you likely feed 2 more kills to the camper. If you stop to find totems, you feed at least one, possibly 2 more to them.

It works with SWF, not with solo.

  • Personally, when I want to learn a new killer, I don't use addons, perks or offerings. I find I learn faster with the bare bones package. Once I get the hang of it I'll start adding points and getting addons, perks, etc.

I'm sorry then you might as well drop an ebony to be worth less then 7000 for a different death hook that takes longer

Or, just make a mori worth more BP than a hook death.

  • As killer, I notice serious hit box issues. I'll swing with Trapper and hit, but the survivor's body falls 5-10 meters away. Had one where I hit them in the killer shack and was at the center, but their body falls on the outside of the window. My ping was always between 50 and 70. I placed a Trap only to have it trigger immediately with a survivor in it. I thought maybe there was a shadow buff for Trapper where his traps now summon survivors to them and hold them there.

As survivor I had similar hit box issues. I threw down a pallet, ran three steps and the hit registered from the killer who was in break animation. My ping was 65 at that time. My favorite was Pig's new power of teleporting through pallets to hit in her charge. I was eager to run Pig after that, but no such luck.

  • Due to color blindness, I don't see scratch marks or blood unless indoors. They appear as a dark grey to black spot on the floor of The Game. I hunt by anticipation and movement.

The trapper should not be able to place traps on exit doors. 3 games in one night I had trappers bring ruin place trap on totem and camp it then put traps on exits door and just take the game hostage or make it 3 times as long.

That's called a strategy. You should always expect a trap on exit doors when playing vs Trapper. If he guards the totem, do gens. Ruin can be defeated by learning to hit great skill checks. If you suck at it, then gen tap.

balance moris instead of hiding them.

Move the mori requirements to being after the second hook instead of the first. There is little to be complained about if you are morid instead of hooked for your death. Sure, maybe you saved DS or hoped the ally with the flashlight might get the save, but you can't say you got no chance to play. Unless you were directly tunneled off the hook twice....that sucks.

For those that relate the keys to moris, just say the purple key requires that the hatch was already closed in order to work. This keeps multiple survivors from escaping the match together with a purple key.

  • Survivor: Looping, in general. I excel more at avoidance, breaking Los and stealth. DWM is my go to perk.

Killer: I'm colorblind (deuteranopia), and I can't see the scratch marks or blood pools. I see them as black lines on indoor maps mostly. I struggle to see survivors hiding on most maps due to color blending. I hunt by movement and anticipation. I can still reach red ranks, but I'm pretty clumsy getting there. It's probably why I use Trapper, because I can anticipate movement and herd them towards traps instead of relying on color tracking.

Yes, I've tried NVIDIA color blindness filters, but it often flashes with anti cheat and I have to turn them off.

  • Rofl ok. There is more sweat in the red ranks than a sauna. This guy should be the spokesman for DbD. He clearly drank all the koolaid.

  • I don't agree with the nerfs suggested, but anyone saying Freddy is average is seriously lacking perspective. I have run easily 50 matches with him and can count on one hand how many times I failed to at least 3k. Until I get to upper purple, lower red, there really is not much of a challenge with him. He is not Nurse or Spirit, but much better than average.

Still not sold on Oblivious being a needed effect on him though.

  • You are correct. My mistake. Perhaps it should include more actions, such as healing an entire health state?

Yeah how about no. There's enough circlejerky survivor-only bloodpoint add ons, BPS are about EVERYONE in the game enjoying it.

It also doesn't make sense that survivors can stack +400% bloodpoints that the killer can't, just because the killer often gets around 10k more points in a regular match.

Though I agree the BPS should not exclude killers, you are doing something wrong if you are only getting 10k more than survivors in your average match. Chili alone puts me around 40 to 50k a match easily. Add in Distressing, maybe TotH and I'm pushing 70k. With a Pudding, I can hit 80k no problem.

Survivors don't come close. WGLF only effects Altruism score while PTS hits coop score. They have no blanket score increase like Chili.

I don't think BPS should be survivor only, but I do think survivors need a blanket perk increase like chili, without aura sight.

  • I dread events due to que times and toxicity. Love the BP, but ugh.

  • It is a good map for several mid tier or stealth killers. Pure nightmare for others. Trapper was really fun on the map.

  • So, I was having this conversation with a streamer Friday night. If they opened up the window for stealth to be effective in chases and closed the window a bit more on looping, it would benefit individual survivors and killers significantly.

Example: Limit aura perks during chases and perhaps add in more perks like Dance with Me where a survivor can temporarily turn on a stealth mode to try and evade a killer. It means more survivors will escape chases. In order for this to balance out there needs to be a way to shorten loops. One such way is to let bloodlust not only effect pallet breaking speed and stun recovery from pallets, but have it persist through those actions as well.

    Game Impact

    1. Shorter looping chases as the linger the chase goes, the more dangerous the killer becomes. It becomes hard to loope once bloodlust kicks in. Combined with enduring or brutal strength, bloodlust 2 could nearly eliminate pallets as a factor.

    2. Survivors with a higher stealth window in chases are given opportunities to cut chases short, this avoiding getting downed. Though the killer may not get that down, he is now back to pressuring the gens.

It is crucial to add that killer skill will become a much more important factor in this scenario. I don't think stealth should be buffed overall, just during chases. That means the killer needs to work harder to anticipate, keep an eye on the survivor and try to limit their opportunity to activate stealth perks, such as vaulting to trigger DWM.

Honestly, I'd rather short cat and mouse games as a killer than prolonged pallet eating contests.

@Peanits what are the drawbacks in this?
