But that's chase music right? I think all the chase music is too loud too but at least when it comes on, you're in a chase so theoretically already know where the survivor is so you aren't trying to listen for them to find them or anything. I think the chase music all needs to be quieted down a ton too but the whispering is way worse in my opinion because it prevents you from finding survivors.
No I'm talking about their walking sounds

Some killers are definitely too quick to point the finger at SWF. I’ve had killers accuse me of being in a “gen rushing SWF” when I was playing solo and just got teammates who were actually good at the game.
SWF does give some undeniable advantages. But the game itself incentivises survivors to play in a SWF. You have more fun, you can tell your teammates to save you from the hook, you know your teammates’ capabilities, and you know what perks everyone is running. There are so many ways the devs could add some of this stuff to solo queue to improve the experience but for some reason they refuse to. Until then I think the SWF playerbase will keep growing because it’s the most fun way to play survivor.
Also solo queue is a death sentence
-
Game's annoying, sure, but could be a lot worse. Survivor is still fun to play with friends and new ranking system means every survivor is the same rank.

I got bored of oni since I play on console and its imposible to hit someone wheb they get out of your LOS
I never really played ghostface since I didnt buy him but from what I've seen he seems fun
Simple, don't let them out of your LOS.

It doesn't change how you need to play as killer much. Find survivors, down them, hook them, repeat.

Actually, I didn't see as many Freddy in red ranks after his add-ons nerf. Plus, by your logic, Nurse is one of the worst killers in the game, because I barely see her in red ranks.
I still see mostly Freddy. Is this a console or pc tier list? On console nurse is d and on pc she is s.

I dodged 4/5 games in lobby vs 3+ SWF, in lobby number five i gived up, complete Legion's mission and DC. I hope devs is proud about SWF problem.
"Swf problem"
They're just like any survivor except camping doesn't work on them.

Top 4 is kinda set in stone for me and Trapper and Legion really are in need of buffs ( or rework in Legion's case ), so I can't put them any higher than that.
Okay trapper and legion are seriously underrated. Hag us not top 4 material, while Freddy is. You can't say Freddy isn't top 4 when you see him a lot in red ranks.
-
Agree. Swf is not op, it's a game mechanic. People should be able to play with friends if they want.

Tell that to your tiny pool of killers who play. There's a reason survivors are experiencing significantly longer que times than killers. Which is counter intuitive since you can only have one killer per match.
Purple rank queues as survivor are instant. My friend says red ranks take 5+ minutes. It's probably a ranking system thing (too easy to pip as survivor) and not a lack of killers. There's no way less than 20% of people playing are killers but there is super lots of ways less than 20% of red ranks are killers.

I feel like it’s more like this one Console at Red Ranks Atm.
Hag will always be B tier imo. She only performs well because no one has learned how to play against her.

@Mjra said:
Legion is mid C tier at worst. Clown is definitely not D tier. Bubba and Huntress are hard to place because they're very situational (Bubba's really only good because of the Nemesis/PWYF AFAIK and Huntress is an incredibly map dependent killer).
No D tier killers? It's almost like the game is balanced!

The sound of a generator or injured survivor masks the sounds of stealth killers regardless of whether sounds are bugged or not. This has always been the case.
I dunno, I find Spine Chill useful in almost every match. This is why I use it over other perks that are more situational. Plus more and more killer players are either playing stealth killers, or are using perks and add ons that mess with their terror radius, in order to get an easy first hit. Running Spine Chill lets me lead the killer on a chase without taking that hit first.
A guaranteed chase is very strong imo. Spine chill can save countless health states during a match against a killer who tries messing with their TR.

@Xerge said:
I find him to be more unplayable without the extra hindered penalty and the exhaustion add ons, I use both of them if I have them.
I don't see clowns not running both of those or the pinky finger.

You can run Ruin on nurse and still lose. You realise that rank 12s aren't going to be the best at Nurse, especially since her changes hurt new Nurse players a LOT. I ran Ruin at first because I was trying to get better at her and practice, and I wanted to be in games for longer than 5 minutes while doing so.
You can run baby Nurses for 10 minutes straight and not get hit once.
Her skill floor is way too low now. Sad

It gives you a free stun for running into the killer. Good survivors with DS abuse the invincibility it gives you by doing ######### in the killer's face all the time.
It's not invincibility, it's protection from being picked up for 60 seconds. If you can't find other survivors you're failing as a killer (or on a stupid op map)
-
@GrootDude said:

Because he is extremely underrated and actually takes a lot of skill to be effective with. He actually has anti-loop with his chainsaw if you’re good enough.
I see no difference between red and green rank bubba. You're tripping dude.
-
Switch Hag and Freddy, bump up GF one tier at least, bump up trapper, bump up legion to one tier below PLAG.
-
Why is bubba so high? He's like an Oni but takes no skill.
-
I feel the same way. It outclasses other slowdown perks by miles.

Default terror radius:
32
Spine Chill = 38m
38-6 = 32
Spine Chill diference = 6m
You said Spine Chill is 36

@Blueberry said:

Because it isn't just for stealth killers, it just happens to be best against them.
Also, most stealth killers aren't noisy.
I'm not saying it's as busted as all the second chance perks currently available, but arguably against anything other than the over tuned meta perks it's up there.
"Over tuned"
More laughs for me :)

@laurelstroodle said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/956277#Comment_956277
Huh?
Im saying that diference of noticing if the killer is coming is 6 meters... since the default terror radius is 32.
So
32+6= 36
And the wiki says "Get notified when the Killer is looking directly in your direction and standing within a range of 36 metres."
A range of 36m
Default terror radius: 32
Soo..?
32+6=38
-
Deep wounds are fine as they are. Movement speed is too fast then. Missed attacks stunning you is part of the Legion playstyle, having to be careful and precise. I guess it could be changed with little consequence though. Just my thoughts.

@Waffleyumboy gave a context where it can seem unfair
That wasn't my intention but I guess it can. A perk slot can be used for things much less fair.
-
@laurelstroodle said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/956257#Comment_956257
Default terror radius is 32
Spine Chill activates at 36 meters
So the diference is: 6 meters
6 meters for a perk slot?
And btw, you are never going to be sure if the killer is coming at you, since it can be faking, you will most likely need to move when the killer is at 16 meters (the same thing a no spìne chill user would do)
So you can't subtract?
-
Thank you so many people revealed themselves to not actually play the game when they claimed this.
-
@laurelstroodle said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/956236#Comment_956236
You can't hear them, but you can see where they are with some good eyes and if you set your graphics low basically you are wallhacking.
And stealth killers are not the only killers in game, most killers have a terror radius, so what's the point on using spine chill in that scenario?
Spine chill activates before you can hear the TR, and it gives a speed boost for any objective you are on.
-
Ranking system says Legion is very good so you know who's getting nerfed next.
-
Nice bait
-
@laurelstroodle said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/956158#Comment_956158
Spine Chill isn't worth that perk slots when MOST stealth killers can be countered without this perk, cause they make noise.
Maybe if you are a not experienced player it can be really useful, but once you make it to the 2k hours (like me) you will notice it is a very bad perk, cause you can predict killers.
and btw why would I use spine chill when I have SWF (with comms) but well this is off-topic and is another reason why solos are underpowered.
From how far away can you hear stealth killers? Hearing them from TR range would negate their power. Against good stealth killers Spine Chill will help a lot.
-
I bet you want egc gone too
-
@inferjus said:

I think that experienced survivors would still stick to the gens knowing that Ruin will probably appear, but if not then totems would actually be important objective.
Exactly
-
Perks and powers are there to help you out, but I agree some maps have too many strong tiles.
-
@Kagari_Leha said:
That's an interesting take, I like the idea of a borrowed time for dying survivors, but the problem is : what if the whole team is annoying a killer who didnt plan on slugging at the beginning ? he gets punished for hitting a survivor he worked on getting down for no reason ? that would be quite unfair no ?
Wdym? The killer downs someone, sees a survivor, decides to slug, downs another survivor. Goes back for slug, slug is picked up, hits slug back down but they have BU on them. Decides to go back for other slug to pick them up. End result: 3 survivors not doing gens while the killer got a hook and an injure. Does that sound unfair?
-
Just a small tweak to make it less oppressive to newer players who see it every game.
-
@Speshul_Kitten said:

That would actually be a great idea. However, it would be quite obvious the killer is running NOeD. With Hex NOED: Tier I/II/III increase the lunge just slightly up until it reaches Myers Tier 3 lunge as an equivalent.
That's the same as a speed boost. No
-
@AhoyWolf said:
What will tier 1 and tier 2 do? The speed boost is there just for the tier 1 & 2, it would be nice if noed could increase instead of the movement speed the number of totems on the map.
Reduced missed attack cooldown was one of my ideas. Maybe starting at 15% and increasing by 5% each tier.
-
Then the strategy for early game for survivors would be to run around cleansing dull totems. This would make killers like Trapper impossibly strong but I don't have a problem with that. Sounds good to me.
-
@inferjus said:
Please no, no more second-chance perks for survivors! You got downed, you deserve to be vulnerable!
You can still hit the guy who picked them up.
