Many Ghostfaces have pulled me off but you can still hear his shroud. Myers you can hear his breathing. It's not just offa gens though, a friend of mine did it by pulling someone out of a locker as they tried to go in (has to be while they go in or out, not while they're just sitting in there I don't think). Can also be window or exit gate switch grabs I believe.
-

I don't think I've ever heard any cases of people getting banned from it
According to the friend, a fogwhisperer named Hexy got banned for it at one point and they've also had others they know who have been banned for it.
@Toybasher said:
Can you post a screenshot of the email with personal info of players edited out? Just am curious exactly what they said.
And yeah the definition of Griefing is pretty grey. What's the difference between teabagging at the exit gate and mori spamming? IIRC the devs claimed slugging till bleedout or during EGC isn't bannable as it's not a hostage situation (You bleed out into the dirt or die from the collapse timer expiring.) and the bleedout bar still drains at a normal rate during mori spamming. (Was changed a few years ago IIRC)
Teabagging is explicitly mentioned as something they won't ban for. If teabagging is fine where exactly is the line drawn where it enters "Yeah this is Griefing and bannable" territory? Hitting people on the hook? Nodding your head? Running a "Salt-Mining" build designed to frustrate survivors like Forever Freddy or Iri Head Huntress + Ebony Mori? Slugging for the 4K? Bringing a cypress mori, taking the last survivor to the hatch only to shut it in their face and mori them? Going in as a survivor No Mither sabo team with no intent to actually do the gens but 99 every hook and buttdance as you drop them until you get downed enough times to bleedout?
They seem to mention a lot of things they won't ban for yet most of BHVRs list can also be considered griefing. The killers or survivors who do certain acts are going out of their way to give players a bad time and ruin their game experience.
My line drawn would be "Just play the game the way it's intended, if you are not giving players a chance to play, then you are not allowed to play because you clearly don't have a problem with the mindset of 'others shouldn't be allowed to play the game' and you are apart of the 'others' as well." So face camping and slugging til bleed out should be definite bans. Considerable bans (meaning depending on how 'severe' it was/how rude they were with it) should be things like mori spamming and tbagging, why? Because it's people just shoving a giant middle finger in your face and I know most people have a heart of stone and don't show any emotion but others do and it can really ruin those people's day.
Also, I do not have a screenshot but she said they replied "Thank you for your concern about the game. Unfortunately, that is not a punishable offence and no action will be taken against this player." basically.
-
Hag, T1 Myers, or Shrouding Ghostface (cuz I usually get yanked offa gens at the start by him)
-
See, a lot of people DC against Freddy or Spirit but I would sooner DC against Hag (even though I won't anyway). She's OP in a way most people don't realize. I just feel like traps should not be allowed to be put in the vicinity of the basement or in the basement. All the hag has to do is put 2-3 traps on the stairs and then a few in the surrounding area. But same goes for Trapper, you have to spend time taking out traps to get out safely and if he hears the notifications he comes straight back.
There's no winning against basement hags and trappers.
-
I prefer old Freddy tbh. This new Freddy doesn't even require skill to play. You could be a new killer and probably 4k. BT has no power with this killer. I mean perks should have their counters but this counter is a bit op. The mend timer at least should not go down while asleep.
-
For me it depends. I mean, I'm not a good killer so if someone DCs, sure it's no one else's fault but like that's not really fair to me. Why DC when you don't even know what skill level you up against. Not really fair to other killers regardless of skill either.
It also depends on how far into the game. If the other survivors showed no sign of toxicity I -might- let them live. Or at least let one live.

U still have no idea what ur talking about and it’s funny. I literally play everyday. I’m not saying it’s ONLY during rank reset lmao. I’m saying I hate rank reset because it’s more excessive than it is normally.
Then how do I not know what I'm talking about if you literally just admitted in the same paragraph that what I said was true? Some good logic there. I don't see the point in complaining about it happening in rank reset when you agree it happens on both sides and not just during rank reset. It's also not as excessive as you think during the reset. I been playing for a while now too, imo it happens the same amount at any time - rank reset, mid month, right before reset, don't matter because it happens all the time.
So if anything is 'funny' it's you because I don't understand someone who says what I say is pointless and incorrect then turns around and tries to continue arguing while saying you agree with what I'm saying. It makes no sense. You said NO WHERE in your original post that you know survivors are also like this, no where that you know it happens all the time. You just complained about killers holding the game "hostage" and camping a lot during reset and what not.
Maybe word your petty rants better?

I literally play almost every day all of what u typed was pointless and Incorrect LMAO. And nah I just don’t want to argue with anyone I wanna rant let out my frustration and go I’m not looking for approval or people to rally behind me lmao the clownery and desperation of it all
Pointless and incorrect? Um, what? Clearly you don't play as much as you claim.
Ask so many people and they will tell you how sweaty and salty survivors can get when you play killer. I might be a survivor main as well but I understand that killers also get rude freaking survivors. Killers are not the ONLY 'petty' side playing this game.
And it does happen all the time. Killers/Survivors get sweaty/salty/toxic for the entire month from one rank reset to the next rank reset. Ask so many people.
I've been playing for a while, maybe not since it came out but damn well long enough to see that it's not just one side. It's not just during rank reset. So don't blame rank reset. Don't blame one side.
-
Hell, even if its not a vacuum I got a wiggle bar to 100% sometime last week but still got hooked. If it's mid animation and your character is not yet on the hook, it should still count as wiggling out.
Vacuums also happen for unhooking, gens, and exit gate doors. I've been with friends who say they let go but get pulled off regardless. Usually this happens because of vacuums (or the game just lags/doesn't register they let go).
Vacuums and crap like this need to get fixed for real.

It may not be 100% possible but if everyone tries then this forum would be a lot better than it currently is.
I try usually. However, will most others? Most likely not. It's a nice thought but everyone likes to jump the gun or flip tables over out of rage or just rant about needless things, etc.
It would take a miracle to get everyone (or at least a lot more people) to be civil.
-
Worst ever? Oh my... That's....that.... that is not just sad, that is painful as all hell to read.
Making exclusive cosmetics free to everyone is NOT that bad compared to so many other things. I expect to see people crying over a Spirit nerf, but no, going down the threads on this forum, this is what I see. This. of ALL other things. This...
Oh, boohoo, your exclusive cosmetics are no longer kept to a handful of the player base. Who cares? To call it the worst decision is honestly heartbreaking. The fact that this, over SO MANY OTHER THINGS, is the ONE THING you think is the WORST DECISION EVER? Oof.
-
I feel the point of these challenges are to give players something else to achieve besides the achievements. It also gets people to play in a way or with perks outside their comfort zone to give you a CHALLENGE!
If people are wasting pallets though or running to heal you or whatever then they are wasting their time. Sure, a lot of people just want to smack each challenge out of the way so that way they can immediately start on the next tier when it starts but they don't realize they'll get these challenges done by playing regularly too. These challenges are also meant for people who have the TIME for them while still actually playing the game the way it is intended.
But just keep playing and deal with it. If someone wants to heal you, let them (unless the killer is coming for you obviously) or if someone needs to throw a pallet, okay whatever (I've seen people waste pallets long before the archives were even announced earlier this year in the roadmap stream). No, you can't ignore them but oh well.
Also, the battle pass stuff has NOTHING to do with the challenges. Dunno what it has to do with the challenges, the pass just gives you cosmetics and serum to get skins, you don't need it for challenges. Dunno why you're complaining about that part, you had the chance to look through it before buying it to see if it's worth it or not.
In the end, this won't kill DbD... no... the bugs in game and Devs not caring about the community will if anything.
-
No. Just no.
The game is not even meant to be competitive, regardless of how many people see it that way, and not all SWFs are tryhards or don't always perfectly work together and win. It's a casual game, people have more than just one friend they want to play with, people want to be able to talk and laugh with their friends while playing, etc. If you want a competitive DbD game, go make your own and disallow SWF entirely.
I don't want to be told "Sorry, you can't have an online social life because killers are sweaty for a 4k every single round."
I don't think the game should cater to killers like that, not saying it should cater to survivors either (hence needing balance) but it's a casual game. Take a chill pill and relax. Let friends play with friends, you can't always win. So sorry.
-
A leg. Or an arm. Killers beat us up enough with these sharp weapons, maybe one gets bored and chops off someone's arm or leg and beats us with that.
-
1) It brings out crap survivors for killers to face too. It don't just bring out petty killers only. But things happen, if you don't like it don't play the game.
2) This stuff doesn't only happen right when rank reset happens. You must only play for a week once the reset hits and then claim that's only when this happens. Cute. It happens all the time, sorry to bubble burst.
3) So you made this post just to say you hate rank reset but don't care for other people's opinions? Don't make a forum if you don't care what others have to say, that's the point of the forum. People are gonna reply. If you expect everyone to agree and don't wanna "argue" (as you so lightly put it) with people who have differing opinions, then who says we want your opinion?
-
What about griefing though? It says under Temp Bans (idc if its temporary, it's still some sort of ban) "Targeting specific users repeatedly in order to ruin their game experience" I, personally, would say this CAN fall under camping/tunneling (can doesn't mean always should though).
For example:
If I'm being facecamping/hardcore proxy camped until death, that is ruining my game experience. Idk what BHVR thinks but I cannot play the game and have any type of fun by sitting on hook until I die.
So even though I don't because it's 'not allowed' I really have the urge to report when stuff like that happens.
There are some cases though that are not actually camping. For example:
If a teammate tries to come for the save but the killer notices, they don't have to let the person save. Or if the killer saw scratch marks nearby after hooking me, that's fine if they wanna look around.
But this is just one example of many.
-
Technically, the game is a casual game. It's not meant to be a competitive game. Ranks are there to show how much skill the person actually has. Unfortunately the rank system seems to be broken because I've made it to red ranks a few times and I am NOT at that skill level.
The rank system isn't needed considering there is no rewards for reaching rank 1 or anything and it being a bad system right now. But it does not make it a competitive game either.
Play the game how you want and if people hate you for it, let them. They cannot control you. Tell them the game is casual and games are meant to have fun. If YOU are not having fun, what's the point in playing? So again, play your own way to make it more fun. :)
-
@Andreyu44 said:
Disagree on "fun shouldnt be taken into consideration when talking about balance".
This is not a competitive game and will never be. (I dont understand all those people getting upset when they lose)
This is a casual game, this doesnt mean we should ONLY balance around fun ,but it should be definetely taken into consideration.
Furthermore, you play a game for FUN,not for "winning" (and if you do,you chose the wrong game, buddy)
Fun is indeed subjective for the most part, but there are some things we can all agree on.
Getting moried 3 games in a row is not fun for ANYONE ,for example.
The problem I see with this thought process is Fun =/= Casual. Even in Casual games, whether it be DbD or some other game out there, there is a chance you will not have fun. Fun comes in MANY forms. I stopped playing the game Overwatch because most of the people on that game, their idea of fun was nothing but winning. You HAD to win or else they'd hate their team for life. That seems to be how DbD is turning out though, everyone wants to win to have fun. Everyone wants to farm to have fun. Etc.
Even if people don't want that to have fun, that's surely what it seems like sometimes. You can't expect the game to always go your way.
-
Red Rank killers facecamping no mither? oof. big oof... The amount of times I see legit No Mither builds is slim to none. Usually people who bring No Mither but nothing good with it. No Iron Will, no Resil, etc. So like... why do red ranks think that people are actually gonna bring good perks with no mither? Good question, why are they afraid of an easy kill.
-
It works the other way too, I play not-so-good and sometimes I tend to pip or safety when I shouldn't. Usually only happens in Purple, Green, or Yellow ranks for me. I'm currently sitting in red ranks so I see myself depipping or getting a safety pip more often than not (I still don't agree with the safety, I agree with depips). But because I got pips when I shouldn't is what even got me to red ranks where I do NOT belong.
-
I know some perks are very situational but I have to agree SC is bad due to just HOW situational it is.
Personally, I find it only good for end game saves if it's only you and the person on the hook. Or if someone is not around to heal you and the round is going VERY well to the point you can waste about a minute healing. However, sloppy is a great counter to this. Most rounds there's not a point to use it, why can't you just rely on your team for once in your life?
In the end, it's just a time waster. Most people I see use it either get found before it is finished or get found again soon after they complete it. Everyone who brings it is dead set on using it and taking longer with the match. You can complete a gen in the time it takes to Self Care.

If you're not going to at least read what they say, why bother to comment?
Why should they read your post if you refuse to read theirs?
Do you not understand the sad irony of trying to criticize someone about their opinions about the game that you assume they know nothing about, when you yourself don't even know anything they are complaining about by your own omission?
Don't be a hypocrite.
How am I a hypocrite? Cuz I KNOW they complained the game is unbalanced and want their money back? Why should I waste an hour of my life reading and trying to understand something that is simplified by "This game is crap, give me back my money."

Not even gonna read what you said, based off your first sentence.
Cute, keep complaining though. You'll never see your money again. :)
Not our fault you wasted your money, some people just don't wanna hear it when it's yoooouuur fault.
-
I've gone up against nurses a few times and they're still pretty good. Idk why everyone is complaining. Sorry that anyone who hates her now hates change. Try to adjust. At least try. And if you can't, switch to a different killer. Simple.
Don't act as if life is over because her blinks now have a charge timer.
-
Yeah, I've had that happen usually with the Rank Update Error. It's stupid... Like... how does that error even exist? What problem was there with updating my rank MID GAME when it shouldnt even need to update!
They need to fix everything that disconnects people. And if they can't (which I know they can), at least make the game recognize when you DC intentionally vs the game disconnecting you due to something.
-
Not even gonna read what you said, based on the titled I'm going to assume your mad at the state of the game and you're crying about have a little bit less money now. Well, there's this little thing called Research.
It is YOUR fault for not knowing ANYTHING about this game before buying it because it is the player's choice to read up on a game and it's forums. If you take the choice to NOT read up on the game AT ALL you should NOT be asking for a refund.
Sorry you wasted your money, but it's a lesson learned. Too bad so sad. Next time you go to buy a game, research.
-
Okay, pair this idea with anti gen perks like Thana, Pop, Ruin, etc. Not to mention the op addons out there on various killers. So Survivors can no longer play the game. GREAT! I hope you realize how unfair this would be. People already want gen speed nerfed. You want this idea added in? Not tryin' to be rude, but I don't wanna spend 15 years on a single gen because killers don't want the survivors to play the game anymore.
Right now all the debuffs are either caused by addons, perks, or a specific killer's power. There's no debuff that's there just because it can be or that's there because of anything other than what I listed.
So if ANYTHING it should be attached to killer addons or make a new killer way down the line with a perk that does something similar but not too op or have that killers power do something like this.
-
I'd sooner hate Pop than Ruin. I can work with Ruin, but Pop is the real game ruiner for me. But it's whatever.
I'd sooner like to see a nerf on Ruin (not a complete rework) though ONLY if they nerf gen speeds (because I've heard numerous big streamers and people complaining about gen speed so I wouldn't be surprised if gen speeds got nerfed one day). Otherwise, I see it being fine as is.
-
As much as I'd like to list off things that bother me in matches, I won't this time around and just say things happen. I try to enjoy the game and if I can't, hopefully me at least sticking around and trying causes others to continue to enjoy the game.
But I will say that if I had to choose one thing that's most unfun above everything else, it's not even something in a match. I would say the amount of toxicity I see in End Game Chats is unfun. Whether I look at the chat or not, I usually know that someone is rolling their eyes so hard they fall out of their sockets. People jus' needa chillllll.
-
Gotta love it, eh? People who buy the game just to not even play it then complain. Sorry you and other Freddys have to go through this.
*pat pat*

After I saw my first Nurse game play video, I learned immediately that she's strongest killer in the game because she goes through walls. But I am not sure about that after the recent patch.
I think she's still pretty strong tbh, Nurse players just need to adjust. I actually got a nurse match the other day (which is a rarity now it feels) and she was quite op... not including the very questionable hits she made at the start.
@AngryFluffy said:
The first things Ilearmed when I started to play in 2016 was hitting skillchecks obviously. However, back then everyone was still in the learning phase and didn't know much, so there was no big deal. In 2017 I made a really long break from the game and started again in 2018. I noticed pretty fast that not only the game had changed, but also the skill level of the players. But I wanted to get better and to survive longer than 15 seconds in a chase and I started to watch YouTube videos and streams and I noticed pretty fast what the main difference between these skill levels was. They always knew where the killer was and they didn't throw every single pallet. They looked behind them. And this was actually the first thing I learned to improve my skills.
So I would say it is obviously not the first thing ever to learn, but the first thing you learn to improve yourself.
However, I'd never attack anyone for not doing it. Some people just play for fun and maybe see no need to improve their skills and it is completely fine. I just did learn it because I wanted to get better, just for myself.
Ye, I'm sure that's the first thing some people learn when trying to improve but then there's people like me who don't watch videos much. Just sucks that some others seem to think that you need to be pro and learn every little thing before you play, we jus wanna have funs.

Every day (9pm my time) the rift days lowers down and it happened to be that archives were disabled on 8pm and enabled back again on 10pm so the time wasn't taken away
Regardless of what time every day the rift loses another day, the same day of the release they shouldn't take away 1 whole day for just 2 hours. I don't see the point in putting "70 days" upon release just for it to say "69 days" 2 hours later. Idk about you, but I've gone to school and I recall learning there is 24 hours in a day.
But like I said, one day would only help a tiny bit (due to people having jobs, school, friends, chores, etc). So I was never too torn up about it I'm just stating we coulda had at least 1 extra day for the last tier of the rift when the time comes if they hadn't of taken away that one day.
-
I like it, doubt they'd do it different for different terror radius. Just an "he's in the area" music like Freddy n Myers.
But it's nice, also doubt they'll do custom music anyway sadly.
-
They expect you to no life their game probably. They don't realize people have jobs, friends, etc... but they also might not care.
And I know it's only a single day but they ripped one day of the rift away from us. When there was the issue with the Archives and they had to gray it out for about 2 hours once it was released, it had said 70 days before it was grayed out. Once they fixed it, it said 69 days (didn't know 2 hours = 1 day, but no idea if they ever gave us that day back) and I'm sure that one day could still help some people have a tiiiiny bit more time in the end to complete this.

What you are quoting has been taken out of context from a Custom Game, during a Tournament with its own rules.
As I already said we do not approve or encourage DCing, there's a system to punish it and I'd like to remind you that the servers are still in a testing phase, until they are not on every platform, they won't be considered live, so you can't expect to have a new system ready and implemented.
@JiggleWiggle There's an escalation process, from a week ban to a permaban, you can find all the information you need in this thread:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system
In a way, it is encouraged.
For one, these big streamers are looked up to by many MANY people and whether it be in Twitch Rivals or in a normal game, they do it. And more often than you think. It is showing all these other players they are most indeed allowed to do it if these big streamers are allowed to. Doesn't matter if it ends up being in a custom match for this event, it still shows people "Let's screw over the killer so they can't try for a 4k." and people take that mentality to normal games.
So even if you don't encourage it, by not punishing these streamers people think you are.
Two, I could not find the forum thread or else I'd have posted it here but within the past week or so someone expressed their concerns about the disconnections in Twitch Rivals. They wanted DCs to be punished. I know they mentioned other stuff about disconnecting but I cannot fully remember everything. However, a mod actually replied to that forum. They did mention how custom games are a different story BUT also said that there is a "Disconnection Quota" in normal games and if people have not met that quota, they will not get banned. Therefore, DCing is NOT punished. Not to mention, first hook deaths (at the very beginning of the game) and force closing the game are the same as disconnecting but are not counted. So again, it's encouraged until those are counted as a disconnect.
Three, I have seen people who put lists on their steam profile or who have openly admitted on this forum how often they DC and why they DC and their lists and words to me basically imply they disconnect almost every round or at least very often. But the fact that people like this still get to play the game says to me they are not being punished.
If anything, BHVR should create an automated system that bans someone if they DC at least 3 times within a 2-3 hour timespan. Have the ban timer start at a few hours, if they come back and continue, keep extending the timer. Once the ban timer reaches a 1 week ban, perma ban them because they clearly won't learn their lesson. Have the timer reset every Tuesday. The only types of DCs that should not count to this is game crashes or being pulled out due to a rank update error (which still has yet to be fixed).
-
The thing that bothers me about the dedicated servers isn't even the servers, I'm fine with how it is. It's the players who say everything is wrong with it, no it isn't perfect but nothing ever is. Those complaining about ping I'm just like "Have you contacted your internet provider lately? Have you cleaned off your router and modem?" Because it's not just the servers, people still don't understand that their internet affects their ping still. Every solo que round I do is green ping, idk why people complain. SWF is different though, someone will always be in another region thus having horrible ping.
-
What confuses a lot of people about toxicity is they don't know the difference between using what the game gave to you and behaving in a specific way/having a specific play style.
Here's my list:
-Flashlight clicking. It is in no way, shape, or form toxic to blind the killer but what can be seen as toxic is spamming that flashlight click sound at the killer. Why? Because some see it as "Hey loser! Come notice me! Come chase me! I bet you can't!" or something else.
-Tbagging. Why? Because it says "Lulz you are TERRIBLE at chasing me! You are TERRIBLE at looping. You are TERRIBLE at this game. Look at how much better I am than you!"
-Constant vaulting/'lockering'. You know how the killer gets a notification when you do a quick action like vaulting or going into a locker? That's what it is. Why is it toxic? Because it's a way to say "Hey look dumdum! I'm over here!" Primarily people do it to egg on the killer in a SWF if they're the best at looping in their team or if someone finds the hatch and they wanna rub it in the killers face.
-Camping. We all know what this means and why it's done. It usually means the killer knows they will fail if they actually try to go for someone else. Meaning they admit they're not a good killer and want to assert their dominance over the hooked survivor or over the altruistic teammates. (Tunneling could be included but to tunnel you have to be around the hook to know where the unhooked person went so it's still camping in my opinion)
-"gg ez" okay good, it was 'ez' for you. No one cares. But it's toxic because you're basically telling the other side "Wow, you guys were no challenge. Disappointed... Get good plz" Why can't you just say gg and move on.
-Slugging to let you bleed out. Some killers have Infectious or they just see another player around. That's perfectly fine to slug to go after someone else in the area. It's smart. So long as you hook the people eventually. I had a round a long time ago where a Billy just downed everyone and stared at each of us, didn't do a thing and just let us all bleed out.
-Trashtalk. For obvious reasons. For example "white knight" is used as an insult, I got called one because I was in a 2 person SWF and I stuck up for my friend who doesn't play like a pro (which is something most survivors expect, is for everyone else to play like a pro)
There might be things I missed but in the end most people see everything as toxic. Flashlights and moris? Oh nonono, if you bring those to the party you toxic (even though you're actually not). Gen rush? hahaha, stop doing your objective please (and in response to people like that I've been hearing the term 'hook rush' now). People just expect the game to go THEIR way. No one else can have fun except for them and it's dumb.
-
I just like the game, while I could list everything I like I'll instead list what I don't like:
Disconnections, Campers, teammates who do nothing, and toxic people. Literally everything else I do not mind, and yeah escaping/being able to live longer than others is fun for me but I FULLY understand that crap happens. It just... happens. I don't DC unless DbD crashes or kicks me out due to an error (which then it's not my fault). I don't want to ruin anyone else's fun. Because unlike so many others I, again, FULLY understand the world does NOT revolve around me.
People just need to tough it out and learn that they bought this game without doing their research about it, the second you buy a game you agree that it's a game and it's meant for fun. You agree that you cannot control everything that happens and things that happen just happen.
-
According to a thread I saw one of the mods comment on, there is a DC "Quota" but I saw a profile earlier that listed everything they DC for and to me it basically said they DC almost every round if not every round. So how someone like that isn't banned is beyond me.
I feel like the quota should be less. And things like first hook suicides or force closing your game should count as a DC if it happens before 2 minutes or so is up since that is a way around DCs.
-
So tl;dr, you want no more toxicity? Cute, gl though.
Others have tried and failed. I have tried bringing up certain issues that are on both sides and asked people to stop. I've tried to ask people in end game lobbies to be nice when they're not. I kinda just get crap thrown in my face whether it be because people think I'm complaining too much (when I'm just annoyed at what I'm seeing while trying to make a point) or because they just think being toxic is fun (and I've seen people say that). I've tried to tell some friends/smaller streamers to just get over certain things. O-or I get ignored. I'm sure similar things happen with others who have tried to tell people to stop being toxic.
I agree things need to be peaceful, but would anyone actually listen? Uhhh, it'll take a lotta voices or one very important voice to put a stop to it.
Few reasons why people are like this though is because some were born heartless, then you also have big streamers who are looked up to and promote toxicity, there are people out there who teach their friends to tbag the killers and what not, then you got all these people who want the game to be made their way so they're the only one who gets to have fun, and the list goes on.
But most online games have a lot of toxicity, not just us (one reason I don't play OW anymore).

Gesp, can he be our new Christmas tree topper. O:
-
1) Gen times are fine. Idk what else to say about it. Idk what you want, it sounds like you don't want survivors to do their objective.
2) Spirits can phase like half way across most maps as it is. So I'm getting that you want her to be able to phase ALL the way across the map thus making her phasing more op? Naw fam. Leave the maps, they ain't got nuthin' to do with Spirit getting a nerf one day. Talk about the Spirit only.
3) Not all SWFs are smart or coordinated. Those that are can still be easily defeated. How about you just... "git good" (cuz I recall you saying that to me when I suggested Spirit tweaks so I will throw it right back).
4) Why is gen rushing even a term? As I said before, are survivors just not supposed to do their objective? "Excuse me, survivor sir, could you wait about 2 minutes before doing a gen? And then wait 2 more before doing another? Thanks." I've started to hear the term "hookrushing" recently because of this. How about let's all sip tea for about a minute before playing the game, think that sounds good.

My comment was deleted when I went to fix an error (least on my screen but for some reason) but if you saw it, okay.

I could not disagree more, BHVR made these killers so they could all make people happy with their different play styles and ways to kill.
People who like to play stealthy can play GF, for example, but people are forced to play killers who don't suit their preferred play styles because they are really weak and can't get kills basically... *cough* Legion *cough*. Your complaints make no sense, you are basically saying he wants to mix all killers.
You're just complaining because you have adapted to certain killers and are afraid to face a killer that you're not familiar with that isn't complete garbage.
I can tell you saw my comment.
But I play Legion, I get kills. I'm not that good at killer though so I miss a lot of my hits in the first place and if I get a round where all are alive at the end, it's cuz ima potato. I'm not actually complaining though. I rarely even play killer. Idc who I verse nor am I afraid to verse any of the killers, I don't ever DC or anything. It's whatever.
I'm legit just saying, they don't all need to be extra buffy. Like I had said, some are low tier, some are top tier. It's not like the world will end if they don't all become deadly ass monsters like the Spirit (who I have no problem with usually). Nothing can be perfectly balanced.
-
Once people actually learn to play these top tier killers, it becomes super hard to beat them. Even in SWFs. It's not hard to wreck a SWF, people complain saying how SWF is too strong but I've seen SWFs be slaughtered by Spirits and Nurses (before this nerf obviously). No matter the rank too. So if weaker killers are buffed, it's just gonna get harder and harder for survivors to be able to play the game. Not all killers should be weak but not all killers should be strong either. I feel they should just leave it as is. I'd rather have some be low tier, some be mid, and some be top. Not all top or all low.
And there's always... ALWAYS going to be a killer that's not as good as the rest. Should they all get addons like Iri Hatchets or Prayer Beads? Should they all be able to sprint at 225% speed? Should they all be able to shroud their terror radius? No, not at all.
If you want them to buff all the killers though instead of nerfing a single one, I say buff Adren, let the sprint last longer and give us endurance on top of being healed a full health state. Make Dead Hard go a longer range. Let us have and be able to hit DS off both hooks and not just one. Sound fair? Hahahahaaa... no. Pft, not at all. Because I'm sure if killers got all these wonderful extra buffy buffs, this is what survivor mains would want for their perks.
There will be low tier anythings in this game and top tier things. You can't have every little thing be balanced with each other perfectly.

I used to hear of Hatch standoffs going on for hours and hours (if people were that lifeless and dedicated). So um, I feel there was reason for removal.

Considering you carried a survivor around for fifteen minutes, I'd say you were the toxic one here. Probably why the first two left.
They could have wiggled out you know. If they choose not to, who is at fault? If they had wiggled he'd of probably just hooked them instead of carrying them.

If you used your eyes and read his story, and your brain and realized no Killer can carry a Survivor for 15 minutes unless the Survivor LETS them, you'd realize your post is completely wrong.
..Or you can attack the OP for no reason and look very silly. I mean, he could in no way be at fault unless you ignore every fact in his post, but sure; he was being toxic because he was a Killer. Continue your 'Survivors are victims' attempt.
I like to call it the "Survivor Rulebook Believer" rather than survivors are victims attempt.
One of the primary rules are the killers cannot play the game and must let the survivors win. Remember, everything has to go the way they want it or else killers are toxic. And the way they want it is a farming match every round.

When my team does nothing to help me during the match. And I mean NOTHING!
Had a round once. Me, friend, 2 rando megs. My friend did a total of a gen or a gen and a half (he got chased most of the round). One of the megs did one gen (after I had done 2 1/2). When I finally got hooked once, one of the megs WALKED across the ENTIRE MAP... letting me get to stage two before finally saving me. I ended up dying at one point though, I coulda got out had I still had a hook left in me. They were actually useless in our match. At the end when I asked what they were doing I got "just doing some gens" excuse me...? No, ma'am, no you weren't.
Oh, and DCers. I wanna have fun too but how can I when I get fudged over by people crying that they got found and weren't stealthy enough.
-
Yeah, a friend and I were testing out some things in KYF days ago that we wanted to know and I brought in Lullaby, Ruin, and 2 other perks. The perk symbol for Ruin was never lit up and I only saw the red aura of one totem on the map. However, we did actually find the 2nd lit totem. So it was active but I just wasn't able to see it.
Probably a bug.
-
That makes no sense. I wish they had explained because I want their side honestly. I'm curious, it's not like that's a bannable offense. So what is their issue? Most killers slug for the 4k and it's not wrong to do so.
And if you wanna carry someone who is refusing to crawl away or wiggle, that's your choice and their fault.
-
I feel like if the killer is doing nothing the whole game, they should just be disconnected after x amount of minutes and yes, given no points or anything. But what of the people with bots who just m1 while standing still the whole time? To Behaviour, I'm sure that counts as doing something.
Will this ever happen though? Perhaps not... *shrug*
