Should that Mikey go pressure gens instead?
-
Guarantee you the guy that made this thread plays in a 4-man SWF with his buddies and plays to have fun by going for sick IW and dead hard flashlight saves
-
If I give up and go AFK cause every survivor is a god looper and almost 5 gens are done with 1 hook, is that bannable?
-
Expecting to win by not trying is not the same as getting matched with players that you actually just cannot catch because they have 7k hours, are using stretched res, and have every single busted loop and map memorized. When you get a team of players like that and tack on Dead Hard, it's a miserable experience. I just go AFK now if 4 gens are gone and I've gotten like 1 hook and everyone can loop
-
Try proxy camping and tunneling out the first guy you have hooked. Run NOED too. I find that's wildly entertaining. Survivors said to just accept losing and find your own way to have fun, so that's what I do. It's funny as hell. Watching the whole team stop what they're doing to try to save a guy getting tunneled out or watching them make hopeless saves to feed you a 4k when you have NOED. It's great!

This would only be acceptable if there would be a penalty for Lobbydodging. Otherwise Killers would just dodge Lobbies until they get a Lobby of 4 Solos which they can stomp.
@Topic:
I would be for it, however, BHVR will probably not do it. You already get a lot of toxicity when playing in an SWF, would probably increase even more when Killers can actually see that.
And well, players who claim they only lose against SWFs (like some popular Streamers) will lose their excuse for losing if they cannot assume that every team they face is some 4 man SWF.
LOL you GET a lot of toxicity while being in a SWF? Hahaha, SWFs generate like 95% of the toxicity, BM, and hate in this game
-
Hey man I'm playing killer right now, just doing my part to lower the queue times. I hard camp and tunnel and run NOED though now
-
Rather than try to improve quality of life so that more people want to play killer, the devs just throw out the matchmaking and shove survivors with any killer player so they don't have long queue times. Survivors far outnumber the needed killer players in prime hours
-
The devs care more about the SWF not having a long queue time than they do about you having a fair matchup. Look man, you need to realize that the devs do not give one single ######### about the killer side of the game. Then you have to decide whether killer is fun enough to put up with the bs

I will keep playing him because I find him fun and like his aesthetic
Just hope he recovers buffs "soon tm"
Ik he probably won't but one can be optimistic and hopeful
You're gonna be contributing all of the kill rate and pick rate statistics for the devs lol
-
Yeah man you got to understand everything in this game is designed to ######### the killer as hard as possible. there's the snowmen, the maps, the adepts lol. survivor adept is easy. if the game goes long enough, you can even get it if the killer dcs lmao
-
You should wait until right after grade reset to try to get the adept. You don't need 4 iris to get merciless killer at the low grades. But yeah, Slinger is god awful now. The devs absolutely gutted him. People paid good money for this killer and they made him useless and frustrating. They're not getting another buck out of me
-
Her power is more effective purely for tracking and forcing a survivor away from a strong loop than it actually is for downing or injuring people. She definitely will not be getting buffs and I see her getting nerfed cause she's "boring" and "unfun" for the survivors
-
Killers have one second chance perk while survivors have a thousand and they won't leave it alone
-
What a useless rework
-
Wow I'm amazed how many of you really good solo queuers just loop the killer 5 gens ez pz and then die. Wow that's incredible!
-
Worked fine for me on PS5
-
I'm pretty confident that if its a base mechanic that it'll require 2 hooks on every survivor before it can be used lol
-
This is a great time to be a killer player. I get the 4-man comp squads one out of every 4 games or so instead of every single game thanks to the long survivor queue times. I get to chill and get some kills after getting stomped with 2 hook 4 escape
-
I love when killers are trollin with some Bubba
-
Hahaha that ol' silly Ghostface, just memeing around pretending to mark that ol' survivor in the snowman
-
Are there no 100% BP offerings??
-
I had a survivor body block the pallet in a jungle gym with a snowman and help me get a down lol. That was funny
-
The devs are extremely survivor biased. This isn't new to anyone, especially killer mains. You just have to accept it. It's not going to change until survivor queue times are actually 15+ minutes
-
They could have given the M1 killers a sled to get around the map
-
Why isn't their an evil snowman that damages the survivor for one health state? 50% good snowmen, 50% evil snowmen. How hard is that to do?
-
Because it's fun for them? What kind of a dumb question is this?
-
Making sure the 4-man sweat squad doesn't have long queue times is more important to the devs than your experience as a new player. They've stated they throw the MMR system out once queue times get too long. That team of 4 sweats will buy more cosmetics than you probably will
-
You were probably playing against me, I try to cleanse every totem when I play solo queue cause I think boons are unfair
-
Because the devs hold the survivors hand to ensure that even the most baby survivors can escape, so that means gens not only have to just take 1 button to complete with a huge skill check but they need to get done fast too
-
Tunnelling is the de facto strat in comp not even so much as that the survivor objective is so easy if they're smart and split up and can play safe, but because survivors are limited to one DS and BT usually. Now, I've never actually played comp being basically locked out of it for being on Playstation, but it seems like you just roll the dice and hope the guy that gets unhooked isn't the one on the team with DS. In pubs at high MMR you're seeing 4 BT and 4 DS most of the time
-
Focus on having fun while getting destroyed and bullied repeatedly by squads at high MMR !!! Make it your goal to get 3 hooks and you'll have fun!!!
-
Well, if you're going for kills and you're getting matched against opponents that are too difficult to beat, the best thing to do is just use facecamping Leatherface with NOED. He's guaranteed 2 kills assuming he can down someone before 3 gens are gone, or you can play by the survivor rulebook and get 3 hooks with maybe 1 kill if you're very lucky

What's up with Bubbas using Claudette's face on? Is that some sort of meme?
They're Proud Boys using it to intimidate PoC and terrorize the community. It's unbelievable that BHVR hasn't put a stop to it yet and removed the cosmetic altogether because of how problematic it is
-
You should only try for them after grade reset. You can earn merciless killer with less Iri emblems when you're at the lowest grades
-
You can even earn survivor adept if the killer DCs!
-
To start with, they need to replace the zombies with hunters or lickers and give them a big ass speed boost
-
Twins and Deathslinger are why I don't spend my hard-earned cash on killers anymore
-
The wasting time not doing generators argument is such a dumb argument unless you manage to snuff the totem before they can even heal anybody. That really doesn't happen often at all unless they just boon right next to an unfinished generator. This perk ######### me hardest when I've got 3 - 4 survivors injured and the other 3 heal in like 8 seconds while I'm hooking somebody. I've lost all of my pressure immediately. This is the more common scenario that happens, especially against SWF. They don't mindlessly place boons, they put them where the killer has no reason to go, and it's a free reset. These perks are busted. When I play solo survivor, I run totem builds and cleanse every totem I can find while I'm doing survivor stuff just to prevent my teammates from using them they're that broken.
-
Circle of Healing and Exponential are just ######### awful to play against with the Twins. Circle of Healing is in every single match now. It's pure misery.
-
I'm not surprised Otz would say that. I take a lot of what Otz, ScottJund, OhTofu, etc etc say about SWF and survivor balancing with a grain of salt because they're monetarily incentivized to attract people to watch their streams, sub, and content. There are 4x more survivors to appeal to and I don't think they want to hear about how skilless baby mode SWF is. tru3 is like the only one that doesn't seem to care about that, but he's not nearly as big as Otz
-
Because survivor takes no skill just to win. Get on comms with your friends, hard split on gens, run all 2nd chance perks, and insta throw every pallet because there are 40 of them on every map and you will 3+ escape no matter how good the killer is. Real skillful

"the game isn't THAT lopsided, you can be good if you just improve," proclaims 10,000 hour streamers who make their living by playing game for 8+ hours every day.
Did you know that the level designer in the game "Catherine" ended up getting so good at playing the game, that he ended up making levels that nearly no normal player could beat? They had to move those levels over to a special arcade challenge mode because the man had lost sight of a typical user experience. That is what it's like like professional streamers talk about "oh comms don't help survivors THAT much," or "any killer is viable," or "well THIS power definitely has be be nerfed! Look how often I 4k with it, despite 4k'ing with every killer every time because of my overwhelming experience advantage."
Great post, exactly how I feel watching videos from OhTofu and ScottJund talk about how SWF doesn't give any advantages and isn't a problem
-
Kill rate stats are so juked that no one should take them seriously. If I'm playing against really good survivors, a lot of the time if I get 2 - 3 kills it's because someone just threw themselves at me in the EGC trying to save my one kill that I was going to get. They could have just left and it would have been a 1k
-
@WishIcouldmain said:
It’s not that hard to deal with flashlights. And a squad that committed to flashlights is easier to beat.
I mean, this is just objectively wrong. Most of the hardcore flashlight bully squads are survivors with thousands and thousands of hours that are bored of the game and just want to make the game as frustrating as possible. They're all running every 2nd chance perk, iron will, and dead hard. They are not easy to beat in the slightest for the vast majority of killer players
-
I'm convinced that toxic bully squads never get banned no matter how much racism they exhibit or how many times they tell you to ######### in endgame chat because they buy neon cosmetics hand over fist
-
Not much you can do about it other than knowing these people are serious losers in real life. This game just synergizes too well with the internet bullies given the 1v4 nature and the million second chance perks and pallets the survivors have
-
I play both sides, killer by default except survivor for dailies and tomes. I like the killer main players, but the survivor players are obnoxious and aren't worth associating with IMO. I play on PlayStation. I have over 150 people blocked from sending me messages because they send me hate filled messages cause they're mad they lost. It's all survivor players too. I've had a killer player message me one time and that was asking to farm. Every time I watch a TTVer's stream after I get a win as killer they're non-stop calling me a piece of ######### or some other slur. The big killer main streamers are a lot more enjoyable to watch while most big survivor main streamers get their jollies by trying to make the game as miserable as possible for the killer player

Unless you want to learn all killers at once, playing survivor requires more skill.
Lol, survivor takes zero skill. You just need to know enough to stay spread out on gens. Hop on comms with your buddies, run all 2nd chance perks, and insta throw pallets to keep the killer from getting hits/downs and it's ez clap. There are like 40+ pallets on every map with busted structures. You have to seriously try hard to lose in this game as survivor
-
Corrupt Intervention is such an overrated perk. Against good survivors, they just get on the gens that aren't blocked as soon as you start your chase and they get 2+ gens done anyways during the time that Corrupt is active! 3-genning is absolutely useless now because of Circle of Healing. It's in every single game now. You can't win the war of attrition. You commit to the chase and they finish the gen. If you stay on the gens, they just heal in 4 seconds. Balance changes need to be made to rectify these issues in regards to survivor spawns and preventing killer snowball. Every perk now is designed to stop the killer from having any chance of capitalizing on survivor mistakes. When the survivors don't make many mistakes at all, 2 hook games are the norm. No one is going to keep playing killer with that result every game
