Or...we could get rid of the dedicated servers and forget they ever existed, everyone would be happier
-
This can be done as any killer in some basements, most notably the blood lodge basement. It's pretty ######### scummy but then again, bodyblocking is an intended feature

What makes you think he brought in his bounties alive, or even wanted to? Plenty of sheriff's willing to pay for proof that the offender won't be causing any more problems
His job was bringing them to a private prison, basically he was let out with the boys so the owner would make more money

His original "prototype" of the redeemer actually did kill people, but I assume that in lore, he would go for somewhere less... Detrimental than the chest, more likely something like a leg. Enough medical aid can fix that, but shooting the torse is best from a gameplay standpoint.
Considering how brutally they would catch living people, they also had to carry something to at least stop the bleeding. Probably just burned the wounds and poured some booze on it?

@Trashmaster Feng Min is Chinese...
Oh wait ######### I'm and idiot
-
Probably we'll have a chinese character first, but yea sure and Indian lad would be pretty nice
-
Probably because 90% of demo players fall into the trap of the spammable ability, they just shred, shred, shred and shred, wasting their time massively and not doing any damage

Time to play Doctor I guess
You'll get stealthed quite often, static blast will get them moving but nothing stops the claudette from just hopping to the next bush
-
Well isn't UI scaling going to be a thing with next patch (or is it just the in-game HUD?) so you can adjust it
-
@OniWantsYourMacaroni said:
To expose him you need to work on a totem/chest on the other side of the map, while the ghostface is behind some kind of object.
At least that's how survivors knock me out of shroud everytime i play ghostface
Yea that's how it works, I can't remember the last time I revealed a ghostface while he was actually visible
-
One can only wonder why the healing speed boost exists at all, dying light has never been very strong though it isn't totally useless. Remember when you had to mori the obsession to get any use out of it?
-
Wow, finally a use for all those coldwind offerings. Actually wouldn't it be pretty cool if you could choose if you want a map offering to have the reverse effect
-
Nah just cut the cooldown to 10 seconds and you're done, premonition is finally kinda good
-
Spirit by itself is very strong and has some of the strongest add-ons in the whole game.
Not saying that the add-ons should get the hillbilly treatment though, spirit itself could be nerfed and then the add-ons would be fine

Lery's has flickering signs outside the rooms containing a generator. The gen in the treatment area is a guaranteed spawn.
In The Game, look for the closed sliding metal doors. There would be a gen around those. The gen in the bathroom is guaranteed.
On Hawkings too you can look for the closed sliding doors. Those have the peculiarity of twitching. However, there's a long standing bug where sometimes there's no gen associated with the door. You can also look for flickering lights, especially in the corridors. Gens can spawn on the ground floor, or upstairs for the rooms that have an upper floor. The gens in the portal room (spawns only upstairs) and the one in the isolation room (the small one all the way upstairs on the map highest floor, which will give you the achievement/thropy) are guaranteed.
On Midwhich, there are no indications, as far as I know. The gens can spawn inside the rooms, in the corridors and in the courtyard. The only places where I haven't seen a gen are the toilets, the stairs, the gate areas, the reception (but it can spawn in the room behind it) and the small locker room (not the large one, that one can have a gen). The only guaranteed spawns are the music and the chemistry classroom, but only one of those at a time, if I'm not mistaken.
In midwich you can see the generator lights through windows but really that doesn't help much since you can only see the lights when you're almost right next to the damn gen
-
Well I guess they just expect people to be running bamboozle on killers that can't just go through the walls
-
Object is absolutely ridiculous for swf squads, if playing 3 or 4 man squads weren't a thing this perk would be kinda okay
-
No that's totally fine, just like slugging at any other phase of the game
-
Probably not going to happen since the only new thing they could do with a chainsaw is...a chainsaw trap?
-
Why would anyone use a perk that straight up helps survivors complete objectives faster? Yea unnerving presence out of terror radius doc builds is total garbage and might just do more bad than good for you

I'm sorry, not trying to start an argument. Are you really saying Spirit is easier than Doctor or Bubba? Because if you are, I would like to wholeheartedly disagree with you. Have a pleasant day!
Absolutely, both doctor and bubba take a lot of timing and when their abilities are used badly, you simply fail to do any damage and the chase basically starts again from the beginning. Spirit has an ability with insane mobility so you're free to ######### up
-
Well compared to most killers spirit is extremely easy, only killers I'd say are easier would be freddy and myers
-
Lightborn is useful if you for some reason play with very low sensitivity, otherwise it just makes toxic idiots who would probably die anyway waste their time
You still do get points for flashlight evasion though, so might be worth looking around a bit
-
Cleansing a totem takes whole 8 seconds? Nope can't do bones that's a whole 10% generator progress lost right there
-
The point of dedicated servers is making your latency and your experience worse, I don't see any other reasons for them to exist
-
As a person who plays nurse maybe once in 2-3 months if I bother to actually do a nurse daily, I can say that nurse is ridiculously easy to play and most of these matches end in a 3k.
You don't need muscle memory, you don't need add-ons, you just need a moment to adjust and blinking gets pretty easy.
However survivors you go against have played against the nurse possibly hundreds of times and faced actual nurse mains, they know where the nurse can blink with ease and where she gets stuck in a rock, you might not if you don't play survivor much.
-
The chat is absolutely perfect, being mad and toxic is part of the dbd experience and you too should enjoy it
-
Imagine people getting actually banned for disconnecting in a game that crashes randomly and loses connection to servers for no reason, damn we wouldn't have many players
-
Honestly tinkerer was overbuffed, the 85% was already usable (the undetectable was too short though) and now it is actually top-tier for most killers
-
Fair, no. Unfair, not really. Leatherface is overall pretty balanced and how well the chainsaw works depends on the map
-

No. M&A is stinky on doc so I never use it on him
Monitor does go well with a stupidass terror radius build
-
Well that would definitely be the instant window vaults
-
I really like the legion and doctor lobby music, but in-game deathslinger and hillbilly are just the best
-
It looks about the same to the killer, survivors teleporting around is more than slightly bothering
-
Anything between 70-300, back in the day 200 was generally the worst I'd get

Stink as in what exactly? Not getting kills, her base kit, or...?
Playing against a killer designed for guarding areas sucks balls. Of course one could run urban evasion just to avoid the 1 hag you see weekly, but I'd rather just suicide on first hook and get into a potentially enjoyable game
-
No thank you, the hag absolutely stinks and I doubt anyone wants to see more people playing it
-
Hex: Life Support
Every time you are healed for a health state, you gain a Token up to a maximum of 3/4/5 Tokens.
Each token grants a stackable 20% bonus to healing speed and dying recovery speed.
Consume 2 Tokens to fully recover from the dying state.
When the hex totem is cleansed by a survivor, you gain the hemorrhage status effect for 120 seconds and the exposed status effect until the end of the trial.
The trial begins with 1 additional totem.
-
You do still have footsteps, though with dbd sounds you never know if those can actually be heard or not.
And for the spirit, the haunting really should do the opposite with sounds that it does now. Mute the survivors, hear everything else
-
I absolutely love the hate. Almost every day I play someone goes and expands my salt collection with such original comments as "only tunnel and camp"
-
Just don't blink literally everywhere and you'll do better, it's literally the #1 mistake of bad nurses
-
Assuming they're going with the regular schedule, in 1-3 days
-
Rusty shackles doesn't really do anything, if you trigger a trap the hag gets a free hit unless they're currently carrying a survivor or using scarred hand.
So yea you can only wonder why it even exists
-

Yes here's a small list
no mither
monstersious shrine
Dead man's switch
trail of torment
Tenacity
Light weight
And shadow born
I dunno about shadowborn but rest of those certainly could use a buff
-
It is just the server latency, you really can't do anything about it
-
It's not easy to port a game to terrible hardware while keeping all the content in place.
Ironically modern phones are absolute monsters and remaking a whole game for them is easier than for consoles which are literally made for games
-
Well probably just that it's a damn waste of time if I'm not running dead hard and borrowed time, and I never use either
-
@SilentPill said:
Because discordance and tinkerer are better. That’s about it. I’ve seen some spirits do it with surveillance but that’s because with the busted mother daughter ring + amulet combo she can patrol 4 gens in a single phase.
Discordance is total garbage and actually more obvious to the survivors than surveillance is, tinkerer is near broken or just pretty good depending on what killer you're playing.
Naturally tinkerer is the most used one of these since other control perks have conditions while tinkerer is unavoidable
-
Sounds pretty good until you actually want to vault but just make noise instead
-
Somewhat depends on the killer naturally. Stacking duration on clown makes bottles damn nasty, but stacking literally any add-on on doctor is just for meme builds
