Limited tokens really isn't that bad of a feature on a perk. Ever tried using distortion? It usually stays active till last gen unless you're going against tier 1 myers or something
-
So basically ruin lite, would still be fairly weak against semi-competent survivors
-
Well now that undying won't be total ass to go against, totem counter seems like a pretty hard and mostly pointless hit on killers
-
Rebalancing perks really should be done a bit faster than buffing/nerfing 4 of them every mid-chapter, but it is understandable that they don't want to make too big changes in a short time.
So many perks are mediocre or just not strong enough to matter but close to greatness, with simple mathematical buffs they could even become problematic so the effects themselves need to be touched...and that's how you make the game even more of a buggy ######### mess

Gonna assume you've spent all your life on console and or a Nintendo switch. FPS makes a huge difference in everything. Games regardless of genre and movies and shows.
Nah I play on a lower end laptop and have never owned a console, it sure ain't the most amazing gaming experience but it works pretty well

FPS does matter, the difference between 30 and 60 is huge. If you have a high refresh rate monitor you'll even notice a big difference between 60 and 120 fps.
Trust me, once you experience the difference you wouldn't want to go back. I bought a 144hz monitor years ago and can't imagine going back to even 60hz. I capped my FPS to 120 and play DBD on low settings just for the FPS. Much more smooth and gives a competitive advantage. (Trust me I went from Master Guardian 2 to Legendary Eagle in CS:GO in no time after upgrading my monitor!)
Never said that there's no difference in experience. Naturally anyone would want to run with 120FPS/144hz rather than 30~40FPS/60hz, but in dbd your FPS barely affects your performance.
Unless of course you're having constant drops when moving around...that does do more than just bother you.
-
Well the buff did make leatherface basically non-counterable, either you have a window in a ~12m radius, dump a pallet or you're down. At worst the bastard can go straight through a loop with a window and get you
-
FPS really doesn't matter much, if you get above 30 the game runs fine. Though great skillchecks become pretty hard to time
-
The oni would be ridiculously unfair to go against when you're too big and clumsy to actually ever dodge him.
Where's the spirit though? Spirit's haunting would make her not only fast as hell but also constantly invulnerable. Also cheapest, easiest hits on everyone

The one thing I want them to fix; that I don't think is even related to latency- is the fact that if you vault a window and there is a drop you can be hit substantially later than you can be hit from any other window.
Best way I can describe it is that if you vault a window from say the second story of a building; you can still be hit even if you are here for example:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/N8V76M9VNL8C/image.png
It will do this 100% of the time regardless of the connection quality. If you swing you'll hit them well after they have fallen because the game treats it like it's a normal window you are just...on the other side of.
It definitely isn't the latency, it has always happened and can be seen on both the killer and survivor. This seriously can't be too hard to fix but nothing has been done about it, all maps don't have any place where this can happen but high windows are getting more common with new maps
-
Trapper. But then I got better, climbed the ranks, and now I simply can't play trapper and have a good time.
-
Caveman (maybe tribal, maybe an actual ape man) killer would actually be possible, caveman survivor though most likely won't be happening.
Man now I want to go ooga booga in dbd
-
The servers simply suck ass, damn if we could just go back to the days of p2p. You can literally swing through people nowadays if there's 2 survivors in front you...and miss both of them
-
Just stop playing solo and do gens faster
-
Don't think I have ever needed bbq for it's primary effect on any killer, survivors are most of the time so obvious that the perk is either there for those easy points or replaced with something actually useful
-
Well wake up isn't even that bad tbh, but you really should consider playing with the super fun and interesting meta perks
-
Same with screaming and generators getting done, god I hate the circles covering half of the screen

Where's Myers haven't had a Myers game in months, it feels like or Ghostface, seen alot of Leatherfaces tho.I would also like to go against more Demo's.
Myers is a base killer with a few boosted stats. Doesn't exactly have all the tools killers have nowadays, and if I'm not entirely wrong pig's release is when people stopped playing it. Why play a simple murder man when you can be a flexible stealth killer with built-in slow down?
-
2v8 would just be extremely broken because of the absolute speed that generators would get done, assuming the objectives are roughly the same.
1v1v6 would be quite interesting though, killers against eachother and doing their best to ruin the other killer's match
-
It doesn't even work on the chad insidious camper, so it most certainly is designed for farming. Why do you think it depends on the terror radius instead of the actual distance to the killer?
-
I'd say trapper and pig are too low.
Agitation is depending on the map either straight up a top-tier perk, or just a simple time saver. Brutal strength is great for any chasing killer, though kinda trash on killers that aren't bothered much by pallets.
For pig we have make your choice, which is the only expose perk that actually gets you downs before the endgame. Surveillance is just discordance but not garbage. Survivors will be aware of it but can't really do anything about it, and it just becomes more powerful as the match progresses
-
Hopefully not, I'd say the twins should be a whole lot more punishing. Like what's the point of kicking victor if that little ######### is on you again after 10 seconds

How would a lunge that's worse favor the killer
Because it isn't worse? The frenzy lunge is extremely janky when turning, that's very true. But it also hits survivors when it most certainly should not.
There's often a small but noticeable delay with it so your lunge has already ended when the survivor is finally hit. Definitely not working as intended
-
Clunky? There's no word to describe the absolute state of the legion, though it seems to favour the killer with that absolute lunge
-
Because matchmaking sucks ass, there really ain't much else to it

I've been playing killer since 2016 when first down Mori's were a thing and legitimate infinites existed. Don't question my knowledge of playing killer. It's far higher than yours; and no, it's not possible to pressure every gen at the same time aside from hard slugging or a 3 gen.
Oh yes, the amazing argument of "haha I have big brain with knowledge"

There's only one killer. It's impossible to be pressuring every gen and every totem at the same time. Stop trying to come up with excuses why you're losing to ruin/undying killers. The problem is your inability to adapt. Not the build. Get better.
It seems that you don't understand the very basics of playing killer. Pressuring all generators is literally a waste of time, even mobile killers should be focusing on the generators that matter.
The generator in the corner of the map with nothing but survivor friendly map tiles nearby is better left alone, unless a key is in the game it's basically a trap.
However the generator with an another generator or a hex totem (possibly both) nearby is quite valuable and should be at least watched whenever possible.

If the killer is pressuring totems, they aren't pressuring gens. You guys keep using this logic and it's broken because of that fact alone.
I haven't seen literally one time where I've lost to a ruin/undying killer BECAUSE they had ruin/undying. It's always mine or a team mate's own screw up. Survivors don't get to whine about boring meta builds that killers use when they've been using the same busted meta builds, which are boring for killers, for the last almost 5 years.
If the killer is pressuring totems they're likely pressuring gens as well, thanks to the fact that 3/5 totems are right next to generators. One of the worst changes to the game ever in my opinion
-
While mettle of man can absolutely be used effectively it isn't very useful against any instadowns, the spirit's haunting or corrupt purge. So yea, it kinda sucks

Hag was devoured by cannibals. That's rotted flesh all over her. I can't imagine that smells pleasant. I'm not saying the Clown smells like a bouquet of roses, but compared to the Hag he would.
Why do you think the Pig would stink? Is Amanda Young known to smell bad in the Saw movies?
Hag is also mentioned to be dried up which should greatly reduce the smell.
With pig though, the pig head is real (and not so fresh) meat though isn't it? Unless the head is fresh and stays fresh in the entity's realm, it most certainly smells terrible

Carburetor tuning guide is bugged right now. I made a post with a similar question. Its supposed to give you a big speed boost, but right now it slows you down. I'm not touching that add on if i can help it, I got laughably stomped when i tried it out recently.
I am pretty damn sure that it even reads on the description that it slightly slows you down. It seems to be completely intentional but I sure didn't see anything on patch notes about it being changed
-
New iridescent head will give infinite hatchets instead, watch it happen. Gotta wonder what they'll be doing with the other iri add-on though

@ChurchofPig said:
I feel like part of it is "What am I supposed to do against a stealth killer that can see my aura?" I guess he is slower but it's still crazy on the survivor side if you face him on the wrong map (all inside maps except maybe Midwich)
In midwich you have to take a slightly different approach but not too long ago I did an easy 4k on it with burger king myers
The map is literally just a square on a square so survivors have pretty limited options when moving around and if they can't tell where you are, they'll eventually run into you
-
@Dwight_Fairfield said:
I imagine the Plague and the Hag stink to high heaven.
In terms of survivor I would say Nea. She doesn't look like she is too friendly with a shower.
Hag would probably have a rather muddy smell, which is likely quite pleasant compared to the absolute stink of the clown or pig
-
Hex perks in general are boring as hell, and in the case of ruin people often just hop from gen to gen until they happen to run into a hex totem. Basically it adds nothing but a minor annoyance for good survivors, and a reason not to do anything useful for bad survivors
-
Just dont do a damn thing and make the game boring for the killer as well, twins players do not deserve your effort and attention
-
Haddonfield is definitely one of the most balanced maps in the game, though some killers certainly do struggle in it.
- long but simple loops, extends chases but killers like bubba, huntress and deathslinger will use them against you
- incredibly easy to 3 gen survivors in
- quite possibly the worst basement location for survivors and always guaranteed to be in the same spot
- half of the pallets are safe, half of them are basically deathtraps
- very strong spots for traps
-
Avoid chases, even a rather mediocre spirit will always win in a chase.
Don't enjoy stealting and evading? Well that's just too bad because the other option is getting hooked (and most likely tunneled)
-
Best bug in a while, wouldn't even mind if it was left in
-
If you can't time it, just use sprint burst. It is overall more useful anyways

I thought Dull Totems made noise when breaking them. I'd either fear touching them, or would hide after breaking one. Took a few months till I was watching a streamer and he brought it up lmao
Well they do make noise, you can very clearly hear totem cleansing and breaking sounds to 12-18 meters
-
Probably just the fact that window hits in general are all over the place, sometimes it really does feel like the game is flipping a coin when basic attacking at windows
-
Getting into a game and seeing that the killer is the twins or hag
-
Tbh I still think old doctor was stronger since you could actually use play with your food with shock therapy and get grabs with minimal effort, it was kind of unfair
-
The pig has flexible abilities and doesn't have reduced stats, is easy to learn, can slow the game down quite a bit by just downing people... definitely near high-tier but can't exactly be compared to the top killers
-
You go around, step just a bit too close to a ######### small triangle on the ground you probably couldn't even see and you already know the bastard just got a free hit. Wow, so much fun, epic gameplay.
Would much rather just die and get to a potentially good game instead of the trap and basement torture that hag rounds are

She’s got the lowest kill rate because of how insanely hard it is to learn her.
Nurse is an incredibly easy killer and any claim that it would actually be hard is just total bullshit. Survivors have learned to play around the nurse, they know the tiles that are just plain painful to blink through, they know where they can break line of sight, they might also have played against the old nurse and reworked nurse is considerably easier to play against
-
Nope
-
Well there is the anniversary skin, but it really isn't much. Maybe with next tome...
-
It's pretty interesting how a 4 year old game is just reaching new peaks and pulling not only new players but also content creators and streamers. Guess behaviour mostly focusing on a single game for years and getting rid of the publisher has done good
