yeah but only an explosion wwill wake you up. no explosion = no wake up.

and at the end I think is too much advantage. even when i am playing survivor in this situation I feel it shouldn`t wake me up. xD

It's hilarious because of fail logic, but in a way, the game isn't meant to follow real-life physics.

Hag teleports to traps because she can.

Shape gets stronger by looking at people.

Ghostface can somehow inflict massive amounts of injuries that can cripple survivors by staring at them.

    Wraith can be invisible.

    Demogorgon existing.

And a Child molester that can kill people in their dreams because of demons.

    And plenty more.

I think the entire "Waking up through Technician" is the least odd of logic fails. Alot of people can wake up in real life in different ways. Reacting quickly in dreams could wake someone up. Or the shock of failing a skill check, but relief after being saved. With the "Shock" part waking you up.

  • Stopping hook progression will do nil. No, the killers don't usually care what happens to them, as long as they get a kill/be toxic as humanly possible.

What we need is a system that REWARDS not camping. Not something that punishes camping, as it's pretty clear it's not stopping them with chaser emblem not being obtained.

  • Yeah not gonna happen.

A system based on reports would just be the biggest flaw there is and the LAZIEST way to do things.

Everyone's view on the game, and how it should be played is subjective, so to people, there is always a BIG no-no in their book, where someone else would tolerate it.

Take camping for example: A lot of people hate these kinda people, but I'm one of few who don't mind it. I'll admit, I find it annoying to deal with time-to-time, but I understand that it was my fault that i got caught, so I'm not so stressed.

I don't report camping, but others will. The opinions on "Toxicity" is actually not really shared by everyone. In fact, the very definition of Toxicity is twisted in absurd ways as entitled people regard killing survivors "Toxic" (Possibly).

As a Huntress main, I think her having 115% movement speed would be too strong. She’s pretty good as she is, and needs NO changes. Pretty balanced, in my opinion.

But without any hatchets, she would technically be an M1 Killer, and we ALL know how those killers are. i suppose speed in trade for power is in hindsight a buff, but with no way to stop survivors from looping her. (Becuz no hatchets), then her usefulness is still limited.

Yeah, I can agree to her current status to being balanced, but I disagree to the fact that a 115% speed Huntress is too strong. Not saying it should be implemented, just thought about in some regard. have her max speed be at 112% with no hatchets or whatnot.

  • I don't see that happening in the future.

Interesting idea, but I think it's better off forgotten tbh.

  • Why is this in bug reports?

This is something to put in "Feedback and Suggestions" not "Bug Reports".

Bugs are where there are unintended issues with the game that is giving either side an unfair advantage by using it (Exploiting) or just a plain glitch that causes issues.

What you're asking here is literally a buff to a killer, which has to be in "Feedback and Suggestions", as it is not an unintended glitch with the game.

  • @ad19970 said:

Sounds like a good idea honestly.

But I feel like at first the devs should work on fixing the reveal of Ghost Face, as it seems to be pretty inconsistent right now.

Seems fine to me, you just need to be quicker, as the entire "Reveal behind walls" is actually no glitch, but a game mechanic. It takes 1.5 seconds to look at Ghost Face to reveal him.

While being looked at, he goes into a "Discerned" state. And there is a 0.3 timer to go from "Discerned" to "Out of Sight". It's 2 little sub-states that was never mentioned in the power, but exists in the game files.

Meaning, if Ghostface is seen for longer than 1.2 seconds, it's too late.

  • I have two questions, you can choose one to answer tho.

1: Are you considering making DBD"Cross-platform"?

2: Are you doing something to make significantly weaker killers (Like Legion, Clown, and Bubba) more viable in the form of a Rework or Buff?

  • Look lads, I get your all distressed about the adjustments made to nurse.

But in the end, it's for the well-being of the game.

We can whine ALL WE WANT until after we try out new nurse first, aye? It seems fair that we start complaining until after we have a good feel for this new nurse.

Do not judge books by their cover, it is possible that we're merely underestimating her adjustments heavily.

  • All I do really is just understand that nobody wins every single time. People always lose, and you can't avoid it sometimes.

However, I'll be annoyed and maybe distressed that one small mistake completely destroyed me.

And obviously pissed off when people are being beyond toxic. But overwhelming satisfaction can apply if I get sweet revenge on that person. And it happened once and what I would consider to be the best moment of my life as a gamer.

  • I'll be honest here.

I don't mind Hemophobia. It looks balanced. But I DO have an issue with Slow and Steady.

This perk, yes, works well with Beginners, but why does it reward the Great Skill checks more? You are essentially making this perk not just part of the meta, but part of something called "Genrushing". If they hit Great Skill checks more easily, while also be rewarded larger for it, then it causes many issues.

It's best if the perk reduces the Great skill check below it's normal value. Making it into more focused towards beginners instead of contributing to the issue that is Genrush strats.

  • Finally, someone read the bleedin' description.

    Kudos to you, brah.

  • 11 dollars?

Well, time to say goodbye to some taunts in mah Tf2 inv for sum keys to sell!

Nothin's stopping me from gettin that dlc

Freddy can literary be bent over, and molested by survivors. I've seen a David do it once by the killer shack while i was repairing a gen. A nurf is the last thing he needs.

Well yeah, he can be bent over if he doesn't put down Dream Abilities during chases. But i'm happy in general that he's viable in the first place. (And I get to see the salty noobs cry out for nerfs because that Freddy beat them in a chase while they run in a clearing with no Windows or Pallets)

  • *Laughs in Salty Survivor*

Lad, he ain't op. You just suck against him lmao.

Besides, his Dream abilities ARE limited. If your running into those Dream Snares, then lad, he WILL catch up to you. This Freddy is significantly more viable, you however just hate the fact that he was better than ya. Try doing your research next time m8.

Or, you know, play a different game for a while. Y'know, that KFC dating simulator is coming out pretty soon. It's even coming out on Steam!

... It's odd y'know? I SHOULD play another game to cool off. Oddly enough though, I still feel like playing DBD because of new chapter hype.

Ghostfaces perks most likely won't be reworked any time soon. But I do agree some of his perks need tweaking.

What I stated weren't reworks, but ok. (Shrugging intensifies)

  • I wonder what the POWER could be? Hopefully nothin' shite.

  • Crutch This, Crutch That, Crutch EVERYTHING.

Christ, it's like saying that all perks people use are Crutches. Literally, all perks are there to give you an advantage over SOMETHING, therefore, is a crutch, and therefore shouldn't exist by your logic. I may have gotten that wrong, but point being: No perk is necessarily a crutch at all.

MoM does indeed grant Endurance after being hit 3 times (Pre-Nerf at least), thing is: That's making the assumption that you're good at chases to utilize it's full effect. Even then, all it does in the end is give you an extra hit. And after that, you have to heal inside the TR, a tad close to the killer I may add to NOT get detected when you heal to healthy after using MoM.

Hex: Noed has been hated for a long time. The fact that it "Rewards Bad Play" is actually the Survivor's fault. Necessarily, as a Survivor, you're meant to not get hit in the first place. If a new killer used Noed, they would still fail, since they have to hit the survivor in the first place. If anything, if you got Exposed, and then put into Dying State immediately, it's not the killer's fault that you lost. You were the one who made yourself lost. The Perk also punishes the killer in a sense that 1: There could be better perks to use like Ruin. 2: It's a useless perk if you can't hit attacks frequently, and 3: The Killer's are not entitled to give the Survivor's a good time on their behalf. Their Objectives contradict eachother for a reason. A Killer is supposed to Kill, and a Survivor is supposed to survive.

  • This is indeed the Dumbest thing from a person I've ever read in a forum post. Christ, these people think they're being smart. "nErF RuIn bEcAuSe I sPeNt 1 HoUr LoOkInG 4 iT XD, tHiS iS eSsENt14l beCuZ It's eAsier". F### off. THIS is why I lost faith in the community actually using their heads and only using their feelings as they moan for a Nerf to a powerful perk because the game isn't getting bloody easy for that one entitled kid because they think they shouldn't play for longer than 10 minutes in a single game, and have absolutely no competition.

True Fun in game would be to OVERCOME the challenge. Not to IGNORE it. If anything, I do enjoy having to deal with tough games. Of course, if under the influence of it excessively, it WILL start getting stressful.

Maybe when you the last person alive, gate opening speeds are increased by 40/45/50?

That would most CERTAINLY help out significantly! I agree with this!

  • Not too often. Bored of doing the same thing every single game as survivor. Really wish there was another objectives than JUST generators.

That's how you know a killer needs help when even the survivors agree she's weak and feel bad for her. Especially with the amount of upvotes this page has received, it's quite clear there are issues with Plague that need addressing and the community agrees on it.

One thing for sure, I can and agree (infinitely) that Plague needs to be buffed. I dunno how, but one thing for sure, whatever BHVR did to Plague, it needs to be fixed.

However, unfortunately, the developers happen to have tunnel vision and do not know that "Balance Feedback" is not there because it was added for no reason.

  • The stupidity of survivors can never end.

I was in a match with a Hillbilly, I got downed then hooked. (Because I am bad at survivor... Or at least, in chases.) And I saw EVERY. LAST. SURVIVOR nearby me, ready to unhook me... Or farm me. I was so disgusted and disappointed I killed myself on the hook. This was the first time where I did not want to be saved due to teammates being victims of terminal stupidity.

  • There are so many comments on this! Holy crap! I've never seen so bloody many comments on somebodies' post just to ask to have Plague get "love and attention"!

  • This dude can't word the problems of the game any better. I think the Mods should consider to look at our suggestions to change the game a little, so that it'll speed up the process of buffing/nerfing killers/perks. While also improving the game itself via map changes/reworks, create better killers that are actually viable, and add new mechanics to keep us immersed. This game has so much missing potential, and I think the answer lies with the communities' opinions/ideas.

Thank you for reading this, just shoving my opinion inside here.

So it's Mama but instead of a vengeful ghost, it's a big Russian woman.

    *Soviet Naitional Anthem intesifies*

  • This may be the biggest way that BHVR failed hard to make a killer that's actually Viable, and even misunderstanding what "Stealth" means. Dammit BHVR, If you're going to make a stealth killer, make it so that they're ACTUALLY freakin' stealthy instead of deleting the meaning of "Stealth" from the game twice over.

Also, is it odd that most (not all) of Liscensed characters are all Bad? But their own OC-Kind of Chapters/Paragraphs are Actually balanced and viable?... Most of the time?

Going back on my word, if they don't fix it I ain't buying

    Ditto.

  • There is a difference between losing connection to the server because you're internet is [Curse]. And people Ragequitting. It's a little obvious between the two, but sometimes... It's just... Not.

  • Doesn't look like it. However, I'm glad I bought his DLC for the hopes he gets reworked. And looks like my hunch was right. I love Freddy as a Slasher in general. I do enjoy killer's making some jokes as they eliminate people, I'm not a particular fan of the Remastered version of Freddy, but hey, A Freddy is a Freddy.

  • It's certainly interesting. It does seem to also make it harder for Survivor's, and could prevent genrushing (slightly). However, the guy above me words it best. The Killer should not rely on Survivor's making severe mistakes. It's a somewhat nice idea, but there are too many factors that make it a bad idea to add to the game.

  • Says Ghost Face is a true stealth killer.

Is as loud as Hillbilly's chainsaw and is defeated by being looked at.

Is Myers a doggone joke now?

  • I would have loved to see Sidney Prescott get released with Ghost Face. I wonder why they didn't do that though...

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/67832/what-dbd-killer-should-get-their-own-slasher-film-series

I'd say Legion because I like them but I already know that movie would probably be ######### lol unless they did it like "You're next" maybe, I'd say Huntress or Hag.

Legion seems more or less a "Ghost Face" kinda Slasher killer. Multiple people under the "same" mask, except with different clothing. But their motives to kill seem similar, except the Legion are also Teens and... Well, what do you think any High School teen in a movie do? It's become cliche' speaking of which. The entire "High School Teens being extremely dumb and ignorant." When really it's the opposite IRL usually... Anyway, I'm getting off-track, I'd say Clown, since he runs a Carnival, which is a massive trap, and I'd definitely want to watch Kate try to escape the Gassy Boii.

  • @Dathro said:

Regarding your 3 problems with my post:

    1) it does not matter whether the slow occurs during his bottle throw or after. It clearly occurs every time he uses his Power.

    2) I didn't imply the goal is to get the Survivor to stand in the gas, but the longer they're in it, the longer they're slowed, and if you can get them to run through an entire cloud instead of just touching it, that stacks with slower vault speed to create one of the only conditions by which his Power has any use whatsoever.

    3) My entire post explained why getting hit by gas doesn't give Clown a hit and why Survs do not need to respect it unless certain addons are used.

    1. A single second of being slowed down isn't much compared to 2 seconds of being slowed down. I'll admit, when the Survivor got slowed down by the gas, I wasn't able to hit them due to me being unable to catch up. But not every single time. It happened around 20% of the time. The rest of the time would be where I actually forced the survivor into the Gas, and got a free hit.
    2. 2 Seconds can make a large difference, and you'd be surprised upon how 85% movement speed for 2 seconds can close a gap. I've also forgotten to include the fact that the Clown isn't supposed to hit the Survivor directly, only set it down and herd them into it. Again: Which is useful on loops.
    3. In some cases: Again, yes, not ALL times when Survivors are hit by gas, Clown is unable to catch up to hit them. However, it still closes the distance, and may potentially force the survivor to break the loop, or risk taking a hit.

I'm gonna be honest here, I'm not very good at defending my points in general. Mostly due to me failing to know what you're saying half the time. But I can assure you: Clown is NOT the worst killer, nor is he weak. He has downsides to even out his power, and is NOT a mini-huntress. Ask anyone else, they'll likely agree.

  • Most players don't seem to understand how Clown's Power actually works. The short answer is, it doesn't.

Laddie, Clown ISN'T the worst killer in the game. If anything, he's A-tier in my book. The worst killer (As of right now), is Freddy. There are a few issues as to what your saying.

    1. Clown ONLY gets slowed down for a second AFTER throwing the bottle. Not during, or before.
    2. You're not trying to force the Survivor to stay in the gas, only to force them to get into it the first place, since the hindered effect is still applied 2 seconds after leaving the cloud, long enough to close the distance significantly or land a hit on the survivor. Either way, if the Survivor is hit with the gas, it's a potentially free hit for Clown.
    3. Survivors DON'T avoid the gas because they're respecting the [Bad Word] out of it. They avoid it because they know that if they run into the gas, they'll get slowed down, therefore, giving the Clown a free hit. Which is why Clown is good at shutting down loops.

I've played Clown so much. So much to the point where I feel I main him. The Clown is a strong killer, a great one, a fun one. The Clown (to me) is the makings of a good killer. Fun to play, and has a place in the competitive ranks, (Which I don't plan on reaching.) The fact that you think that the Clown is weak is suggesting you're not playing him correctly, or you don't quite understand how his power actually works.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/508580#Comment_508580

Sorry, it is just dumb to leave the Basement with 3 Survivors hooked in there when all Gens are powered.

You simply played wrong. If you would have played correct, you would have gotten 3 or even 4 Kills.

Camping when Exit Gates are powered is a valid strategy and tbh there is nothing else a Killer can do at this point.

What he said. I camp when the gates are powered. If they get toxic, [Curse] them. It's not my fault you didn't hide correctly when all gens are powered. Seriously, I cannot agree with this guy's statement any more than I already do. Well said @Aven_Fallen.

  • We're just now getting survivors moaning that Ruin get nerfed? Christ, they always pick later, not sooner.

  • I support this 100%. Gen teleport is there to suppress the survivors, to apply max pressure. Not to catch survivors red-handed. The fact that you're thinking of teleporting or not is powerful enough. I do not disagree with this new rework, it actually makes freddy feel like he has control over the dream world! Like, maximum control!

  • I do agree with all this, however, there are 2 killers I have an issue with.

Doctor: The effects of Shock therapy DO happen immediately, either your timing is incorrect, or one of you (or both) could be suffering from lag. No offense, but you miiiight need to work on your timing.

Clown: The Clown's bottles are meant to be "Fire and Forget", not a Worse Huntress. He doesn't need a Buff, nor does he need a Nerf. He's good where he is. The goal with the bottles is to NOT hit the survivor with the bottle, you just need to get them into the gas.

  • Even if you manage to kill obsession, just one DS trigger make dying light useless again What's the point for this perk again?

Once you think about it, if you got D-Striked, you can just catch up to them and hook them again. If anything, all it does is change your target. However, Dying Light wasn't wonderful to begin with.

  • @DemonDaddy said:

Camping is a tactic that's is easy enough to deal with in most cases. It just a matter of teamwork and whether perks choices are made for the team or personal benefit. If your going solo then I suggest more stealth, treat every killer as a camper and 1st hook as the only one you get. It will promote better play choices and you wont worry about campers since you will outlive most teammates.

Also, to add on this, you could use Sole Survivor, to get the full benefit of it if you're going to be outliving the other survivors.

  • Err... Um (21)... I don't think so....

  • Noobs vs. Tier 1 Myers in a nutshell

  • Ooooooooo.... Loving them dude! Nice work! Can't wait for the other icon changes!

  • I agree with this list. Noice.

  • Pediophobia: Really? It's basically Territorial Imperative, but worse.

Toy Box: And the killer would need to know the nearest chest because... Why? Why the #### would the killer care about chests?

Broken Toy: It makes sense, I'll give you that, but you need to be more specific for how long.

Sleight Of Hand: Not a bad idea, but if a perk exactly like this gets released, we're going to see a new meta. You should probably rework this.

Now You See Me: Head-on but worse. If you can only use it one time in the entire game with an underwhelming effect, you know it's going to be the worst perk in the game.

A Magician’s Secret: Way too darn op. It's better that you can see it within a certain distance.

The biggest problem with all these perks? None of them have differences for rarities. Like (30/40/50 Secs) or whatnot. I understand making perks takes a while, but you seriously failed at this HARD. For the love of god, learn how to actually make perks without ripping off other Perks in the game but making them worse.
