I mean, it doesn't take long if the survivors are stupid
In other words, it rarely takes too long.

I do not really keep track, but I do get a lot for whatever reason. Before first hook. Little rats deny me my Barbecue stacks. Disgusting.

I don't understand why but this kinda sucks.
It is better around midnight, Eastern time. These day time queues? I ain't want no smoke, cuh. Survivor in the day, killer by night. This is the lifestyle we must abide by if we vaguely care about our free time.
-
Huh? The game is unplayable because your friends are new? I get it, but if anything, mmr was specifically made to help those homies out. The old system was worse.

Killers can be blinded from pretty close to 90° angles WITHOUT using Shadowborn. So yes, they work from dramatically bigger angles than the Killer's FOV.
Huh? My survivor vision cannot be failing me, but that clip clealry has the flashlight directly in his eyes. Maybe he should try facing a wall?
-
@Bedwyr said:
Just pick up survivors facing a wall and they can't do nothing with the flashlight... Lightborn is for rank 20 players...
And what would you do if there is no wall around, Mr. Rank 19 killer?
-
No use playing a killer you do not want to play, seriously, what is the point? Life is too short to play a lame killer when there are so many... not lame killers.
-
Lightborn is the answer, if you see even one of those rats bring a flashlight, you put on Lighrborn. It will get more value than any lame perk you were planning on bringing. Even if you are a meta slave, run Ruin, Undying, Pop and Lightborn. If you choose not to, you deserve to get your retinas burned... from inside your ears...

@Huge_Bush said:
High risk, high reward. They shouldn't have gotten butt hurt over it. No better than survivors who dc over getting downed first. Big babies.
How the hell do you run Hex perks and NOT get used to them getting cleansed 15 seconds in? That is the biggest shock to me, not how large of a bebe they are... But how they went that long without knowing the pain, not knowing whether it is worth Undying and compromise your whole build to add like another minute or two of life to your totem.
-
I play late at night and the queues have more or less returned to normal. I try not to play during the day as I left Overwatch BECAUSE of the queues. I am never going back to that horror. You think it is fine at first, you justify it with books, netflix, youtube, coming to the forums... But it wears you down. You have a lot of time to think about how you are literally doing nothing for 15 minutes just to play a game for a few minutes.
-
Run Decisive if you are getting tunneled a lot, probably better to run that than spine chill AFTER you run into stealth killers. Rofl. Ignore my icon. I would never lead you astray.
If anything, I feel bad for you. You spend only 30% of your time playing killer and when you do... You play Trapper and Legion? You poor soul.

for all of u pig mains
i was thinking is kinda annoying to not being able to kill the survivor very consistently with the traps
on chases & hooks the trap deactivates turns off by itself (?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿)
so is not likely ur gonna be able to kill them with it a lot
why dont u crouch and follow them till the trap kills them????
otherwise is it viable to try to kill them with the traps????
if u follow crouch them it doesnt count as chase i think and the trap is still on
so cringe that the trap turns off in chases & dying state
i think it makes it almost useless
That is what I started doing with her (she sucks and there is no reason to play her whatsoever, so this is how I justify my purchase of her... and the drill). I get my BBQ stacks, and then stalk whoever still has a trap, usually the last person hooked for obvious reasons. If they attempt to take their trap off, I down them, carry them away from the boxes as best I can, and continue.
In the spirit of Saw, this is the idea, they are free to go if their team can finish the gens in time. That is the test. I played today and the Nancy's team successfully finished the gens, but she was so demoralized and just awkwardly started circling a hook before her head popped. I guess she didn't listen to the tape. Game over.

I do not know, man. I am just not vibing with the ranged killers too much since mmr. The survivors just feel too easy to hit at low mmr and against better survivors, they know the counterplay which almost invalidates your power unless they mess up. I really feel like mixed lobbies were key in enjoying them.
Pyramid Head is kind of a weird exception because I used to think he was really bad because of how slow his projectile was. But ever since mmr, I can land it super consistently. So he went from my least played to among my most played. All my ranged killer time goes into him now, basically.

Campers actually rank up faster since rank is determined by kills.
Oh, yes, definitely. I was more talking about those people who face camp the first person they catch and refuse to leave. Proper camping is very strong.
-
1 million was the best amount I ever had, damn I wish I had 1 million bloodpoints right now.

Tunnelers are trying to win. Face campers are trying to derank. Ez.

Jill definitely needed an RE1 costume. The chapter was ruined from that point onward. No fixing it. Nope.

What can I say, it is a talent unrivaled by others.

I have no idea man, it is REALLY blatant to the point where the answer should be obvious... But it ain't
Luckily I play at night. So as a killer G, I am happy about this.

I think pinhead is a pretty fun killer to play. There are still some annoying bugs though, like the messed up lunge attack.
They will release a survivor soon, does it matter if you buy it in two cheaper or one more expensive DLC?
The survivor will probably be original, though, correct? You do not even need to buy that. Shards, baby.
-
I mean, they either broke on the environment or you were really far. It is basically a free hit under normal circumstances.
-
Hex: Plaything has quickly become one of my favorite perks in the game. I am running it on a lot of killers already.
-
I make them boop it if they want to live. I make them. They don't really have a choice unless they love the taste of asphalt.
-
So... did you enjoy the ban?

True but If you are consistantly able to escape quickly or run long chases I'd say that makes you a higher skilled player no?
Of course, I just do not believe it would be a healthy system if it were ever discovered. And given where we are at now, like.. I have never seen an mmr system datamined to be honest.
-
The problem with escaping chase and all that is that you can escape by dropping a God pallet, or by the killer just dropping chase. Especially common with obsession related perks. Or just by running towards house of pain, most killers will instantly drop unless they are doing something weird like hunting for BBQ stacks. Heck, just using an exhaustion optimally will result in an escape.
And that is VERY likely the reason they do not consider it. It would be the easiest thing in the world to inflate. Same with the opposite, you just use every resource and purposely not break chase.
-
Nemesis might be good with the old enduring, brutal, spirit fury treatment.
Well, not really, because you wouldn't even need to see them highlighted. Rofl.

Ye no you have to imagine the chat went like that "He started with: RUIN UNDYING OMG" - "Me: Well you also use meta perks?" - "He: But you also use ruin undying" - "me: Just as you use dead hard, d strike etc" and so on and so on. I wasnt complaining or something I was just pointing out that just as I use meta perks he also uses them xD
Not going to lie, the responses to your post scare me more than the salty survivors. At least they have the excuse of the match just happening and access to a chat to express their fee fees.
The people here are just purposely misconstruing the post. And THAT is giving them the benefit of the doubt. Lol. People are strange.

I know it is just a coincidence, but is it? I think not!

Just tonight? I am jealous of you.

What you gonna do homeboy?

If they wanted to buff Franklin's, the item would be deleted. As of now, it is basically just a troll perk. I guess Pinhead can make use of it, at least. Same cannot be said of every perk, or half of them, or 90% of them.
-
Survivor mains don't think their perks are meta. It is the only explanation. Something in their water, fam. And that something is allergic to BBQ. I will never understand why a BP grind perk insults them so.
-
Impossibiru! How can a pallet change effect lockers? This defies all scientific reasoning. Do you... Think pallets were once stored in lockers and that gives them the same powers of the entity?
-
They should make a perk called cyanide where the survivor can pop it on the ground after 1 minute of torment. Behavior loves fixing fundamental game design problems with perks, so I think his idea is very realistic. Simply manifold Olivia.

Kindred, good choice.
Camaraderie, in my experience, just leads to getting face-camped for 34 more seconds
This is true, if I am committed to staring at you, there is no stopping me... Except for survivors unhooking right in front of me, I guess. But that is beside the point, it usually takes the survivors a few minutes to figure out that counterplay, so I get my time in.
-
"Kept" getting stuck? As in, you were hiding in bushes, got stuck stepbro, and then got out again, and then also got stuck on rocks? And then it happened again?
The struggles of an immersed gamer...
-
I love the Saloon as survivor, and Hawkins. Midwich is alright. I have trouble finding the gens, still. Rpd is a lot of fun as survivor as well as Lery's. I just like indoor and small maps generally.
As killer, I do not mind Coldwind or Ormond. Heck, even Haddonfield is not awful... against mediocre survivors.

It's usually the distinction wherever I go. I mean, if someone opens a porn thread, for instance, are you going to lock the thread, keeping the content around, or are you going to delete it, and eliminate the problem?
Well, yeah, that is kind of what I meant. You delete stuff that needs to be deleted. Discussion about an mmr system is not the same as explicit imagery or excessive profanity. If someone was literally posting the source code or something, makes sense. Someone creates a thread to do what we are doing right now, why does that justify a delete whereas ours justifies a lock? I am not personally seeing the logic. But if the hard rule is delete threads where the OP kicks it off and lock threads were people violate da rulez... So be it, I guess.

We can assume it is working on the ELO system as all the other games. We don't need leaks for it.
When 100% of the ranked systems in the video game industry are working with the ELO system, why would DbD be any different ?
Is that not the problem? It kind of suggests the opposite.

Threads are locked if the rule-breaking is going on inside the thread. They get deleted if the rule-breaking is the thread. That's standard procedure (and logical), from what I've observed.
In that case, my bad, I am still relatively new. The distinction has never been relevant anywhere else I have ever been.

So what if you get downed first early in the match and because you don’t like the killer you can just ######### right there? Survivors would abuse that hard.
What? No. I have lots of faith in the survivor community, they would never!
-
@GannTM said:
I’ll be fine with this as long as it certain conditions are met, like if you’ve been on the ground for at least 2 consecutive minutes. Although I’m not sure how this will work lore wise.
Why not just let the man end his suffering? You can already do it on hook. What is the difference?

@Orion said:

Yes, you're right. There's really only one reason. That reason being that the rules explicitly forbid discussing leaks (real or not).
You could lock leak threads, as they generally do regarding any threads against the rules. You need to address that point to merit sarcasm after pulling the "everything is a conspiracy, data mined info is fake, the WHOLE WORLD IS CRAZY... Except for me, I have le critical thinking skills, uwu."
-
Same, only I am decent enough to avoid getting hit after a pallet stun because I am not greedy.

@Orion said:
It makes no difference what BHVR says or does, because the people who keep making those threads will just use it as "proof" that they're right.
Just like I said in a thread that was deleted:
- If it gets deleted, it's because the conspiracy is true and "they" (every conspiracy theory has a faceless "they") are trying to hide it.
- If it gets ignored (or, more likely, not noticed), it's true because otherwise "they" would deny it. This is a very common way to try to get a reaction of of "them", after which, if successful, the people move on to the above point.
- If "they" deny it, "they" are obviously lying and the conspiracy is true.
There's no winning here, because everything just feeds into the conspiracy. What would be the point in BHVR lifting a finger (beyond enforcing the rules)?

I mean, outright deleting discussion is sus, you do not need to be Sherlock Holmes to commit to less mental gymnastics. There is only one plausible explanation as to why they would outright delete as opposed to lock a thread fam. Get your thinking cap on, homie.
