The old Lery and Crotus Prenn were sick looking. But I couldn't stomach old Coldwind or Autohaven. Really glad those smoggy maps got visual upgrades.
-
Maybe I would have time to get my BBQ stack before the newborn accidentally clicks leave. I like it.
-
I have the best of both worlds. If I want to chill , I have plenty of low mmr killers. If I want a challenge, I can pick Freddy. So yeah, I kind of like that.

I prefer map voting. Offerings are kind of outdated. I mean, they were really never great design, if you ask me.

It would be interesting, I usually do not care about those, but I love horror art.
-
That is why I am not allowed to have fun? It is forbidden?

Not to sound entitled, but the Ghostface reveal mechanic is just bad in general. Stretched resolution is like the cherry on top, but really, I do not think it hurts him any more than any other killer. It technically does, but does it REALLY though? You just learn to deal with getting your power stripped at a glance. If anything, the vision you get from one of those clowns helps you find them whereas one of their bigger advantages would be avoidance.

Are you sure you only got disconnected 2 times and the first penalty is a 24 hour ban? That sounds highly suspicious.. you didn’t get a penalty from the first disconnect?
it should start at 5 min, after a few times in a short time it goes up to 15 min. To get a 24 hour ban you have to dc pretty often. At that point, if it is your connection, make sure it’s stable before playing.
The 15 minutes is after a second disconnect. Was watching someone who quit 2 hacker lobbies and that was the penalty.

Make her crouch speed faster, not instant like GF but at least twice as fast as she has now.
Also smaller terror radius makes perfect sense.
Dunno about traps, they can be really good or really bad, too much RNG and maps reliant
That would be ideal. She deserves a better teabag and the old terror radius should have never been nerfed. Those two changes and I would stop squealing like a stuck pig.
-
The skins could have the removed voiceline, and Pinhead could keep his. That would make even more sense!
Besides, Chatterer already has a unique line and we ain't getting no female Cenobite. Too risqué.

Finally the counterplay I have been looking for. Just need to dust off my old switch of lag! /s
But yeah, I haven't seen lag switching since old school CoD. It brings me back.

A little detail nemesis when tier 2 and they are infected.
Even his pallet destruction makes loops a lot weaker. He is amazing anti loop. If they aren't infected, you get a bit of slowdown when they go to vaccinate and vision to pursue them again at a weaker area of the map, potentially.
Or just a zombie blocking a path. That is pretty strong anti loop.

Perhaps you just notice more toxic survivors than toxic killers due to confirmation bias. I've seen plenty of both.
I mean... It probably has more to do with the 4 survivors, 1 killer thing. I see plenty of BM survivors as killer, can't really see a BM killer when I am the killer. As a survivor? Still run into those clowns. They still send me angry messages.
Like, I notice if a killer hits me on hook or something, right? I can't exactly look anywhere else. Kind of stuck. Confirmation bias isn't clouding my vision. Rofl.
Now maybe I have a bias because I do not even know what a killer can do to be toxic besides hit me on hook. Clown can toss bottles at slugs, I guess? Barely ever play against him. To be fair, last time I did he treated me fine and when he killed me, I went to spectate and he was bleeding these two Steve to death. Kind of weird he didn't treat me funky, and then he goes full toxic on these 2. I suspect they probably did something to deserve it? But what do I know.
That could be another factor, usually I leave once I am dead. But if I am curious about perks, I stick around and see a lot more toxicity that I otherwise would. Someone else said it earlier, there just isn't time to be toxic during the match. During the end though? I guess that is where they let it all out. But that isn't confirmation bias on anyone's part so much as they literally weren't witness to the behavior.

At this point they're gonna do anti blinking challenges for nurse and anti shooting challenges for deathslinger. That's basically what the huntress one is.
The Huntress get 10 basic attacks without hatchets equipped was pretty easy. Didn't even need the full game to do it and I realized 3 hits in that I forgot to empty my hatchets. The get 6 undetectable hits with beast of prey? That was annoying.
I know most people could run like some crazy Ghostface tinkerer/trail of torment nonsense and get it really easily. But Huntress is the only one with that perk unlocked for me. Keeping bloodlust while they drop pallets because you are a slow m1 killer was... Moderately difficult. Needless to say they all escaped because I needed to wait 15 seconds minimum before swinging. Literally had to throw the game for that one.

Ah yes, malformed dogs and fanged corpses, the very definition of sexual attraction.
Some of us aren't that desperate, and just wanna see our favorite monsters appear in the game.
You are implying that I am a necrophiliac because I want a vampire to bite me sensually? Why I never!
-
I am usually the type to take personal responsibility. I play a lot of competitive games with fgc roots. But yeah, I find myself just blaming the game for a lot of shenanigans. Even when they benefit me, I can't help but shake my head.
I had a 3 gen on mothers dwelling where the gens were chainsaw dash distance. The Bubba kind. One charge. And after that, the hatch spawned right near the person I hooked to death. And then both exit gates were on the same side and I could see both from... you guessed it, chainsaw dash distance. Probably 2.5 charges, to be "fair."
Like, how could I possibly lose? I could have beaten Oracle with that absurd rng. It was so obscenely rigged in my favor.

Sorry it's just that everyone and their grandmother seems to portray it as impossible to hit through pallets and bhvr hates killers blah blah blah we've heard it all before, when in reality it really isn't??
"camping the pallet guarantees you a stun" is one I've heard quite often and it literally doesn't??
Yeah, I have even landed hatches despite hit validation. Got myself a clean rage quit after that.
Normally when they leave, I am like, "wow, what a joker!" That time though, I completely understood. Ha ha ha.

They have the only active game on PC and console in this genre. They don't need to worry about balance and so on.
Exactly, and they will not need to for a long time because all the reject "dbd killers" are not on console. It reminds me so much of Overwatch. All these weird hero shooters that never went anywhere because the PC player base is not large enough to warrant cutting out the real cashola.

I m playing EU servers i m Survivor main.
My experience? I m playing only against sweaty Blights and Nurses, sometimes Spirits.
This weekend it was terrible. Sunday aftrnoon i stopped to play DBD even i would like to play tho, but at all it was boring, always same killers. So i decided to play in night. It was midnight when i turned on DBD. I had 4 games: 2 blights and 2 nurses. So I tuned off DBD.
Yeah, playing at night just reduces the queues. It will not make the game quality any better. I wish!

The pallet rollback gives survivors the best of both worlds. They can be greedy and go around the loop 1 more time which usually results in them getting hit, but also drop the pallet safely without taking damage and getting the stun. And that translates to killers getting the worst of both worlds.
It was already bad for killer because there's constant moments where you're all the way through the pallet, which you would think blocks the survivor from dropping it on you, but no, the game gives it to them and warps you back into the stun animation.
I played DBD back in the day, after the pallet vacuum was removed but before they fixed the ridiculous hits at windows, and that's when I actually saw myself hitting survivors through pallet drops and window vaults. But hear it from survivors today, and they'll make it sound as if it's as bad now as it was back then, when it's clearly not.
Survivors making basic decisions like distance or stun would just complicate the role far too much. They already have enough on their plate needing to do 5 gens when there are only 4 of them. Who the heck is supposed to do the last gen? Casper the friendly ghost?
-
His default design is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. And even though he is one of the most fun killers... I just can't stomach him.
-
It is not a console issue... Pinhead just sucks.
-
They watched too much Tom and Jerry they started emulating that little rat.
-
Most of the games are MUCH better, but I can sympathize with high ranked killers. My Freddy is higher mmr and lawd almighty I have to literally sweat to kill more than 2. Literally.
I tried so hard, and got so far; but in the end, it doesn't even matter!
-
She definitely has one of the most outdated designs. Trapper is the only one that is worse, in my opinion.

Sorry, she takes the skill of buying a headset
Eh, I have a headset and still find her really hard to play. It is not some $300 dollar headset or anything, but it works fine for everything else. I am just not able to triangulate their exact position based on the sound of their breathing... Rofl. I would just rather play Wraith for more or less the same effect. I will never be able to just stand there and have a survivor try to walk into me, but that is a risk I am willing to take.
-
We did not start at the same mmr. They have been collecting data precisely so they didn't have to do that. I still more or less agree, if it is still super lopsided by a month, it probably isn't going to tighten up much more.
-
Before mmr, teams would rarely use alarm clocks. But now that he is high mmr, I have multiple people who I can't put into the dream state and know how to play around dream snares. Lol.
Not going to lie, I thought he was really strong because the survivors I went up against were so bad. But now I finally understand why people rate him the way they do.
Not saying that he feels bad... But, well, he doesn't feel as good as he once did. I find myself not really wanting to queue up for him just to face competent survivors. He used to be my favorite and the reason I got addicted to ruin surveillance. I do not even have time to teleport to gens anymore.

Does survivor Dailey refer to the daily challenges that you can have up to 3 of? Cause I haven't seen a survivor one in a long time it's all play Twins Blight or some other killer 9 dont enjoy
You get 300 bonus experience for your first game as killer and survivor. So I assume he is just playing one game of survivor and dipping.
But you can reset those daily missions too. Just log out after you use the daily reset if it is still a challenge you do not want to do. You can keep doing that until you get one you want to do.

Surely killer queues would be short if there was a lack of killer players right?
My queues are extremely short when I play at the right time. It is just that during the day, survivor is instant. But the reverse is true, during the night, survivor queues are unbearable.
I have no idea why, I genuinely do not. But I do not think the playerbase is lacking in a role so much as you have weirdos who main a role maining a time to play as well.

Nah, the worst feeling is when some loser steals my altruism points. I will farm you off hook, boy.

Borrowed is the only one I will bring when playing with other people. Otherwise I run Slippery.

Apparently you just need to hold W and pre-drop pallets.
jokes aside, watch what the killer is doing and react accordingly. If you don’t already, get yourself experience as killer as well instead of only playing survivor. Seeing and actually experiencing the gameplay from the other side is very helpful and you will better understand the mechanics and what works/what doesn’t work.
Nah, with hit validation you actually want to camp pallets now.
-
Yes, all of the killers would drop ruin, bbq, and pop for whispers if it worked as it should logically work. 100%. Getting confirmation on whether some predictable as hell survivors are going to camp a hook is vital, and game changing information.

Lol... They move, trust me. They have borrowed, decisive, and dead hard like 90% of the time. The amount of time it takes to kill them is almost not worth it. Almost. But once I get hit with Dstrike, there is no turning back.

Yeah, but there is really no fun in that. My biggest concern here, tho, is the unbalance in matchmaking now. Constantly seeing killers/survivors with 80 hours going against the opposite with 9,000 hours. Theres no way their sbmm is as balanced as its claimed to be
What is the difference? You just don't hang them up for the third time in a row. How does that magically make the game less fun?

Nothing fair about tunneling and camping at least not for person on receiving end I'll rather play the game and lose than play starring contest because I failed at my skills against survivor who's more skilled than me it's not playing good Samaritan it's playing game properly for ur own fun and if u do find fun in basically not moving and starring at them than ur fun opinion is really strange let me ask do u prioritize win or fun?
How is the survivor that you caught 3 times in a row more skilled than you? Rofl. I didn't "fail my skills against survivor who's more skilled than me" if they are dead, bro. Especially with all their teammates trying to stop it from happening. I outplayed that person gg ez. Their team is who "wrecked" me by playing qte simulator fast. A subtle, yet distinct difference.
-
I dislike Decisive, but unless they healed themselves, I fail to see why it should disable itself.
-
Honestly, with how many hackers are at high mmr, I feel the penalty has overstayed its welcome. They just need to give every other survivor the 5k BP as though they escaped and be done with it.
-
I wish maps were more random. I would love it if killer had a 40% choice of which map gets selected, and survivors had a 10% chance (collective 40%). With the last 20% being "random."
I get so sick of going to MacMillan and Autohaven 24/7 and then getting offering after offering of those two maps. Better than Badham, I guess... But I like variety.

My all time best salt moment came from when I had been playing for a month and a half, back in early 2017, and had roughly 100 hours in the game. Had I believe an 8 hook 0 kill game as Nurse, was in mid purple ranks and had gone against a full red rank team. It had been a good game, I’d made some noob mistakes but had some great blinks too, I felt good about my performance.
One guy was livid. He accused me of hacking my profile to lessen my hours, because a 100 hour noob couldn’t have 4 fully leveled perks on Nurse, all good at that (Stridor, NC, Agi, IG because this was the age of perma sabo hooks) and I was “too good.” I comment I enjoy precision based gameplay and picked up Nurse recently, though I knew I wasn’t a master. He then both continues on the line that I was too good for my hours, but also throws in if I was that good I wouldn’t have fallen for easy jukes (contradicting himself).
I explain I’ve played for a “season and a half” (month and a half, I wasn’t sure how to call rank reset periods) and this was a mistake because he claims that’s not possible with my hours. Me having a full time job and playing other games too isn’t acceptable, and he’s still insisting I hacked my profile to hide my true hours. He finally gives up and says “goodbye you dirty save file cheater.”
Was honestly a pretty nice ego boost all things considered - I was still new to the game so the fact the guy thought I was hiding my hours was genuinely a feel good moment for me. Never had salt that feel good again.
I had something similar where someone was mad that I killed him, but also said I sucked because I didn't 4k. I told him I was new and had only been playing for less than a week. He didn't believe me because I was rank 13 and new players couldn't get that high, apparently. And the person who got away was rank 1. I was so confused. He was red rank too. So I thought that was why he was being rude, but he was low-key complimenting me.

True that. They also got rid of bullshit pallet hits, despite ThiccBuddha's kill rates, or lack thereof.
I'd say that the best expectation is to expect the unexpected.
Are you talking about hit validation? That was before mmr.
I agree there, some of these game developers can only be described as "arbitrary." So who knows what changes they will cook up, realistically. The only constant is that it will piss people off.

You clearly have not read the post :/ My point was not to cry about toxicity, it was just to point hypocrisy on many players crying about playing against a lot of meta builds but the moment they are not matched against one they will go out of their way to discourage it by acting like scumbags. I keep playing those builds anyways because i find them fun but i understand that not everyone has the same tolerance towards toxicity so it kinda discourages it.
I read it, I am just ahead of you a bit, you see... You actually use the word, but I am not sure you understand what it means given your response. You might want to look up what hypocrisy is as it addresses your point better than I ever could.
