The Trapper daily sends shivers down my spine. I would rather just get a quick and easy daily out of the way and then play him to my heart's content.
-
They tried to remove it, but Dead Hard just used Dead Hard to get to a pallet and stunned the developers. Legend has it, Dead Hard is still looping the balance team to this day.

I'm pretty sure there was a bug with his scratchmarks not appearing when you cancel fatigue (or something with aura's during fatigure maybe) and everyone kinda just assumed it was an intended feature and it got brought up once and one of the Devs popped in and said "Yeah, no, that isn't working right" and I still find it hilarious that people assume debilitating bugs are intended features on Legion.
Just on Legion? I am relatively new here and as far as I can tell, all kinds of significant bugs are perceived as intended features. Lol.

Are you trying to make new survivors also 15€ ? Dont give them ideas please
An extra 5 dollars per boon perk. This is how they will be balanced. Pog.

Even since the nerf? Literally count to 12 (assuming it’s tier 3). Lots of situations 12 seconds isn’t nearly enough to get somewhere safe. Yes it can still make or break it for some saves but I almost never use it after the change. Practically a waste of a perk slot.
Waste of a perk slot? Oh lawd almighty. And people wonder why Behavior balances the way they do.

Cause no one cares about Legion.
They still crank out those Legion skins, though. Somebody is buying them.

I am surprised they havent already added a ban system for survivor mains. It is a miracle they never came up with the idea themselves.
-
Meg just got an outfit though, and Dwight/Jake were featured in this tome. Claudette wasn't even that long, actually did she just get one too? I do not remember, but she had the dog one regardless. I think she might have gotten a dress, though.
The issue with Bill is that he is licensed, they mistreat all of those cats. It took THIS long to get the iconic Leatherface skin.
-
I feel like you aren't wrong, Furtive Chase is bad. But the rework idea seems just as niche. As for the other perks, I feel like cooldowns hold those perks back. Thrilling should just activate once per down, and that is its "cooldown" whereas All Ears just shouldn't have one, period. They could reduce the range to compensate. The only way I would use those perks, anyways.
As for Ghostmane himself, I would just take the hooked survivors no longer revealing. That would be more than enough, in my opinion.
-
As a Bubba main, I have no clue because I do not run add ons. But I like your mask. Naisu.

Nerfing Ghostface? What are they doing to him?
It is just one second longer for recovery when you run double recovery add ons. Technically they buffed his base recovery by 6 seconds for me, as an add-on-less killer.

Am I the only one that doesn't give a ######### about MMR, as long as I can have fun? Like, why should I use my brain when I can throw pebbles at the killer?
And why should I try to get a 4k when I can stand still and miss my Huntress snipes :)
Someone just thanked me for a meme game because I was running spirit fury and enduring on Huntress. Little did they know, I wasn't memeing. Those were my best Huntress perks. Lol. I want iron maiden and lethal so badly.
-
Probably for the same reason they are nerfing Deathslinger and Ghostface. I have no idea what the reason is, but it is the same backwards logic.
-
Huntress was the one OG killer that really stood out to me.
The survivor lore is a bit more consistent overall, but nobody specifically stood above the rest, if you ask me. Which you did, technically.
-
I probably would prefer it, yes. But I do not really care too much one way or the other.

If it is just one, tunnel and facecamp the sabo clown out of the game. If it is a squad, you will probably win regardless of what you do. Rofl.

You can't change the heart of some people. Even if you were to add new game modes you would still have those bad people playing the new game modes. I have to say in the past 2 to 5 years there has been just in increase in players turning online games into sweat fest now. A lot of players take any online games in general too seriously now a days. Everyone that is playing online seems to wanna win whatever game now a days at all cost, some even are playing as if they are going to win a million dollars.
I would still face camp in this mode even if it made me lose, yes. Not for one million dollars, but just to prove the doubters wrong.

My favorite thing is all the licensed killers. I get to play my favorite video game character from Call of Duty and Mortal Kombat.
My least favorite thing is that they aren't more killers from my favorite childhood movies like Friday the 13th and Alien.

Are you calling me a loser with your emoji? I would have rather you flipped me off because that L symbol reminds me of all those twerking survivors at the exit gate. Thanks for that, pal. Now I will just go cry myself go sleep.

I bet even I could run this tile without getting downed in 10 seconds.

Being able to fly and throw hatchets as ghostface is also frowned upon, technically reportable even, but reporting relies on a bizarre system where you need to report in multiple places, fill in everyone's steam IDs even if the players aren't on steam and upload video evidence where the video usually fails to upload. So a survivor would have to be extremely annoyed you didn't play and also have several hours of time to spare.
Personally I'd play it but I wish they'd just rework this stupid map already. Or at the least remove map offerings.
Several hours? Wouldn't you just record the clip and send it to Behavior? You could do that while in the game that you are annoyed at. Lol.

This Russian kid is a hero.
-
NOED is going to be trash once boon totems become a thing. Not even worth the risk to take it. And I am one of the few people that doesn't pretend it is bad right now.
-
I actually think gen regression is a bit overrated for higher mmr. The blocking is better, in my opinion. Corrupt and Deadlock cannot be removed from the game and the extra whatever seconds regression perks give you back are less than the 30 seconds Deadlock gives you. And there are no conditions.
The only killer I play at high MMR is Freddy, so I would run Pop anyways, but that seems killer specific. I wouldn't run it on almost anyone else.

I would love some skins for Mikey from the new movies. The masks look so badass.
I am very excited to use new improved Vanity mirror.
Obviously I wouldn't mind it for the people who want it. But those masks are wack. Absolutely hideous.
-
If killers are intelligent, they will drop hex perks the second the update comes through. They were already losing favor even before boons. High mmr is a different game.
-
Otz was recommending Ruin/Undying with some other strong meta perk with potentially one filler before mmr, though. That has nothing to do with matchmaking and more to do with the core game design and prevalence of weak perks.

Got tunnelled to death by a ttv because of a stupid mistake he made. If I ever need a reason why this community sucks, it's because of this one match. So I'm against a Nemesis and this Zarina was crouch camping pallets and of course getting hit over them because of his tentacle. She used 2 vaccines at 5 gens, one of them after wasting shack pallet. I decided to take a vaccine and keep it for later, since I assumed this Zarina was going to use all of them and I wanted one for myself.
Nemesis hooks me and starts camping me at 4 gens and I'm really confused at that point. Then I 4% but he chases me, downs me and hooks me again (I wasn't running ds), a teammate unhooks me, bodyblocks and takes a hit and then a down but the Nemesis STILL chases me, downed me and picked up so I dc'd.
Saw he was a ttv so I went to the stream and asked why he tunnelled to death (keep in mind I didn't tbag or do anything toxic) and he said 'that's what you get for bringing a key'... I was carrying a vaccine. I corrected him and he told me I shouldn't have been carrying a vaccine... why though? On the off-chance that you would mistake it for a key? Something I wouldn't have ever imagined until he mentioned it.
Truly never been so annoyed over a match, and the fact the guy was live streaming, being really aggressive, just makes me wonder why anyone would want to watch his content.
That is actually kind of hilarious. I once got into a lobby with 3 keys and brought a broken key so it looked like 4 keys. Needless to say, the killer played extremely mean. Ha ha ha... One of them still got out. Bastard could have saved me while the Wraith was hooking, but decided not to because, I assume they wanted me to open the hatch. But my key was a FAKE!
-
You want to infect two people as fast as possible to tier up as you get more for fresh infections. So if you run Lethal or Discordance, always head to where there is more than one survivor. You only need to hit survivor a twice, and survivor b once to get tier 2.
-
I at least agree that the grade system is not based on time. It is based on pipping. A subtle difference, but an extremely relevant one.
-
That is kind of the definition of high mmr. People use those perks to crutch and inflate their mmr. The people who don't use those perks get lower mmr where the games are more chill. Who could have guessed?
-
I prefer the Pig mask she got. So I am forever Gucci.
-
Probably the 5 cake game where I got Haddonfield, they gen rushed while terror radius dodging and then left immediately. I got like one chase that I dropped near house of pain earlier, and I still, to this day, regret dropping that one chase as I never found them again. I also never wore a cake again.

However, I wouldn't mind if they reskinned it and made it Trickster's Seoul recording studio where he watched his band mates burn. It already has small recording booth looking rooms on the upstairs, and the upside down rift room could be a large orchestral style recording room.
I wouldn't mind if they reskinned it as McMillan Estate. And I hate those maps. But just the thought of losing content makes me feel sad.

The embarassing behavior of a large portion of the community has little to do with the game.
These people make everything they touch trash and most likely need some type of mental help and/or therapy.
Most times such behavior is a coping mechanism for other problems - it's often observable in the posts of various users, here, too.
What have you observed from me, Mr. Raccoon? If that is even your real name?
-
Without hoarder and Franklin's? Easily as bad as everyone with common sense was saying. But yeah, it all comes down to the lament configuration. If you consistently deny the survivors the ability to solve it, he is easily more oppressive than just about any killer.
-
I already miss it. I rarely get it in my rotation...

@Underdawg said:
Loosely defined, toxicity is behavior that kills a community.
Ask yourself, would you behave this way in real life? Or do you only do this because you have the protection of anonymity. If you're playing, say texas hold-em poker, with a group of people, and one person:
- constantly gloats after winning a hand.
- Tells everyone else at the table that they suck and should get good.
- Complains when they lose, and accuses other players of having no talent.
- Makes everyone wait 2 minutes before revealing their winning hand.
and exhibits just bad manners in general, do you think that person will have many people inviting them back to play poker?
The real life definition really doesn't apply to me because I am nicer online than I am irl.
That being said, your example is less toxic and more whiny beta syndrome.

Also if your doing something that is not specifically stated to be cheating but it obviously is considered cheating, then i will tell you not to do that.
/coughstretchedrezcough
The only reason I play on stretched resolution is because it looks better. I do not do it for the competitive advantage. Tee hee.
It just looks so good as that alpha Bubba player stares into my eyes with that extra backdrop. Is it me, or is it starting to get hot in here?

I’ve been playing both sides and I never get told to off myself unless I facecamp so it could be your playstyle maybe? You can also close chat and just move on to the next match. It’s just some random person on the internet, their opinion shouldn’t mean anything to you
I facecamp and beat people on hook and have never had anyone suggest suicide. Back in Overwatch, my own teammates would do it while I was hard carrying them. To me, this game is like a pretty field of flowers and I am in bliss.
Naturally, as I used to go through toxicity so much over the last 5 years, I understand and am not trying to downplay anyone's experience as I know other people did that to me all the time and implied I was, for whatever reason, lying. Or the one to blame.
Some really twisted stuff just because tney hadn't personally experienced it to the same extent and quite frankly I am glad as you are correct : some random can suck my cattle hammer and stop projecting their insecurities. Or they can keep doing it. As if I care. I just laugh at them because I got bored of making fun of them. And also I was banned for "threatening" one of them when I didn't even do that. That might have had something to do with my mysterious lack of rebuttal over time.

Why shouldn't face camping 2 people to death not be considered kills. The killer worked the entire match to get those kills. Those type of killers should be pushed up in MMR so that they face players that can deal with that type of play.
Getting 2 kills via face camping is probably never going to result in high mmr. Rofl. I love the vote of confidence, however.

I can guess overwatch 2 didn't go so well when the first time I hear about it is in the Dead by Daylight forums.
Your guess would be correct and the second Behavior tries to pull something like that, I am outta here!
-
I wish that everyone was wrong and there was a secret sauce to this survivor pudding. Unfortunately, from experience playing another game for 5 years, yeah... It is best to just find a new experience. Trust me, I have done the footwork. I tried everything possible to keep Overwatch fresh for years. I have literally read hundreds of these types of threads and tried every suggestion.
The only thing that ever truly worked was taking a break. And even then, stagnation never left that game. To be fair, at least DBD gets content, so it might be better off.
-
Leatherface, Three on a Meathook.
After 3 Basement hooks, hitting the victim on hook decreases their hook timer by 10% per swing.
This fair and balanced experience will change the perception of Bubba mains beating survivors on hook.

Intentionally trying to annoy or anger the other guy. There's no toxic perks or add-ons. Just people who abuse strong perks to have more control over the other person. Tbagging, flashlight clicking, and hitting on hook are also toxic, and there's no mental gymnastics that sufficiently justify them as not being toxic.
But what if I run a perk specifically to annoy or anger the other guy. Intentionally...
-
Probably Hillbilly. He is more or less the consensus favorite of survivor mains, so you know his design is busted in all the wrong ways.
