completely misunderstood what I said.
-
What my good fellow above means is.
In short, they cant fix it so they ban people for using it.
-
ok
-
Agreed, it has to be changed or else the killer can slug a survivor until less than 1 minute, hook them then game over. It would feel more BS than NOED ever has
Disagree. They said it goes slower if someone is downed or hooked. you would bleed out or crawl out by then.
-
In theory it changes nothing. You still have to wait the 60 seconds currently as the hatch is not opened in this current patch. So why would it make a difference too now. You just wait the sixty seconds and leave the with the extra 2 mins remaining.
-
I disagree. I find it easier on killer than survivor. I also find it way more fun.
You talk about survivors always getting buffed. Yet they had their so called "biggest crutches," removed. Ironic that you moan about killers still been underpowered. I did and always have believed removing the "crutches" would do nothing.
Think about it, survivors lost vacuum to pallets. Yet killers have got a vacuum towards survivors, especially nurse and huntress. Lets not discuss them hitboxes.
Decisive is nerfed into the ground. You can be like. Oh but it counters tunnelling. Ummm. No it does not. You just leave them on the floor.
Borrowed time is absolutely useless. It does nothing more than place the survivor that is using that perk in the other survivors position.
You may think Mettle of Man is op. But it really isn't as most killers are not M1 warriors. if you use a killer that has a decent M2 ability and you use M1. You are probably just bad with your M2.
As a spirit main, the only thing I would say is turning up the sound of survivors. As you actually cant hear them.
You act surprised by the Legion nerfs. well this is what happens when an entire community of killers play him with no skill. The whole chasing backwards thing means that you have got multiple swings, with insane cooldown and good speed. With all this you need to get 1 hit. Just no skill. Long awaited nerf and I saw this coming all the time. Every legion I came across that used this tactic i said "you are the reason that legion will be nerfed into the ground." I knew it would happen.

so why not make it and I know it’d take time but it’d be time well spent since it’d give people a reason too A. Buy cosmetics and B. To grind on the gameso your idea is adding infinite prestige. I mean it takes quite a lot of bloodpoints to get P3 with all perks on Killers as it is. Why just keep on removing the perks and adding the perks needed. If there is no reward for continuing to prestige, then what is the point in going past 3 as it is. No reward, no point.

What about some 3rd gender survivor? Were living in 2019....that should be a killer, annoy the survivors to make them dc. A killer that walks around talking about "correct pronouns" Like the person that was in the store and kept on going "it is ma'am."
But in all seriousness... devs if this becomes a thing I will quit for life.

Well it still is incredibly easy to get to rank 1 :P
that is for both killer and survivor tbh.

people always say "a good player can work through hex ruin" but come on 14!!!! and on top of that the killer picked Gideon meat plant with tuft of hair, he gets the easiest 4k in just 3 minutes!!!! please for the love of god tone it down to like 5 or 6 skill checks because 14 is just crazythis is literally every gen for me... just now means that I never miss great skill checks. Just practice and then this wont be a problem.

All Killers have different ability's, but survivors only have different Perks. I thought about iT and then a see a podcast from the king talking about iT to. Maybe claudette could heal other a little bit faster, maybe met could run a little bit faster, maybe Feng could vault a little bit faster... Evrything is posseble, i just want another reason why play this survivor. Comment down what your thought are about this. Bye!I mean I don't know what items are... but they seem to simulate some form of power.

Hello,I think people did this before me but I did a calculation of how many points do you need (and the played time so) to properly play the game survivors and killer side.
Since "best" perks are purely subjective, I considered unlocky all perks.
Since all survivors are the same, you don't need to lvl up all of them, just unlock perks and lvl up max one survivor, that takes me to 21.85M BP to have one survivor with all perks.
Killers side is very different, since I have to unlock all perks on all my killers to play them "properly", and that takes me to 99.4M BP
In term of played time, I estimate this to 240h for survivor (while playing survivor) and 994h for killers.
If you lvl up leatherface first, you'll be able to get BBQ on every killer (but still RNG based) , I'll mitigate killers to 700h.
This is a subjective estimation, I'll give you all my assumptions at the end of the post. So, here's my problem, I have 275h played, not a lot but still respectable. I want to lvl up survivors to play with my friends but I also love to play killer (lot of them). I actually have a proper build on survivor but not a single full build on my killers.
Why is it so unfair ?
I don't know what could be a good solution to adress this issue but acually I'm bored, I play killer to earn points , btw I'm ranking up and getting vs surv with full build while I'm full lvl 1 perk.
Maybe stop upgrading perks one lvl at a time while lvl 40+ could be a good idea or just lowering high lvl bloodweb cost idk. This is an estimation, you can disagree but stay respectful.
Thank youAssumptions :
-59 surv perks
-54 killer perks
-1lvl on one perk per bloodweb (so lvl to earn = 3xnumber of perks)
-1M BP to reach lvl 40, 50k BP each lvl afterwards
-14 survivors to up lvl40, one to max
-14 killers to lvl up max
-10 min survivor games for 15k BP in average
-15 min killer games for 25k BP in averageI mean I got P3 Spirit in about 4 days of playing, plus I go to work and university...

Crouching was made for hiding not teabagging. Its like removing the pigs crouch cause that can be used for teabagging. Also if teabagging really bothers you that much then you are easily triggered. -

The gates do not instantly get powered when the 5th gen is done.Either:
1: the gens take several minutes, say, 5, to charge the gates. The survivors must survive that time before they can open the gates.
Or
2 Depending on how fast the gens get done 5 to one minute is the charge time. The -faster- the gens are done, the -longer- it takes to charge the gates as the systems in places are forced back to life instead of a gradual warming up.
The survivors likewise must survive until they can open the gates.
This option adds some strategy to how gens are done, maybe? The minutes aren't set in stone, but time flies, so a balance between how long you can avoid the sacrifice hook, and giving the killer time to do their job is needed.
The biggest issue with gen rush is that killers don't have time to do anything, imo.
And this becomes sort of a secondary objective for survivors. This also helps fix the end game.
Heck, it might add some much needed tension back into the game.
Also this avoids a lot of perks needing to be reworked.
seems like a buff for keys tbh...
In that five minutes the survivors would be able to go find the hatch. Also this is not a second objective. the idea that adding a timer on the gates is not a second objective. If anything surviving is an objective naturally so this has added nothing other than the fact that the most annoying perk, noed (from the survivors perspective), has been buffed. -

How can they really find it fair to have an add-on for someone who can go invisible with no indication whatsoever where they are but also no idea that they're using their ability? There is no counterplay whatsoever. Every other strong add-on for every killer has some counterplay on some level (exception being nurse and exhaustion add-ons that remain broken).I believe the wraith has some form of add ons that do something like this. Oh well.
Also leave spirit alone she has nothing else unlike other killers. -

Might as Well been because I spawn with him looking me in the face or at least 5 steps away from meIts a high chance that the killer will spawn with you every since this update
only problem is where would the killer spawn on lery's or the game.
Maybe the basement areas? -

Why do I keep depipping when a killer DC's? Not only do I depip but also have the joy of ZERO blood points. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN😠I swear you don't actually de-pip, if you only get enough points for a pip don't you safety pip. It shows as a de-pip but if you hover over the rank at the top right you will see that you have not lost a pip. Bloodpoints they can not do anything about.

like the fractured cowshed? Even with bamboozle you can still just loop one of the windows and be safe. So they stay in the game unfortunately.

so you camp when survivors do objectives and you are in a chase, sounds like you always camp. The killer is meant to stop the survivor from doing the objectives just like the pallet looping stops killers from completing their own objective of kills.
my problem is gens take to short of a time and need extra time or killers need more buffs, especially killers that are not viable at high ranks. No, he camps when the Survivors are trolling too much, teabagging, and looping. Can't you read?
what is looping? looping a pallet?
that is what survivors are meant to do obviously why should they drop pallets down straight away?
read your own comment "and looping" they should loop and like I said if you don't like it follow them and force them to drop it, don't be an idiot and try mind gaming, never works on me that is. I had a killer that got bloodlust 3 and could still not hit me. Don't bother trying to mind game as soon as they drop it. Which is why I love brutal strength but I do think there are too many pallets in the game

So all killers out there I am going to explain something to you (and if you are a survivor listen and listen good) there is nothing wrong with camping people further into the game. If you can't get someone down before two gens pop and you ruin is gone then you should camp to secure your kill and maybe get another by someone who is too altruistic. We camp because let's face it, you want a kill while playing KILLER and don't want to be tbagged at the gate. I play so many games where I don't play like an ass and I get rewarded with a nice tbag at the gate. Do you think we want to be looped and ######### with all game to not camp, lose everyone and be tbagged by all four survivors at the door survivors? Do you like it when the killers sit in front of your hook at the end of the game and nod their head even if they were complete trash? Then don't do it to us. We camp because we are tired of getting BMed at the damn doorI only t-bag at the door if the killer camps, unless it is a late game camp then I understand.
But if you camp with 4 gens left and ruin still up then there is no excuse for that.I myself as killer, think that gens do go fast and so does ruin and so they need better totem placements, even though the hex skill checks are not hard to hit.
Also asking a survivor not to loop is basically you saying gives us free hooks, no pallets are there to be looped and to slow down the killer why should they drop them down straight away, that is a ridiculous statement. But I do think that there are too many pallets.

Freddy needs love, the devs know it and we know it.We all know it's a work in progress but it's been almost a year ( might be a year when his changes go live lmao ) so lets brainstorm!
Easy changes to make him viable:
- Sleep timer 4 seconds default. He is "okay" against average survivors with a 4-second sleep timer.
- Buff and or rework his addons. Action speed add-ons should be actually severe. Hopefully, skill check chances are not based on time but based on progress, but I'm assuming it's based on time, unfortunately.
- Remove his "mist". It serves no purpose and only hurts freddy. If you want to keep his mist, then he deserves some SERIOUS power in the dream world, which i'll get to in a second.
- Lullaby should be map wide, volume should change based on distance from a survivor but there should ALWAYS be a lullaby going on while awake. Give a chance for survivors to suddenly fall asleep while listening to the lullaby. Lockers or the basement should be the only "zones" where you are safe from the lullaby sleeping effect.
- Freddy should have the ability to jump out of lockers during a chase with his power. If a survivor is running straight ahead and there is a locker in the distance, allow freddy to do a 1 second channel to teleport to the nearest locker while using his sleep ability on the survivor in the chase. This would allow for some interesting chase mechanics.
- Freddy should not be 100% visible at all times vs sleeping survivors. Make his appearance pop in and out constantly, like every 2 seconds he appears. This would allow him to mind game pallets and have interesting chases.
All my suggestions are assuming you will be keeping the current system of waking up. Obviously if that changes, than what I suggested would have to be tweaked or looked into because it could be pretty OP otherwise.
I'd love my favorite themed killer to get enough love where he can compete with the nurse or billy.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
Post your own ideas!
Love the ideas especially the locker idea that is good and kinda resembles the real movie with how he is in control of the dream, or nightmare.
would be good for a PTB to see if freddy not constantly been visible against sleeping survivors. -
@Grimzy said:
they should first fix his sleep, i mean it takes near to no skill to just stand and spam the button to sleep anyone within his radius. He should only be able to do it while looking straight at a survivor, like the shape does.but sometimes you can not see the actual survivor. I just do a 360 loop with the power each time I hear a gen has been worked on and I always catch a crouching prestige 3 Claudette hiding behind a tree.

what about noedjust destroy the dull totems not hard, I see a lot of killers with noed but they rarely actually get to use it.
Noed is my favourite hex perk as it is the only one I get to use. But does not work well as it requires for all gens to be done and if you can not find anyone at the end of the game then you are done for.
But this comment does remind me of a game I had where the noed spawned on the totem right behind me as I did the last gen and left the dull totem up and the totem was lit when I did the gen and so the killer had no chance to get it as he was already in a chase

I got a feeling somebody has already brought up this topic, But am i the only person who thinks Totems are practically useless: since 95% percent of the time they spawn in horrible spots and get destroyed in less then 15 seconds when a match starts?
Don't get me wrong, there are some great Totem perks out their, like Ruin, huntress lullaby and such, it's just, there practically useless almost every game, here's an example:"Match starts off, Coldwind Farm (No surprise their
), begin with the Clown, You start looking around aimlessly for the totem (Totem Ruin), You have no clue on where its at, 10 seconds has gone by and you start to begin to see site of it, Totem has spawned on the far side of the map (where you can barely see it
), without haste you begin running over to protect it; as soon as your about to reach the corner, you hear it, that awful crack of thunder; you reach the corner discovering a Claudette T-bagging at it's broken remains, she continues to T-bag has she slowly walks away, leaving you there, all alone, with your broken Totem, in dismay..."Yeah I was talking to a friend of mine about this and we thought that maybe allowing the killer to place the hex totem anywhere, in bounds of the map obviously and not up a tree, but the hex totem will not become active till placed.
The only problem we found with this is that the survivor just needs to watch you place it or see where you came from and retrace your steps. -
@Nick said:
Remove Freddys aura reading and buff everything else. Shorter dream transition, less skillchecks etc.totally agree as no one fears freddy and every survivor smiles when they hear is lullaby

why not have less ranks and have a game mode that allows a non-ranked system so it is just casual games rather than ranked
-
They can’t decrease time. Tested on largest maps, tampered timer actual makes it where you must search the boxes LITERALLY AS FAST AS HUMANLY possible, without causing EVEN A SINGLE CHASE OR DELAY... if one incurs.... You. Are. Dead.
my whole point is that 5 minutes is way too long, like I would have a cup of tea If I found out the timer was 5mins, plus this post is for buffs and this idea is a nerf. When I play pig I do not tunnel survivors with traps as they are not going to do gens and would get the trap off.

RBT:
-Increase the RBT timer to 5 minutes instead of 2 minutes and 30 seconds.Should have just said, "Make RBTs less scary and effective"
they need to decrease the time, in the movie you were given quite a short time to find the key. (in the man' s body) -
That's nice but that still doesn't address the numerous 2nd chances Survivors get (DS, Adrenaline, Instant Heal, Unbreakable, and a free hatch). Not to mention all the pallets and loop spots.
I suppose in the same way multiple blinks on a nurse allows mistakes as you fail a blink but then use a correction blink.
The main issue with pallets is that there are way too many of them so when survivors do gens they no where to run and therefore do not fear a killer. -
Well it´s an endgame perk that has a one time use and might not even come into play.
Killer wasting a perk slot for the whole match, for a 2 second window is just not liable.About wasting perks, hmm kinda in the way that dribbling wastes ds but obviously you do not see that, I agree the perk is op but you are talking about wasting perks and that wastes a perk.

I always thought Killers Camp because they encountered a lot of toxic bodyblocking flashlight wielding swf. Which i understand and respect.no killers camp me and I do not use flashlight and I am not toxic by t-bagging,they do it as they are noticing that they are doing bad, plus I have many killers that camp me and use bbq and chilli, they then proceed to say that the survivors were close even though they were doing gens on the other side of the map.
I also rarely play swf and still get camped.
Your whole idea of bodyblocking gets countered by the perk We're gonna live forever as the perk literally promotes bodyblocking. -
At what rank? The last 6 games I played I've been gen rushed. First hook = 3 gens.
do you not use ruin, I understand that they need to make totems harder to find but there is no way unless you respect every pallet that they get 3gens done
