Someone didn't read the math :(
I did, but if you actually want a "win" you'd need at least 2 kills. A toxic strat usually implies you are using the strategy to win in an underhanded manner, this is more of a meme strat. every survivor has a 1/4 chance of removing their hat, if at least 2 of them manage to do that the strat is no longer effective in a toxic way, it just becomes a meme. Its a pretty great meme strat though if you want to watch the poor guy beg you to let him through to the last station

I run into way more survivor cheaters than killer cheaters, anyone know why that is? Killer cheats harder to come by?
A killers only real goal is to murder survivors. A hacking killer is both boring for the cheater, and easy to counter as a survivor. They'll either kill you outright, or force you into a position where you can simply bleed to death. If you want to avoid the DC penalty against a hacking killer, its pretty easy.
A hacking survivor however, can completely deny the killer of their only goal, and the other survivors only means of exiting the game without DC'ing. This means they can essentially hold the entire game hostage without any recourse from the survivors or killers, usually forcing the killer or any of the survivors to DC if they want to continue to enjoy the game.

There was this one time there was this team of Dwights. I don't think I necessarily did anything bad, I think they called me a camper. Probably kept running to the hooked guy and so I chased them.
Anyway, they mashed me calling me like camper and spammed me with some random stuff for a few minutes. It was some time ago, but I think it was them spamming random letters. They have up and I msgd something cordial back. (Pretty sure it was cordial). No response naturally.
Something actually somewhat similar happened to me about a month ago. I totally forget what i did during the match that angered him so much, but he proceeded to nonstop spam my comment section with stuff like this for the entire day. He was still commenting stuff by the time i woke up in the morning.

I think lerys is a good example of reworking a map to give it more ambience. It feels incredibly unique, the damp neon lighting filling each hall and room, the snow blowing in from barely cracked open windows, the ear blaringly loud machinery in the very center of the map, its great. I wish more maps had distinctly noticeable environments like this, outside of their distinct buildings and color palette.

Holy hell that is super unprofessional.

Anything but the constant stagnation that is normal patches/midchapters. I Majorly agree that this should become the norm, sure the update has a few kinks but the fact were getting so many exciting changes has made me more invested in a simple update than any other midchapter ever has.

Good to hear. I can’t wait until I hear the chase music.
Here is the chase music, you can't actually hear it in game as spirit. Only when chased by spirit. So if you'd rather get the chance to listen to it now, here it is.
-
Its actually not so bad. Been playing her a lot of the PTB and played against her about 3ish times. It is a lot easier to track her in phase, of course. But shes still completely invisible, i've gotten plenty of survivors with her power since they are working solely off sound and not visuals. She loses out on long distance phasing though, new spirit will need to use her power exclusively in chase (except for mobility) to get downs, since survivors can pinpoint her location pretty easily outside of her terror radius. Her chase music is boppin though.
-
They are horrendous. Every single one. Yes, even neas.

No I haven't played against her.
I have! The direction audio is what you'd expect it to be. Similar to other direction audio like survivor pain grunts, hex fire sfx, etc. You can sort of pinpoint her location and how close she is exactly like you can an injured survivor.
-
It is needed for gameplay reasons. You make almost every decision in the end game entirely off of how much time is left, and that is important for functional gameplay. The question of "Do i go back and save my teammate?" is answered very different when the bar is full, and when it is nearly empty. If it is never displayed, it will lead to confusion and frustration as survivors are incapable of properly assessing the situation, it will also majorly damage endgame killer perks since they require the endgame timer to have a feel for when they should be using them. We can assume the size of the killers is increased the more the entity has influenced them, in a sense they are coursing with power bestowed upon them and it increases their size.

And? Your point is?

Trapper buff. Because holy ######### we literally waited 5 years for this.

Doctor rework. I don't even play doctor that much but it was a really fantastic example of how to bring an old killer back up to modern standard. They polished his addons, made his power less sluggish, gave him more utility, etc. It may not have made him a more powerful killer but it was a great way to give us an example of how they should be doing reworks right without letting them get out of hand.

I can't take this ######### anymore guys. Somebody put me out of my misery so i stop forcing myself to read these posts

Already confirmed that if the only totem left is a Boon totem, it will auto-snuff out any Hex totems that would activate. For example, 1 Totem left and it has a boon on it, exit gates are opened and the killer has NOED, it will not overwrite the boon totem. Also, if the killer cleanses the Boon totem after the gates are powered, NOED will still not activate because it only activates when the doors are powered.
Welp. Thats pretty stupid. There goes the entire principle behind "powerful, but risky" perks.

That's only half the story. Pyramid Head removes the option of a survivor from dropping the pallet by putting his sword into the ground with proper timing then chase them as a 110% killer for some of the loop, and threaten corner shots. He can also shoot a survivor as he's getting stunned if you begin the command before the stun lands. I've had a Yui be furious at me at Cow Loop for pulling that off.
He can also react to animation locks and aim where they'll land, which is only counterable by Dead Hard.
Eeeeyup. I didn't even begin to scratch the surface as to how much phead is just a better slinger after the update, now that slinger also has to "predict" his shots, phead outclasses him quite majorly in absolutely every department that requires predicting the range of their power. Oh and he can ignore hook perks too while hes at it.

@TicTac said:
Isnt deathslinger now in almost every situation just an weaker pyramid? And pyramid has 115% and a second ability.
Essentially.
At a pallet pyramid head can:
-Cancel m2 into an m1 with minimal movement penalty
-Predict survivor movement and snipe them before they even drop the pallet
-Hit them after during the pallet drop animation
-Zone them after they've dropped a pallet and hit them while they are still stuck at the loop
-If he is not capable of doing any of these, he can just break the pallet and catch up 5% faster than slinger.
-Most of these also apply to windows.
At a pallet the new deathslinger can:
-ADS before they reach the pallet, and attempt to compensate for them dodging with his low sensitivity. Missing would likely mean being forced to break the pallet.
-After the pallet has been dropped, Attempt to drag them/yourself over to their side of the loop for a hit. Not possible at all loops.
-Break the pallet and attempt to catch up with a -5% movement speed penalty.
-Only the first of these applies to windows.
He is most certainly a worse Phead.

I personally think it's kinda huge, for a common. Deep wound cannot pause if you are solving a box, so the survivor would be forced to mend for 12 seconds.
If they lack eyes, missing a skillcheck is incredibly rare.
-
>As a Twins main, I am sad that they didn't get any love in the upcoming mid-chapter.Implying the ever get any love in any patch/mid chapter.
-
It would be cool, but i couldn't shake the feeling that in its place we could've gotten a separate license. Taking 1 killer and or 1-2 survivors from each license and moving on feels like its the best option, since it allows BHVR to give us new licensed content instead of focusing on getting more of it from a franchise they already have used.

Any killer above C tier should count their days
Except nurse of course. Shes given the gilded road to stomp anybody she pleases for eternity.
-
Keep her in that grave or so help me!

Deathslinger was a very odd choice for a nerf. There were many more pressing matters with much more opressive and generally unfun killers that should have come first. Hes a rarity as well, not a very large amount of the community play him frequently. Feels strange that they'd prioritize him before killers like blight, twins, nurse, etc.
-
I have never once in my entire time playing this game heard a single person ask for a killer to have alternative objectives. It seems universally agreed upon they have the exact right amount of things on their plate to justify engaging gameplay. Adding disabling survivor perks and it just overfills that plate and will likely lead to frustration and annoyance. We'll have to see though when it launches on the live server.
-
His instant ADS did need changing, while it was pretty important for his gameplay it did feel rather unfun when he could basically just spam m2 until he decided to m1 you or shoot you. However the changes took it wayyyyyy too far. The community had plenty of great ideas on how to make deathslinger feel more fair to fight while still keeping up all his strengths, they threw that out the window and have nerfed him into the dirt. If theres any slinger mains out there who are suffering right now, i'll buy you a pint at the dead dawg saloon for your troubles.
-
Consistency. They seem to want to keep a generally consistent "32/24m" teror radius rule.
-
I have a feeling that any hex that would normally activate and has no available dull totems to activate on will snuff out a boon totem and take its place. It would be hilariously stupid to have a blessed totem work as a proxy-counter to hex perks that switch totems or don't begin the trial lit.
-
Its quite sad. While i think we can all agree he needed some changes, he didn't need nerfs. He was at his best possible moments, a mid B tier killer. And at his worst possible moments, a low C tier. He wasn't that strong and he wasn't that oppressive, save for his generally unfun ability to quickscope. Its very sad to see them take constructive criticism of his kit and warp it into an incredibly punishing nerf. I feel very sorry for deathslinger mains at the moment

Replenishing toolboxes is something we kept in mind. The benefits to recharging your toolbox would be offset by the time you spent hiding in a locker. Overall, you'd be better off working on the generator (even if you don't have a toolbox anymore).

Survivors always expect you to break a pallet. They never truly expect you to eat one at twice the speed.

Concept art usually doesn't translate exactly to 3D models. Sometimes the face just changes a bit and they stick with it and render the new face in future artistic depictions.
