No, they don't.
Close it if it bothers you so much. There's no need to remove a feature most people use sensibly because you can't handle what the occasional asswipe says in it.

Because when the Twitch shirts came out, there were literally 6 survivors (Original 4 + David and Nea)
Don't ask them to go back and do cosmetic stuff. They have problems enough doing that for optimization and balancing.
Laurie, Ace, Feng and Bill all predated David. He was the tenth Survivor, not the sixth.
-
...they did? He looks pretty spot on now, much more so then Quentin, Tapp, Laurie and Nancy look like their actors.
Old Jonathan looks much worse.

IDK what else people need to not blindly trust leaks.
The community does this frequently. Get in hysteria over something with no official source.

You think Oni would beat Nemesis in a fight?
Yes.
Nemesis may be a powerful killing machine, but he is biologically made by humans and can be (and eventually is) felled by conventional weaponry.
The Oni on the other hand is a supernaturally powered demon samurai. It's unlikely he'd be even able to be hurt, let alone beaten.
Of course, if we're talking about the Oni pre-Fog, then Nemesis would win since Kazan was a regular human at that point.
-
I hope so. It's so *boring*!
Haha, we get it. Funny basement Bubba. Now please can we play the actual game.
AFKing in the basememt means theres no Survivor-Killer interactivity, no potential for boldness and altruism points and unlikely to make progress to the majority of Archive challenges. Even worse if the Survivors brought BP offerings.
It's literally just holding left click for five minutes and leaving with miniscule points to hopefully find a better match with a Killer who is actually playing the game.
Talk about a snooze fest.

@Shaped said:
Isn't there some lithe bug going on atm? Didn't see it in my games personally but I think I saw people reporting it.
Yep.
One of my buddies vaulted a window and got hit with a permanent speed boost. He was moving at Lithe speed (heh) the entire trial, even after getting hooked.
Killer called him out for speed hacking.
Haven't been able to replicate it since.
-
I hope not.
I love RE and all, but that would be overkill. No need to clutter up the roster with 5-6 characters from the same franchise.
-
Yun-Jin is going to get one, naturally, and I can definitely see Leon and Jill getting one each, as all the licensed characters pre-Cheryl got one in 2019 (bar Laurie and Quentin).
I doubt we'll see one for Chris and Claire, however. After all, Lisa and Cybil didn't get one alongside Cheryl.

What if I were to tell you that the issue is latency and not her hitboxes?
Her hitboxes are still an issue. They're spherical and aren't anywhere close to matching the model of the hatchet.
The latency and desync just makes it look a lot worse then most other hits in the game.
-
Well if you're on Steam, and have put less then two hours into the game and purchased it less then two weeks ago, you should be fine.
Anything else, good luck.

Taking Karu's number of 78 for example, we're all talking about Celsius
- In Fahrenheit, it would be ~172
- Kelvin, it would be ~351
Otherwise, the numbers would be way bigger....
For example, if we're talking about 78 in Fahrenheit & Kelvin...
- 78 Kelvin would result in NEGATIVE -195 degrees Celsius - lmao
- 78 Fahrenheit would be 25 degrees Celsius. 25* Celsis is by no means a high temperature :) .... At least for PCs
Edit: Damn you Typos
69 gang rise up.

They're expensive, yes. Most games with similar monetisation modules have it that way, which is fine because it means the actual gameplay content can be reasonably priced.
I'd much prefer cheap content drops and expensive cosmetics instead of the inverse.
Look at games from ten years ago. $50-60 seasonal passes, $15-20 expansion packs, etc. All generally gameplay content that you have to pay a pretty penny for. Now that kind of module has been gradually phased out, and for the better I say.
-
No. Stop complaining and either force them out or ignore them.
There's no penalty to hitting the last survivor on the hook over and over, so why should there be a penalty for this?
-
@sensovsky said:
I find it very dumb when people argue cuz one niche perk does affect other niche perk LOL
It's not dumb when one niche perk single handedly turns a Killer into an uncounterable, unfun and unfair monster, with no chance for Survivors to use any other niche perks that are supposed to counter it but doesn't.
Like OP said, Bite the Bullet explicitly says it should me 'no noise'. It's not a percentage value like Iron Will (where it makes sense for it to clash with Stridor).
-
...change in what way?
Because it seems to me that the game is constantly changing.
Frequent balance and bug patches, trimonthly large content seasonal updates, content added to the in-game store every single week, fortnightly lore and challenge drops, etc. The newest Killer even implemented a unique AI environmental obstacle, but that isn't changing the game?
I'm not sure what you're expecting.
-
@femotek820 said:
So you tunneled him, but because he failed ds this is not tunneling?
That's your takeaway from the post? Not the fact that OP got DDoSed, which carries a hefty penalty should you get caught?
Also, looks like reading isn't your strong point, considering OP said he grabbed the survivor while they were grabbing another survivor off the hook. That is no where near tunnelling; the survivor made a risky play that did not pay off.

BHVR is not one person managing the game. It has many different people in different roles, so one person fixing a seemingly insignificant bug (set breaking) isn't taking precedence over much larger issues (server management, game breaking bugs, etc).
It's like when people complain that "why are they making cosmetics and not fixing bugs!! reeeee". Apparently they don't understand that the same people who are graphic artists and designers aren't qualified to program, nor did they sign up to.
Also, it's likely for legal reasons. The Silent Hill cosmetics are all linked for the same reason.

'Once all 5 Generators are completed, any destroyed Zombies respawn in an Exit Gate'
There's only two zombies. When one dies, it respawns a few moments later. With this add-on, they respawn behind an exit gate instead.
It does not imply that you can build up an army of zombies.

Thanks guys. I was wondering that nobody noticed the zero substance and pure hate speech. Really, bugs are annoying and every map get closed after bringing a new one or a rework but that is not a way to start a discussion.
OP seems weirdly obsessed that the chapter doesn't fall exactly in line with what he expected out of an Resident Evil DLC.
I'm pretty sure it's the same guy who made a thread or two complaining that Nemesis 'doesn't feel like Nemesis' because he... can't sprint like the Hillbilly?

I'm sure people in danger of losing their livelihoods or even their lives would find people making jokes about the name of the disaster amusing.

How is it a nerf? The effect is still the same, if an item's charges fully ran out it would be the same as it not being there in the first place (uless they have the perk to get charges back.)
Keys can still open the hatch after all its charges are gone. That's what people have taken issue with.
Otherwise, you're correct.

As far as I know, that's a fan nickname based off of her attire.

but a giant bubble that can block a certain view for 4 seconds
This is intentional. It's supposed to give the Killer a chance to leave the hooked undetected, and Survivors a chance to sneak away from a freshly completed generator.
It does its job fine, and affects both sides.
-
Wrong film. The Nightmare on Elm Street chapter is based off the 2010 remake, not the original film series.
-
It should be. Even though it's all visually client side, it can give you an unfair advantage.
Say, you swap out a Survivor's model with one that is twice as large. Now you're going to see them way easier behind trees and the such when on their screen, they're perfectly hidden.
-
Well I mean, yeah. That's pretty likely, as you and them would start queuing up at roughly the same time because the match ended for you all at the same time.
-
You dropped this.

It even came with a great shirt for Claudette I really like, and will use from now on.
The items in that case were all 'donated' to the pack by various Content Creators who had exclusive branded cosmetics in the game.
Since BHVR doesn't do that anymore, there wouldn't be anything to put in a hypothetical Charity Case 2

Oni is a supernaturally powered demon. Nemesis is just a biologically made superhuman.
Oni wins.
-
Survivors blocking the Killer is not reportable, stop acting like it is. It's only reportable when Survivors block each other (sandbagging) or the Killer blocks the Survivors in a corner (holding them hostage).
-
Because it's actively helping the team?
You've never seen a game or movie where a heroic character throws their self infront of an incoming threat to protect their vulnerable friends?
-
It was mentioned in the weekly dev stream one time, back when they still did those.
It's a purposeful design choice, to give the Killer time to get away from the hook hopefully unseen, and to give the Survivors an opportunity to slink away from a freshly completed generators.

Well my first achievement was on the 24th of June, 2016, so that's when I started.
My Prestige 1 achievement was on the 10th of July, Prestige 2 on the 29th of October, and Prestige 3 on the 20th of November. For reference, the Legacy cut off was on the 24th of November.
Of course, I wasn't putting dozens of hours into the game per week, and was probably spreading my levels between all my characters, not just Jake (who is the only one I have a full set of Legacy on).
Yes, the old Bloodweb was way worse than the current one. A level 15 Bloodweb back then is probably roughly equivalent to a level 40 Bloodweb now in size, and you could only get one perk per level to boot.

True. But they didn't know either 🤣
They only dropped it because everyone complained about the price the second the event started.
Oh definitely, but that in itself was another issue. That is, how lacklustre and boring that event was.
Oh well.

Should've waited ig
In hindsight yeah, but I doubt anyone could've predicted the prices would be slashed by 60% in less then 48 hours after release.
A warning would've been nice.
-
Currently around 22,000.
I should have about 47,200 or so, but 25,200 of my shards were lost to the abyss last Halloween when the Hallowed Curse outfits were released for full price, and then discounted by 60% only a day later. Meaning the two outfits I bought before the discount cost 43,200 shards (21,600 each) instead the 18,000 the next day (9,000 each). Calculate the difference, and I got yammed out of 25,200.
Yes I'm still salty, eight months later.
EDIT: mfw I found out

Don't feel bad. Winning with that build doesn't take any effort or skill. You didn't get outplayed, you got screwed by unbalanced BS.

So what? That's still that person's choice, and other sets look good mixed. They shouldn't be a thing. Mix and match is the best part of cosmetics.
Then purchase the cosmetics that are designed to be mix and matched.
The idea of sets lets BHVR's character design artists have more freedom in creating more complex outfits, as they don't have to work around the restriction of having to ensure the cosmetics can be neatly split into three pieces. This lets more involved outfits exist, such as long dresses (like Kate and Jane have), hoodies and onesies.
Sets are a necessity for some outfits. Otherwise you'd end up with ridiculousness like this.

@CoalTower said:

Lore doesn't mean anything. It's controversial at best. Anyways, sets shouldn't be in the game in the first place, with the exception of Konami forcing them to make them. They shouldn't have ever kept them.
Sets are fine for Legendary cosmetics, and other outfits that would look silly if they were unlinked (such as Robbie Rabbit Legion and Nea's graffiti artist hoodie).

Also there is a video showing Claire model in game that the team probably worked on but there is no proof of that.
That video isn't real, the maker is using a model swapper mod.

I have, once. It was a Steve with no perks (so definitely not Distortion as suggested above).
He had already been doing suspicious stuff earlier in the trial. I have a clip of him being unhooked in the basement when I was at the top, but he never came up. I double checked every corner and locker down there, but he was somehow gone.
Then at the end of the trial as I hooked someone else, I saw the aura of someone healing the Steve, but not the Steve's aura himself.
-
Nope. It's never coming back, confirmed many times by the devs over the years.
