Changing the skin of a character is bannable?
Since I published this photo of Jason as Trapper, I got too curious, what could be done and wanted to ask you, Change the skin of a character and play a public or private game, is it banned? If you don't know what I'm talking about, this is what I mean.

It should be. Even though it's all visually client side, it can give you an unfair advantage.
Say, you swap out a Survivor's model with one that is twice as large. Now you're going to see them way easier behind trees and the such when on their screen, they're perfectly hidden.
Modifying the files is dangerous, because if you get EAC banned, they're not going to ask second questions. I'm not sure such bans can even be appealed. Nobody other than you can see the modified files, so you're not going to be reported for it even if you play pubs, but if EAC catches it, you're on your own.
The current stance from BHVR Support is that custom skins aren't actively banned for, however if EAC goes for you then they won't help you either. It's very much so a "Do it at your own risk".
That said, the mods (moderators) don't like these mods (moderations) being shown on the Forums.
Modifying game files can result in a ban. If EAC flags your account for file modification - you will be banned. BHVR has stated in the past any bans for file modification are permanent and they cannot (will not) assist you in reversing the ban. This has been covered numerous times on the forums and is in the ToS.
So far they've said it's at your own risk but they're probably going to properly go after it at some point for the reasons @Superyoshiegg mentioned
This is the same situation with Left 4 Dead 2 Versus
People were literally downloading client side mods that make the special infected glow in darkness.
Some other people had a mod that increased the radius of the flashlight.
