for example: "a Commodious Toolbox with Socket Swivels and Instructions makes you repair 30% faster, and it'll typically last you the whole game (if your teammates are helping with gens). That'll bring a solo generator down to ~61.5 seconds. An Engineer's Toolbox will take it down further to ~57 seconds, though it'll run out much faster." stated by the wonderful peanits in another post. just for further evidence
-
i mean i call gen rushing while playing survivor, if i can increase my repair speed 30%+ by a toolbox and add-ons not including working on it with others, prove thyself and streetwise for extra charges... that is gen rushing, i feel you are more survivor player and try to bait it or just dont quite understand, forever freddy add-ons went to about 15% (green and yellow add-on) but my toolbox already has 30%? like good luck stopping me without corrupt, even then youre just buying time, but now imagine 4 of those... yeah gen rush... having said that some people do over use the term, but without ruin or corrupt a decent and smart team will destroy you easily, sorry but thats just stats from someone who knows the %`s and isnt afraid to admit playing survivor is easier

I dislike the idea the killer can tell its a hex totem, I would personally prefer it an all or nothing kinda setup. Perk combinations are always a think. Rancor and Nemesis. Lithe and Just Dance With Me.
The idea of perk combos to me is exciting, yes it means you're giving up a perk slot, but in general for a very powerful combination.
well survivor compared to killer is very different, everything as killer matter, admittedly rank one is easier with more people being in red ranks but for me as a killer i will rely on a good build to handle those difficult games and needed multiple perks to slightly make something stronger isnt something i tend to do, as for survivor though i just use a perk randomizer as the game is quite easy, even more so with the ruin change. its an interesting change but i can lead a good chase so im either escaping or the killer is losing, not trying to be cocky in any sense but iv played this game a long time so i know all tiles and near all totem spawns, another reason i play solo to make it more of a challenge. either way i hope hexs do get a change and i might use them, but corrupt and other slowing perks will be my go to for most killers

You are correct that both are a good idea, however I don't see the dev's re-working how hex totems work. I think they would be more in favor a perk that affects totems, given that the only perk close to that is Thrill.
Also In your case, would the hex totem be invisible to the killer? Do they not know which totem's are hexed until the timer runs out?
true, it would mean reworking the hex`s but it would allow more builds without needing multiple slots to help another perk which i feel a few perks do to make them good/up to other perk standards such as nemesis. But in my case i would say yes the killer can see which is a hex, so they can go to it and trap it as they see fit, it might protect it even better, it might give it away that its a hex, or maybe the whole thing was a bait to make you wanna try get the totem for no reason or for it to be haunted grounds
-
Well i thought it was an interesting idea anyway lmao

That is my point of the perk though. Yes it uses a perk slot, but in 80 seconds you can hook 1-2 survivors getting 1-2 stacks of Either Devour or Lullaby. You can hit 2-4 Survivors giving you almost all stacks on 3rd Seal.
Yes It seems stupid to run a whole perk to protect totems for 80 seconds, but even you admitted that would be strong in the amount of things you can do in 80 seconds.
I've never run ruin, never even unlocked it as a teachable after prestiging my hag. My favorite hex totem is 3rd seal (my only issue with it is, if I was unlucky to get SWF it's pointless).
If you go your route, for balance reason, totems couldn't stay protected for 80 seconds, you would be looking more at 15 maybe 30 seconds top. Otherwise it would make hex totem perks like devour extremely powerful.
The added bonus of my perk idea would be that it would also prevent survivors from using perks like Inner Strength, since they wouldn't be able to cleanse totems at the start of the game.
PS: mine would also give killers who can place traps time to get to their totems before a survivor can cleanse it.
I do get what you`re saying, i just dont like when things become "meta". personally i love playing different people with different builds, having every teachable makes the game more interesting but nothing is more boring than seeing the same killer with the same perks etc. Hex`s have never applied to me, at rank one they use to go fast or everyone could hit ruin so none was very effective. either idea is good tbh, yours allows them to know which is the hex but its blocked off for X seconds where as mine hides the hex for X seconds but can still be destroyed

Not going to lie, I like the idea of a perk like Corrupt but for totems. Basically:
All totems are blocked by The Entity for 40/60/80 seconds at the start of the Trial.
Survivors cannot cleanse the Totems for the duration [PERK NAME] is active.
It is a nice idea but that requires yet another perk slot to make hex`s useable which i feel is an issue, not to mention if you play a killer that can also trap the hex`s that timer is even longer as itd be trapped, youd also get lots of killers running devour, haunted ground etc. which in 80seconds i can get 2 hooks, so unless they get the right totem they will be exposed making it very easy. but if you use my idea the survivor cant see the hex for X seconds but appears as a dull totem for the duration so do they take the risk and leave it, or take time and destroy it sorta things. either way something should be done, i never see third seal, lullaby, devour etc. and with ruin change you probably wont see that much either
-
trapper and hag are my least favorite, like god damn keep those traps away from me! luckily hag moves slower or id loose my ######### haha, but i love going against most killers, none really frustrate me so as long as i see a range im happy. but going against myers, nurse, pig and plague is nice as i never see them much
-
no, obviously with every map rework or new map the dev`s do try to make totem spot better like the new lerys rework as mentioned but personally i think a change to make hex`s appear as a dull totem for X amount of seconds so people cant just run around looking for them would be a nice idea. would allow some hex`s to get used more as they require alot of time to get going which you cant normally achieve as the hex gets destroyed in early game
-
Id say slug all you want, i would suggest not slugging all 4 people at once. although that would be due to some of the survivors playing bad and its on them in reality but it is a game, people dont wanna be killed on first hook and i dont understand as a killer why youd want a game over so quickly, id say as soon as 2/3 are down start picking up and getting those hooks. having multiple people down/hooked is a great position to be in and can result in a fun game which you can get a bunch of BP while not making the game too boring for everyone.
-
Will hex`s get a rework? totem spawns have always been a difficult thing to control and for this reason killers tend not to run some of the other hex`s like third seal, lullaby etc. that tend to be destroyed before any sort of effect can take place making them useless 90% of the time which is a shame never to see them. maybe the lit totems can only be seen after X seconds allowing the perk to have a chance to get started, will also create another choice if a survivor should cleanse that dull totem encase its secretly a hex yet to be revealed

I don't know about that. Even a Commodious Toolbox with Socket Swivels and Instructions makes you repair 30% faster, and it'll typically last you the whole game (if your teammates are helping with gens). That'll bring a solo generator down to ~61.5 seconds. An Engineer's Toolbox will take it down further to ~57 seconds, though it'll run out much faster.
If you end up in a match with several toolboxes, that's a lot of time to knock off of your main objective. I wouldn't undersell how much they can do.
Im glad you understand and can see the issues that toolboxes can bring, even more so when 3/4 can be active within a trial and even be found commonly in chests. I feel a similar tweak like the medkits got would be the best way forward, so reduce the repair speeds for each one and make the sabotage speed/efficiency higher. this would make them more balanced yet still providing a good use for them, i feel the sabotaging hooks is a dead play style yet is a very fun one to play and even go against.
-
he`s a very strong killer if you know how to play him, i can get to rank 1 pretty easy with him before this weird rank change. but his speed and 0 terror radius while cloaked makes him a good threat with gen pressure. he also earns BP in all sections easily so thats a good positive not to be punished by using his ability

Devs:Survivors playing strategic u definetely are killer bases. We dont want survs to improve
funny thing is i play more survivor than killer, honestly i dont understand what the dev`s want as a balance. iv heard killers should be aiming for a 2k and honestly if thats the case its gonna be a sad time for everyone, survivor games will get boring and killer games less rewarding, a good killer with a good build and amazing reads/plays should get the 4k not feel like no matter how well they play they cant achieve that... ngl kinda looking forward to leading on chases and having my team do the gens aha
-
this was my main suggestion, bit lengthy but any support on the post in the feedback and suggestions might help them see it and respond but i feel no one really goes through there.
First suggestion which is the biggest is the ability to sell items, add-ons and offerings. i know its a concern players might try to use this to boost certain characters up however with all the new characters in the game and their perks grinding the perks you want is going to get longer which has also been a concern and i feel having this will allow people to get BP`s back from items etc. they would not use such as these numbers:
- Common = costs 3k BP (can sell for 800 BP)
- Uncommon = costs 4k BP (can sell for 1,000 BP)
- Rare = costs 5k BP (can sell for 1,250 BP)
- very rare = costs 6k BP (can sell for 1,500 BP)
- Ultra rare = costs 7k BP (can sell for 2,000 BP)
With these numbers spending 1,000,000 BP on a new character getting to level 30 and then selling every single item,add-on,offering would only return about 130,000BP due to the perks you brought. this is by selling everything however if people was to keep so many add-ons etc. the returns are even smaller but would allow people to sell the items they will never use (which is alot to me due to buying every character and survivor i have so many items ill never use but am still missing loads of perks for each character).

They say they do, but not much comes from it action wise so I am not sure I believe it.
When we asked if we could have an indicator if it's been read or even better forwarded to the actual team, they say that their forums can't do that. So many other forums do from other game devs, so I find that so odd.
I dunno, but anytime I see actually good and fair points about issues they get ignored, all devs seem to respond to are things like "What's your favorite build for X or Y?" and "What is the best build for ____?". I mean those and like, outrage threads, because that is what you want to do fuel that fire instead of actually helping the polite ones.
i do notice alot of the posts like that get dev attention which is fair enough they get involved but id also like them to look into some of the more serious suggestions, i know alot of post tend to be more about complaining than balance or improving the game in general
-
Okay thanks for the replies, i wasnt sure as alot of the other posts there seem a little over the top and come across as more moaning than balanced or new suggestions like i was trying to create, so hopefully they do check out my suggestions, theyre only a few as i didnt wanna list tweaks on each of the less used perks and seem like a know it haha, just wanted to share my store idea and if its a possibility
-
Not sure if interested but i had the game since console release, i use to be a killer main and have been rank 1 both killer and survivor each season for a long time now, however more and more i tend to play less killer now and more survivor, this isnt due to the ruin change however as although i think ruin did need a slight change i feel they went the wrong way with it and instead wasted a cool idea for a new perk and made generators very easy to complete even though i can hit greats 90% but id say killer im purple ranks now due to lack of play but iv never used ruin and i could get to rank 1 again as more survivors are getting to red ranks, the reason i changed to survivor is it was more fun, the consistency of fun and enjoyable games i had as survivor was alot higher than killer, its not that i dont enjoy killer because i do but there are some games no matter how well you play it feels like a lost cause and more stressful than fun, obviously this changes due to 4man SWF and the killer i decide to play... Age 18-25

Eh not really fair to say. I remember when I started playing survivor, the grind was brutal. I died almost every game and hovered at like rank 15-17 for a bit. Hex checks were impossible, I didn’t know maps or loops, and couldn’t outrun the killer at all. There’s a lot to learn as survivor, and I continue to learn.
I also play killer and no shade, I didn’t have to grind much at all to start doing well and getting 4K games. Plus I ranked up much much faster.
so get the totem, iv never quite understood why people moaned so much about it, i know not everyone can get great everytime but there are multiple perks to help find totems and even maps can find them, they also arent hard to find. but what youre saying is you cant hit greats, lead on a good chase or escape but you expect to rank up? that doesnt make much sense, those are the areas you need to learn and improve on to make you a better survivor, theres no point in rank and if you cant do those thing because youre new its best to learn in the lower ranks than against rank 1`s. it was also used to slow the game down at game start, it was OP against new players but it needed a tweak not removing its difficulty to make the game more bland and easy
-
will be alot easier when ruin changes though, also swf is much easier too. i did mine solo though so i understand the frustration it is by far the hardest challenge even more so if youre unlucky with your team like me or are the one normally leading on most chases. having said all that id say wait till ruin change (21st) and the run dark sense, prove thyself, better together and streetwise, bring in a toolbox that has tremendously increases repair with 30+charges and moderately increased repair and stick on the offering to spawn with someone or everyone and youll do it easy
-
@johnmwarner said:
please yes! I know the numbers would need reviewed but something like this would be great. Even if they put a limit on it per day or week I would appreciate getting anything out of my mists or other useless addons
As long as the numbers are decent enough thats fine, i dont want huge amount of BP back because then there is no point in the rng bloodwebs which is a nice feature, i just wanna gain some use from the items etc. ill never use by gaining very few BP allowing me to unlock the 5 nearly 6 pages of perks for everyone. Having said that though with the numbers i provided if you spent 1,000,000 BP on nothing but items,add-ons and offerings and then sold them all back you would at most gain 285,000 BP back, i say at most because its impossible to achieve that without spend that 1mil on nothing but ultra rares, so with my values on average of 1,000,000 BP spent on items youll get about 200,000-250,000 which is only 20-25% of what you spent
-
wait are you seriously crying for more survivor buffs? its already easy enough as a survivor without the need for all these buffs, obviously you shouldnt be at the rank youre at if youre struggling that much. you should never worry about rank or even escaping, i have never gone into a game expecting to escape... then again i have played since console release so maybe you just arent use to the idea of a killer killing people, honestly id say calm down, if i can sit at rank 1 without a single care if i escape or my rank without the need of perks there doesnt need to be buffs. i purposefully do solo because i want games to be different and a challenge, doing SWF ruins alot of the fun as it becomes way too easy and the killer is lucky to get a kill. just accept a loss,death,de-pip or whatever it really doesnt matter in the end but the more you wanna "buff" survivors because youre dying the longer your wait times will be as why would killers wanna play when they cant get a kill?
-
that last perk is a very strong perk and would require some sort of balance to it, i could easily just use that perk on wraith with BBQ and chilli and pretty much end the game from the first hook as they wouldnt be able to do much about it. you also have to remember the pig perk (make your choice) which does this effect but only the the rescuer and if youre so far away, which as you can see has two balance features such as it affects only the savior and require you to be so far away. should always think about balance aspects if you want your ideas to appeal to more players. also you should include some lore, that can really build a character idea
-
so everything about him is better except for one thing, the cooldown which alot of people moan about doesnt actually matter if you hit the person with your shock therapy, you can swing before they can interact with pallets/vaults. as for the slight delay on the shock therapy its self this is actually a buff as it allows you to force the survivor to get shocked so they cant run the loop and drop the pallet or they can avoid the shock and lose distance and get hit anyway on the shorter loops. so overall the new doctor is better in everyway except the snap out of it, snapping out of it should reset if you stop doing the action. the reason behind this not only does it force survivors to play more strategic but also stop the ability to tap through the snap out action (okay not a huge thing) but if you run unnerving or a harder skill check build etc. you can just by pass the snap out skill checks by tapping which leads survivors to waste less time because they can technically "cheat" the system
-
@Jukantos said:
At this point the "Drop 4 pallets that stun the killer" quest might as well just be a "Take 4 hits through pallets" quest. Because you know... with the dedicated servers every time you get a pallet stun it's also a guaranteed hit. So trust me, you DONT want THESE dedicated servers on console. You REALLY REALLY dont.
i have games where you cannot move, every freezes then turns out you and someone else got downed and hooked while you just sat at a frozen screen, sure its not every game but its common to get hit when you shouldnt, rubber band or just have general lag throughout the game, hell even 150ping every game would be acceptable as a standard
-
depends how the games going, have to remember the game is in survivors favor, especially on some maps and even worse with some add-ons, if youre doing really well kick back and just have some fun same as if someone DCs or something, you dont need to let one go thats up to you. but personally i wont double hook someone or stay near the hook unless im chasing someone there and if i see them save ill get the person who got the save. obviously if theyre being toxic or doing really well i will play how i have to if that means slugging so be it, gens are easy to do, even more so with toolboxes and huge map designs
-
Im on console and getting dedicated servers would just improve the game, like damn i never knew so many people could have as bad connection as they do. on pc i know the average game connection isnt as bad but dude on console youd think people are all playing in mc donalds, if i could have 100ping each game id be a happy man, plus id like to have the dc penalty in already.
-
you may find ways to avoid the ban but you cannot avoid how pathetic you look when you do so...
-
You could just run a quick KYF to find out the distance, or compare it to the killer terror radius when you play survivor. thing to remember is on smaller or multi floored maps whispers can be difficult and the idea hooked survivors also trigger it makes it less useful compared to other tracking perks tbh

Undeserved? Oh you mean the stuff the devs put in the game for killers to use to kill survivors and have the good ones fall back?
well not only that at red ranks using insane add-ons to either end chases fast or kill someone fast like iri hatchets, mori`s etc. you get far less points and are less likely to even pip, people shouldnt complain about NOED, i get mori`s because theyre kinda broken but so are keys, but noed you had plenty of time to get those totems if you wanted and if you all get slugged by noed then you wasnt playing smart and thats on you not the killer perks
-
the reason killers have the ability to lobby dodge is because they are meant to be allowed to adjust their loadout to count what the survivors are doing/bringing in. since the survivors are already the power roll i see thats a fair thing to give them, should lobby dodging be allowed at all? no. but if you see a swf with 4 toolboxes everyone knows the killer is having a tough game at red ranks, to me it sounds like youre a try hard red rank who isnt as good as he thinks he is and seems so focused on rank/escaping which is your downfall. whether i have team`s that cant hit ruin or lead on chases i can remain rank 1 and still have a laugh/fun as a solo, take it with a grain of salt you cant always escape/have easy games

and I don't care if I pip if I don't enjoy the game. If the game is miserable and boring to play I'm not going to keep doing it. I can pip in almost every game but it will still take a bunch of games to get low enough rank to matter. Even then, red rank players are still getting paired with ranks 12+. The matchmaking is bad and needs to be fixed
as for this, yeah red ranks shouldnt be with green, but thats due to long lobby times, like i said i have had purple and green and im a rank 1 survivor but i just play the game. if alot of red rank 1 see a purple rank they would just back out even though they was only rank 3 themselves, the matchmaking needs work, not the ability to see the ranks...

People like me are just going to stop playing the game regardless. If those players get into lobbies and all their teammates are bad in their eyes and they can't do anything to avoid them, they will just quit the game. That's what I'm doing until they do something about matchmaking. I physically can't enjoy the game atm. It's constantly a 1v4 or 2v3 game for me. It's a really stupid system. They just need to add crossplay and add something like a range of players that you don't want to play with. For example, red ranks could choose to only play with purple and red ranks as an option in the settings. You won't know what rank those players are, but you at least know you are getting decently good players. Ranks 16-20 should be exclusively for new players and it should be impossible for anyone to ever drop down that low after reaching rank 15 (including rank reset and DC's/etc). No other successful multiplayer game forces people with hundreds or thousands of hours to play with new players.
well you can only derank past 15 by rank reset other than that its not possible, and if you quit because your team isnt the best then maybe you should stop playing tbh, its a game and you cant be mad at people struggling, while yes there should be limits even with SWF that say you cannot play with anyone so many ranks away from you. but iv had games against rank 2 killers with a rank 12 and two rank 8`s. did they do amazing? no, pretty bad but that doesnt stop me from doing what i can do. i feel like youre expecting to escape every game, i never expect to escape all i do is hope for a decent chase and thats on me, my team wont affect that, run the killer for 3mins and no gens get done because of ruin? okay after i get off the hook ill get ruin. if escaping and ranking up is so important to you over just playing, play COD or something

I personally agree with you - Rank is meaningless insofar as exact skill (relative skill I do think has some merit in looking at rank). That being said, I’ve definitely been yelled at postgame for being a boosted survivor if I have a bad game and my color is anything higher than green, so some people definitely hold stock in it.
the people who have ago at you endgame or anything are the toxic half of this community which is sad, i did write a full comment to someone else but for some reason it didnt post but the idea is as long as everyone in your team is doing something the game will go fine. i know im a good survivor, by no means am i the best but i can loop really well and hit ruin but that isnt needed to be a red rank survivor, before the change iv had red ranks that cant hit ruin and others that cant lead a chase. but the game is a team game, its why if someone DCs or struggles on first hook escaping is a hard task no mater how amazing the other 3 are. overall have fun and play, try your best but dont worry about it, the more you play the better everyone will get and it makes the game more fun when everyone isnt so good the killer dont have a chance. but i had a hag,doc and huntress today as rank 2, dude i havent seen a those in ages! before all it use to be was spirit, freddy, ghostface so this new change iv actually really enjoyed seeing some of the less popular killers get played
-
Ruin shouldnt be nerfed at all, im rank one and i still get team mates that cant hit ruin and if that happens just get the totem thats what i have to do or ill end up doing 3 gens solo before anyone else does one, the perk is fine as it is. the spawns arent hard to find and you can hit great skill checks, if both of those are too hard or seem a challenge then there is what you can improve on instead of moaning about your team. my advice is to do gens with ruin, if your team are struggling get the totem, and if you cant find it then you can learn to tiles, spawns and even help with loops. at red ranks without ruin the killer has lost simple as, sure sometimes they can do well but thats just bad survivors or lucky map but when you get a full team who can just hit great skill checks then damn those gen`s fly bye and thats why killers run it, the chases survivors want with the loops to have fun but not wanting longer gens so the killer can spare the time to chase is the issue.
-
please dont add it back, do you know how many sweat lobby dodge if everyone isnt red ranks, i didnt wait ages to get into a lobby for people to all quit out because there are people lower than their ranks. no matter how bad your team is as long as they dont quit or kill themself on first hook you can pip. but honestly the DC and the people who kill themself on hook is what ruins this game, such a common thing in red ranks because people cant stand to see they got hooked first or got out played
-
just clip it and submit it for a ticket, it breaks the game rules. the more people do it the faster the ban will happen. personally im not sure why the devs havent fixed in a timer to kick people for being afk

We can assume that they use data from those ranks to justify certain adjustments in addition to data from lower ranks.
Ranks don't matter, but the data the devs use makes it matter more than it ought to.
before the rank change the look at purple i think (that sort of mark) but if they balance for how red rank is now that`d be fine tbh, survivors i feel are so use to escaping or having all good teams but it shouldnt be like that. iv been rank 1 killer and survivor since release, sure alot has changed but its the same concept, this rank hasnt affected me, i still get teams that cant do ruin or even lead on a huge chase, before this reply a teammate got gen grabbed in the first few seconds but we still did good. it should be more about everyone enjoying the game having a chance as either side which i feel wasnt the case before at red rank and killer was far harder, by no means do i main killer probably 15% time is spent as killer before this change i just know the game was very survivor sided so having these new people who may not be the best as killer/survivor are welcome, they make the game more challenging and different IMO.

This scenario is only going to get worse as the months go on.
Your rank is only going to reset to purple at the reset... along with everyone else's.
Soon, I really believe that the bulk of players will be ranked at higher ranks regardless of their actual skill level.
Then using this "Red Ranks" population, the devs will start to use this data to balance "high ranks" while ignoring the fact that they've contaminated the data for their intended purpose... or maybe it's deliberate.. who knows.
I believe ranks are meaningless, and this is only going to make that statement even more true.
Dev`s dont balance at red ranks as it is so it wouldnt change anything balance wise, its why the old red ranks was harder as killer and easier as survivor. the game should be more chill and people nee to stop worrying about ranks tbh
-
stop complaining? what does rank matter? no one is expecting you to be a god, a strong survivor team is simply people who do gen`s and heal each other, just lead on a little chase which really isnt too hard. its all about wasting the killers time and thats it, as long as you dont rage quit etc. then its fine, if youre at red ranks you know the basics of how to survive, do gens and run from a killer. having a mixture of skills in a survivor team also makes it more fair on all killers, im actually seeing a range of killer at rank one instead of the same 2 types of killers which btw is boring as hell so its nice to see. i dont care if my team cant hit ruin or lead on the best chases, i just wanna have games and have fun which is what the game should be not something so competitive..

I don't know about chill I probably get just as irritated with most of the survivors I play with as any killer would.
It's even worse lately - just cannot put me finger on it. :/
Survivor is very chill compared to killer, but it does make killer easier due to more players in the lower ranks meaning those really good survivors are split up more often unless SWF but SWF has always been broken. personally i like it this way but now they just need to fix the DCs and people killing themselves on first hook and ill be happy as thats what ruins the game most for me, not a team that isnt the strongest.

Because its a title, if you wanna keep that title play well i guess... but in all honesty survivor is very easy to safety pip if not pip/double pip, the only time i lose my rank 1 will be due to spawning near killer and being mori`d straight off the hook or the killer DCs before i can earn enough points in all categories but the next game i just pip again. it really doesnt mean anything at all though, rank means nothing at all, i see many red rank survivors that dont even know some of the basics
having said that i much prefer this way, its nice to know youre capable to maintain that rank no matter the killer, perks or map. but dont get hung up on ranks, for me the worst thing in this game are double pip`s even more so as killer. but survivor is pretty chill at red ranks

If you quit for any other reason than an actual bug or glitch then you deserve the ban, simple as that. youre ruining the game for so many others, you can say you payed for it and deserve to do what you like but so did those other 4 people who now dont even have a choice, play the game for the game regardless of map, killer, offerings, how well your start was etc. that goes for both killer and survivor. Admittedly its worse hen new challenges come out but its kind pathetic if you quit due to going down or being outplayed...

there are alot of pallets however the loops near the pallets are very short so you can actually bait them to vault over them again getting easy hits, or even hit them as theyre dropping it. i think people call them unsafe loops or something because you cant just keep running around and around as many times as you can with the longer walls with a pallet, tough map for trapper though, amazing for hag

You seem a little worked up. Maybe you should take a break? Play some Civ 5, perhaps?
nah just bored tbh, whats the point in playing the game half the time if people always DC, i dont really care if they arent having a great game or something, stick it out things can change but having 3v1 or even 2v1 or a killer quitting early on to then have to wait in a lobby again for more DCs to happen. im only playing the game to finish my rift which drags if i spent more time on lobby times and loading screens than i do in game

See, this is the reason DC penalties will exist. If you don’t want to play DBD then don’t play DBD, simple.
If you choose to play DBD but decide that playin against spirit isn’t fun, or seeing ruin is unfun, or being the first one found and hooked is a reason to DC you are affecting four other people just for yourself.
Sorry, that kind of attitude belongs in a PVE, single player game.
Second that, if you dont wanna play dont play, you cant expect to only play against a few killers with a few perks and only on certain maps. the more you play on them the better you will get

I assume you are talking about the video unlocked in level 3 of the Tome, not 4. Basically, the cutscene shows Evan dreaming of seeing his father beating an old guy and the mine collapsing afterwards. He then wakes up to show his bandaged fist. Its implying Evan was beating up his father outside the mine entrance and the mine collapsed afterwards with everyone inside (intentionally).
yeah probably was level 3, i waited till i had completed everything to really give them a good look, and thankyou for helping me understand i was kinda confused but that makes more sense now!

Once the bugs and load screen crashes are fixed to not count as DC I agree.
People who threaten, “if you ban players they’ll find another game,” to them I say GREAT.
Id rather the game have 100K players that stick it out and not 300K players where half of them DC first time they get hit or if they hear the Nurse sound.
Yeah true, i do wonder how many people quit and lie about the game crashing or something else tbh, people use to do that often with other games so if they can get it so actual Quits get punished hell to the yes! id say about 90% of my games have a DC in, i know people wanna do challenges but damn dont rage quit and ruin everyones game. i did dark senses even though i spawned near the killer and was hooked first, even the first gen popped but i didnt DC and i actually got it. the games meant to be fun, for all people and it shouldnt be ruined by people who quit tbh
