My chance of mercy increases exponentially if I have (close to) max deviousness. Because then it feels like I am sacrificing for just a couple hundred points.
Otherwise I don’t go super out of my way to let them go. I don’t like to slug for the 4k. I just go with chance to see if I find hatch before the last player.
No big deal either way.

I can't remember but doesn't early levels give like 50 shards until like lvl30? Then iirc 150 to like lvl60 then I can't remember but probably like 300 from there so add it up.
50 x 30 = 1500
150 x 30 = 4500
300 x 39 = 11700
This is not accurate btw just an estimate.
But going from there it should take you around 1 devotion before buying a 21k skin.
Edit: forgot that from 99-0 is one level so 12k instead of 11700
I remember doing the math of level one to ninety nine and its about 26,000 shards.

On average, how long do you think it takes for a person to go from 0 to 10,000 shards? How about from 10,000 to 21,600 shards?
I am currently thinking that with the old prices for this event, newer players/ possible returning players couldn’t really have gotten even 1 full skin (worse for PS4). Am I wrong?
About 60 hours for 10,000 shards.
-
I think this is a great question
-
Figured they just needed to give away shards. Solves the Ghostface problem.
-
I swear by gen portals on Demo. It extends the generators from 80 seconds to 95~ or you get free surveillance.
-
There might be. Only seen a leak about this and last year there was a 25% discount on the 2018 blights. Fingers crossed.
The only other thread I saw on this question was impolite anyways tbh.
-
I missed the first Tome since I switched to PC during the second. I might end up buying her blight. Really shows the value of the rift :(
-
I was looking forward to this as well.
-
There were plenty of perks that were green/purple/purple so all of those got cheaper. Now what?
-
Hahaha 👍
-
Gen speed? Hahaha 👍

What are the other two?
One of the other four is seeing your enemies crushed before you. Preferably by chainsaw.

Hillbilly cross map snipes are one of the three best things in life.

This was an issue with one of the last patches. I wish I remembered the fix but Peanits put it as a banner on the forum during that time as it was a universal fix.

We don’t know whether we can earn them yet.

Even though his power relies on the survivor making a mistake? A good survivor WILL be able to dodge his attack because of his big red light on the ground.
”Making a mistake” applies to every killer but Nurse.
-
I plan on machine gun using his attack now. I consider this a balanced adjustment that puts his power more in line with Huntress. Good move.
-
Is it a bug or a feature?
Also do you mean you can hear her cries/moans while she phases?
-
Maybe they’ll release secondary versions for killers who already got them next year too.

It really fits on GF now. I had so many situations when I fully marked a surv that repairing a gen and he's sprint burst away. And now you have more chances to down survs faster
Yes! I was think it’d be a great perk on Ghostface/Wraith/Stealth killers on release but it was a bit too weak.
Maybe Ruin, Undying, Mindbreaker, BBQ would make a good build.
-
If your game is ‘crashing’ or your internet cuts out a lot then most likely the DC penalty is for you bud.

its a 16 meters radius for 10 seconds when not in a chase and no other survivors are within the 16 meters radius
Right! The emblem penalty also doubles within eight meters.

I main him. Don’t have any issues playing him post nerf. So many of his old builds are still available: drift king, double engravings, silent billy (massively buffed). Even his charge time addons are still available but the 4.4 m/s ruins him on a couple of maps.
I got all his perks unlocked recently and been stocking up addons.

He had the Anniversary cosmetic a couple months back. They will come.
-
I have a great time playing killer. The SWF excuse is overrated.
-
Haddonfield fences are such annoyance to deal with. I don’t mind the house of pain. Once the pallets gone it’s not so bad.
-
It seems to me the definition for god windows has loosened quite a bit. My DBD age is showing.
I think the only loop that a good survivor cannot be caught at is Crotus Penn Asylum.
The others the loops are complex but can be countered with map knowledge.

There's still some infinite windows around. Grim Pantry, Ormond, Disturbed Ward, Father Campbells Chapel, Haddonfield, and Rancid Abattoir all have god windows still. There's probably a few more but those are off the top of my head.
Dead Dawg also has a borderline infinite loop with balanced landing. Anytime someone offers dead dawg and I see them sitting at that loop I just facecamp the entire lobby because I instantly know why I have been sent there.

If any of you know how to play survivor decently you all know the need to bring ds into the match. Its not for being toxic or overpowering, but because if you loop well and run for distance for a couple of gens. Some killer gets this feeling since he invested so much time for a single down he should be rewarded the kill so he'll camp or tunnel that why I believe ds is a necessary perk to run.
Yes I know it can be use badly like running to a gen and doing it which makes me a bit trigger but its a bad waste of a perk for the 5 second stun to do that.
Finally the unbreakable and ds combo i don't really see this combo it never really triggers me because I always try to avoid the unhooked survivor and allowed them to heal. If I find them later with another survivor who's healing ill go for the healer and if alone ill go for them and accept the ds cause its not much of a bother.
I only wanted to placing my thoughts into the forum of how I felt about ds
I am also a DS sympathizer and I play a lot of red rank killer. I rarely give survivors even the chance to use these perks. It’s always an “oh, that’s nice” when looking at the end game screens.
-
The only BS loop that comes to mind is Crotus Penn Asylum has a god loop window. Other than that I think loops are fine.
It sounds like OP is talking about tile spacing and probably the middle of Suffocation Pit. I do not think there’s anything wrong with this map considering how much weaker the rest of the map is.

It's a bizarre phenomenon. I've played with people who said "This killer is so baaaaad!" when we were behind by 4 gens and 5 hooks.
It's a defense mechanism? And of course it all comes crashing down when they get outplayed.
Rewatching twitch games against me as killer I’ve witnessed this same kind of thinking. Hearing four voices saying I was playing terrible. It was great as they slowly realized that they were losing the match.
I was probably ten out of their eleven views on the twitch vod and my favorite parts were when the inevitable dawned on them and when they determined I was toxic.
-
Don’t use static blast at the beginning of a match until you find a generator that’s been partially worked on.
I think the static attack is better after a pallet is thrown. You can lock a survivor into a spot. Using it at a loop before the pallets thrown slows down the Doctor too much making certain loops last longer than needed.
-
Very thoughtful. Much informative. Many wow.

You're kidding right? [x] is trash tier compared to [y].
No way, man! The first album is waay better than the first album!
-
I don't think they're OP.
What about [insert x]? Now that's OP.
-
Do not DC if you do not want the DC penalty. Life happens. If life happens you probably will not care about a DC penalty.
Saying DC penalties are only for one side is incredibly biased. Killers have taken a lot of fun out of matches from me as well playing survivor because they made a bad play or are ashamed that someone else made a good play.
-
Yes, shame he’s not more popular.

bbq, monitor, pop, stbfl with the same add one
This is my build as well. BBQ and PGTW are must start perks for most killers. Then pick two of STBFL, M&A, and Nurse's Calling.
I personally do not think that Ruin is a good perk on Deathslinger since the survivors are less likely to scare off a gen from a distance like other killers with a naturally larger terror radius.
-
I haven’t played today yet but if this is true I’m going to be upsetti spaghetti. But most likely:
No.
-
“Are you saying.. I was being naughty?”
-
I am prestiging him now. I am leaning towards S tier, although there are times I just don’t want to deal with playing him. He is certainly A tier.
The last four killers have been really strong.
-
I have yet to be able to clearly identify a cheating killer. Only the brazen survivors are noticeable, but I’ve watched hacking survivors that the killer never noticed.

Sometimes it’s just a tiresome, mentally draining part of the game.
It is the game. Maybe take a break when feeling like that. Losing really badly because you just don’t participate in basics and ignore fundamentals is not going to relax you as killer.
-
Learning the ins and outs of your power takes time and a lot of failure. Just keep playing as well as you implying you’re playing and hopefully the killers who inspired this post learn from it.

It seems like most Killers don’t like good old fashioned looping anymore. They’ll leave you at the drop of a hat if you’re playing good and camp you like crazy if they can tell you’re playing bad.
Killers with anti-loop spam that stuff so hard it’s like they’re allergic to looping normally. Huntress, Doctor, Pyramid, Freddy and Billy players will go around and around for ages trying to use their power, when they could’ve just looped the standard way, ate the pallet and moved on. It’s actually crazy.
Are most Killers unconfident and rusty with their traditional looping now or what?
-
Spirit and Freddy have issues in their base kits.
