“Winning solves all problems.”

I know it only a 24 hour trial this time but isn't MMR going to be permanent at some point?
Yes, they want to reset ranks to twenty with bloodpoint awards. So they need a MMR that works without considering ranks.
Thats why this is an actual problem that needs addressing. They’ve messed up Hillbilly in both MMR test runs.
-
Merciless is double pipping. If you didn’t double pip, you didn’t earn the adept.
-
No. Can’t play Hillbilly.
-
I had the same issue with playing Hillbilly on PC. The queues were extremely long compared to other killers (four minutes without a lobby for Hillbilly vs less than ten seconds on another killer I do well with).
Hillbilly was having a lot of match making issues on their first MMR attempt half a year ago. I think they just haven’t figured out how to incorporate one hit down killers.
-
Try switching to another killer. My Hillbilly is in purgatory. Not enough players on my MMR level or something.

Pretty much. Queue times aren't too bad for me at the moment but last time they were horrible, I was like you basically locked out of my favourite killers. It might finally be the nail in the coffin of the game for me.
Even when I got a lobby, it was one person. Wait ninety seconds, a second survivor joins. Twenty seconds later one leaves.
Dead end. I thought MMR would give me more fair matches, not Purgatory.
-
Well, I guess the info to take away from this is I play Hillbilly competently, therefore I cannot play him anymore. This is truly a bummer.
-
And again. Three minutes, twenty seconds; no lobby for Hillbilly.
Deathslinger, nine seconds. Lobby.
-
I just did it again with a timer. I waited four minutes on Hillbilly with no lobby. Switch to Deathslinger, just another killer I don't mind playing: seven second queue.
-
I am really suspicious that this new MMR is catching derankers off guard.
-
Wut
-
It’s a passive ability so you as killer never really feel like it’s doing anything but it does. It’s why Freddy is so strong is he has multiple (like five) passive abilities.
-
It’s about the points or I’d switch to a different tracking perk.
-
I use BBQ, Corrupt Int, M&A, Whispers. Works really well. Especially if they don’t cleanse

Well the Rift is time consuming :
1 level = 10 Tiers
1 Tier = 800 XP
1 game of 10 minutes = 500 XP
In order to level up once per day you need 8000 XP.
Playing each side get you a bonus of 300 XP.
So after 2 games you did 2 Tiers, 6 more to go (6400 XP) or 12.8 game (13).
That make 15 games per day to level up. If 1 game is 10 min, it's 150 min worth of time, so 2.5 hours. And that's without counting the wait time between games.
BUT
If you do all challenges, you get on average enough to level up 12-13 levels per part of the Tome, so between 48-52 levels (calculated with the Rift fragment you get + the time number of game ( so XP you gain ) needed to complete the challenge )
That means that outside challenges, you need to complete by yourself ~20 levels
If I remember right it’s one XP/second for the first ten minutes of a match. Which you say something similar in your response. That’s 600 XP a match and most my matches are about fifteen minutes.
That should adjust the calculations above by a bit.
-
I’m level 61 right now 🤷♂️
-
Strafing to where you want to be is the key to demon dash
-
Of the three’s teachables: Spirit Fury is the best perk, especially mixed with Enduring from Hillbilly.
Spirit is also the best killer of the three. I recommend if we’re only getting one, then this one. She was also featured in Tome 2 so some challenges to look forward to as well.
Next in viability is Deathslinger. Funnily enough, Spirit and D-slinger are amongst the most complained about killers in the game.
Legion, I would do last of these choices. I enjoy playing them and won a lot with them but just prefer the first two more.
-
I never had issues hitting Demon Strikes with Oni on PS4. It was a common complaint too but the direction you turn while dashing (strafing) makes a big difference
-
Thanks again. Do you know how points this’ll be?
-
Cancel BBQ
-
Tuchus
-
Yeah, silly complaint since NOEDs not even a good perk
-
One tracking perk, two chase perks, and one gen regression perk is the meta.

There is honor in being a martyr.

Am I the only one whom would run the killer for like 3 or 4 gens and then be downed after the last gen... proceed to die on hook, whilst a Nea tbag the exit gates with 10k blood points.
no one else just me ?
ok 😂

This is the PTB. Killers who do not perform well in the PTB have traditionally been buffed by release.
Also, Pigs perception as a weak killer for so long shows what the hivemind community knows about what a good or bad killer is.
It’s too soon to judge. Especially this harshly.

Survivors can be caught at those loops, but I agree they’re strong.

@Tricks said:
I've been teleporting THROUGH pallets to the other side with the Surivivor after they've been dropped on me lately. I've seen this happen as a Survivor as well.
I’ve gotten quite a few downs from this because of Enduring. When the killer ends up on the same side as the survivor, they instinctively vault it. With enduring I can swing pretty much instantly and down/grab the survivor.
-
Deathslinger handles short loops better then Huntress and actually pretty much all loops better than Huntress. Since he just shoots as soon as they want, the antiloop mechanics are just far superior to Huntress. Huntress also has to leave chases to reload. Deathslinger slows down just a bit but keeps going.

Those "change my mind" posts are among the most lazy discussions. The poster mostly provide nothing of their viewpoint or standing on the matter except a single absolut statement. They just want to be a reactive part of the discussion, without preparing any arguments themselves and just disregard many comments going against and compliment statements going along with their opinion.
Not mostly. The OP provided nothing.
-
No killer who wins a trial gets ‘bullied’ by survivors. My feeling is that this thread is more about people being upset about ‘losing’ than whatever bullying would be defined as.
-
Two issues:
- It plans for failure. Perks that help win a match before gens are completed are better.
- Same issue as Rancor. It has a gens completed condition so if the killer does play well and closes hatch, it does not activate.
-
They said it was a proposal and wouldn’t release with the DS change. I’d guess the next mid-patch.
-
Yeah, this was the only announced perk change to not go live.
-
To build on OP’s post, the new Wraith movement speed is 6.0 m/s.
Windstorm values: Uncommon is 6.3 m/s, rare is 6.4 m/s, and very rare is 6.5 m/s.
-
Buff Hillbilly

I agree with True, when his argument is reduced to his premises. When his arguments are generalized, Otz’s POV makes more sense.

Could you please provide a source?
I suppose I am the source. Survivors leave lobbies frequently.
-
Yeah, once you click survivor or killer the player can’t adjust the crossplay. Like Spirez said, just back out and you can then.
-
Next chapter bud. I’m looking forward to it.
-
Survivors dodge killer lobbies because they readied up faster than them. Some players are scared of weird things and the sense of challenge.

Yea thats why at least half of the killers take it xD
Rank up, bud. You’ll see it less and less.
-
NOED isn’t even a good perk
-
I don’t think a macro is necessary to achieve this effect. I’ve heard a similar macro discussion about Hag and it doesn’t make sense to me to go that far to accomplish such a basic action.
-
Bad idea imo. Higher information in game is what’s needed and the new UI does that.
-
I’m okay with the changes, but would’ve preferred it being more openly communicated. There are killers who are still playing around the idea it’s hidden when it’s not.
-
There’s no time to discuss. Do gens.
-
I think in the post-map rework era, a nerf was justified. He was a king during an age of absolute bonkers imbalance. Insta heals, god windows, pre-nerfed toolboxes, etc.
I still flip back and forth on whether it was too much. His addons are just not that good. That’s my primary gripe.
He still wrecks teams, but can be wrecked. My main issue when I lose with him is going for chainsaws at loops too often. Which is what makes him exciting even now: The chance to hit an unexpected chainsaw.
My favorite is chainsawing at a T&L loop.

I consider the map survivor sided. Nurse is probably the only killer that can take advantage of its smaller size.
