Freddy deserves to be nerfed.
Hillbilly deserves to be buffed.
-
Because the intent of the game is to reward (high) rank resets with bloodpoints and base match making on a hidden skill formula instead of rank.
Someone trying to fool that system will receive very little benefit.
Reading the last paragraph - these players can be reported for refusing to participate in normal gameplay.
-
I like prestiging all characters. I never go past level fifty if I intend to prestige them. The bloodpoints spent to get a better perk could’ve been used on the next prestige level.
The only time I considered going past was for BBQ but after doing some math I realized that too wasn’t worth the bloodpoints.
So my advise OP - Stop where you are. Burn through all Survivor Puddings and BPS. Then prestige no matter how many (few) bloodpoints you have. Use other built up characters to get them to the next fifty then rinse repeat.
-
I P3 my characters one at a time because when you’re at the point I am it’s incredibly difficult to get the perks you want (BBQ/WGLF) on each new Prestige round. But the advantage is I had my favorite perks unlocked on most my already P3’d characters. So can use my favorite characters with favorite perks to grind out the others.
Eventually they’re all built up.
Thats only if presaging is important to the player.
-
I've been playing him today. I think he's in a good spot.
-
-
I think this combo is great. Hope to see more interesting builds.
-
I always cleanse. You can still loop a corrupt purge Plague and hide behind obstacles, but more importantly you get bloodpoints.
-
Making him 115 would encourage players not to use his ability. It’s why Nurse is 97% movement speed.

Honestly I was a firm believer that basekit ricochet wouldn't really solve any of his issues but I think it could actually make him playable on a lot more tiles with the speed buffs. That's if they want to go further in the direction of making him a better 1v1 killer, which I'm not sure is the play.
Main Event definitely needs changed still.
I haven’t tried the new Trickster but basekit (one ricochet) was my chosen buff as well. The very rare addon still adds a second ricochet to the attack.

You mean the day when no one knew how to go against him?
It took me ten plus tries and his chaser was bugged. You lot that are working on it now have it ez.
-
I got Tricksters adept the first day. It’s doable.
I wonder if players forget but many of the adepts are challenging. Oni took me f o r e v e r and he’s a high level killer.
It usually takes multiple tries. It’s not just Trickster.
-
Sounds like Hillbilly won’t have any issues with Lucky Break.
-
The thing about the Object change is the survivor can no longer hide/look away. Killer will always have a blip on them. Fits the name nicely.
-
I think Nurse and Spirit are top two ranked killers because they’re the two killers that can be largely unaffected by DS. The queens of tunneling in the right hands.
-
I went ahead and bought him / prestiged him. But he’s retired til the patch. Fingers crossed it’s this week.
-
Play both of them. I main Hillbilly, but that’s like 20% of the time. The mix up is what keeps the game fresh.

Thank god. I was going to lose it
He ded

That’s what Twins should’ve been
-
Replace second wind/self care with bond. Find your mates and have them heal.
-
Did this challenge with Ghostface and Sloppy. Like they said above. Non-issue.
-
He has too many drawbacks. It’s not that every drawback should be addressed but removing a few would massively improve his performance and feel.
-
Yeah this is a big issue imo. Killers should not struggle to max out their bloodpoints if played well.

It's just Spirit Fury. Enduring works fine, although that's even assuming you need it what with the pallets randomly not stunning killers.
I’ve noticed that the last few days as well. Intentionally running through pallets with enduring and it just pushes me back.
-
So it’s like Plague? But her sickness meter doesn’t decrease and shes 115
-
I agree with OP. Dowsey has a video up of him doing well and his primary advice was to use the power less. I’d agree that the other 110s feel much stronger and much more useful. It really hit me watching a Tru3 video yesterday when he said after throwing one blade, then another shortly after: “this is a down with Deathslinger.”
-
I’d rather they didn’t bother with censorship but figure things are different in other countries.
-
Agreed on many of the points above. Couple others:
o Survivors shouldn’t get sprint burst when injured.
o Trickster should receive brutality bloodpoints when taking a health state.
-
I think I’m going to dump my bloodpoints from the challenges into the new chapter characters.
-
Is this just for Spirit Fury? I'm worried I can't run Enduring either.

I don't think you can right now. His knives don't count for Chaser emblem.
This was my realization. After finally get some sense of his ability, I 4k’d two games in a row with bronze and silver chaser (the rest iridescent). Got to not use the ability to count towards chaser.
Literally played as a 110 man with machete and got it. Survivors were pretty decent as well.
Also fun note: causing a health state of damage awards zero brutality. They’ve had this issue on PTBs before (Executioner) but first time it made it’s way to live.
-
I thought it was something we opt into. It’s automatic?
-
People are salty ^ but I just remind myself how Deathslinger was perceived when he came out.
-
Might have to do with the new background theme updates and indirectly, like MadCat said, the lighting.
-
I like the electronic handshake comment from above. I say it no matter the game, then respond to what other players decide to talk about/bring up.
Sometimes you get negative emotions. Sometimes you thrash a team, then they want a earnest conversation about perk builds out of actual survey-like curiosity.
I treat each team as a blank slate in each end game chat.
-
I’ll probably need to study this. There are many who believe that justing using Tonic is best method.

bruh lmao, I guess clown is OP.
🙃🥲🤣
-
Two years ago I was playing PS4 Clown on (green) Lerys and the first down DC’d. Invited me to a message chat with me and his buddies (four man SWF) and started sending voicemails. I killed everyone then started responding.
The conversation we had was hilarious. He said Clown throwing at pallets was BS and too strong just like Wraith, Myers and his DC wasn’t close to something players are upset about as Clown throwing bottles.
Little did he know there were two Clowns on Lerys that day.
Still have all the messages too 😆
-
If Iri Heads get a set distance then Huntress should get to keep all five hatchets. Infantry belt should be considered for a nerf as well.
-
I wonder how many 4ks I’ve gotten in a trial that OP would’ve given up on.
-
Billy could use several buffs.
Maybe just QOL changes like timers on his addons. Lopro and Mothers Helpers are just mysteriously working.
Black Grease is too niche. Better just to make it a base punctured muffler + small additional cool down for each flashlight in the map.
To have it shine on you is just ridiculous. They could make the overheat reset to zero each time a flashlight shines on him and people still wouldn’t use it.
-
Plague + Spirit is why this game mode would never happen.
-
Buff Fired Up to reducing all stun timers by the respective gen completed percentage.
-
Yeah, it’s not for everyone. I play DBD this much anyways so it’s just a nice perk for me.
-
I feel you have to play quite a bit to get to the confidence of letting go of a meta build.
Took me a while but I often play without gen regression. Makes the games more challenging and gives extra advantages in other areas.
Rather than buying more time by affecting gens, I bring perks to find survivors or bring perks that help me catch survivors just a bit quicker. Turns out that slows the game down too.
If I lose enough I’ll slink back into Pop, Ruin, etc.

That's not how MMR should work. If queue times are disproportionately high for skilled killers the algorithm clearly needs work.
Agreed and want to emphasize. It needs to match everyone in. If a killer is the highest SBM, they should play against the highest SBM available.
What they presented with the test was killer purgatory for playing well.
-
@Noisy said:
You don't get it, he wasn’t allowed to play his favorite killer because queue time was hours long for high sbmm killers, not because he was not good enough...
Waiting more than 1 hour to finally get matched with a 4 man swf tournament level team is stupid and would kill the game for sure.
Yup. I know not everyone feels this way but I don’t mind the SEAL team sixes out there. Just queue me in with them.
I want to be able to play and if SBM disallows me because I got good at the game, then what’s the point of getting good at the game?
-
God I hope not. Some of us were not allowed to play our favorite killers because the MMR rating was too high.
-
They should just nerf Infantry Belt. Make it plus one hatchet and faster locker reload (instead of plus two hatchy).
-
It’s been like this for a while. Healthy change as some of weapons were too distracting like the Cow Leg
