THEY BUFFED WRAITH
THEY DID IT!
Wraith got windstorm base kit and i believe this makes double windstorm stronger as it doesn't stack the uncloaking movement speed decrease!
edit: Here are the numbers;
- Movement speed 5.09m/s to 6m/s
- Uncloak speed 2.02m/s to 1.6m/s

Just wait till boss sees this
They buffed his speed but is he as fast as the yellow Windstorm right now though? If so, great they finally caught up to the changes the community wanted and asked for lmao
I'm unsure which windstorm is base kit but i think it should be at least his green one, since yellow only slightly increases his speed i think they would have said slightly but who knows i can't wait to see it.
This is an amazing change. I hope they consider doing the same for Trapper and his brown bag.
About time. I don't understand why they didn't do this last patch when they gave him improved invisibility.
Need to see the numbers
They nerfed him. it's not even funny.
I barely used Wraith to begin with. Could you please explain how they nerfed him?
Buff Hillbilly
As a wraith main I dont really see this as a buff. Wraith's speed is great as is. I dont have any issue with traversing the map. You need to learn to play him in a specific way, but the overcompensation of more speed doesn't seem super necessary to me. The slower uncloak speed is... rough... With wraith people won't know Im there until I want them to. This is going to make it a bit harder to deal with loops and mindgames significantly harder. I personally don't think the speed buff, albeit generous, is worth the uncloak nerf.
They reduced his movement speed when he uncloaks.
From the developer update.
Wow that's good.. is it equivalent to which windstorm though?
He moves at 6 m/s, so much faster than before!
I hope he's faster, but I'll wait to see. Decreasing movement on uncloak is not a way to go.
Yeah, that's sprint burst speed right there
i also semi main wraith, honestly dude he is super unviable without windstorm.
I basically used windstorm nearly every game and it buffs his stronger playstyle which is hit and runs.
also he is nearly a full meter faster at 6m/s and with windstorm he is faster and doesn't suffer any extra uncloak speed decreases.
AAAAAH THIS IS NUT
WORTHY
Also I wonder how they changed the Windstorm speeds, I will take a look once the PTB is downloaded.
they did, it was said that the speed values have decreased, however i don't think they will be faster then green+purple windstorm but they might still give you the same speed.
Gotta disagree
Ghost Soot + Bone clappers has always been his strongest build.
Getting primary hits is always far easy for Wraith, but you get so many action interruptions when survs dont hear terror radius or see your red stain and think you are chasing someone else. It is absolutely huge in a game to get that many free downs.
In the actual chases body blocking, positioning, zoning, are all so important for confirming downs. Im worried the unlcoaking movement speed debuff will hinder the killer's ability to maintain the techs they need to break loops and confirm those downs
I know, I just wonder how much did they decrease them, let's hope it's not Bubba level decrease. (But actually that wouldn't be some bad, because he now moves at ######### 150% movement speed!)
