I am not sure it's a cheat. It's kinda on same level as filters to see better. Well, stronger...
It is just something that shouldn't be even possible to do.
No. Ansel is not cheating. It only works with games that officially support it, so its use is 100% intended and approved by the developers.
Stretched res is. a. #########. cheat. It uses unauthorised third party software to tamper with the game in a way that was never intended by the developers, and it gives an unfair advantage to those who use it.
Stop comparing these two things. They're not the same.
-
Daily reminder that this is a paid game, and yet it's monetised like a free-to-play. It doesn't need more monetisation (it didn't need the free-to-play BS to begin with, but transeat...).

Doing yes-yes with the proboscis.

I remind you that the BHVR was the same that took 5 years to reduce the Huntress' iridescent hatchets from 3 to 1. So I wouldn't expect big changes like that of the stretched from them, While the fortnite developers have managed to completely eliminate the use of stretched, maybe they should go and ask for advice.
You're comparing an item that was in the game and working as intended, to actual cheating, you know that, right?

Is it even possible to fix stretched res?

The thing is... How would you fix it? How can you 100% know with prove that someone is using it and even when you know what would you do with them? Ban them?
You literally just have to tick a goddamn box.

thats called stretched resolution
Which is cheating.

He's always been bad, lol.

When a killer does it, it's an exploit.
When survivors do it, it's a "tEcH."

It's not a joke. It makes a difference.
They nerfed Wraith's uncloaked lunge by 0.25 seconds and he became trash tier again.
He was trash even before that nerf, though.

I honestly want to know, what kinds of feedback have actually influenced or changed the game itself? Does anyone have any examples of this?
While this is mostly a question for mods I guess, if anyone has noticed actually feedback being used I would love to know it!
It depends. Who's the "we" you're reffering to? Killers? Survivors?
-
The devs are already preparing the nerf hammer.
-
Double standards.
-
The generators?

The OP is referring to the We Think This Killer Is Fine, But We'Re Gonna Nerf Them Regardless™ Pass, I think.

It seems like every patch lately they are coming out with something to shut down killer strategies. Killers try to snowball nope CoH will take that, ok well we will slug then yeah we're releasing a anti slug boon. So now the only strategies a killer has is camp and tunnel for pressure or end up with 4 hooks and a 4 man out. I don't understand what they are thinking severely wearing killer strategies but not giving us anything to make up for it. I don't like camping or tunneling but it seem like lately its the only consistent strategy to apply pressure.
It's what most of us veterans have been saying since 2018. The devs keep restricting the killers' options, so they have to make those tactics, which were once last-resort, their go-to meta: tunnelling, camping and slugging. They never get any new choices: the survivors demand further restrictions, so they have to double-down.
Killers (minus those who play purely to troll, which, given the state the game is in, is understandable) would rather do ANYTHING else than sit in front of a hook. They have always demanded changes to shake up the game. Survivors, though, keep insisting on things only changing so that they can stay the same, then wonder how they keep failing as they can't adapt to anything, no matter how simple.

Revert her back to her release self.
-
Always has been.
-
Yes. he should be reverted to how he was prior to the unjustified uber-nerfs he received. But survivors would stop buying their monthly wig passes if this ever happened, so...
-
Unnecessarily fiddly and gimmicky. Pathetically weak. Basically, she's the same as every new killer has been after Myers' original iteration.
-
Not me.
-
No killer is strong. So, every killer is weak.

For the survivor side getting nearly everything they want they have to be survivor mains. I have never seen a patch with good changes that focus more on the killers ( Not a killer or survivor main btw). I always have this bad feeling every time when the devs release an update its either someone or something getting nerfed to the ground or getting buffed to the point its needs to be nerfed again.
Not necessarily. I just think they want money.
-
Maybe i didn't make my point clear enough.
The devs know what happens in their game. They know that killers are at an inherent disadvantage. Still, they're not going to make the game fair for them, because, if they ever did, your average survivor, who can't tell a generator from a pallet (and can't even handle a Legion, let alone killers like Hag or Blight) but sure as ######### drops tons of cash on microtransactions, would ditch the game.

Because the devs, time and time again have proved they don't understand their game properly, and proved they don't understand how properly balance their game as a result. Same with the game's inherent design flaws, which causes other problems as well.
I agree, it's should take at least the same amount of time to stop a generator for degressing, if not actually more, because the killer is actually losing a lot from having to commit to kicking a gen, like for instance losing bloodlust or losing sight of survivors being chased.
The devs know far too well what happens in their game.

No, she's not.

VHS is F13 Game 2: Electric Boogaloo, and anyone with half a brain will probably already have seen the writing on the wall.
Propnight is so badly designed, DbD looks the most finely balanced game ever, in comparison.
Both of them are just bandwagoning pisstakes, and will meet the same fate as all the other DbD clones: catatonic on arrival, and then dead and forgotten in a couple days.

I already did. I still check in every once in a while to have a good ol' laugh, but I'm never actually playing this thing again, unless it gets changed for the better. But that is simply never going to happen, so...

i mean, they ARE eventually gonna change keys (since they’ve said it). but we all know how slow BHVR can be to implement changes lol

What do you think these people are complaining about? Overheat is annoying but it CAN be mostly removed from a common add on. He still controls identical in terms of movement and his base charge is the same.
People just want to be carried by Instasaw. All those players that were -actually- good at Billy are still playing him. Its just that very few people put the time in.
Don't get me wrong, before people jump down my throat, Overheat should NOT exist. It was complete unnecessary. But insta needed to be removed.
No. His maneuverability was shadow-nerfed/buggered up some months prior to the uber-nerf, alongside his POV, his base charge time (increased by ±0.2 seconds), his movement speed when he charges the chainsaw (used to slow down at 100%. Now he loses ground on survivors) and other things. That stupid red bar is NOT the only difference between current and OG Billy.

There was also the issue that he could eat pallets like it was nothing, Bubba can (Sorta) do the same but he has charges and doesnt have the mobility Billy has.
He shouldnt be allowed to use his Chainsaw as often as before, that alongside Insta saw was what made him so absurd as a killer.
"Lego builders shouldn't be allowed to snap together bricks as often as they do!11!1!!1"
You people realise this is how you sound when you say stuff like that, yeah?

It’s opinions like this that make me feel godly when I 4k with Billy without regression perks.
Add on rework? Yes. Uncompetitive killer? No.
K. Have fun stomping potatoes with your M1 laughing stock.
-
The real question is, why would you play Billy?
-
You can't. It has no counterplay. Survivors made sure of that.
