I know how wraith works.
Then don't complain, would you rather someone played Stridor spirit or Wraith?

Wraith in himself isn't fun to play against because good ones don't chase.
Wraiths don't commit because he has 0% map pressure at any given time unless they are creating it, a Wraith often won't commit unless they see an opportunity for an easy down/hook
-
I do agree setting sound should be quieter.
Offensive Trapper is a good way to play if you have a lost puppy that match, rather than territorial Trapper.
Darker traps should also be basekit.
Bring Franklin's if you see a map in a lobby if you really hate them that much, thing is, seeing your traps is dependent on the addon 'red twine' and who's really gonna bring that just in case they go against a Trapper (one of the least played killers).
-
A Freddy got salty because I used balanced landing to make for shack loop, one singular time, and he lost 4 gens tryna mind game me at shack...
-
Lmao what
You can hide in a locker, you probably just made it obvious you were in the locker
Clearly you just got clapped by a Wraith with this addon but it's very balanced. Its 12m of wallhacks (not far), whilst cloaked, so you have this whole 3 seconds to make distance on the Wraith whilst he uncloaks, and if you get hit because they saw through a wall (or a bush if your a blendy) then you were massively out of position anyway and that's your fault.
-
Stake Out
(The other choice imo is prove thyself)
At low ranks prove thyself is better as more often than not lost puppies will be following you around
My personal choice is stake out
Your job as a No Mither is to waste the killers time or speed through gens (even better with resilience) and stake out helps you do both (gain tokens when chase breaks on long walls and stuff and destroy gens with those tokens after, fast track may be a better choice when it comes out but it depends on your team mates being bad).
Currently i wouldn't put in dead hard, but that's because it seems to hate me and the I frames just aren't working, and i feel guilty about DH for distance because its uncounterable. Plus No Mither is good for teaching you not to be out of position because otherwise you'll be #########, (you can learn this normally but with No Mither the consequences are more prevalent).
I'd instead replace Dead Hard with either Urban Evasion or Iron Will. Either be a stridor counter or a chase god. Iron will means you wont be moaning at 50% all match. Urban means you can window tech like an absolute icon and it's good for not getting spotted at a distance whilst needing to make ground (which happens a lot).

it's more me feeling bad- i main pyramid head, nurse, and freddy, so i balance it out by also maining speed limiter bubba and no shock doc
Ah fair
I don't think I could do that to myself
Saying that I play Wraith and Trapper most games so... 😓

I already play no-shock-doc so I wouldn't really care

I wonder how many 4ks I’ve gotten in a trial that OP would’ve given up on.
Im wondering if OP thinks the early game gen pops count as gen rushing.
-
Play the game like any normal person and dominate most matches like usual
At red rank most squads are gen rush squad, nothing you can do but get good ig
-
@Mat_Sella said:
you're complaining about DH and you're playing The Wraith. I see the problem here, and its not Dead Hard.
It's like complaining about your Ice Cream melting on a summer's day. What else are you expecting here, for Wraith to have a ranged attack? a blink? a lunge ability? no, you have stealth. if you can't use stealth to down the survivors then improve on that or choose a different killer.
Lmao back off on my boy Wraith
He's not the best but if you make the right decisions you can win most matches
-
I personally can comfortably play against Spirit even with Stridor
Iron Will is usually basekit with me though so a lot of this will only be useful when you have IW.
1) Crouching, this lowers your injured noises by about 25% so this wont completely silence you against a stridor spirit but it will be VERY disorienting for them, if they get used to you crouching then mind game them with this a bit and crouch a bit and dont crouch a bit and make more distance. Of course not every Spispi will fall for this
2) Windows are your best friend. If you are making ground on a spirit and she begins to phase, try and make for the nearest longwall window (often shack or a jungle gym). If they don't reach you prior they'll often lunge at the window. If they do not, double back and slow vault over again, this will often place you on the other side of the wall against a Spirit with little to no phase left. Resume looping.
3) Creating scratch marks that are misleading
A lot of people don't know is if you fake running one way and fake the other a small amount of scratch marks will be created in the direction you faked. This can often be used to gain a marginal amount of distance on a Spirit when you are uninjured!
4) Learn the average timing for her phase to return, often Spirit's dont consider this when playing the standing still minigame and you can use this opportunity to hold W
5) Following from my prior point
Hold W, a lot of killers, not just Spirit, will often expect you to loop a structure. Holding W can cause them to mindgame themselves and allow you to gain distance
I hope I could be helpful
-
As well as the things said above, you get a score event which isn't hard to keep track of
-
Sometimes I go to kick my own Victor or tap a gen that is regressing
-
Honestly just backpack toggle would make life so much easier
Felix's mountain scout backpack feels like it impedes my movement more than anything so now I dont use the top cosmetic because of the backpack.
-
Moonwalking doesn't always waste time unless you are trying to show off your 'sick mlg moonwalks'
Also it can be quite nice against a good Nurse (not a god nurse) as the turn can make them think your gonna double back and for a moment it looks like you are running towards them which can mess up their blink massively and allow you to gain a large amount of distance
-
Lmao this is BS
Not every toxic player uses these perks and not every player who uses these perks is toxic
How dare I not want to have to listen to 'urgghh, arhahhaha, brrr, eh' for most of a match. Clearly not wanting to get an earache from annoying injured noises is toxic
-
Play normally
At the end of the day it's only a 2 man or more hatch escape that damages me, and I don't let that happen anyway.
Also ever thought maybe a survivor is running a key for the blood amber build? I do it a lot, I never use a key for a hatch escape unless the hatch has already been closed by the killer
-
Here are some of my favourite perks for solo
Iron Will
Calm Spirit (a LOT of people hate calm spirit but I find it invaluable, I'm going for flashy saves a lot though, so it might not be your cuppa, also infectious gets on my damn nerves)
An exhaustion perk (less so for me nowadays, I find myself using them as a safety net so I'll just use something else that helps me as well, but amazing for a lot of players)
A fellow survivor aura reading perk. I like Aftercare but a lot of people run bond or empathy, which both are also great. Don't run aftercare unless you know you wont be hooked much
Hope, this perk has saved my balls in a pinch I dont care if its max two minutes at end game definitely one of ny favourite perks!!
-
I hate Rancor with a passion (Not because its unfair because it's not unfair but rather it fuels my anxiety and makes me worry all game because I know I'm gonna get hunted down)!
So I'll throw my friend with DS under the bus if she has it up (when we're together, I'd never do this to a random) and she's cool with it, she's much more level headed with stuff like that, wish I had that kind of attitude tbh!
-
I use padded jaws without honing stone on Trapper a lot, just because I like the BP, i just make sure to only trap places that will be stepped into during chase so i don't lose profit from my traps.
-
Spies From The Shadows:
(Additional effect added to base)
If the same survivor startles 4/3/2 crows within 3/6/9 seconds of each other you see their aura for two seconds.

-
Surv: Autodicdic, tbh I dont think it's even bad
Killer: Spies, surprisingly a large useful amount of info
-
Especially when it's done without ass ######### your DPI
I've hit a few using my friends (very basic) mouse since mine broke a couple days ago and it feels damn good, just takes much much more violence and a higher base DPI
-
Survivor:
1)Autodidact
2)For The People
3)Object Of Obsession
4)Smash Hit
Killer:
1)Devour Hope
2)The Third Seal
3)Spies (I'll only put it on with a Hawkins offering unless it's some specific killers though)
4)(I can't decide on this so) Surge/Infectious, I'm aware they don't do similar things but rather I have equal affections for them so they cannot take place over one another.

STBFL is actually kinda underated imo get a hit at a tile and while they are running to the next tile you can catch up almost instantly and down stupid fast
I never really liked it on him but each to their own
-
Well you have the typical boring #########
Ruin undying tinkerer etc.
BUT
This is what I've been running
Pop
Dark Devotion
Knock Out
Bam Bam
With double blighted animal addons (crow and rat) the idea is getting a dark devotion proc down with your m1, with knockout to hide the body so you dont lose pressure from the slug with a TR and using the super speed blighted animal addons to go and get a jump on someone, I've found it to be quite effective!!
-
Absolutely not
Though I will say the moment I see kindred in post game lobby after a Trapper game on more than one survivor I feel a bit of my soul leave my body.
(Not because I camp but because any traps I set up nearby for later are gonna be known of and/or disarmed ;-;
-
How am I meant stop something I never liked doing in the first place?
FTP obsession perk supremacy.

They just have better gaming chairs

Not only. You also get that cool looking numeral 3 by your name. That ######### is tight, & a much needed addition. Plus you play better with that 3 next to your name. Everybody knows that!
Fr tho it feels like it, and the numeral icon is fresh asf

This one Kate I really wanted to kill for some reason but someone in chat kept telling me to spare her.
Well, the time comes for her to be on death hook, and she's just crouching towards me, slowly. Very, very slowly, inching along, legs doing this deformed shuffle and face staring up into my pyramid. Cold, dead, lifeless eyes, genuinely ######### terrifying, crawling ever closer.
And they say this game isn't scary.
You stream?

The cyclical narrative you used for emphasis is both cringey and satisfying.

*You can use Charlotte to block a pallet/entrance/window in chase while releasing Victor
*If using Victor at an exit gate, make sure to put him on a healthy survivor and have Charlotte nearby (they can't leave while carrying Victor)
*Victor can hold survivors in a locker for a short amount of time. He can also jump over pallets/windows which takes a little bit of practice.
*If everyone is injured, that's always a good time to release Victor for a couple of downs. He can see blood but not scratch marks.
*I personally find their brown addons to be quite good. The little sword and baby tooth looking addons are typically enough for me.
The build I'm currently running is Corrupt Intervention, Oppression, PGTW and BBQ.
The finger nail is also nice

Please try applying some maturity. Your assumptions are your own, BHVR never announced a release date, so please stop trying to argue with me about your own error. You have stated your self "Almost Always", so...NOT always, hence, wait till BHVR give a date and stop assuming.

Update was never given an official release date but people assumed that it would drop 3 weeks after the PTB as usual. Now people are upset that it's confirmed to release next week because they're so caught up in their own presumptions that they're complaining it was "delayed".
https://twitter.com/PaulieEsther1/status/1374079973783392259
Man I'm so gutted, it's the only thing I've had to look forward too. I'd honestly rather they released another buggy mess than delay it another week.

It’s been delayed
Where has this been confirmed?

On a hyper mobile killer, especially with distressing, it could be very strong if they are right on top of a hook when they down the survivor. Otherwise I don't think the timer is long enough short of stopping body blockers (which is it's intended purpose)
It will fit nicely into a meme build.

I hope he isn't allowed to chase us, otherwise BHVR has gone too far 😔

It's probably my favourite Trapper map besides the Macmillian maps!
The amount of times I've caught someone with a little corner trap right by a gen is almost comical.
Sometimes I'll bring a Hawkins offering with honing and iri stone with third seal just because getting those suprise traps with the iri stone at the upstairs gen. They're like hehe I disarmed your trap and then it opens again and traps them, it's too funny and basically makes the gen unviable if I can keep my ruin totem up, which is one less gen to defend.
-
Idk man I'm ######### hyped!!

YESSSSSSSSSS, I'm getting him a skin if he has any good ones
