I have come around to quite liking her. Got the new outfit too.

Maybe a werewolf?

Artist and Mikhail

See you tomorrow

It’s still strong. It still causes DCs.

No issues. Steam. Cross play off.

Bhvr is gonna get flak no matter what. I think their getting more flak because of the way they done it.
The first sentence is my conclusion as well. The second one, I don’t know about. I think it’s built into the new Tome so my guess is this is all just reactionary (since yall probably don’t know more about the Tome then I do) and all the more reason for BHVR to get out of these kinds of discussions.
Yknow, since yall appear to be punishing their attempt.
Just let the fan fics handle this going forward.

If this change completely stops cheating, I'm gonna agree. So, I don't want to see any flying characters anymore in-game. Can you promise me that? Nor lag switcher.
I will promise that my explanation for why the engine-cannot-be-changed-anymore matches my thoughts. This is a good move.
I am in favor of more adjustments being available in settings; yall are right on that. Just seemed to be missing the issue on engine.ini.

Killer: Hooking all survivors at least once and three kills.
Survivor: Pipping in Red Grades.

Wrong.
We just want the ability to disable anti-aliasing.
We would happily accept an in-game toggle. Most other games have this basic feature.
It has nothing to do with cheating.

Then why the ######### exactly in 6 years the game still has no AA toggle in settings?
I’m okay with an in game feature. Not okay with the engine being reopened.
Know what we’re asking for here.

It takes the same amount of XP, but you get twice as many.
Makes sense. Prevents our player levels from increasing at double rate (like this last weekend) but still get the benefit from a bonus to the rift fragments.
I play this game religiously anyways. All these little events have been great.

Do you have 3000+ shitposts? Because you don't know what is cheating.
The scripts, that cheaters use, alter the game engine through macros. So locking the engine prevents many of those cheat software engines to have trouble operating.
Maybe you don’t know what you’re talking about but this thread is asking for the loophole to come back, indirectly.
Get it now?
-
Looks like they locked the engine. They should’ve done that a year ago.
-
Oh good they locked the engine finally? Guess cheating got a whole lot harder. Rough day.
-
I haven’t seen a cheater since the wave last week.
-
Fifteen minutes
-
I don’t think you’re getting your refund buddy.
-
Everyone is not mad. I hope you find solace somewhere.
-
Yes, you can. Say you like the fifty second tier, but you’re only level seven, you can pay 4,500 auric cells to get there.
-
Legion is quite a bit stronger. Not enough experience with Ghostface. I’m really enjoying the new outfits as well.
Haddonfield is killer sided.
-
I often teabag at pallets to get across to the killer, “I will loop this pallet until you break it.”
And as killer I don’t care about survivors tea bagging. You can’t crouch and run.
No one cares about other players pressing ctrl when they’re winning. My interpretation of players ‘offended’ by it is they only care cause they’re losing and trying to dig a moral high ground win out of something that’s not there.
My prescription is git guud.
-
I think it’s extraordinarily liberal in its application. Takes multiple DCs to increase from five minutes. You’d have to be basically addicted to it in order to really ever suffer a severe penalty.
-
Yay. Cannot wait to wreck yall with Twins.

The developers will adjust MMR if it turns out to be a disaster, I'm sure. The PTB is ok for testing, but sometimes it gives you horrible information too. PTB is where all the extremely skill players and streamers go, so statistically, it doesn't cover the majority of players because most players are casuals.
Especially with something such as MMR. The developers got a bunch of feedback from streamers which could definitely have skewed MMR to the streamers favor. If one of the MMRs was giving streamers easier games, then I guarantee that all the streamers were coming on the forums telling the developers how awesome MMR was now.
If the developers start getting a flood of negative feedback about MMR, once it's release to the general public, then I'm sure they'll revert the change.
That’s already happened. Re-read the developers notes. “More variety” in games and look at what CoconutRTS said in his last few videos.
They may have already gotten the streamers back in my estimation.
-
Isn’t this what all those killers picking Cannibal are trying to do? Get him nerfed? Seems like it to me.
-
Imagine being a dev reading this. Just spent the last month tweaking MMR. Was very open about the process. Formulas. What they did. Even did a massive ban wave of cheating accounts.
You get this.
It will never be enough.

To be honest, Clown's power is by far easier to understand and less punisheable if you miss... needless to say now you have the yellow bottles which gives you a small speed buff for a brief time.
Cenobite’s power is definitely a worse version of clowns bottle. His passive ability (the box) may be the best passive in the game.
-
This is hilarious yall
-
As survivor, it's whatever.
As killer, if I find the fourth survivor in the act of downing the third, it's a sluggo. Otherwise, we hooking.
-
Just removed all the QOL killers on Legion. Four second stun. Loss of power on M1. Incentive to gamble on hitting the 'next' survivor. A small speed boost to accomplish it, rewarding earning another hit.
I do not know if Legion will massively improve in lethality. But it won't hurt as much to play now. Sorta like Trapper.
-
The top five killers are all exceptional tunnelers. Nurse, Blight, Spirit, Twins, Executioner.
-
That was one of those classic, "is this a bug or a feature?" things that happened with Hag. The camera swing was never originally intended. Just a happy accident. If they nerfed it, it was never meant to be there anyways.
The other thing is survivors who look at the trap while running past one never did get the camera swing effect. It was only if they activated a trap while not looking at the trap. The reports do not mention this so this may be a misunderstanding of how her ability affects survivors?
-
What are her bugs? I feel you’re referencing something likely buried in Bug Reporting.
-
I’ve recently stopped using Pain Resonance on her. My build is now:
- BBQ
- CI
- DMS
- Discordance
CI to let me get my first hook. Disc and BBQ to know where to shoot. DMS to delay.
I dropped Pain Resonance for Corrupt Intervention recently and feel its paying off.
Pain Resonance pushes a player off, but the tracking perks have a similar effect anyways with birds.
-
Most survivor meta perks are insurance for certain killer playstyles. There are matches where unbreakable, decisive strike, and borrowed time never activate. Yet survivors bring these for the one match where it has to.
Some of the perks individually may only activate once every dozen games (unbreakable), but is still brought just in case. Again, insurance.
-
He has a multitude of advantages over Huntress. I’ll try to explain:
- He deals with “Hold W” survivors better. Being able to M2 cancel quicker mid-chase is an underrated advantage. Plus many survivors will attempt to dodge M2 fakes. This was actually a buff within a nerf for him.
- He does not have to break chase to reload.
- He shoots way quicker than huntress. Huntress does throw beach balls, but she has to wind up, then charge if you want a hit. DS, once you get used to the ADS timing, can be quite rapid in his shots.
- He utilizes STBFL better than Huntress. His M1, M2, M1 can be as quick a double tap as Huntress can achieve.
- He does not have a lullaby. He can utilize terror radius perks that Huntress cannot. Tinkerer, Hysteria, M&A all work better on DS and make sense on him.
If it’s not obvious, I like playing DS way more than Huntress. She is a slow moving tank. He’s a killer that just runs down survivors. I find his chase a more aggressive playstyle which fits me better.
-
Also happy. Only concern I have left is the ease of breaking GF out of stalk. There were busted scenarios where he wouldn’t be broken out due to the mechanics. But I’m hoping it’s not too too easy now. Especially with all the increased emphasis on marking survivors.

I haven’t watched the video, but it would be easy to see why people say mangled is 25% slower healing when it says so in the freaking in-game description:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/O3OU7T0224QG/f06e7e17-4f99-4cf5-a43e-83afd54d109a.png
Mangled increases base healing speed from sixteen seconds to twenty. Mathematically that’s either:
- 16 x (1+.25) = 20, or
- 16 / (1-.20) = 20
Either way you pick, it is twenty seconds. Funnily enough, the snippet in your post references this but doesn’t explain it.
-
The meta has changed. We actually asked for it. It’s going to be a thing. Adapt. Overcome.
Circle of Healing, in my opinion, had two options. Reduce the healing benefit, or remove the self care option. You can see which one they’ve chosen.
-
Looks like DBD community needs to step it up, huh?
I grew up with these kinds of insults. The way forward is strengthening yourself. “Don’t make the world with all it’s horrors smaller, make the individual bigger.”
Happy hunting.
-
There was a recent article about how there are two million daily logins into DBD between all the platforms. Over fifty million total users.
On steam the numbers are reducing. But as others mentioned, its really just reducing from a recent all time high.
-
Right now, shards does more for me than bloodpoints. Maybe cause I’m at the end of the grind comparatively.
-
Frankly. Bad idea. Play Nurse.
-
Maybe read the patch notes released yesterday. Can you confirm?
-
My instinctive response is that these people still have a voice on balance. The distinction that makes players that actively lower their MMR disgusting, are the ones that advertise how good they are at some aspect of the game.
Great survivor main that plays baby killers. Nice job dude 👍
Like, for instance, imagine a killer main that has fifty win streaks that they thump their chest on, then you realize they dodged lobbies if they knew the survivors they chanced on are really good or have too many items.
Kind of stains the rep they’re seeking to attain.
-
I don’t think so. I’ve seen the complaints. Just never feels like I’m losing to the map.
Main building is okay-ish with the windows. There’s usually a jungle gym and two TLs. Mixed with long wall pallets. About two of these pallets by killshack. Maybe one or two behind main building. Two in the middle.
Once the pallets are gone, its just a handful of windows around the map that do not connect together.
Other maps are far worse in design.
-
After getting to Iri one, I also stop thinking about pipping mid-match.

Curious as to why you feel that way. I find Blight to be way more forgiving. I can correct a bad bump if I have charges. With Billy I'm screwed if I don't hit the curve perfectly
Comes down to the nature of their powers with collision, as Brimp is alluding to just now. Knowing what collisions to avoid with a saw is easier than what collisions are not possible while mid-rush and interlaying that into a way to earn a hit.
Sliding off of a shack wall when you need that hit to win is far more punishing. In my opinion.
-
As a Hillbilly main, I think Blight is more difficult.
