why would the cooldown to a power be effected by a change to basic swings? not to mention demo has an add on to do that anyway

And shred is still plenty strong with the ability to shut down strong loops entirely like shack. Plus, with his strongest addons, barbs glasses and black heart it’s slightly faster than basekit speed now
His bottom tier kill rates seem to indicate the opposite.
...This is a very weird hill to pick to die on, by the way. How does it make your game worse if Demo gets a buff?

Also, yes, a dozen people are going to say CoB+Eruption, or CoB+Eruption+Nowhere to Hide. There, that's out of the way, no need to repeat it. :p
I'd say... Windows of Opportunity + Dead Hard? It always seems to lead to 'hey, drop every chase or go on a tour of all the map's pallets unless there's already a deadzone to either side' (especially when it's garden of joy or something). Kind of hard to catch people out when they know exactly where all the map resources are.
Flip Flop + Boil Over + Ormond Offering. Yes, I know what you're doing and I wish it was bannable.

Pig strong enough to absorb it but demo isn’t? What kind of world are you living in. Demo is perfectly fine, run black heart if you really want to reduce the cooldown.
Yes, because Pig's kit is bolstered by her traps.
Demo's kill rates are rock bottom, as he relies a lot on shred.

If it wasnt bad enough before with 3 potentially gen spawns in lobby, 2 spawn in most cases, now theres another which is just meters apart (bottom of stairs by green crates and one nearest gate). Not to mention the interrogation room can have one, 2 can spawn in that room with hole in wall next to lobby another in that hall just outside, one upstairs by puzzle & 3 lockers (good for teleporting/blink killers). Anyway just a bit ridiculous IMO.
On a side note HUD is great, now need to see others perks and Kindred basekit.
Sounds like a bug with the spawn logic. Pop in a report, they might get to it in the next content patch, like they did with the last round of map bugs.

"I will give people a miserable time because other people gave me a miserable time"
"Looping me around strong structures is toxic because I decided to commit to the chase"
"Doing an objective that's right next to me that I didn't push you off of is toxic, everyone should hide when they hear my TR"
You are actually pathetic. I hope I catch you while I'm on blight or in a swf so I can really show you what misery is.
Eh...
On one hand, you're not wrong.
On the other hand, I swear - there's a certain streamer that spreads crap like the exploit to avoid AFK crows, the unhookable spot on Ormond etc. and after having that being used to grief me multiple games in a row, it's very hard to resist.

@Xenophotnes said:
Hello. I am Xeno. I have 3600 hours of DBD playtime and have played since nearly the launch of the game (original 3 killers + 4 survivors). I have about maybe 60% killer play rate and a 40% survivor player rate. Even though it might seem i say this with a bias skewed towards killer i think this new icon change is probably one of the worst things they could have done to the game on its own.
Now i don't think this change should have never come. I think quite the opposite. As a survivor 90% of my games were solo Q and the other 10% where if my friends were in the mood to play. For those 90% of games this is such a welcome change considering how rough it can be in solo queue with some of the randoms I seem to get. With that being said i find the fact that there was no blanket killer buffs (especially for the weaker to mid range killers) has made the killer experience so much worse.
As a killer I could easily tell the difference between a SWF game and a solo Q game. Though at high mmr solo Q games can also be pretty rough it still feels alot more winnable than the obvious SWF games due to the lack of proper communication. With this change the solo Q games might aswell just be SWF games in all but name (which again im ok with) but the killers (especially the weaker and mid tier killers) need some massive compensations. Either to their kit or just some baseline things. Every killer game has been nothing but hell with me snagging 2 kills at best. I just recently played one more game for the hell of it and someone just insta D/Ced at 5 gens. it was the only reason i won with no difficulty, but most to all my survivor games have been either 4 man escapes or 3 man escapes. This is a serious issue imo and will just objectively make the game worse for killers until some compensation buffs are given.
To add a note. It didn't even take that long for the 100% bloodpoint bonus to go to killers. Its really down bad for them right now.
No, what you're seeing now is 'event' syndrome.
In a nutshell, a sudden influx of folks who haven't played in a while coming in for the cosmetics and bonus BP - killer incentive was 100% all day yesterday and there's a lot of sweaty sweaty SWFs around.

Why do people facecamp with him? He's so much more fun and satisfying to play normally.
I just had a very rough game vs very good survivors (2 of them had instaheals and 1 of them had a brand new part, last one brought autoheaven offering) and I got 7 hooks with no kills as the last gen pops.
One survivor got hooked and the doors were already 99'd. I could've easily facecamped the last person but I decided to trick them and let them get the unhook by losing line of sight from them.
I got 3 kills out of that since I came from a direction they didn't expect and with my chainsaw I downed 3 people. The last one escaped, it was much more enjoyable than facecamping.
Because he's really fun...until you get sent to Haddonfield or Garden of Joy and folks just endlessly abuse those windows so you can't even consider using your power.

Yeah I know EOC is clearly survivor sided no argument there, but there are also plenty of maps that are killer busted too? Shelter woods and rotten fields sometimes spawn maybe 8-10 pallets and have massive dead zones of nothing, dead dog is small as hell and is full of unsafe loops, and don’t get me started on midwhich or that auto heaven that spawns four gens side by side. And all of these against anti loop and highly mobile killers (which to be fair are the most viable these days) are ten times worse. I don’t get why one of the maps that has good rng for survivors is getting changed just because it’s good for one side?
I’m all for balancing maps, if they changed it across the board to where every one was relatively fair I’d be just as happy, but when they start removing maps that were good for one side (ie old rpd and old eyrie of crows) it just feels unfair to not add changes to other ones yk? Plenty of maps spawn insanely close three-four gen situations, huge dead zones, and bad/less pallets.
Are these changes because killers themselves aren’t very balanced maybe? Because eyrie of crow doesn’t feel nearly as busted against artist, knight, blight, dredge etc, yet I can see how it sucks for pig and trapper for example. Maps like EOC make the game feel more fair for survs when versing the s tier killers, just like how I’m sure maps like shelter woods feel better for lower tiered killers.
TLDR: plenty of maps have bad rng for survivors so why aren’t they getting changed to be more fair? Is it bc of killer tiers?
One thing being imbalanced in favor of x does not mean that something else needs to be imbalanced in favor of y, unless the x thing is used to counter y.
That's just a whataboutism.
Going off the recent video, more maps favor survivor than killer, and watching the recent community cup - killers were struggling to get a single kill on Midwich, so clearly it's not that bad.

So, with the new release of cosmetics coming up, it needs to be said how I’m disappointed in Behaviors treatment towards their people of color cast. Every update, white characters are put on a pedestal and are given the most exciting fits of the best fits in general.
If it’s not the usual white cast of characters: Dwight, Kate, Mikeala, David, Nea, Felix, and now Vittorio, then it’s their usual token lighter skin Asian Feng Min who gets a thousand fits. Whereas, awesome characters like Elodie, Haddie, Zarina, Adam, Jake, and Claudette continue to get neglected with either NO cosmetics or just BAD cosmetics. Behaviour claims to push for diversity, but it feels like they’re just saying it while lazily putting in the effort to really represent these characters of darker complexion.
People say it’s based on who’s popular, but people are going to play characters with frequent cosmetics and good treatment in the game. It really sucks and hopefully BHVR realizes other characters that aren’t WHITE exists as well and needs proper representation. Like Haddie came before Vittorio, but he already has a tome and they’ve already carried on the blatant “sex sells” methods to push him; a basic white guy just like they did with Felix. And Felix is paired with Elodie, yet she gets NOTHING.
Going back to my last point, all of the white female characters get frequent cute fits (the token light skin Feng Min too), and the darker skin girls get one good fit with pretty much the rest being bad or non-exsistent. As for white males, don’t get me started. They are soooooo favored. We barely have people of color male characters, and they are super neglected. Do better BHVR :/
heres a good post to read as well:
https://twitter.com/zadtwt/status/1617993462535815168?s=21&t=idz5_Zzay3EPTaQbR7hchA
- Obvious _______ is _______.
- Yun and Feng are Asian. Vittorio is Mediterranean.
- Asian =/= White unless you're some sort of loopy hotep or BII type.
- Jake is also Asian.
- Characters of darker complexion already have advantages - they can be bloody impossible to find on some maps.
- And yet I see a billion Jills and Leons running around.
- Sex sells =/= White.
- Yun, Jake, Claudette. Both with a ton of outfits.
- There are plenty of nonwhite male characters. Vittorio isn't white. He's Italian - which is closer to Hispanic, in terms of genus.
@Justice4DarkPeople said:

And as I said, it APPLIES. don’t be dismissive as if it’s not blatantly clear that white characters in the game are pushes to the forefront and DARKER colored characters are sidelined or not properly represented. The majority of updates has a vast rosters of white characters and not minorities. It’s a process, but bhvr is not doing a great job at it. Dwight, Meg, Mikeala, Vittotio, Felix, Kate, Nea, and etc are for sure given more preferential treatment compared to others.
Is it?
But okay - let's say that they are.
What are the demographics of people who play DbD? Because I have a feeling that PoC survivors are actually overrepresented for the playerbase.
Vittorio, once again, is not white.
He's Italian. Which is Mediterranean.

That's... not a strawman. In the future, consider using Google before you start trying out words you don't know. Ironically, you're own completely non-sequitur argument about "survivors running into spots where you can't pick them up" is a fine example of a strawman.
Sigh.
Yeah, it is.
Strawman: Deliberately misrepresenting someone's argument. As you did with mine, by claiming that I literally said
"Killers never do anything wrong, and if they do it's because some survivor made them do it."
That's pretty clear and cut.
Ironically, you're own completely non-sequitur argument about "survivors running into spots where you can't pick them up" is a fine example of a strawman.
😂
Okay...so, speaking of looking things up on Google.
Maybe look up what non-sequitur means?
There are literally spots on Ormond, Asylum, DDS, Grim Pantry, Badham and probably some more I'm forgetting where you can either go down and the killer literally cannot get the prompt to pick you up, or you can basically wriggle free 100% of the time because of hook placement.
Some of these have been this way for years.

Did you quote the wrong person or do you not know what a strawman is?
Regardless, you have a second person saying the same thing and you're still dismissing it as if you have any actual understanding on the matter. You don't seem to realize that the majority of streamer games are nothing like your average solo que experience and the fact that you even have to rely on that kind of thing to establish an opinion the matter shows you have no idea what you're talking about.
No, it's you.
Ah yes, the treasured classic, "Killers never do anything wrong, and if they do it's because some survivor made them do it."
Yup, that's a...honestly, we might be past strawman now.
Yeah, that's more like it.
Two people saying the same thing only means that the number of people wrong has increased by 1. You...do realize that it's possible for two people to be wrong, right?
Or quite possibly one person and their alts.
I'm saying:
- As a weakish survivor, I almost never see it.
- Watching a variety of different survivor streamers, I almost never see it.
So that's intermediate MMR and expert MMR, all not really that common.
Now, yes, I do see it on a very rare occasion. But not to the level where it justifies massive, sweeping changes to the game that would allow survivors to take a match hostage almost forever, on demand.
You don't think that, at the very least, unhookable spots or un-pick-up-able spots don't need to be fixed before giving everyone infinite UB?
the fact that you even have to rely on that kind of thing to establish an opinion the matter shows you have no idea what you're talking about.
The fact that I...use examples to back up my opinion is...proof that I'm wrong what?
Firstly, Kafkatrap.
Secondly, again - what?
-

Ah yes, the treasured classic, "Killers never do anything wrong, and if they do it's because some survivor made them do it." Playing a handful of survivor matches and watching streamers in general is hardly enough to capture the general solo que experience, so I'm not sure why you feel comfortable even second-guessing here.
Survivor runs to one of the many spots that still exist where you can't pick them up. So now I have to bleed them out.
What do you want me to do? Just...let them go?
Nice attempt at a strawman though.
@versacefeng said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3326179#Comment_3326179
No deliberately being bled out is more common than you think and it’s mostly for the lamest reason.
Is it?
I've seen one game in my last 200 odd survivor games with a knockout bleeder, and 0 watching Ayrun, Spooky and Wholesome playing survivor.
The only times I see a killer doing this is because a survivor was really BM or exploiting.

I'm with you, OP, I've run into so many killers slugging out of spite that I don't bother playing outside of events or PTBs anymore. Congrats to all of you who don't play Survivor enough to run into this on a constant basis, but for some of us this is pretty darn frequent occurence.
Have you?
Because, again, I watch a lot of streams and play a fair amount of survivor - and aside from tactical slugging (something totally different) I almost never see this unless the survivor is deliberately doing something obnoxious in the first place.

I don't really see an issue with someone playing survivor well. The DbD community is weird and way too influenced by content creation. People think you're only good at survivor if you play suboptimally and take unnecessary risks.
Players tend to draw a false equivalence to camping and tunneling. Not really the same thing. One takes advantage of poor matchmaking and solo queue. Holding W is optimizing pathing. Again, the community is really weird and has to draw a knee jerk false equivalency to the other side with everything.
Eh...no, I can see the similarity there.
Camping and tunneling are annoying, but are possible due to a design issue.
Holding W to abuse a pseudo infinite on Garden of Joy, Pale Rose, Borgo, Eyrie or Badham is annoying, but also only possible due to a design issue.
Abusing the 'you can't hook me from here' spots on Ormond is also annoying.
If you want to take advantage of this sort of thing then....sure, that's your camel. But you don't get to act surprised when people are cross with you.

I only remember approximately 4 things that can even count as this kind of "precedent" you talk about.
Bubba's Claudette mask, Meg's cornrow hair description, Legion's "suicide blade" and now Saloon's map icon.
I cannot possibly understand how changing these 4 things is remotely arguable or even massive and the game's functioning fine without them. Plus, I have yet to even find one of these scenarios that happened to be any sort of importance as they're all minor changes that don't take that much time to fix, and are changes that make people happier and comfier to play the game🙂. If there's ever a change that's a big deal that's actually worth caring about (not an offering icon) you can let us know!
Well. Yes. 4 things is definitely enough for precedent. There are a few more, but they've already been argued to death.
- Removing those masks was patently ridiculous. There was absolutely nothing about them even close to 'blackface' or 'yellowface' that wasn't a massively bad faith logic stretch. I remember asking Mrs. Lost if maybe I just wasn't seeing it (she's north-African) and she got pretty annoyed - because she interpreted the change as the killer going out of their way to only wear white faces, which implies that there's something wrong with other races. Yeah, that one bugs me.
- Meg's cornrow hair is probably the most obnoxious of the ones you listed, because 'cultural appropriation' is a fringe theory and even then, one that people have massively expanded out past it's initial intention. The person who coined it has gone on the record as saying they regret even mentioning it, because it was never intended to be used to attack people for the pettiest faux-pas or even just enjoying music and fashion from other cultures. Was it removed though?
- Legion's 'suicide' weapon. Yeah, that's silly but I don't care much about it as - in the right light - you could make an argument that it makes the game easier to stream.
- This one...eh. BHVR say it's a self harm thing, but that's not where my mind goes on this one. Once again - I don't really care.
I cannot possibly understand how changing these 4 things is remotely arguable or even massive and the game's functioning fine without them.
The latter two changes are a nontroversy. I don't care.
The first two changes...it comes down to people self-censoring and changing their artistic vision in order to be as inoffensive as possible, leading to very bland art.
I have yet to even find one of these scenarios that happened to be any sort of importance
This is a videogame. None of this is important. It's all just a distraction, something to pass the time between cradle and grave. But it was clearly important enough for you to respond to.
they're all minor changes that don't take that much time to fix, and are changes that make people happier and comfier to play the game
Do they? Which people, exactly? Because, again this was a nontroversy to me and the handful of asian/black folks that I've asked directly about this are more annoyed that the masks were removed.

Ah! So you're one of those people, who still can't get over the removal of the masks and brings it up at any possible time and outright refuses to have empathy for those targeted and instead blames them and not the perpetrators for it's removal. Got it.
You can have empathy for someone who is treated poorly while still being frustrated at deliberately uncharitable takes like Meg's hairstyle being offensive, weird discourse like Tapp, Trickster or Jonah being problematic or the Bubba masks being yoinked, which could be interpreted in a very different way.
I don't think anyone's not over it, but yeah, it's still something that I think a lot of folks disagree with, me included.

Your own imagination of what will happen next that won't happen is amusing. All they did was change an icon. Relax. Breathe.
Shrug.
The word of the day is 'precedent'.
Also...huh, your name sounds familiar. Not sure why.

Just got some major salt in the EDG. A Nemesis running Lethal found me first and got into chase pretty quickly. I managed to keep him busy for two gens, with a third popping shortly after I was hooked. He managed 1k as he had NOED with the other three of us escaping. In the EGC he said stuff like "no skill"/"mindless W gaming" and said we only won because we gen-rushed whilst I 'held W' for a couple of minutes at the start of the match which allowed my teammates to do gens.
Firstly, I play killer quite a lot and if I feel I'm not going to get a survivor downed in chase, I drop the chase and pressure gens/target someone else. Secondly, I only dropped like 2 pallets in the entire chase; everything else was connecting tiles together and using vaults.
I see this critisism thrown around a lot and I just don't understand the mentality. Why be salty just because a survivor is trying to escape, which is ultimately their main objective? Saying "W gaming" is the same as saying "M1 gaming" or "hook gaming" to a killer trying to do their objective... like what do you want the survivor to do? Deliberately mind-game a really unsafe pallet so you can down them? Run in a straight line in a dead zone?
For context, the match was on Azarov's so it's not like it was a pallet-heavy map like Game or Eyrie where you can just pre-drop pallets and run to the next tile (which I guess is considered 'W' gaming!?).

This nemesis sounds bad and salty tbh
But the reason why "w-holding" is despised is simply for how effective it really is compared to how hard it is.
But just like with tunneling and camping the definition is really blurry and people blame it instead of their own mistakes a lot of the times
On one hand, it's a bit of a douchey thing to complain about - but what he's complaining about isn't just holding forward being way more effective than it should be, it's how sometimes map RNG can cause things to spawn in such a way that your map basically plays itself and you can basically vault a window into another window into a great pallet then back to the original window, then another pallet and by then several gens have popped.

I just got called "hacker" by 2 different survivors in 2 separate matches. All I did was using Bubba with enduring, brutal strength, fire up and bamboozle.
Only explaination I got was "you play on Epic = 99% hacker" and "noob Epic account"...
I play on Anon mode and yeah, I get it a lot. Floods of Rage is generally the cause.

Because hanging people on a meat hook while bring chased by a fictional doctor with magical electricity powers is something that is totally a common issue in real life, whereas people unaliving with a noose is a very rare occurance.
It's not an issue for the devs to change something out of compassion. The exact same thing happened with Legion's Blighted Skin, when the knife was renamed to separation blade (previously, suicide blade). You should try it sometime.
Nyarrr...frrr...(other non committal noises) - yeah I have no horse in this race. I've struggled with depression and had a family member die to suicide via a rope and it would never have occurred to me that simply showing the icon of a historical noose was so deeply problematic.
On one hand, my initial take was that they removed it due to...another connotation, and I'd just got done trying to explain to a group of students online that a film director with the last name starting with 'L' and rhyming with 'pinch' is not an example of any sort of systemic issue in the USA.
On the other hand, the slippery slope isn't always a fallacy, and if you start sanding off the rough edges of your horror game because they might offend/upset/make someone uncomfortable - sooner or later you'll have nothing left. I mean, as others have pointed out - you're going to have to change a lot of stuff if you want to go down this road.
But yeah, this is a storm in a teacup and as long as it starts and ends here, I don't care.
@littlepaw said:
god people still care about the saloon map offering icon change? i thought y'all got over it, i guess not 🤨 some of y'all really feel the need to complain to complain, huh
Because on one hand it's quite petty, but on the other - well, now you sort of have to keep removing and changing things because that's the precedent you've established.
@Sava18 said:
It doesn't bother me that they changed it. Maybe they should get rid of 'taking a chance' since it has the same implications.
I guess I'm just something of a purist, and once you start changing things because they might be offensive or upsetting to someone, you never stop.
I mean off the top of my head I've seen:
- Complaints about spider charms worrying arachnophobes.
- Complaints about Plague's puking bothering emetophobes.
- Lots of 'cultural appropriation' stuff, especially around Trickster, Artist and Spirit.
- Tapp, Jonah and a few other survivors being problematic because...uhh, police and I'm ending that thought right there.
I'm sure I can think of plenty more.
It's that icon from FFXIV again. It doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it's still a bit eye-rolly.

I see there is no English version. Thanks for this thread, as I wanted to hear your opinions on the English version of the forum about this article.
By the way, the Japanese community's assessment of this update sucks! Many Japanese survivors who prefer to play solo queue do not want information about other survivors to be visible.
Uh...why?

Because 85% of swfs (just a guess) aren't really sweating. I guess it's better for those swfs who aren't sweating to go against a nurse main or me than a 4 man solo even if those solos are good players.
Define 'sweating?'
Here's the thing. I see a lot of SWFs, especially if I play a late night session. There are generally 4 types.
- Standard group. All running varied, generally strong perks. They want to win. Basically solo queue but they can coordinate and call you out.
- Bully squad. They have a plan to make your life hell. Not necessarily trying to win, more to try and make killers DC. Often uses map specific exploits, like that spot on Ormond where you cannot pick anyone up.
- Meme squad. Somewhere between standard group and bully squad. They can be a bit obnoxious - all the saves, bodyblocks, sabos, head-ons, etc.
- Sweat squad. Come in with a plan to basically speedrun the game. The best items, perks, sometimes a map offering and unless you're running the most stacked Blight you can imagine, there's nothing you can do.
The problem is that you don't know which it'll be going in - so you'll prepare for the sweat squad. If it's not one then meh, flatten them.
If it is, then at least you have a chance.
And this is the mindset of that sweaty Nurse you just got slug 4k'd by.

Let me start by saying no hate to any content creator. I really enjoy majority of content out there.
Also I don't know much about youtube age restrictions so please no hate if i get something wrong just going off what I believe is true based on the few videos ive posted.
So JRM has tweeted that his video was just age restricted for saying the word "killer" in the intro. And ive seen a fair few content creators say that they have had their videos age restricted. It seems to be the topic at the moment.
My question is this. Whenever I post a video to youtube there is are 2 options that come up when listing a video.
- Is this video made for kids
- Do you want to restrict your video to an adult audiance
Now i would assume that any Dead by Daylight content on youtube is always marked as not for kids however the age restricted content is where the confusion lies.
This game is rated PEGI 18 meaning the game is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18. Now given what this game is it is very understable that this game has an 18 raiting given that some of the moris although not overly realistic graphics are quite horrific (Clown cutting off and sucking on a finger for example). Along with literally sacrificing humans to the entity.
Now given this, are content creators still making their videos as not restricted so that anyone can view their content or are they marking it as it should be and restricted.
Based on the videos ive seen recently it seems that youtube is hitting them with age restrictions on their videos which in turn does mean that the videos show up less in recommended (due to the smaller audience that they are allowed to reach). as far as im aware the only reason Youtube would do this is if, when listed, the video was marked as not restricted?
So why is there a problem? I get that having an age restricted video means that you will make less money but you are putting out content on a game that is not suitable to children or anyone under the age of 18. I think its fair for youtube to age restrict your content if you are putting out videos that deserve this restriction.
Now i do understand that youtube are on a lot of creators case right now in a wide range of games/subjects and some does seem to be unjustified my question is purely on DBD content creators.
I'm a content creator (not DbD related) and do more mature, horror themed content - and I will say...this is all pretty tricky, and yet pretty simple.
Here's how I understand it all.
- Technically, if you have any sort of cussing, violence, gore or anything spicy more than...I think it's within 15 seconds of an ad break, they likely will demonetize the video.
- Currently, you rate your own videos for suitableness, but if you're labelling stuff as safe, and an advertiser complains about you, YouTube will review your channel and until this is done, you'll might be demonetized. It will be restored if you're perfect but if there are any issues, you may need to wait for manual reviews for a while before monetizing.
- This (and this part is key) includes not only the person speaking or the media they are showing, but also stream chat. So if you upload a video of a game you played, and someone was dropping F bombs in chat within 15s of an ad break, you may get spanked.
- YouTube's guidelines are very murky when it comes to violent games. It could be read as 'if it's sufficiently violent, you can't show it' or could be read as 'if it's realistically violent, you can't show it'. It could also be read as 'violence, in the context of gameplay, is fine'. This is where it gets tricky, as it seems to depend entirely on who reviews that video.
- Certain kinds of violence are much more likely to get a mod on your butt.
- Outside of gameplay, they are much stricter.
So, in a nutshell - a lot of the ones myself and my little Discord have looked into have cussing or something really gruesome right after an ad break.
It's hard to know what's going on. Just in case, structure your ad breaks carefully.

Counter Trade offer:
SWF gets matched with high priority against Blight and Nurse.
Solo queue players get all the other killers.
Blight and Nurse play only large maps. All the other killers play maps no larger than 9500m².
I suggested something like this way back when - making it work like LoL or HOTS.
Basically - play in an SWF, you get an inflated MMR, proportional to the size of the group, via a multiplier (say 1.2x MMR for both of you playing in a duo, up to 1.7x in a 4man). The devs responded and basically said that they'd tested something similar and it wasn't working right.
