  • It might be added in an upcoming patch? Unlike the other trailers Blight's was dropped the day of his release so idk they might've had issues with it which is a shame cause it's an awesome trailer showing Talbot's final moments and grim fate.

  • I've been playing nothing but addonless Blight on console for the past 3 days and I think the one change he needs is just a better Lethal Rush lunge. Survivors just have to move out of like a 40 degree cone and they're safe. His lunge is so easy to dodge it's upsetting. I've played a few survivor games against him as well and I still feel the same, his lunge is too easy to dodge. I understand he is still very new and difficult to learn but that's just my two cents. Also just move his camera up please. His mobility is still scary good though, just buff his lunge range and he'll definitely be solid B or A tier.

  • Dear PC players,

Please stop complaining about console players, both sides have people that do dumb stuff like DC or suicide on hook. Don't act like there aren't PC players who don't cause there sure as hell are, just like how there console players who do it. One dumb person doesn't ruin a whole faction.

  • Survivors 100%.

The Entity wouldn't let anyone go willingly, it would feed on their emotions until they're out of hope then throw them in the Void.

I believe the devs said that the Entity really likes the Clown. He is one of the killers who willingly entered the Fog and kills for the Entity without disobeying it, unlike say Myers who can kill without the Entity's permission with Tombstone. Going off this I would also assume the Entity likes Ghostface as well.

The Entity doesn't like torture per se, it simply thrives and gains nourishment from strong emotions, and what's a good way to wring strong emotions put of someone? Torture!

Survivors can't request but they might end up becoming a killer as they lose hope.

I can imagine a killer could become a survivor is the Entity sensed it could get stronger emotions out of them as a survivor compared to them as a killer.

Chronologically, Plague is the oldest killer, coming from Babylon, although there might be older killers lurking in the Fog that we havent yet seen.

The most powerful killer is a tough one. I would say Myers or Pyramid Head cause they are able to kill without the Entity's permission, Pyramid Head most likely due to a deal between the Entity and the forces if Silent Hill, idk I haven't played the games, and Myers being the embodiment of pure evil.

  • It usually releases around 11 AM EST.

  • I assume it's something to do with the fact that the portal highlight is constantly appearing and disappearing. Shred also lags cause it has that visual effect similar to Bloodlust that console is known lag at. Also optimization just sucks on console in general :D

  • Demo is the weakest out of this bunch but it still fairly fun to play. However all perks in this chapter except Inner Strength are bad.

Freddy is the strongest killer here and has decent perks. Quentin's perks are very meh though.

Pyramid Head is probably the second strongest here but the only perk of note here is Soul Guard.

Ghostface is the third strongest and has the best perks out of all these chapters, but he doesn't come with a survivor.

  • Fun: Demo, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head, Hag, Ghostface if reveal works properly.

    DC: Freddy

    Ok: Every other killer

Deathslinger is definitely the most fun for me to verse.

  • The Blight could also have one. It seems like based on the fact that he has infinite syringes of Putrid Serum, The Entity might have obliged in giving him his serum in exchange for becoming a killer. In The Hunger Archives it even says he would rip Survivors and Killers apart just for more serum, so the Entity might've given him his serum in exchange for him becoming a killer, so kind of a mutual relationship, Blight kills for The Entity and nourishes it, while the Entity secretes its stuff early instead of all at once on Halloween, thus giving him more serum.

  • September 8th. It used to be 2 weeks but ever since Chapter 15 they've been doing 3 weeks. Add in the fact they released a week old build on the PTB and I think that added in an extra week so we had a 4 week PTB period if I'm counting correctly.

They removed it by making it literally useless to do.

    You lunge, they vault.

    lose lose situation.

You lunge, they vault, you go back and they vault again, now it's blocked by the Entity and they have to jump off or take the hit, and usually the stagger from the fall is more than enough time to get a hit unless they have Balanced Landing.

  • Probably around Christmas, and then we'll get one for Felix, the new survivor for the winter DLC if they aren't licensed, and possibly Cheryl if Konami allows it, and maybe we'll get some more killer ones as well.

  • You can still do it? I literally just did it in my last match. You have to lunge now.

it's not a "tech" it's an exploit at this point.. it's as much a "tech" as a survivor dead hard'ing across the roof on Mother's Dwelling

How is it an exploit? If it was an exploit devs would have removed it by now and devs have said multiple times they won't remove the harvester tech.

  • Next week most likely, they haven't even dropped the full trailer yet.

  • Bill, I love the grizzled old guy characters and I love Left 4 Dead so it was only natural. If Bill never came to console I'd be either a Jeff or Ace main, in fact I was in the middle of leveling Ace up when we got the announcement that Bill would be coming to console.

  • Take DS, go down once gates are open, get hooked, "accidentally" go down again, use DS, become the obsession, and escape. Or just use For the People at the gates.

  • It would also be nice to have a separate post for console and PC. Typing out those long codes on console takes so much longer using a joystick it's basically guaranteed PC players will snatch them up first.

  • God I hope not. Basekit Huntress is one of the killers that no one complains about besides odd hits due to latency but every killer gets those. Huntress literally just needs an addon pass. Make it so that Iridescent Head doesn't interact with Infanty Belt and Leather Loop, give her the appropriate amount of addons, and tweak the numbers of a few of them and maybe change some status effects around. There, Huntress is fixed. That's literally all they have to do. If they mess this up I will be beyond amazed.

Basekit Huntress and reworked Billy is probably the pinnacle of balance for this game, not completely insane like Nurse, Freddy, or Spirit, but still able to hold their own against a team of good survivors, there is literally no reason to change her basekit.

  • From what I heard he is supposed to release next week on the 8th but who knows, maybe we can get lucky and have him tomorrow.

  • @Nova_Terra said:

Almost every killer can be undetectable. It's really not as strong as it used to be.

Technically every killer can become Undetectable through a very limited amount of 4 perks, but only two are good, Tinkerer and Dark Devotion. Insidious and Trail of Torment are bad unless you're running like Bubba's Basement for Insidious. OoO is still strong and downright broken concerning SWF and certain maps. Have you seen a game of OoO on Midwich? It's nearly impossible for the killer to do anything unless you're one of the 3 killers who have Undetectable basekit on demand.

    https://youtu.be/CzbN3cs9ZwI

OoO is just as strong as it always has been unless the killer is running two specific perks or is playing one out of three of the available 25 killers.

  • S - Nurse, Spirit, Freddy

The only killers able to perform well on virtually any map.

    A - Billy, Hag, Huntress

More map dependent than S tier, but still able to perform marginally well compared to most other killers.

B - Oni, Pyramid Head, Ghostface, Doctor, Blight, Bubba, Myers, Deathslinger

Perfectly average killers that will struggle against more coordinated teams or are missing something crucial that will allow them to rise a tier, usually map pressure or being hindered by a slow start.

C - Plague, Demo, Wraith, Trapper

Killers that are more addon dependent and will struggle heavily against coordinated teams. Most lack map pressure and some form of anti loop.

    D - Legion, Clown

Oh to be playing back in Summer 2018 where Clown was ranked B or higher cause no one knew how to play against him. These two haven't had a good time. 0 map pressure, both have non lethal powers,, you have to play extremely well to succeed as these two killers.

I know it's definitely way too early to throw Blight anywhere really especially with him being bugged but I figured why not might as well.

  • I take breaks about a month after new killer comes out. I get them to P3 50 which takes about a week or less depending on how much I play, play them for a few weeks, then usually take a break by the time the mid chapter patch is in PTB or out. Then I come back when they announce a new one to shake the rust off and stockpile Bloodpoints.

Release the Hounds:. Killer can whistle and call upon 2 Bloodhounds to hunt and down a injured survivor. This can only be used once per trial. The bloodhounds then staves off other survivors at a 15m range from picking up a downed survivor. And if a survivor jukes and manages to get close enough to touch the downed survivor. The Bloodhounds can injure the would be savior. This ability lasts until downed survivor(s) is picked up by the killer or ?/?/?s pass (tier wise).

Replaces Deerstalker perk. Bloodhounds howl in order for killer to track downed survivor location.

(Ironically I lost track of thoughts in the end explaining, but the concept is there) 🤷‍♂️

This sounds like it could be a potential killers power if it was based on like a token and cooldown system or something had some other use like tracking. Maybe a hunter using them to track his quarry like The Most Dangerous Game?

  • Instead of an offering can we just fix totem placements at base? No more out in the open totems or totems next to gens please. This should've been fixed years ago.

  • Yikes. Just yikes.

Legion is generally seen as one of the worst killers in the game for good reason. Their power is nonlethal and incredibly punishing for misusing it. Just because Otz got a couple of 4Ks as Legion doesn't mean anything, Otz is one of the best killer players in the game, he could reliably 4K as almost any killer. Legion's power has Counterplay, if you spread out it becomes useless.

  • I agree, instasaw was the one thing that really needed changing, but Billy got the Nurse treatment with his "addon pass" and is now nowhere near as good as he was. Hopefully some changes get made to Billy before this update hits live servers but I doubt it.

  • A week or two ago I would've said Billy, but now that he's nerfed I'd have to say Huntress. A killer with a really high skill cap that requires time to learn, but can still be outplayed by really good survivors or is just ######### on by map RNG.

  • Dear god no. Legion 1.0 was the most busted killer on release and NEEEDED to be changed. This is coming from a Killer and Legion main. Does this mean Legion deserves zero buffs whatsoever? Absolutely not, but Legion needs to be buffed in a way that doesn't bring old Legion back. I'd say start at lowering the stun time after Frenzy by a second or so and go from there, or make needing to Mend more threatening.

  • Oh, how about a 50% chance that the handle of the Hatchet hits the survivor instead of the head of the Hatchet and deals no damage and gives survivors a speed boost? Of course on top of the necessary charge bar.

  • Cages are practically an instant save against teams with more than 4 brain cells. This would be such an unnecessary nerf and would make Pyramid Head one of the worst killers in the game. Cages send you to the other side of the map, usually allowing a free save, and letting you heal/get back on gens faster than if your team had to run to where you are on the hook, not to mention more dangerous as the killer would still be relatively nearby. Cages are extremely situational, and the only people using Cages for every single hook state are the people who don't know how to play Pyramid Head effectively. Cages are the worst aspect of his power, and using only Cages hurts him more than it helps him. This would make the Cages absolutely worthless, and make him basically a worse version of Demogorgon without map pressure.

Not to mention if they made this change they would have to make perks relating to hooks work for killers too. That means Devour Hope, BBQ, PGTW, ect. You can't just have only survivor or killer hook perks work on Cages, that either makes him too strong or too weak and shows clear bias towards one side, something Devs obviously don't want.

  • I have all killers but am missing every survivor since Curtain Call came out. Kate was the last new one I got cause I main Bill, and I've bought every killer alone since.

  • I'd say Darkness Among Us. Ormond and old Legion? No thanks.

    @malatruse said:

Curtain Call because I don't like Clown's character design or lore. Plus no new map release.

Curtain Call came with a new map though, Father Campbell's Chapel. Do you mean no new realm?

  • Legendary skins are fine, if a little overpriced. SETS though, I believe are pointless. Lisa being a set makes sense cause she's a legendary skin and totally different character than Cheryl. Pyramid Head's cosmetic being a set doesnt make sense, he should be able to be mixed and matched. Legion's Robbie Rabbit skin being a set also makes sense cause it's whole mascot suit. I believe that all legendary skins should be sets, and certain skins should be sets based on context.

I'm assuming the reason for this is Konami having an iron grip on BHVR and wants everything done a really specific way. This was probably the only way we got a Silent Hill chapter in the first place.

  • Because survivors don't need buffs in the first place. Ever since Curtain Call came out in June 2018 the game has been been becoming more and more balanced than it's ever been. Just take a look back at any point from 2016-2018 and you'll see how obscenely broken survivors were. That isn't saying killers haven't received or needed their share of nerfs, Nurse finally got reworked, so did Spirit, and Legion got nerfed into the ground, but all of these were better for the games health. As it currently is the game is in a much better spot than it ever has been.

    That would be cool!

    If anyone would actually play demogorgon these days ;_;

Please guys in the last 2 weeks I have only faced demo twice and one of them was a camper, why are you all so reluctant to play him?

Demo is a jack of all trades, master of none, mid tier killer who takes some time to get used to using his power effectively. Most people would rather spend the time they would use learning Demo learning Nurse or Spirit instead. I think the only people that main him now are:

    1. Stranger Things fans

    2. People who wanna be the giant badass monster

    3. People who find him really fun to play

Regarding the topic, it would be nice thematically, and even better if it replaced the map wide teleporting notification, but I think most lights in the game are already flickering, and I can't see them going through every single map and changing them just for Demo unless he gets a rework, not to mention some maps don't have any lights at all I'm pretty sure.

  • Don't forget there might possibly be another killer getting a skin cause they release a DLC in September usually as well, and if it's a nonliscenced character they might get one as well.

  • Legion, definitely. Bubba at least has an instadown and can break pallets slightly faster and potentially minigame and zone with his chainsaw. Legion just makes you mend for 12 seconds then eats a 4 second stun while the survivor is basically guaranteed to get to another loop or window. Both lack map pressure but Bubba's power can at least help in in a chase, Legion can't do anything during chase with their power other than get an easy first hit.

  • I got to 70 at around 20 days left. I was surprised in myself cause I was taking a break at the start of the Rift and came back at around 59 days left, and only started doing challenges about a week in.

  • I'm All Ears, BBQ, PGTW, and Discordance. Discordance is just good for helping me get in chases early and preventing multiple survivors on gens, I avoid using Cages to get the most uses out of BBQ and PGTW cause they're too good not to use, and I'm All Ears is just perfect for his power.

Isn't that the pipe drop one? Pretty sure the killer just knocks them down as they fall. I saw it on a Monto video recently where he did it by accident and a PH just dropped down on top and he fell with him. Though it could be because of PH's size maybe.

When I first found this spot accidentally I was going against a Bubba, and he vaulted right after me and fell without pushing me in. Really hope this gets patched out soon.

  • @Mandy said:

Being able to allow it for licensed characters would be great, but due to the licenses it's not possible I'm afraid.

Any clue about Ghostface though? The only thing liscenced for him is the mask, the character, lore, power, most cosmetics, and perks were all original, no?

  • Spirit, Haunted Grounds, Thrill of the Hunt, and two other totems of your choosing. Addons for increasing speed while Phasing and longer duration, so Mother Daughter Ring and whatever increases duration. Yoink off of any and all totems. You need Haunted Grounds to use all 5 totems, and Thrill of the Hunt to know that someone is working on one.

  • I will definitely say he is a but better now, and feels so much better to play, but he is still pretty weak overall and lacks map pressure. He might be able to end chases quickly but that won't matter once you have to lug your ass all the way across the map at 115% with barely any map presence.

Thanks, I'm not really feeling the halo, but that death slinger outfit... me likes

I'm in the same boat. None of the Deathslinger outfits really do it for me besides the Default and Prestige ones, and cause this is just a recolor of the Default, I'm really liking it as well.

  • Yes, Peanits has confirmed on another thread that even if you don't own him, it will still be in your inventory if you do buy him. He did say you wouldn't be able to unlock the Crown, as that obviously requires playing as him.

  • Spirit and Oni are the only really big stinkers I can think of. Their hair just hides the crown. I'd also argue Plague, cause she already kinda has a gold crown/headdress, and of course stealth killers. Imagine if Ghostface or Pig had one, you'd never be able to stalk or get Ambush hits.

  • I just finished getting mine. The reactions have been mixed for a few killers, but most seem to enjoy them! Poor Rin keeps getting her hair tangled in it, and when Demo saw one in a trial the first thing he tried doing was eating it. Danny was disappointed as well when he saw be didn't get one, even though the only thing licensed about him is his mask, but Adiris, Susie, and Max are all happy to wear theirs, and everyone had a blast getting them! Now the survivors get to have their turn!

  • Why? The only one I could see being reasonable is the first one to stop gen tapping, which honestly should've been implemented a long time ago. It's not really fair that killers have to do a 3 second animation to make a gen regress at what, 0.5 charges a second? Then survivors can come in and only have to spend a single frame, which allows them to stop it mid chase. If a killer wants to re-kick the gen that's 3 second and most likely a lost chase while the survivor runs away.

As for the others, no. The Stain is perfectly fine. If you think it give too much information, then learn to moonwalk. The post hit speed boost is fine and needed. If it's just 0.5 seconds they have no time to run before the killer catches up. It would be like permanent STBFL, and speaking of STBFL, it would be broken as you could hit someone practically instantly afterwards as they wont be able to run far enough away.

  • You're joking right? If anything this is a buff. I've been wanting this done for ages now cause autoaim always decides to hit the hooked survivor. If you are really desperate and care about BMing so much you can still hit them. There is nothing to complain about here. This is both a buff for killers and removes a way to be toxic, both are good for the games overall health and aren't hurting anything.
